The staff at Royalton were amazing! However the food left much to be desired 😕. Grenada is a beautiful island and Royalton offers a beautiful beach front and a 15 mins off from Grand Anse beach which is breath taking! We did have a lovely stay however the maintenance of the property to improve the standards is definitely required.

My room was clean. The power for the lights and fan kept dipping especially when I just arrived which was a bit concerning.
Staff was super nice and helpful. I tried using the app for chats with them which was cool but the app itself is so laggy and unintuitive.
Amenities were pretty good, my favourite was the gym and also the birdwatching area. Beaches were great but there were flies that bothered while sitting on the chairs - I guess that was due to rainy season. Also wish there were taps or showers when leaving the beach areas to head back in. These were provided only by the pools.
I think my most disliked thing and the reason for 4 stars is the food. It was terrible. I tried all the restaurants. The French and Indian were both horrid. The Italian was okay, the best of the three. The general buffet restaurant was ok. Food generally lacked flavour. While it's the ease of the all inclusive that appeals to me, I really wished at times I didn't and bought food outside.

This was our third time at the resort and noticed that the hotel seemed to be experiencing a shortage of supplies like no shampoo/ shower gel in the bathroom , only one towel set when there was 2 people in the room, not stocking the room fridge , running out of water bottles in the cafe, no beach towels. However staff did try their best with the limited resources available to them.
We had three rooms and checked out on 1st June but we were charged for not returning 2 room keys , even though I do remember the desk clerk cutting off all of our bands . I have tried to contact the hotel several times but have not received any message back from them or an invoice. This is a $300 USD charge

I would come back 20 more times because of their outstanding hospitality.

Hotel was beautiful, not a party hotel which is great to go relax and enjoy some R&R. Spa was great. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Rooms were great, clean with beautiful beach views depending on your room view. Breakfast was good, rest of the Food was ok. Restaurant by the pool was the best. Drinks were on point! Overall will recommend. 4/5 because again lunch and dinner was just ok.

Friendly staff and nice hotel but there were a few mishaps during the stay. Upon check in the room was not ready and took a long time for trolley to take us to the room. Upon entering the room we did not receive our room type which we paid extra on Expedia for and the fridge was not stock with beverages. We also did not have adequate amounts of towels and wash cloths. Everyday we had to ask for wash cloths after getting room serviced.
Under Expedia it state we were suppose to be assigned a personal concierge but did not receive one or get the perks of being an Expedia guest.

The staff at Royalton Grenada are the true gems of this hotel. I wasn’t impressed at all by the food at the buffet. It lacked taste and this is ironic seeing we were in spice island. Also there are no elevator services in this hotel so if you’re planning to go and you have knee problems I would suggest looking elsewhere. The entertainment wasn’t that bad most nights. Every staff member I came in contact with were amazingly friendly and polite. I would like also to make mention of ms Alena who made my room feel like heaven every day. A gentle and humble soul she is. The ladies and gents at the front desk were so helpful and welcoming every time we needed help. The wait staff in the buffet and the ladies in the cafe lounge were always friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to meet our needs. God bless and keep these lovely people always. Overall our stay was made comfortable by an incredible group of employees.

The location was great. The beach and pools were easily accessible and towels were available all over the property. The staff however, was extremely combative whenever an issue arose. I wish it was only on one occasion but we ran into several issues in our short two night stay. The staff was not quick to come up with resolutions but instead quick to say no and were quite rude about it. The food at the resort was far from desirable. We ordered room service twice, ate at the snack bar and the buffet. Our room service orders were missing items without notice. The portion sizes at the snack bar were incredibly small. The buffet was really the only semi okay meal and that was because there were at least options. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for your stay in Grenada after this trip. I wish it had been a better experience.

I enjoyed my stay at the Royalton Resort..
The staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and very gracious. The staff always said hello with a smile on their faces. I loved the amenities and throughout the resort there was always an adventure to be had. Loved the surrounding, my room was very clean. The food was great however I would had loved to see more of Greanda culture represented on the menu. More spices and culture dishes served. Oil down, roti etc.
I would recommend staying at the Royalton resort, I would definitely book another stay with this them!

