Very nice place to stay. Great location if you need to be near Homestead, Florida but want to enjoy part of the Keys. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet on the weekends, boat traffic with their stereo systems and the restaurant across the channel were a bit too loud. Otherwisw, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The property is pretty tired. Mismatched tiles, broken countertop, peeling cabinets, cracks in the bathroom wall, poor bed frame, and outdated. They did adjust the room rate due to the local fires and resulting very late arrival. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms should look as nice as the lobby!

We loved our stay and the central / gated location was perfect! The view from all of the rooms balconies face the water to enjoy the sunset and it’s small enough to feel very private. Loved the bar restaurant, The Black Siren, next door! The service, food and drinks were perfect! Yes, it a bit dated but we knew that and it added to the fishing village vibe. We would definitely stay again!

While the view is good the room itself was damp and wet feeling. The bed was horrible. Bed was worn out sagging and like everything else damp feeling. We left a day early. Location was horrible. Don’t believe the pictures on website. Bar across from the hotel was playing loud music until midnight and I mean very loud. Only good thing was pool and lounge chairs.

Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Near my daughter and lots of other things to do. It is a two room suite overlooking Florida Bay. Got a boat? Dock it here. Rooms are big, spotless, comfortable and a kitchenette included. Five stars.

Positives- Stayed for 6 days (and I hope to stay there again), VERY clean room, one of the cleanest pools that I have ever seen and the rest of the grounds were spotless. Every employee that I interacted with was smiling, talkative and very helpful with any questions I had.
Negatives- Our bed could have used a new mattress-getting worn and it would have been great if the units and an oven because all we could do was cook on the cooktop and in the microwave.
Should consider installing key cards for the rooms instead of the old school metal keys. Upgrade the furniture to more modern.

Really liked the atmosphere….the room is like an apartment so had the separate bedroom and kitchen. Laundry room nearby was nice as well. Nice relaxing pool area along the canal so saw some pretty nice boats. Great place, will definitely stay again on our next visit to the Keys

This resort is dated but well maintained. Staff is excellent. I would prefer fully non-smoking, where outdoor smoking is permitted here. We chose because of access to water for kayaking and this property is good for that. Also we wanted kitchen facilities. Overall adequate and comfortable stay.

We only stayed one night. The unit was clean but very dated and the sofa bed was terrible. 2nd floor unit and the tile floors in the living room have separated from the subfloor so it popped when you walked on it. The shower had excellent water pressure!

GORGEOUS VIEW AND PROPERTY. PEOPLE VERY FRIENDLY, GATED AND LOCKED, DEFINATELY SAFE. WE HAVE MEDICAL CARE SO CLEANLINESS WAS A BIG CONCERN. IT WAS VERY CLEAN. The only negative review I can give is we had to move a kitchen chair over a soft part in the floor, you can hear the floor shifting and feel the soft spot. We thought we could fall through. I'd definately stay here again and I definately recommend this property.

Great efficiency for families! We weren’t even expecting the wonderful screened porch overlooking the water, which was a great bonus! The room and property were overall very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to enjoy a family vacation. The bathroom was a bit small and outdated, but still functional. We did have some trouble retrieving our room key upon arrival, as the code for the lockbox was not working, but we called the after hours assistance number and the staff was very helpful in assisting us with getting the key.

Was ok, nice waterfront to hang out at. Only one eatery in walking distance which was also ok. Only thing was the property did not look like it wanted to invest in improvement just hoping someone would buy the property to tear it down for a profit.

The view was amazing and you were able to here music from the band across the bay. Getting to the location was a little surprising as it was an exit in the middle of a bridge . Highly recommend it!

The highway sign needs a little clearer direction. However, once you know where you are going it is easy. The property itself was nice. I quite liked staying there. My only concern is the elavator. I understand that it is an old hydrolic system however, it has to have an oil leak as the whole elevator wreaks of hydrolic oil. I have no idea when it was last serviced as it is not posted in the elavator. Final thoughts. I would give the whole property a 4out 5 and I did enjoy my stay there.

There were a few things in the room that could have used some updates (mainly the bathroom and sofa bed) and I did not like that the only water cooler was by the front desk which was only open 9 to 5. (If you wanted water during non-business hours you were stuck getting it from the sink or buying it from the vending machine.) But overall, my family enjoyed their stay here and will probably do so again. The view of the marina was gorgeous and the rooms are very suitable for a family with children.

If you have a boat or trailer, there is no parking available at this facility. We showed up late at night and had nowhere to park our boat. The facility is dated and it’s furnishings and linens, the bathroom is extremely small. The balcony was nice with a view, but we really felt like it was not safe. The bar across the way plays musics on on the weekend all day long and all night long so be ready to listen to music all the time loud back and it was very loud. The front desk person argued with us at checkout because we were quoted a rate of $23 per day to park our boat at the marina and when we went to check out she tried to charge us $50 per day and argued with us about it. Finally after calling her supervisor, the supervisor did agree to the original quote. We will not return here, again thank you

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. We checked in after dark and was suspect with the check in instructions when I got the email but the room was great! Clean, nice kitchenette suite that was fully stocked. Coffee with real coffee mugs. Lots of clean towels, comfortable bed and pillows. We showered and went right to bed. The next morning, woke to a beautiful view of a cute marina and shuffle board. We had a large balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. So picturesque. I imagine this was quite the place in its heyday but when the highway went in, they were no longer on the main route. Such a shame. We saw no one as we got there late and left early. It was quite and perfect for an overnite. We chose this place on price alone. I tried to add photos but they exceeded size
