The resort was nice-close to where our grandson is staying. But the resort needs much updating. Safes don’t work, lots of light bulbs out in the rooms and drain stops in all the sinks gone. When we came to check in at 5 PM -office was locked and couldn’t get in the rooms.
But the staff was nice, the shower and water was nice and hot. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked well.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was the worst hotel experience ever.

Room was disgusting: Stained bed sheets/pillows, dirty bathroom and floors, insects everywhere. Completely unsanitary.

Everything broken: Leaky toilet, noisy, rocking refrigerator, broken TV/blinds/windows, exposed electrical wires (safety hazard!), hard uncomfortable beds.

Service awful: Requested room change due to conditions - told nothing available. Staff unhelpful throughout stay.

False advertising: Booked suite with pool view, got makeshift front room with no privacy. Booked package with breakfast included but was charged $25 daily for breakfast.

Outdated everything: Ancient appliances, water damaged furniture, exposed outlets. Kitchen had minimal supplies and exposed wiring throughout.

The room was essentially uninhabitable. For the price paid $1,600+ (breakfast cost separate), this was completely unacceptable. Multiple safety issues and false advertising make this place dangerous and dishonest.

Tried to contact them with Expedia. They refuse to speak with us or acknowledge the deplorable conditions of the place.

Save your money and stay literally anywhere else!

Pro: Excellent views; beautiful location close to a private beach. Excellent landscaping with local plants; room has a fully furnished private deck. Large room/suite with full kitchen, dining room and living room areas; pool; laundry. Close to shopping. Walk to both luxury and affordable restaurants and bars. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Con: plumbing and electrical need updating.
Overall: an excellent experience that was well worth the price.

I did not like the room as I thought it needed upgrading to 2024 standards. I had a lizard in my room and a few worms from outside. Modernization should rectify these problems,. new doors ,cupboards and bathrooms.

Rooms could use some updating and repairs; loose cabinet doors, fridge didn’t work, and a bit on the worn side. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet and was clearly not the original seat, as parts of the old one were still there and they just laid a new seat on top. I slid sideways and nearly fell on the floor the first time I tried to use it.

Staff were polite, but the restaurant and bar hours seem unpredictable, as they weren’t sure if they would be opening for dinner the evening we arrived, and there was no one to make us drinks at the bar by the pool. Eventually the chef showed up, which was good since we were at the end of our vacation and had planned to just have dinner and some drinks and relax. Too bad there wasn’t bar service all evening, as we would have like some cocktails while sitting by the pool. We would have spent more money for sure.

Overall our experience was not awful, but not great. It’s near Dr. Grooms Beach (about a 6-7 minute walk) which is nice and quiet, but because of the random and unpredictable bar and food service (and gigantic spider in the shower?) I don’t think I’d go back. The low price meant I didn’t have super high expectations, but lack of/unpredictable food and drinks are a dealbreaker for me.

Close to the airport, but quite remote. Good enough for an overnight in transit. AC and clean, but basic. There is a kettle and a fridge so you can bring supplies for a morning cuppa but they only provide instant coffee and sugar. There is a bar & restaurant, but no guests were using it while I was there. Very quiet. 10 minute walk to the airport or a $12 US cab ride.

I like the accessibility to the airport. The swimming pool is nice. Our room was not ready for us. The electric to the light switch, and tv was not on. Also the electric to make the water hot was not on and it was located outside the bathroom, which we found out later. There were no written instructions about this. Also one lamp did not work at all, and one of the lights above the bathroom sink did not work either. We had to \"set up\" the room ourselves. This was not acceptable for the price.

This was just what we were looking for. Priced right and close to our daughters apartment, SGU campus, and the airport. Very quiet area and 2 minutes walk to two secluded beaches and a 4 minute walk to the SGU bus route. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. Seems all beds in Grenada are on the firm side. Loved breakfast and enjoyed supper/drinks as well. Pool was refreshing. Check in/out was easy. Will definitely stay again.

I quarantined here for 2 days. The villas were big and spacious. However the white sheets and towels were no longer white;very dingy and there was loud music on property from about 9 an to about 10pm. It was crazy. Not a tranquil place at all. Couldn't wait to leave!

The room and the grounds were very nice! The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly both times we bought drinks they were not very good. Also there was work being done on the property that seemed to bring in a lot of other people and it really was not very private and quiet like we were expecting. So if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay I would not recommend this place, but if you don’t mind lots of people around and construction noises throughout the day then it is a nice place to stay.

We checked in after a long night. Fell asleep at 11pm and at 11:34 security stormed into our room. If the chain wasn’t on he would have walked in on us. The rest of the night he kept coming to our area. Phones in the room don’t work. Dogs across the street bark all night and the rooster is up at 5am for hours so zero sleep and scary night.

We had a short stop over due to the inconvenience of flight times onward by a different airline. Getting there was a short distance away from airport so chose it. Reception friendly. Left too early for breakfast. Had a walk to the beach but the narrow path felt unsafe. Pool was brilliant in the evening, as warm from the sun all day.
Accommodation was poor. No reception to let us know when our taxi was there.
Room overlooking the side road. Doors not locked outside of rooms. Light wasn’t working outside over the steep stairs and I slipped on the steps when leaving with my hand luggage and nearly catapulted over on my head.
Not worth the £85 paid.

The hotel is location is beautiful,was generally clean. The staff was helpful, however accessing staff via the front desk was difficult as there wasn't always someone there; had to go walking around to find the receptionist. The beds were hard, however the overall stay was adequate.

