The staff was amazing! The resort was beautiful! We enjoyed everything except the buffet food which was bland and cold. The Italian restaurant was delicious. Our room was nice but the shower leaked so the paint in the entryway was peeling and kind of smelled like mildew at the end of the day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The beach itself was not the nicest, and unfortunately the experience inside the resort did not make up for it. All of the rooms smelled very humid and the AC in our room was not working properly, which made the stay quite uncomfortable.

We specifically paid extra for a beach view room, but what we received was an obstructed view instead. That was very frustrating, especially considering the price.

The food was also very disappointing. The restaurants were nearly impossible to book. They only have three restaurants and they close one each day, which leaves the others completely booked. Even when we finally managed to get a reservation, the food and experience were no better than the buffet.

To make matters worse, the staff was not particularly welcoming or helpful throughout the stay.

Overall, this was not the experience we expected. During our trip we visited Silversands, and the difference was very noticeable. Silversands is a beautiful property with a stunning beach and a much nicer overall atmosphere. That will definitely be where I choose to stay next time.

The spa was nice. All the staff throughout the resort were friendly, they ensured they greeted you and asked if you needed anything. Tanisha from the Kids Club was so nice and welcoming to our toddler. The food could have been better (ants were found on bread & a drink I ordered, hair was found in food and on plates, glasses were dirty). The restaurants that require reservations didn’t offer much variety. Fridge room was not cold. Sodas/juices were watered down in the buffet. A big bug (what looked like a big roach) was spotted in the theater area. I didn’t like that the resort was kid friendly but the restaurant didn’t offer plastic cups for kids in the dining area. There was a couple times we ordered from Nibles and Room Service and the food was either cold or incorrect. The pools was regular, nothing fancy; there was a splash pad for kids. Not too much entertainment during the day. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to something a little special on that day like Riu did for my birthday but I returned to 1 balloon on my door. I thought it was cute that at arrival their was a sash on the door that said HBD though. I got a massage which was nice and relaxing. But it started 25 mins late. Overall, personally I wouldn’t return to this resort again. But it’s not the worst.

Check-in was extremely slow and our room wasn't ready, had to wait 2 hrs, it was past 6pm before we had our room. Once in our room our luggage wasn't in our room, had to call to get our suitcase with more wait time. Very frustrating after a long day of travel. Hotel seems to have a lack of personnel.

Overall, the property was clean and well kept, the rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, the food can use improvement. I stayed at the resort with family and we felt that options at the buffet were limited. In addition, some items were \"hit or miss\" in that some food items were good but others were not. There are three speciality restaurants but I could only get reservations for two, which were the indian and french restaurants. The food at the indian restaurant was not good and requires vast improvement. The french restaurant was good. The cafe had a nice selection of ice creams and deserts. If you do get to try the nutmeg ice cream do it cause it's delicious. Overall a good stay but food needed improvement.

Staff was mostly nice. Some seemed like we were interrupting their day. The resort was sold to us with having a pool table (we love to play pool) but when we asked we had to be a Diamond member & that's if it was in our Diamond room (??), The Royalton app didn't work properly (some days the circle said you were on Wednesday but the top said Thursday. The events were scheduled but not sure where to find them as there was not a location on most or when you showed up there was nothing happening. Pool exercises were great and team there was great too! We came in on Saturday but couldn't get housekeeping unless we asked for it?? We finally asked on Tuesday & got it on Wednesday. We did try all the specialty restaurants; they were good, but the buffet lacked foods-we tried foods we didn't even know what they were because the labels next to them were wore off and unreadable. Fitness area was great! We probably won't revisit this particular spot in future. Loved the sun & clean pool waters!