We stayed at the Royalton for 4 days. We arrived at the hotel at 2PM and we were not given a room until 5PM. We were not offered any water or drinks and just had to wait in the lobby the entire time.
The bathroom was dirty and we had very long wait times for room service. The food was poor and the staff was okay.
Calling a buggy was not easy. They would only show up 2/10 times so we were forced to walk multiple times.
This experience is was very poor and we are very disappointed

Very clean and beautiful property. Our concierge Aaliyah made our stay and was amazing. We were celebrating birthdays and they made the day feel so special and helped to make special arrangements in the room. The only drawbacks was the food. There wasn’t much variety and it wasn’t terribly good for dinner. Breakfast was great. The other issue was service on the beach which was nonexistent. We expected to have some service on the beach but we only saw someone once and got a drink. Also the bars closed really early. The beach strip was beautiful and peaceful though. The staff did go above and beyond to make you feel special and everyone was so friendly. Also felt extremely safe on the property. Overall, the property was clean and stay very enjoyable.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the grounds were well maintained. Prior to my arrival, I asked to have an extra set of sheets and pillow cases in my room. When I arrived the sheets and pillow cases were not there. At 6pm, the bell person called and asked to have them sent to my room. At 7pm, I called and reminded the staff that I was still waiting for the sheets. I had to go to the front desk at 8pm and the sheets didn't arrive until 8:30pm. Having an extra set of sheets and pillowcases is a major part of routine when in a hotel, so not having these things made it very difficult for me to get settled in. i also noticed that the room was very moist and had a weird smell. I had the same experience at the Royalton in St.Lucia, so I didn't report it to the front desk.
The food was the most disappointing part of the stay. There were limited food options in the buffet. It would have been nice to have local Grenadian food options available. The grill station was never on, but food was placed near the grill cold and unappetizing. The specialty restaurants were difficult to get reservations but when I arrived the space was empty. More effort needs to be placed on improving the food quality, taste, and choices. The desserts were bland and stale.

I travel frequently and stay in a large number of hotels every year, including luxury and lifestyle properties. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
I specifically chose this property because of its Autograph Collection affiliation and expected a level of service and quality consistent with that brand. Upon arrival just before 3:00 PM, I was informed my room was not ready. After confusion surrounding a room upgrade & multiple delays, I did not gain access to my room until approximately 8:00 PM.
The issues continued throughout the stay. On multiple nights, I was awakened by excessive noise from neighboring rooms at various hours of the night & early morning. I repeatedly requested assistance and was told I would be accommodated in another room. I even advised the hotel that if they could not guarantee a quiet room, I would prefer to move to another property. Despite these conversations and assurances, no meaningful solution was ever provided.
Adding to the frustration, there were two occasions late at night when neither the front desk nor emergency line answered the phone. Because I have an injured foot, I was forced to walk a considerable distance to the front desk for assistance, which further aggravated my injury. More importantly, it raised serious concerns about guest safety should a legitimate emergency occur.
The rooms are also dirty and not well maintained. I don't recommend this hotel and advise Marriott to remove the autograph name.

I must say I was very disappointed with my stay at this Royalton property. I have stayed at two other Royalton resorts in the past and had positive experiences, so I did not think it was necessary to read reviews before booking. Unfortunately, I was greatly mistaken. I booked my stay along with five friends, who each reserved their own rooms. Out of all of us, I believe only two were satisfied with their accommodations. Considering the price we paid, the experience was far below expectations. Upon arriving at my room, I was shocked to find that it looked nothing like the photos advertised on the website. The images were very misleading. I have stayed in motels that were in better condition. My bed was poorly made and looked as though someone had already been lying in it before my arrival. Thankfully, while I was on my way to the front desk to complain, I was approached by a staff member named Errol. After I explained the situation, he personally brought fresh linens and properly remade the bed. His professionalism and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the room was also not properly cleaned. The floors were dirty, and overall housekeeping standards appeared to be lacking. The food was another disappointment. While there were some decent meals earlier in the trip, the buffet food during the last three days of our stay was not good at all.

