We loved our stay at Magic Island, its a great hotel if you want to have a relaxing holiday but still able to access the south side of the island at ease. The rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean and have everything you need. The staff really make this hotel, they are amazing and create such a special experience for guests!

The highlight of our stay at Island Magic Villas was the incredibly attentive & communicative staff. Property Manager Robbie saw to every detail of picking us up from the airport and delivering us to the hotel. This involved a taxi to the island ferry, golf cart pick up and transportation across the main island, with another short ferry to north Caye Caulker, and pick up yet again by golf cart. We would not have known how to navigate this without Robbie taking care of the details. We received the same level of care when we departed six nights later, this time taking a short flight from the island to BZE.
Robbie was readily available on WhatsApp, and we appreciated the kind, constant, and professional level of attention from each staff member. Shout outs to Josslin, Eli, Justino! We enjoyed many delicious meals—and beverages—at Peach on the Beach. (Grilled whole fish and frozen drinks were favorites.) We took advantage of the bikes on property as we explored the entire length of charming and diverse Caye Caulker. We even spotted crocodiles at the edge of the mangrove preserve at the far north end of north Caye Caulker!
The view from our room was lovely, overlooking the pool. Second story suites were booked, plan ahead and try to get these for an even more expansive view.
Thank you one and all for making us feel so welcomed and at home at Island Magic Villas. Memories of our time together remain with us and we pray for blessings upon each of you.

Recommend this place 100%! It’s a great escape from the South Island. The villa was clean and well maintained, the food was excellent and all of the staff were exceptional. We loved our stay there. My only small request is to have coffee makers in all of the rooms.

This hotel, the location, staff, our room - it really was fantastic.
The location is less than 10 minutes walk to the split ferry, so dipping in and out of South Caulker was really easy.
The pool, beach and bar/restaurant were exactly what we wanted - fairly quiet and very chilled.
All in all, a great stay. Thanks

Island Magic Villas had both positives and challenges. Booking was confusing because the Villas are on the north side, which actually means across the Split by water, not the north side of the main island. I was initially disappointed, but it ended up being nice to be away from the bustle while still being able to go into town when we wanted. However, this does mean relying on the shuttle (which sometimes did not answer the phone) and paying each time to cross. This was difficult for my mother, who recently had hip surgery.

The property itself was beautiful and clean, and the swing chairs by the beach and pool were lovely. Our rooms were huge, which we appreciated as a family of four, and my mother had a very spacious room as well. The men on staff were wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. Robbie deserves a special shout‑out. Housekeeping staff were very sweet, although the cleaning could use better training. Unfortunately, the woman in the main office for our first two days was rude, unhelpful, and often seemed annoyed to deal with guests.

The restaurant was average and priced on the higher side, so I recommend eating in town—Magic Cup on the south side was great for breakfast.

Most importantly, there was loud construction right outside our building from 6 AM to 6 PM daily, with no warning from the hotel. It seriously affected our stay. Before booking, make sure the construction next door is completed.

Great location if you want to escape the sometimes chaotic nature south of the split ! Staff are amazing and friendly making you feel so welcome! The only thing I’d improve is to make sure you have fresh drinking water inside your unit as ours did not. However we asked for drinking water and the staff were able to provide us a couple of bottles and a pitcher.

The staff are terrific. Didn't get all their names but Victor and Eli were especially helpful. The \"villas\" are on the north island and not where we thought they'd be near the ferry dock, which was initially a shock. We had to take a golf cart, a short ferry, and another golf cart to reach the villa. It turned out ok because everyone was so nice shuttling us around, but it did mean a bit more hassle and earlier morning to get to our snorkel trip. The property is gorgeous and new with a beautiful ocean-front pool and nice little, simple restaurant. Though less than 2 years old, it seems older because work has been apparently shoddy. For example there are many places where paint has been sloppily applied. Our screen door didn't slide. There were no lightbulbs in any of our 4 reading lights on the beds. The drapes hang from a metal pipe rather than a proper rod, and are very cheap so don't keep out the glaring LED outdoor lights. Our door to the sun roof had a broken lock that would have locked us out of the apartment if we had all wanted to relax up there. The toilet seat was very loose. LOTS of potential here but they need a little quality control. However I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for peace and quiet and excellent service. AC was very cool and there's a huge new TV for movie night. Kitchen was well equipped and very neat.

The room was amazing, and the staff was agent more impressive. They were beyond friendly, constantly checking on us, driving us to and from the split, happy to find whatever NFL gam on at the bar and even coming to our room to get it on after the bar closed. Would return it recommend 100%

My family and I had an amazing stay at Island Magic Villas. We stayed for 4 nights over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed every minute. The villa was really clean and fresh including the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen had everything you needed if you wanted to cook or eat inside, they also have a water dispenser. All of the furniture was comfortable, all fresh linens provided. All of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating from the time we got to Belize city airport until we left. The restaurant on property served delicious food and drinks and offered plenty of fun things to do while on the property including the pool. You will get very scenic views and peaceful surroundings… not too far from the split. I would 100% recommend a stay here. I can’t wait to return.

Excellent stay. Very good food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner available at the on-site restaurant. Robbie’s helpful and attentive service throughout the stay made everything perfect. We recommend getting the punch-card for “the split” foot ferry if you are staying for more than two nights — especially if you have multiple guests.

I stayed at El Ben Cabañas for one night in early October during my birthday trip to Belize. I was born in Belize and live in the United States, but on this visit home, I wanted to experience more of the tourist side this time. The resort is absolutely beautiful and located on the north side of Caye Caulker. Even though that side is quieter and less built up, the staff made everything so easy. They took us back and forth on a golf cart to the south side ferry whenever we wanted to explore and never once made us feel bad about it.

We visited during the off-season, so it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The night before, a storm had flooded the room we were supposed to have, so they upgraded us to the most amazing suite — a huge room, soft bed and sheets, a wraparound porch, a recliner chair, and even a heated toilet! The front desk welcomed us with two drinks, and everyone we met was friendly and kind. I wish I remembered the name of the woman who checked us in because she was wonderful.

The property was peaceful, clean, and quiet — perfect for relaxing. You do have to pay for your own ferry back and forth from north to south, but they’ll help you coordinate it easily. Overall, it was the best way I could’ve spent my birthday, and I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxury stay in Caye Caulker. THANK YOU EL BEN!
