We loved staying at Mt Cinnamon Beach Resort! From the beautiful view from our villa, to the delicious daily breakfast, yummy beverages and meals, to the gorgeous beach and most importantly, the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff. Our stay was relaxing and I can’t say enough good things. We will definitely visit again!

Mount Cinnamon is very well located on Grand Anse Beach. We had a suite overlooking the sea, situated on the hillside which had a stunning view and was spacious and comfortable. The reception and management team were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The beach and beach bar are also lovely.
The breakfast was average. Some dishes delicious and others less so.
The pool is very average so we did not use this. The property has a tennis court which we enjoyed.

Our villa was very spacious, with two balconies that had an incredible view of the ocean and the town. It was clean and had great air conditioning and hot water. Came with a keurig and pods, as well as a full kitchen with an oven, microwave, and large refrigerator. Lots of books to read. The breakfast was nice, especially the french toast. There is a convenient walking path right down to the beach, where there are loungers and some umbrellas provided, as well as games like tennis, large chess, and shuffle board. The stretch of beach is clean and peaceful. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially loved the evening turn down service where they brought cookies.

We had a fabulous time at Mt. Cinnamon Resort! The beach is not only spotless but stunning and most relaxing! The water is a true turquoise/teal color - a dream!!! We loved the walk to the beach and up the hill to our villa (exercise during the day!), but for those not interested/able, there is a hotel shuttle up the hill. We loved our comfortable villa with a spectacular view. Special thanks to Laura and Joshua, and the rest of the staff for making our stay comfortable. We took an island tour with a great tour guide Chris and snorkeling tour with the best boat captain Francesco (SurfinGredana, inc) and truly had the best time!!! Thank you and we are looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the island and water activities!

Lovely hotel, excellent location for all the attractions on Grand Anse Beach and the surrounding area.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Beach bar and lounger service was great, on a really quiet part of the beach (if you have heard Grand Anse beach is busy, don’t worry about the Cinnamon end of the beach, which is well away from where the cruise ships drop their guests!).
We will defo return!

Spotless rooms, with beautiful views and plenty of space to move around. A play area for children and adults by the beach. A good size pool to relax. Breakfast at this hotel was amazing, they did not disappoint, I looked forward to breakfast every morning. The food at the beach restaurant and the restaurant at the hotel was good as well. The staff members during breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant were great. There were a front desk staff that greeted us upon arrival was very pleasant, I can’t remember his name, but he was exceptional.

The view of the rooms are excellent. The space and facilities of the room are impressive. Staff are polite and professional. There is a private lane directly goes to the beach. Although the hotel 's location is little far from shopping center, the hotel has transportation arrangement helps you to solve this simple burden. However , there is sometimes a loud music noise, on and off, at late night or mid-night. I have been waked up several times.

We experienced an unexpected cancellation by Air Canada while staying at another resort, with no assistance provided and limited availability elsewhere. Thankfully, this property welcomed us with incredible kindness and patience during a very stressful time.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away, not only by the exceptional luxury of the accommodations but by the outstanding service delivered by every member of the team.

Although this resort was already on my radar, the way we were treated has firmly secured it as my top recommendation. Working in the tourism industry myself, I understand the value of genuine hospitality, and this experience surpassed all expectations. I will absolutely return and, confidently recommend it to anyone I meet.

I spent a week as a solo traveler at Mount Cinnamon. I was in Villa 3, which was beautiful. The housekeeping staff is highly attentive and kept my unit in great shape throughout. I loved making dinner in my kitchen and eating on the terrace at night.
The beach is just down the hill with soft white sand and warm water. The attendants were always able to find me a spot in the shade. The hotel is located at the end of the beach so it is really quiet and peaceful.
I had the chance to take a refresher dive and a 2-tank dive with Dive Grenada which I highly recommend. It’s located right next to the Mt Cinnamon cabana (and they also do snorkel trips).
I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. It was exactly what I was looking for!