The Royalton Grenada was a beautiful resort, but the rooms were underwhelming. I booked a suite with a pullout sofa. However, upon arrival, my room had a roll away bed and a visibly broken sofa bed. When you sat on the sofa, it made the loudest creaking sound. In addition, the balcony door was broken and malfunctioning. These issues were brought to the attention of management and the door was remedied, but it took a few days for the bed to be corrected.

The resort itself was beautiful, but the initial experience did taint the overall excitement.

There was absolutely nothing I liked about this resort. Food was terrible. Staff not very helpful. Cleaning staff don’t trust. The rooms are beyond out dated. No change of bedding in my 5 day stay. Lack of cleanliness, asked for wash cloths, those were not available. Good luck with making reservations to any restaurant and actually having anything available on the menu which is already limited. Absolute bad experience would NOT recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at this resort, the staff was accommodating, the property was beautiful, the food and drinks was great. There are no elevators but you are accommodated with rides to and from your room and throughout the property when needed. The airport is literally 5 minutes down the road, that was a major plus. Room service is included in your stay, only thing I would suggest is that you order early because it can take an hour or more to come. All and all this is a beautiful resort and im sure my family and I will be back!

Overall a good hotel at a great location and only 10 mins from the airport but without the noise. Beach excellent. Staff were excellent and very friendly, food was adequate but not as bigger choice as some other Royalton's we've been to. Evening entertainment was not inspiring and pretty boring. Biggest issue we encountered was the lack of room and beach towels on a few of the days and the hotel was not that full. Found trips and taxis quite expensive but that is the same throughout most of the Carribean islands.

At times the Diamond Club staff wasn't so accommodating. I feel like it made sense to just get a regular room as there were no major differences in the Diamond Club package outsode of alcohol options and the swim out. My reveiw was based on a diamond club booking. Rooms were cleaned daily... however our room needs a deep clean especially around the doors and corners. Secondly buffet was basic and repetitive, especially at breadfast... now the staff was amazing at no time i feel any way to ask for something the entire staff was amazing and accommodating. The beach and outside areas was always cleaned.. drinks was never ending. The hotel itself was clean but it on a hill/mountain so it a climb in some areas.they do have buggy to take you around. Would I return.. definitely!

The resort had great amenities... staff at the bars and front desk weren't the friendliest, it felt like you were bothering them when asking for a drink or questions. Staff at the restaurants, amenities, housekeeping and bell boys were very nice. Room wasnt as luxurious as pictured and could do with an upgrade but was clean. There was alot to do at the property and entertainment available on evenings. Food and desserts were good. Drink cocktails were satisfactory.

Upon arrival after 3pm we still had to wait for our room. When we finally got in we had no toiletries in the shower It took 2 days to totally fix this problem. The food was average and repetitive at the buffet. The location is nice and the snorkeling very good. Staff was cheerful. Some of the servers were very good other not so much. We had a group of 40 for a week for a family wedding on the property. Everything was wonderful! The property was beautiful & well kept. The staff was amazing - courteous, friendly, helpful,... We all had the time of our lives. We all booked excursions through the desk in the lobby and every experience was top notch. I heard no complaints from anyone in our group. We tried all of the restaurants and the food & service was great. Highly recommend Grazi for Italian!

We had a really enjoyable stay at Royalton Grenada and would definitely consider coming back. One of the highlights for us was the swim-out pool—it made the whole experience feel more private and relaxing, and it was perfect for starting or ending the day without having to go far.

The butler service was another standout. Our butlers were not only friendly but also very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. They were easy to communicate with and added a nice personal touch to the trip.

Food and drinks were solid overall. While not extraordinary, there was enough variety to keep things interesting, and we always found something we liked. The drinks were consistently good and easy to access, which definitely helped enhance the vacation vibe.

The beach view from our room was beautiful and something we appreciated every day. Waking up to that scenery really set the tone for a relaxing getaway.

One thing worth noting is how close the resort is to the airport—about a 5-minute drive. Transportation cost us $12 one way, which was convenient and quick after a long travel day. Despite the proximity, we didn’t hear or see a single plane during our stay, which was a pleasant surprise and didn’t take away from the relaxing atmosphere at all.

