The location is perfect. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

The room was spotless however I would have preferred to have blackout curtains as the sunlight woke me up quite early. The bed was comfortable and my room was quite spacious!

Room was spacious and well appointed, exceeding my expectations by a wide margin. Grounds were clean, well kept, and chock full of fun activities to take up the day however I saw fit. Finally and best, the staff was warm, friendly, and took the time to get to know me, alway ready to greet me with my favorite drink or activity. A particularly special shout out to my friends down at the water sports area, rum shop, and dodgy dock, who really went out of the way to make my stay memorable.

Nice feel to the resort with several separate 2 story builds scattered over the complex. Plenty of pools and alittle beach front. Alot of diving classes available. 10 minute walk towards the college for a variety of food stalls. Not the best location for beach and water quality. Feel bus shuttle to BBC beach.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming which went a long way to make up for the suite we booked being unavailable; ended up in an Ocean Front suite which worked fine for two adults and a child; room was clean. Would stay again just for the free yoga classes as class was fantastic and overlooks the ocean. The beachfront pool has a small water slide and cute bar. Lots of places to sit and read a book with a drink in hand. Location is good and close to everything and easy to get a taxi.

I had an enjoyable stay! The staff was very attentive, pleasant, and helpful. Big shoutout to the front desk staff who took very could care of me by offering solutions, recommendations, directions, etc. I called several times and they promptly and pleasantly responded each and every time. Also, housekeeping did an outstanding job each day and quickly at that. Very clean property.

Dodgy dock Wednesday night was so much fun! I wish they offered the same experience more than once a week.

Suggestions:
1.) Add hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing and towels.

2.) Add a shelf under or beside the bathroom sink to store tolietry bags and products. The counter space wasn’t nearly enough

3.) Spray the room for mosquitoes before check-in. I had quite a few and got bitten a lot before calling to have it managed.

The hot tub jets do not work. The front desk said they knew , but didn’t mention it. The room overall was very large and nice.
The biggest issue is the “street food” night at the restaurant on Wednesday nights. This is primarily open to the public. The music was so loud and with so much bass it shook the windows in our room. The music played like that until 0100!!(1 AM) We are not old folks who don’t like to party, but that is a little excessive . Especially with an island where the sunsets at 5:30 and you would like to have a full day without sleeping in .

I've stayed many times at True Blue and as usual the staff are very warm, friendly and accommodating. Wednesday night Street Food was fab- and I was surprised to see the PM of Grenada in attendance! Loved the steel pan music too on Tuesday night.

Though breakfast was nice-it would have been good to have a varied menu each day-or after a few days- instead of the same oh, same oh every morning.....except for the lovely local teas-which varied every morning. Thanks for the Cinnamon teas and the local Cocoa/Hot chocolate.
I was extremely grateful when staff graciously accommodated me and made some hot chocholate without sugar- to meet my personal preference.

I think the price is right and the location is very convenient to visiting students at SGU. I would and will stay here again as the views are lovely and the room was very spacious. It’s not fancy but it was clean and the staff were nice. If I paid more I would expect more. I would categorize it as a typical Caribbean hotel. There are areas in disrepair but it doesn’t affect your stay. If you are looking to stay close to the university I think it’s the best spot. If you are looking for a beach vacation this isn’t your spot. It was fine, I cannot lie and say I was blown away by anything, it was average but convenient. We had no problems, felt safe and it was all fine. It’s just not a five star property but I don’t believe it claims to be. If I was diving I would %100 stay here. I do appreciate the properties community contributions and look forward to visiting again for that reason.

Literally, the housekeeping staff would knock on our door in the morning and take all of our towels and not replace them. Our towels would be gone all day long and finally late in the afternoon we would call and ask for towels back and they’d begrudgingly give us more towels. Housekeeping also wouldn’t sweep the rooms or empty our trash unless prompted to do so and they were supposed to clean the rooms every day. The lower pool was dirty and cloudy. Some of the staff members had an attitude as if we were bothering them when we asked them for food or drink. It definitely was not worth the high price that we paid to stay there. If you feel compelled to stay here, negotiate the price down because it definitely is not worth the money, especially when you can’t even get a towel.

Comfortable, beautiful views from the room and its covered deck as well as breakfast on the bay. Pools and poolside bar were relaxing. Yoga studio and views as well as chocolate cafe added to the experience. Very close to St. George university for the purpose of the visit——seeing my niece and her vet school life on Grenada!

We stayed here for a few nights, having enjoyed a lunch here
last year. Our Tower Room was beautifully presented and well-equipped. AC quiet and efficient, with an added ceiling fan. The bed was extremely comfortable and guaranteed a good nights sleep. The hotel site is clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and courteous, especially Devenne. The restaurant served fresh local food at all three meals. Courtesy transport to the beach was much appreciated. Cannot recommend True Blue too highly and will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, well maintained property. Staff is friendly and the front desk is helpful. Getting fresh towels can sadly be a lengthy chore, but the beautiful and peaceful surroundings easily make up for it.
We took advantage of the free shuttle to the beach and I really enjoyed the classes offered in the beautiful open air yoga studio. We also really enjoyed just spending time by the pools on the property.
The food was good and the Wednesday night street food is a really fun event that brings in a lot of locals as well. Loved all the life music. Highly recommended!

