Tuve una muy buena experiencia. Solo que el piso a veces tenia mucho polvo y la puerta del baño estaba dañada. El personal es excelente, el desayuno es muy rico, lugar muy seguro. No recomiendo caminar hasta provenza a pies pues el camino es oscuro y solitario. Pero en Uber llegas muy rapido.

Hotel Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend that you download Google translator if you are not good with speaking Spanish. Breakfast was enough to satisfy the average person and the chef will cook any of the typical breakfast food like an omelette. One small elevator that everyone has to ride including house keeping so hopefully no more than five ppl will need to go to their rooms at once. I really hope the elevator never need service because walking up several flights will make anyone upset.

Room 702 had a broken window latch, which prevented the window from closing. It had a stay cracked the 1 night I spent in the room before the manager offer to change my room. Lobby has music but lacks the inviting vibe. Maybe redecorating the lobby would give it a welcoming vibe. During my stay they closed off dinning area for a special private event for a soccer team. They also closed it another day for a kids bday party.

No iron, spotty wifi in Lobby area (which you will need to request at check in the wifi password because they do not volunteer to give it to you) Very Clean Place, in a nice location that's near everything I wanted to see. 5 to 10 minutes cab ride everywhere that we needed to go. With the exception of the airport.

I really love this place more than I expected. It’s not super luxurious at all and very basic but it’s maintained in a way that makes you feel like you’re in a higher Class Hotel. The staff also make you feel like you’re in a higher Class Hotel at least for me that’s how I was treated. I can imagine if a foreigner comes in feeling entitled, they may not have the same experience. The room was very clean and the towels were super fresh. The gym is very very minimal but a good space to work out.

This Hotel is definitely walking distance to Provenza and restaurants but I highly suggest you Uber to places. You’ll be around very steep hills if you are walking be ready for a workout. Other than that this hotel charges around $20 for a pass to bring a single guest to your room.

One negative thing that I would say it’s very close to the Main Street but on an up hill. So you have to walk up, for some that like walking shouldn’t be a problem but me I don’t . lol but staff and hotel superb !

I would like to rate 10 stars to the staff, Camilo, Vanessa, Andres, Marcela and Danilo. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I loved that breakfast was included. I would have enjoyed a hot tub on the property though after coming back from a long day of excursions, but I would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much

The location is unique .... nice and quiet for a good sleep, with great staff ready to assist you. Provenza (Happiest area in Medellin) is only a 8-10 min walk, enough distance to keep the noise away. Definitely a nice place.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The people working the front desk were very nice. There was a bit of a language barrier, however I was able to book a great tour pretty last minute thanks to them. The bummer was the breakfast staff. They were pretty rude, would ask for your room number even if they knew you were staying there. They ran out of coffee two mornings in a row and acted like I was crazy for wanting some at 8 a.m.?? The location was also a huge downfall after staying much closer to the centro. It is a bit of an uphill walk after a night out, and pretty dark and quiet for medellin :(

Mr Felipe Restrepo TERRIBLE welcoming & engagement with Bad attitude and unwilling to help or make our stay pleasant. Fortunately, mr. Didier Montoya did. He was very nice, professional, kind and helpful. Things you expect to receive from a hotel staff. We had to switch rooms because of an issue with the AC and the blow dry but of course mr Montoya made de arrangements.

I had a terrible experience staying at that hotel. I found two cockroaches in my room. The front reception told me that I needed to speak to their boss. But, the boss refused to speak to me about it. Instead, when I waited for him to arrive, he never did, and instead called the police to escort me out of the building. I never caused any kind of commotion to warrant that type of treatment. There are many other hotels on this site with the same or better value. Epic, Dann Carlton, Park Royale (sp?) are all better choices.

The hotel is in a nice location, not too far from Parque Lleras or Calle 10. The staff are very nice but not too many speak English very well. The room card loses charge if you go too far from the hotel (even within the city) and you have to recharge it at reception every time you come back and that is very annoying. The water is hot, which is nice, however it’s not consistent so it’ll be hot for 10 seconds then cold for a few seconds then hot again so be careful for that nasty surprise when showering. The hotel breakfast is nice, the same food offerings daily but it’s not bad, plus the fresh orange juice is a nice touch.

We had a miscommunication issue with the staff that I felt was poorly handled by the hotel and I only found out during checkout at 3:00am when I had to be at the airport for my flight out. I was really disappointed in how they handled the issue as both my fiancé and I had made sure we were told one thing and to find out at checkout that it in fact was another thing. It became and he said she said and the person who told us originally was not on shift so there was nothing we can do since he did not write anything down...apparently. Pretty sure there’s video at reception and you can review it but they decided not to. Overall I’d give this hotel a 2.5/5. We stayed for 10 nights.

Entire stay start to finish was plagued with problems and in 11 days I never saw a manager even once. I asked to speak with a manager repeatedly, literally every day for more than 5 days, yet I was always given excuses and never had a chance to discuss all the problems caused by staff at the hotel. I would never stay there again, and the nightmare check-out experience will haunt me for a long time. The hotel thought I owed them some money, so three male staff members ganged up on me. Despite knowing that I urgently needed to leave in order to get an Uber to the bus station in time to catch the shuttle to the airport, the staff members did everything possible to ensure that I would miss my flight. Two staff members even jumped at my Uber driver and harassed him until he agreed to drive off without me so that I would be stuck there while they continued to embarrass me and create a huge scene. The hotel is on a completely dead street with nobody walking around or shops or anything, but by some miracle, an empty taxi drove by and I quickly got in. Again, the staff harassed the taxi driver and told him that he could get in trouble with the police if he gave me a ride because they wanted more money from me first. So the taxi driver tossed me out. After another verbal confrontation, I was forced to walk 6 minutes down a very steep hill with 27 kg of luggage until I could find another taxi to the bus station. I was so scared that I would miss my flight due to all this nonsense!