Anytime I had to deal with any staff. I felt like I was bothering them … the App to make dinner reservations was not working. And anytime I tried to make reservations in person at the front desk or at the restaurant I was told. It HAD to be done on the app. But the app was not working. So I was told I had to miss out ! For my 4 day stay. I could NOT Eat at Any of the restaurants. We arrived at the hotel at 3:30. Check-in is 3:00. Our room was not even ready until 4:00. Than we had to wait 20 mins for a cart to take us to our room. When I went to book an excursion. I was told it was totally booked until Saturday. This was not true …. My daughter went to the desk when the next person came. And was able to book the excursion for Anyday. Anytime I have never encountered a staff. That just “didn’t care” at all about there guests. The property was so beautiful and clean. But the service was terrible. I would never go back.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were pleasant. Gorgeous beach and not crowded. Our only complaint was that there was a large group staying there and they took all the slots for the specialty restaurants. We had to eat at the buffet every night, which was only okay. If they can accommodate that big of a group, they should also be able to accommodate the other guests in the specialty restaurants too.

I would just say the swim up pools as I stayed in 20-102 could use a heater as the sun does not heat the pool like the two big main ones. But then again I came in January so summertime maybe different.

We really liked this hotel ,first the room was nice,clean and in good condition. Everything worked and nothing was broken. The hotel is built on a small mountain with many different levels. The food was good but there was not enough choices and somewhat repetitive. The dessert portions were much too big which led to waste. The staff were generally very polite and would ask you about your day. Getting a place at the beach was never a problem. The only thing was that a real pain was trying to get a reservation in one of their a la carte restaurants. Not the best system.

It was very disappointing that the rooms was so dusty and had a musty smell throughout the stay, the pillos had mildew on the case covering, the customer service was very forced and was not service with a smile as you would normally expect. I came with a wedding party with approximately 40 persons who shared smililar views. There was no reservations for restaurants available simply because we came in on the weekend, why isnt there an option to pre book as other reputable resorts offer? Staff refused a guest a glass if water because they were closing at 6 but it was 5.45. its safe to say neither my family or myself will attend this resort again. Unfortunately members of the greater public will hear about this experience not just from one dissatisfied customer but from the overall party by and large. Regards

We booked Diamond Club service but it is not worth it at this property. Although our butler team were lovely and friendly, management changed, limited and restricted the permitted services part way through our trip without explanation and adequate communication. In our first 4 days, our butlers were unable to secure any reservations at specialty restaurants. Butlers were not able to book reservations for the week although this was previously allowed, so we were often left without reservations. On arrival, the buffet had run out of food by 7:30 pm and a staff member stuck their ungloved finger in a hotdog and put it on my plate. No food was ever served hot, everything always arrived cold or tepid. We had reservations cancelled and most of the menu was unavailable. We were also seated for a 7:30 reservation at 9:30. New Year’s Eve, everything was an upsell and there wasn’t enough food. Most of the staff are super friendly but those that aren’t, have the bigger impact. One Diamond Club front desk employee was. consistently rude and unhelpful. We asked to speak to the resort manager several times and she never contacted us and avoided us for our entire stay. One of our rooms was damp and mouldy. One of our rooms had a leaking sink that was not repaired and couldn’t be used. We often didn’t get clean towels or soap even when we requested them. We had things stolen from our beach chairs. We will not stay at this Royalton again and do not recommend it to anyone.

The Royalton Resort Grenada markets itself as a “five-star” property, but what we experienced was barely three-star service at best, and that’s being generous.
The problems started immediately with check-in, which took over four hours. Reception repeatedly told us our room would be “ready soon,” a claim they recycled for the entire four-hour wait. Not once did they offer transparency, alternatives, compensation, or even a sincere apology. We were left sitting in the lounge area the entire time, essentially forgotten, while being actively misled. For a resort that charges premium prices, this level of disorganization and disregard is unacceptable.
When we finally reached our room, it was clear that “five-star” was just a marketing label. Amenities like soap, hair dryer, and shampoo were missing, the sofa bed was broken, and bathroom outlets did not function: basic issues that should never go unresolved in a luxury resort. These are not minor inconveniences; they are fundamental failures of maintenance and quality control.
The dining experience was equally disappointing. Every restaurant, every night, had multiple menu items unavailable, regardless of whether we were the first or last seating. This was a consistent pattern, not bad luck. Even worse, the New Year’s Eve set menu did not match what was advertised, with dishes either altered or entirely absent. For a special-occasion menu at a luxury resort, this is both misleading and unprofessional. Adding insult to injury