I wished they had more frequent shuttles to grand Anse and also a shuttle to the airport would be good PR. They are very close to the airport.
I stayed for 4 nights and my checkout time was noon (not 11:00). I asked for a late check out for 1pm and was told for 60$ USD I could. I would not pay that for an extra hour so I didn’t do it. I did however notice that at 1 pm the housekeeper was still 3 doors down.
I needed a room change on my second day for multiple reasons and they were fairly good about that. They seamed to need to ensure availability (which is reasonable) and asked me to come back in an hour, which I did, and the room was granted. Once I moved to the new unit, I noticed that almost all the units were empty my entire stay. Strange but I didn’t say anything, just thought it odd.
The staff were ok, hit and miss.
The place is quite colourful and clean. The hot breakfast was quite nice. Entertainment was great at the Dodgy Dock.
I couldn’t get a “hi” out of the Aquanaught staff. I’m a diver and I knew I didn’t want to dive with such unfriendly people so I didn’t interrupt their mood to even ask.
Overall, I’d say 7.5/10

True Blue is a nice family friendly resort. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating.

I only have two small complaints:

1. Room service can be improved. I tried to order room service (dining) on a Wednesday night and got no response. I get the resort has a great food truck event on Wednesdays, but your resort members may not want to deal with the crowds. When I ordered room service the next night. The food was delivered in a shabby manner.

2. The room while clean had areas that were dated and could use updating/refresh.

True Blue has its positives and negatives. The rooms are very spacious, and the verandas are lovely overlooking the marina. There are multiple pools and a few bars. Breakfast is included and it's robust enough with cereals, yogurts, bagels, coffee, tea, and juice, and hot dishes such as swordfish excellent), beans, sausage, bacon, waffles, french toast, pancakes, and made to order omelettes on Sundays. I was disappointed in the service overall. Check-in time was 3 and my room wasn't ready until almost 5. I waited in the restaurant where is was difficult to be served or even given a menu. This wait happened three times. The front desk also didn't want to compensate for the late check-in time. An offer to compensate for dinner or allow a later checkout would have been fair. The shower in the room takes a few minutes to heat up to warm but not hot. Rooms are efficiencies, so you can buy food downtown and save a few dollars.

My tour guide, Royan Smith of Bonanza Stables, was the highlight. I'm thankful for them connecting me with him. The resort offers twice daily trips to Grand Anse. They also have yoga and a spa on property. I didn't try either. Not enough time. I heard that the Wednesday live music at the Dodgy Dock is the place to be, but I left on Tuesday.

Overall, for the price, I think you get your money's worth. It's a drive into town and not on the beach, but just enough luxury for people who want a quiet getaway with access to the city & island.

The entire place has a negative atmosphere. The staff act as if they’re doing you a favor rather than providing service. The restaurant service is extremely slow—you’ll be left waiting just to place an order. There’s no warmth, no smiles, and no friendly approach. We ordered fajitas, and they were the worst we’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs.

The location is decent, but if you value good service and friendly staff, you’re better off skipping this place.

This is an island. Not one morning in my 5 mornings was there Grenadiab breakfast as a choice - every morning was American breakfast! This is a Caribbean island - we are only catering to white guests??? Major issue for me. Do better.

My kids and I spent 6 nights at True Blue and had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and very helpful at arranging activities to explore the island. We loved listening to live music at the dodgy dock, exploring the bay with kayaks, swimming in the pools, doing yoga (amazing space and instructor) and lounging around the resort’s many comfy spaces.

This family-owned/operated resort is amazing…from the views, to the staff, the facilities, activities, and food…you feel instantly at peace and cared for. The staff was always available for a ride to town, the beaches, airport, etc… the true blue beach, at the end of the road, is a local gem of a spot, easy to walk to from the property and full of starfish, conch, and sea anemone. We will definitely head back again in the future!

Wifi isn't fast enough for stable streaming which was important to me.

While front desk and auxiliary staff were pleasant. The dinning staff is either a hit or miss. From sometimes pleasant and engaging to sometimes downright disrespectful. I skipped free (limited) breakfast a couple times just to avoid being grumpily treated in the morning. Still don't know what that's about.

As you can see in the other reviews there is definitely some training to be done regarding hospitality for a portion of the staff. It really takes away from the experience.

Other challenges that exist that may concern a visitor:

Flies. Can't leave your table if there is food on it. Flies land on the food being shared as well. Not sure if the problem is seasonal or islandwide... but it is problematic enough to mention. And having someone at the breakfast station at all time to ensure flies are not dancing on the sausages seems reasonable.

Breakfast staff seems understaffed which may contribute to the general no smiles, low patience, grumpy attitudes. You're not allowed to take out your own food at the buffet but there is no one there to serve you for long periods as the person is making omelettes on another station - so you're standing there waiting and can't leave any food on your table and go and come (flies).

Noisy construction works on the docks, entrance road.

Beautiful views and great potential if these issues are alleviated.

I like everything about True Blue every body was nice with us and the food was good specially the breakfast 😋 and the drinks my husband and I love the \"Tango Mango\" one thing I didn't like it was too quiet because hubby and I wanted some activities to do at night unfortunately there was nothing to do. Other than that 10/10