A pleasent 4 days

It’s a very clean hotel located up the hill and away from the hubbub. It’s an easy walking to town but keep in mind it’s definitely uphill. The front desk staff spoke enough English to get by. The rooms were simple and small but very comfortable. The morning breakfast was more than adequate but you want to get there before 9:30 otherwise they start to run out of things. I would like to point out that when you leave for the day be sure to turn on the housekeeping light when leaving your room otherwise they may not service it.

Our first visit to Colombia and we were extremely happy with our hotel stay. Wonderful staff and facility and very comfortable spacious room. Breakfast had lots of fruit, eggs, side dishes, something for everyone. In a quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and parks. Very lush neighborhood, we felt safe walking around even in the evening and the view from the room was nice..

Quiet hotel, good service

I stayed at the hotel for four nights. The staff is very attentive and friendly and reception staff also speaks english. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. It is aprox. 10 min. on foot to Calle 10 and Parque Lleras and 30 min. to the metro station Poblado. The room and bathroom are spacious and cleanliness is excellent. Wifi is strong and reliable.
Drawbacks: the hallway to the room has no carpet, that's good for cleanliness but bad for noise reduction. So if other guests go to their room it is a bit loud. But since there are only four rooms on one floor it is not so much traffic going on.
Breakfast is a bit poor for sweets lovers. They offer only toast and a small range of marmelades to choose from and of course some fruit.
Despite of this I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much and would definitly stay there again.

A little out of the way gem

Set a short walk up from the bustling part of Poblado, this practically new hotel is spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is decent with some fresh fruit options, eggs, pastries and some meat.

Head and shoulders above everything though, was the service. Everybody at the hotel went out of their way to assist us with any request, random as could be.

A few nitpicky comments, like the lack of hooks to hang out towels or clothes and a bathroom door that was a little tough to close would not diminish my recommendation. I would go back next time I'm in Medellin.

It's a bit of a walk from the main area, I personally enjoyed the walk as it goes through a nice neighborhood.
The first day a breakfast was a buffet with good variety one and the next it was by order and small.
It's good deal for the money anyway.

Great hotel for a great value

My stay at Lomas 10 was impecable. I even checked in before the normal check in time. The room was clean, comfortable, the facilities look brand new. Hotel staff was very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was good; not so big but very complete in options. It is near to many attraction points and zona rosa however it is in very quiet location. I would definitely go back to that hotel while in Medellin.

They may treat you better

The hotel appears to be still under construction in some places. Some of the staff are pleasant. Some are not. The evening manager is nice and speaks some English. The rest of the staff does not. The bed was comfortable and the look of the hotel is pretty. Hot water is inconsistent, so be careful - you could be showering pleasantly and then all of a sudden get boiled. Again, however, the bathroom is pretty. TV may work, or it may not. Hopefully you know a thing or two about selecting inputs. Otherwise you are out of luck. If you do, then there is a good selection of channels. As the hall is all tile and the doors are not sound-proofed, everything happening in the hallway is heard in your room. Biggest issue though was that they wouldn't serve me breakfast - I think because I said my Spanish isn't that good. While others in the restaurant were served by the waiter with the greatest of care, I was ignored and had to get my own food/drinks. I was the first one in there in the morning and watched as others who came after me were offered juice, bread, eggs, coffee, etc. For me: nothing. What I got, I had to get up and get for myself. Eggs and toast were only for those who could order from the kitchen. The night manager said he would do something to make me quite happy about my stay when I spoke to him about it in the evening. The result: nothing. I had no interest in breakfast the next morning. The waiter did offer to help me with my bags the next morning.

Tuve una excelente estadía en el Hotel Lomas 10 de Medellín. El hotel es bonito, extremadamente limpio, la atención es excelente, el desayuno es sabroso, la cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Lo único que se podría mejorar son unos pequeñísimos detalles en la habitación que necesitan ser mantenidos, como un poco de pintura escarchada en la pared. Pero eso realmente no afectó mi estadía para nada. Lo recomiendo 100% y volvería a quedarme allí.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, una zona tranquila y se percibe segura.
La infraestructura del hotel en buen estado, el mobiliario y la limpieza son acorde al servicio a recibir.
El personal muy amable, la habitación la entregaron antes de la hora pactada lo que para mi fue un plus muy importante.
La habitación en buen estado, el baño, el colchón delicioso, los precios de minibar muy acorde a la realidad, la ducha tenia agua caliente.
El único inconveniente es que en la madrugada me despertaron los ruidos de una de las habitaciones cercanas, no se si del mismo piso o de un piso superior o inferior (me ubiqué en la habitación 5-02), la pareja de dicha habitación estaban en su momento intimo y se escuchaba todoooo, lo que para mi fue incomodo, por lo que considero deben revisar el tema del aislamiento de ruidos entre habitaciones. Mi sueño es muy sensible y tardé en volver a retomar mi descanso.