The walkout beachfront room is amazing. Building 15 was perfect location to everything and still right on the beach. Drinks were very good. We enjoyed the massage services and Royalton fit had many daily activities and classes and the gym was spotless. A very relaxed/quiet vibe.

1. Room was not ready at 3pm, we were sent to a beach bar in our sweaters, they were supposed to text when room was ready and no one texted. We wasted 1.5 hours until we went to front desk to ask about the room (and I paid for this room in advance).
2. Room coffee machine wasn’t working, called to fix no one helped
3. Been trying to order coffee from room service in the morning - takes 1 hour plus to deliver
4. Group of rowdy individuals been super loud and active from 2 to 4/5 am every night - unable to sleep
5. Fire detector has flashing lights that are super bright in the middle of the night
6. No one told us at checking that we need to make reservations for diners, so we missed making a reservation for the first night which was Friday. Saturday all specialty restaurants were closed and we ended up going into town and pay extra.
7. Took 1 whole day to replenish the mini bar with waters - we had to go to a bar to get drinking water.
8. Asked for iron and ironing board and was told that we can get clothes ironed complimentary, I asked it to be done within an hour because we needed that clothes for dinner reservations. We got this back 4 hours later and of course we had to wear something else to dinner which was very frustrating.

Had to ask multiple times to have my room cleaned. When they said they cleaned the room they didn’t they just fixed the bed and did not give clean sheets. My room was considerably hotter than the other rooms and I notified them and nothing was done. I requested an iron and ironing board and never received it. I asked for hand soap and never received it. My fridge did not get stocked for days. The spa was amazing and so was the beach and pool. I had an incident where the staff said I was not dressed “resort casual” wearing a crop top and long full coverage pants. I asked her to explain she said nevermind and let me in. I then saw women in bikinis allowed to come in without request to coverup.

This resort was truly beautiful!! The staff was generally kind. Dontee, Dominique, & Joshua all greatly added to my experience along with many other staff. Unfortunately, Siobhan & Christine were not pleasant upon my arrival at the resort. I was very displeased with their service and lack of care to my room not being available at the 3pm check in time.

However, Dontee jumped in and helped make the remainder of my experience pleasurable. Especially Dominique in assisting in coordinating my food options on and off the resort!

The first room that was given to us smelt badly of damp we were then moved to another room and that too smell of damp.
The bedroom wasn’t as luxurious as expected. The room was not serviced and had no towels we had to call for service to get some towels and it was serviced the next day.However the communal areas are excellent the buffet breakfast is exceptional with lots of choices. The same for dinner/supper. There is also lots of snacks the opened bar make your stay much more relaxing.the individual restaurant like the Indian, French and Italian, get booked up pretty quickly.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my wife and I experienced during our stay at the Royalton from October 17–20, 2025. The issues we encountered fell far below the standards expected of your brand.
1. Check-In Delays and Poor Communication
Upon arriving at 8:30 a.m. on October 17, we were told our room would be ready in two hours. However, after multiple follow-ups, we were repeatedly misinformed and ultimately told to return at 3:00 p.m. The lack of accurate communication of the front desk staff were both unprofessional and frustrating.
2. Transportation Arrangement Failure
On October 19, I arranged through the front desk for a 4:00 a.m. taxi and a 3:45 a.m. buggy on our departure day. Neither arrived. We had to carry our luggage ourselves, only to discover no taxi had been booked—leaving us stranded and anxious about missing our flight. This was a serious lapse in organization and guest care.
3. Delayed Release of Credit Card Hold
Although I was told the credit card hold would be released within 24 hours of checkout, it was not cleared until November 4—over two weeks later—despite multiple follow-ups. This delay caused unnecessary inconvenience.
These repeated service failures raise serious concerns about the professionalism and reliability of the Royalton brand. I respectfully request an explanation and appropriate action to address these issues.