I’ve stayed at Grooms before and chose this for the proximity to the airport. Plus they’ve an in-house restaurant. Unfortunately it was closed by the time we check in at night so grabbed dinner at Punjabi nearby. But we did have a good breakfast the next morning before leaving for the airport. Room was tidy and AC worked well. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Bed could be a bit more comfy but it’s alright for the price.

The hotel was pretty good, but there was some attention to detail lacking. Admittedly it was out of season, but things like clear instructions as to how to use the TV controls, missing labels on the telephone, a single glass for two people and a slow breakfast service are all things that could be easily improved.

One of the biggest negatives was that the path to the beach was locked and going the long way around the paths were a bit overgrown, which encouraged numerous mosquitoes and meant that we didn't venture there a second time.

That having been said, everything else was fine and the staff showed the warmth and friendliness common to Grenadians.

There was NO ONE staying here. Pictures were way different than the rooms. I finally asked to switch when after a beach walk, (not a short walk as stated!! ) Our electricity did not work. The entire place was empty. I asked for a room closer to the pool and was told, since I booked with Expedia, only one other dirty ugly room was available.

The room is clean, spacious and well kept but a little dated. The staff is courteous and pool and bar are nice touch. The primary reason for the 3 star rating is our room, like most rooms, faced the pool bar area and we were blasted by the radio station playing Caribbean techno- pop all day. Not a problem at night because they mercifully turn off the radio at night.

Despoite checking with hotel that restaurant and bar would be open, it was closed when we arrived at dusk. room allocated was tiny, and flooded by leaking AC unit. Took 30 minutes to get alternative room allocated. This had unacceptable second bed in it - hard as rock. No help available for cases. We are both around 80 and have great difficulty without help. Decided to go elsewhere. WE REQUIRE 100% REFUND

Grooms is an excellent value. Tucked on a hill with easy walking access to a pair of gorgeous public beaches. Superb local staff. Nice pool, bar, restaurant. Bring earplugs for the neighborhood dogs, who tend to yap at any motion at night. But don't let that discourage you. Grooms is a flat-out winner.

The only positive things about this property: excellent dinner, very close to airport, friendly (but unreliable) staff. The negative: room was hot (the wall a/c barely put out any air), extremely noisy (animals of all kinds making noise all night, walls very thin), asked for extra pillows and wash cloths (there were none)- we were told “no problem” twice- never received them, bed was very uncomfortable, a/c was on the interior wall and leaked so badly we had to use pool towels to keep the floor dry. I could go on and on. Thank goodness we were only here for one night until we checked into the real resort!! If you literally are just looking for a bed, 4 walls, a shower and toilet, this might be for you! Never again!

I was ripped off. Paid $230/night. The few staff were friendly and polite, but very sparse. No food or beverage service. No chef, no bartender, no service. Rooms were clean, but had to go looking for towels. Had to hire a taxi to take us to the not so close market just to get sandwiches and a few beers. The local beach was fantastic, but had to walk about 5 minutes down a grubby, trashy trail. The place has great potential but appears to be severely understaffed. Certainly not worth the price. There are other places nearby I wish I had used.

The room was let down but a grubby shower and broken glass in one of the windows. The mosquito window guards were ripped and a lot of the louvers didn’t open. But apart from that he service was very friendly and breakfast was tasty and homemade.
The airport shuttle is actually a paid race which they can arrange for you which wasn’t the impression we had.

I would not consider this hotel a \"Beachfront Resort\". It is a small Hotel with a small distant, very partial ocean view. Staff very friendly and did respond to issues but was disappointed in our overall stay. Although the room was clean and spacious, it lacked many comforts and amenities as stated. Water pressure was very low, scarce warm water, room phone did not work, too many mosquitoes, air conditioner was not powerful and fan was noisy. Bare minimum toiletries. The bar & restaurant was not always available, most items on menu was not available. Short walk to beach but not as convenient. Wi-Fi was good.

Closer to the airport than the beach.

The taxi arrangements to get picked up from the airport did not happen. Even though I had an email confirmation that one would be there with my name or the hotel name on the sign. Apart from the non pick up arrangement the staff are accommodating and friendly. To get to Grand Anse you have to take a taxi. So have to factor in taxi fares for the day at the beach. There is a beach attached to the hotel but the route to the beach is not road worthy.

The room was pretty nice size. Had some issues with the A/C and they helped right away. Pool was nice. It would be nice to have a resteraunt there - did a creepy walk at night thru the jungle and too the beach to have dinner at LaLuna ( it was kinda fun!). It was really nice have a security guard there when the office closed. He even took us to the airport at 4am for our flight. Not a high priced resort but is close to the beach and the staff was nice.

Its not located close to other restaurants and shopping areas, the room was a bit smelly, leaking toilet. The bar never had a bartender during our 5 day stay. The chef comes at varying times so breakfast is always served late. The lunch wasnt tasty, but the breakfast was ok. The towels had lint. IT WAS THE WORSE PLACE TO STAY ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.

The main light in my room went out and no one responded to fix it for 2 days! Not to mention there was no phone to call the front desk. Housekeeping didnt have a key to the room so with no phone we basically had to yell out at a passing housekeeper from the balcony to get the trash emptied and clean towels. Toilet was hard to flush and then broke on the last day and flooded the bathroom. Sandra was the only helpful, pleasant person at the front desk who actually got things taken care of.
