Excellent service and hospitality! Staff really care about your well-being and your stay. Especially with altitude aclimatization here in Cuzco! 5 stars from me! It's a historic hotel site, so it is as original as the site can be. Not too many luxuries. But it is clean, and the staff is friendly and caring.

There were bed bugs and the smell was disgusting. The front desk man was horrible and not in any way helpful. They refused to give me my money back after literally confirming that there were bed bugs in my bed. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us and give us a great experience. Room was clean and the location was stellar. They even packed us a lunch for Machu Pichu for free. The included breakfast was very good, better than the standard continental with eggs made to order or a pancake. Stored our luggage too!

We loved staying at the Yabar Hotel. One thing to remember is that it doesn’t have an elevator so you need to get your luggage upstairs if you are on the second floor. The staff was super attentive and helpful. My dad forgot his gold wedding gift and they found it and kept it for us. People are very honest and friendly.

I made a booking for 1 night last minute as I decided to stay 1 extra night in Cusco. The location couldn't be better, just a few steps away from Plaza de Armas, but it was not facing the square so it was noy too noisy at night.
The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. Unfortunately I could not try the breakfast as I had to check out very early to catch my flight.
The receptionists were friendly, they also booked a taxi to the airport for me.

This was the most amazing hotel! The staff were so nice, willing to help with recommendations, and flexible with breakfast tour hours. The only minimal downside was the lack of soundproofing. They have oxygen and cocoa leaf tea on hand for altitude sickness and other tea for reducing stress. They know the local pharmacies to go to for local medicine, best cafes, and anything else you may need. A

My wife and I with 2 teenage kids had a wonderful 3-nights stay at Yabar Hotel during the Carnival/Festival week. We booked two rooms, and the hotel helped to arrange the rooms next to each other. This hotel's location is at the heart of the Cuzco, less than one minute walk to the main plaza, and 10 minutes walk to almost everything in Cuzco historic area. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a historical building, but with modern amenities inside, very neat, clean and cool, especially if you like to stay in a old historical house. By the way, if you get altitude sickness, they have oxygen bottle ready in the lobby, and will make coca tea for you. Loved the experience there.

Lo mejor de este hotel es su staff, Samir, Hilda, Mary y las chicas del front desk son super amables. Me hospedé sola por cuatro noches, cuando llegué me sentía un poco mal y ellos hicieron lo posible por tener mi habitación lista antes de la hora de check-in para que yo pudiera entrar y recuperarme.

Great location just off of the main square. We had a large comfortable downstairs room. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was a Continental buffet style which was good. The staff were all very friendly and Samir was the star who did everything to make us feel relaxed and at home. We would most definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Cusco. Everyone is very helpful, breakfast is delicious, and it is very close to everything. If I come back, I definitely would! I also especially enjoyed working with Samir who is friendly and helpful through our entire trip! 10/10!

Friendly staff. Big room. Two-minute walk to Plaza de Armas. Good breakfast. Guests should be aware there is no elevator but staff is on the ready to help with luggages. There is no heating in the room but portable electric heaters are available on request. Beds have thick thermal blankets. Creaky floor but it wasn’t a problem for us. Very good value.

Great central location right on the the Plaza. Helpful staff. Good sized room. My bedroom a bit odd in that it had no windows (bathroom did) only a skylight so no way to keep light out at 5.30am. Other rooms may be different.

It is nothing like the photos. Expedia 's fees are horribly overcharged. The room was cold but it had a heater. The extra blanket smelled to urine. The towels were tiny and the edges were flaking. The haidryer was on for 20 seconds and off for 2 minutes! Try drying your hair like thst. The packed breakfast was a miserable ham and tiny slice of cheese , a banana and bottled water. I had asked for cheese only and got this mortadela slice with a faint slice of cheese. That was allegedly worth Usd$5.00. Shocking! The night guard was a gem.

Yabar Hotel is in the heart of the Plaza De Armas and is in walking distance to most attractions. The staff was extremely lovely and hard working. The bed was very comfortable and the shower with a never ending supply of hot water. The facilities are not new, but the comfort of being there makes up for it!