Extremely disappointing experience. My flight was canceled, and when I notified the hotel, they still charged a no-show fee. Spent hours being redirected between the hotel and Marriott about adding a guest—each blaming the other and trying to charge an extra $400. Ended up rebooking through Expedia, which was cheaper, but the room was dirty, lights didn’t work, and the “all-inclusive” amenities were minimal (2 beers, 4 waters, 4 sodas). The staff was unhelpful and took no accountability. I would not stay here again.

My experience. I have mobility issues. While getting to the room upon check-in was fine, as i used the shuttle, waiting for the shuttle daily was tiring. Walking to dining room or beach area required me going down 2 levels, 27 stairs. I tried to bring everything with me one time cause I didn't want to make a second trip.
I was not a fan of the food in the dining room. I happened to meet one of the chefs who said he'd make anything I wanted. I asked for roasted veggies, fried plantain and salmon. He sent it to my room. While the fish looked funny, it tasted ok. I was sick, vomiting and diarrhea for 2 and half days of a 7 day trip. Nurse wanted me to get an IV. I declined. When I could manage, I got some Pepto Bismal. Thank God I had brought some plantain chips and ginger tea with me.
Upon my return and after many tests, my doctors advised that I obtained parasites either from the fish or the water.
I must also mention, while the room was ok, it was not what i had requested. As I was traveling solo, I wanted 1 king. I received 2 queens and my room was an adjoining room. Evidently, the walls must be thin, as the couple next door were,...I'll say, very much in love. Thank God for earphones. I slept with them and music to drown out the nights activities next door.
I had never visited my dad's land and I wanted to see Grenada. I will return but most likely, another hotel.

This was a rough summer starting with this trip. I am only now starting to feel more like myself again.

The spa, beach amenities, and gym were amazing — the facilities and staff exceeded my expectations. The all-you-can-eat buffet was okay, and I especially loved the omelet station. However, some items like jelly and mimosas were unavailable upon request. Unfortunately, the hotel rooms were disappointing. Both rooms (15204 and 16203) had severe condensation and a musty odor. I reported the issue immediately after check-in, but the front desk ignored my complaint. On October 23rd, I contacted Expedia, who reached out to the resort. Only then were we moved to another room, which had the same problems. I have photos showing the condensation and mold. We stayed under these conditions since leaving Grenada wasn’t easy due to limited flights. I hope this helps future travelers make an informed decision.

When I booked, the room was listed as ocean view, but the reality didn’t match the online photos or expectations. My view overlooked the roof of another building, with the ocean visible only beyond that.

The resort itself was quite dull — there was no music or daytime entertainment. If you’re looking for total peace and quiet with nothing much going on, this would be the place. However, if you’re looking for fun and energy, it’s definitely lacking, but he beach at the hotel was nice/relaxing

The food was disappointing and repetitive. They served almost the same meals every day during my stay (Friday to Tuesday), and the presentation wasn’t appealing. Evening entertainment wasn’t much better — karaoke, trivia, and a fire-tossing act that quickly became repetitive.

We ended up renting a car to explore and find some nightlife, but even off the resort, there wasn’t much excitement. The few clubs we found were underwhelming.

That said, the island itself is beautiful — the natural scenery is stunning, even if the atmosphere is quiet. We visited Anse Beach and had a nice meal at a beachfront restaurant there. We also went to Annandale River, which was scenic though the water was quite cold. Junction and a couple of other popular clubs were just okay, but we did find one restaurant (I can’t recall the name) where the food was excellent — easily the best meal we had on the trip.

One highlight was meeting a local coconut vendor whose warm personality and charisma truly stood out.