Overall, Royalton Grenada delivered a great balance of comfort, service, and atmosphere. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a laid-back, enjoyable resort experience with a few standout perks like swim-out p

Prior to arrival there was an email sent by guest services that asked for specifics of the trip, on arrival nothing requested was received.
Wrong room type. Female staff was not the most helpful and had odd attitudes.
Room service was horrible - orders were always wrong and took longer over an hour.
The food options were limited at nibbles bar. Reservations needed to be made 2 days prior for some of the restaurants on property and they were not open every night. Very inconvenient for an all inclusive.
There was no compensation or attempt to assist from staff to resolve room issues or restaurant problems.

While the staff at the security, front desk, spa and the cafe was very friendly and helpful, the overall experience was very mediocre. There was not much to do, only two pools on site. They have 4 restaurants on site, one which is open every day the other reservations need to be made. As a vegetarian the options were very limited, and sometimes asking to be accommodated on the meals was not met by the staff. The food was ok, the rooms was clean, but the general area around the rooms had items lying around.

Took over one hour 30 min to check in. Food was terrible. Room service had very limited options, took long and sometimes forgot to deliver order. Chicken at the lunch buffet was served with feathers on it. Staff appeared to be nonchalant about issues raised. They offered a romantic dinner to passify but no one came to take us to the dinner dispite calling and front desk and informing that we were dressed and ready. Total disaster. Quite a disappointing experience for a brand that claims to be luxurious.

I am extremely disappointment regarding my recent stay. I originally booked a Suite for my family of four. However, upon arrival, I was placed in a one-bedroom suite that lacked a door for the shower section, providing no privacy.

My room category was downgraded without my knowledge or consent. Despite this, the hotel has maintained its non-refundable policy and kept my entire payment. This is especially frustrating as I was assured by the manager that I would receive a refund for the discrepancy.

Furthermore, the property had a significant mosquito issue, and there appeared to be a complete lack of coordination regarding bookings and reservations. I expected much better service from a hotel chain of this magnitude.

Beware of this hotel. It’s a complete bait and switch. Would never recommend or stay here again.

The staff was amazing! The resort was beautiful! We enjoyed everything except the buffet food which was bland and cold. The Italian restaurant was delicious. Our room was nice but the shower leaked so the paint in the entryway was peeling and kind of smelled like mildew at the end of the day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The beach itself was not the nicest, and unfortunately the experience inside the resort did not make up for it. All of the rooms smelled very humid and the AC in our room was not working properly, which made the stay quite uncomfortable.

We specifically paid extra for a beach view room, but what we received was an obstructed view instead. That was very frustrating, especially considering the price.

The food was also very disappointing. The restaurants were nearly impossible to book. They only have three restaurants and they close one each day, which leaves the others completely booked. Even when we finally managed to get a reservation, the food and experience were no better than the buffet.

To make matters worse, the staff was not particularly welcoming or helpful throughout the stay.

Overall, this was not the experience we expected. During our trip we visited Silversands, and the difference was very noticeable. Silversands is a beautiful property with a stunning beach and a much nicer overall atmosphere. That will definitely be where I choose to stay next time.

The spa was nice. All the staff throughout the resort were friendly, they ensured they greeted you and asked if you needed anything. Tanisha from the Kids Club was so nice and welcoming to our toddler. The food could have been better (ants were found on bread & a drink I ordered, hair was found in food and on plates, glasses were dirty). The restaurants that require reservations didn’t offer much variety. Fridge room was not cold. Sodas/juices were watered down in the buffet. A big bug (what looked like a big roach) was spotted in the theater area. I didn’t like that the resort was kid friendly but the restaurant didn’t offer plastic cups for kids in the dining area. There was a couple times we ordered from Nibles and Room Service and the food was either cold or incorrect. The pools was regular, nothing fancy; there was a splash pad for kids. Not too much entertainment during the day. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to something a little special on that day like Riu did for my birthday but I returned to 1 balloon on my door. I thought it was cute that at arrival their was a sash on the door that said HBD though. I got a massage which was nice and relaxing. But it started 25 mins late. Overall, personally I wouldn’t return to this resort again. But it’s not the worst.