Absolutely loved the experience.
Indian, Italian, and French restaurant all exceptional. My favorite was French with the flank steak.

Room view and beach great I will return next year.

Staff I loved them all! I’m so sorry I didn’t take pics of the name tags but all friendly and helpful.

At check in, it took them 3.5 hours to give me a room. Then gave me the wrong room and had to go back to the lobby with my luggages and wait for another room. I finally got a room but the TV and phone wasn’t working so I had to call front desk. On the second day of my stay, the walls started having black dots which were mold and saw a leak on ceiling near the tv. The walls have been wet throughout my stay which made the floor get wet. Some of the staff were great but this is unacceptable. My worst experience with Royalton and to make it worse I came with a group of 33 people and some of them had issues with the room they paid for. Some of us had standard, ocean view and diamond club.

Report is nice but very spread out. Clean up took too long. There is no reason breakfast plates or any plates after dining once left outside on the floor by the door take 5 hours to get picked up. People should walk round every hour or 2 to collected the dirty plates and utensils. Room service took was to long. 2 to 3 hours. One time it took so long i forgot i even ordered. But food provided in the Diamond Club lounge was great.

My recent stay at the all-inclusive resort was disappointing. The food options were mostly American-based and of poor quality, with limited offerings that related the local island cuisine. This was particularly disappointing, as I was hoping to experience authentic dishes from the area.

While most staff were pleasant, I did have a negative encounter in the dining area. I was asked to leave because I wasn't wearing a cover over my bathing suit-even though several other guest were dressed similarly and were not approached. I felt singled out, embarrassed and disrespected. To make matters worse, the staff members refused to serve me while I was eating.

Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations I had for an all-inclusive resort, especially given the lack of authentic food and inconsistent treatment by some of the staff. I will NOT stay at this resort when I return to Grenada.

My room smelled of mold. Called front desk about. They did absolutely nothing. Spoke to Levron not sure I’m spelling his name right.

The food was very disappointing same bland food everyday. Room service never had anything listed. The bar did not have premium liquor readily available.
I stayed in a diamond club room. Had to ask and negotiate for things which suppose to be given.
Grenada is beautiful but definitely won’t stay at Royalton again the worst experience at a resort.

I was placed in a room that had no view of anything . Upon checking in i was told i would get added benefits based on booking through expedia. That turned out not to be the case . I traveled for a conference at the hotel. On checking out the room i noticed there was no iron or steamer. This made it impossible to iron my business suit. I equested an iron and was told there was none available but they would iron four pieces of clothes complementary . I was told someone would collect the clothes but no one did. I attended the first day of the comference ij wrinkled clothing . I tried several times to use the phone only to discpver it did not work. The next morning i tried to make coffee and discovered the coffee maker did not work. I took a shower and only half of the rainfall shower head acrually ran water. I hated the location of the room as there was a hill at the front and at the back. I also did not feel like the room was properly cleaned as there was dust in the corner . The first day i got no lumch as the buffet ran out of food. I managed to survive on some slices of water melon. Day two was hardly better and they again ran out of food during lunch. The food was bland and not what would be expected of a place known for its spices . I paid more than the pther conference attendees by booking through expedia just for the benefits . There was no expedia champion as promised until the third day and he was useless. I managed to get a decent meal only after leaving th hotel.

The property was good and I love the access to the beacon.i did not have a room with view. I had a partial garden view obstructed my the roof.

Room we booked was not available when we got there so had to stay in a different room our first evening.
The property was very well maintained and clean.
All the workers were polite and friendly.
We were not fans of the buffet but were pleased with the offerings at the specialty restaurants.

The spa was really relaxing. The excursions team was very helpful and accommodating. The coffee shop was the best. Everything hit. There water sports was really really fun. I did kayaking, something with a sail boat and snorkeling.

Property is well maintained and ALL staff were courteous and seemed to really care about guests. Beach was a bit rocky and had continuous waves but the water is wonderfully clean.