I was very impressed by the rooms and the staff. It was exceptionally clean. The ocean view was incredible. The property is very walkable. The beach is lovely. The beach is on the end of grand Beach so it’s relatively secluded. It’s a bit pricey, but I will say it’s worth the money.

Mount Cinnamon is a hidden gem! Tucked away on the far left of the main source of action on the island; Grande Anse Beach, it doesn't get any better in terms of location. Staff is extremely friendly, respectful, and reserved in the traditional Grenadian manner. This resort gives you a real slice of pure Grenada and is the perfect place to max out those Vitamin D levels on a vacation you'll remember for a lifetime.

What makes this property great is the staff. Everyone is very friendly. The IGA and spiceland mall are within walkable distance as are several restaurants if you don't want to stay on the resort all the time. The rooms and facilities are gradually being updated. The rooms are spacious and the views can't be beat. If you don't like to walk up hills though, you will not be happy here as the rooms and villas are built in the side of a hill.

Wonderful property. Very Hilly, but they do have a shuttle! Everyone goes above and beyond to accommodate. The beach is 10/10. I will be back..
Things to improve: they could be a tad bit more responsive on the beach. But most of the staff were but beach staff was slow to help.. but still adequate. It is definitely a 4.75 star!!! I ish there were TVs in the rooms, however there is one in the common area. The villas are bilevel and the phone is on the bottom floor only. These are minor things and would never deter my stay.

What an amazing resort!!!! our room was spacious an clean. Maid service in the am and fresh cookies on your bed at turn down. The staff is amazing. Surprised my husband with a birthday cake on the beach. we were in search of Grenada famous Oli Down and they special ordered for us and it was delicious!. I had just had ankle surgery and they drove us back and forth to the beach with no attitude they were happy to do it. Cant wait to go back!!!!

This beautiful boutique hotel had an amazing breakfast, which is included in your stay, as well as fabulous options for lunch and dinner in their restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Friday and Sunday evening bonfires.

The property does come with it's fair share of slants and stairs. My husband can do slants and stairs with assistive walking sticks; however, the friendly staff at Mount Cinnamon insisted that we use the shuttle the majority of the time. Their thoughtfulness and compassion helped him to conserve energy for some of the other fun activities we were able to enjoy on the island.

The beach area of Mount Cinnamon is just beautiful. There are plenty of beach chairs. We never had to wait for any or go down early to reserve a spot.

We loved Mount Cinnamon. It sounds as if they are about to start a renovation of the property, although we couldn't tell that it needed one, and I can't wait to see it on our next trip to Grenada. We fell in love with this resort, the staff, and the entire island of Grenada.

We had a great experience at this resort. They were accommodating to our experience in Grenada. Helped book a tour, offered Management cocktails. Most of the staff were fantastic (except one, but maybe she had an off day). Loved having a massage in the Spa. The beach is beautiful and facilities to relax and enjoy time with the family were superb. The gym was a little a hot but with great equipment. We adored the manager and ambassador who addressed us all the time by our names and ensured we has a great time. That is called service!

Mount Cinnamon was a great getaway for my family. It is nestled into the hillside above Grand Anse Beach and has spectacular views. The beach itself is absolutely amazing! The Hillsides are honestly no joke, so if you have mobility issues or are handicapped then this may not be the best property for you - They do however offer a shuttle van to your room from the lobby, as well as down to the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during our entire stay.

We just so happened to be in Grenada during hurricane Beryl, which could’ve been quite catastrophic had it drifted just a little southward. The hotel staff and general manager have a great hurricane plan in place and treated us all very well during the storm. We were fed for free during the storm, as well as provided large amounts of freshwater. Our safety was always at top of mind And I have to give credit to the staff for putting themselves in the line of fire during the storm to bring things to us.

The people of Grenada are hands down the friendliest that I’ve met throughout my worldwide travels. I would definitely stay here again.

Pray for the island of Carriacou, as they took the brunt of the hurricane and were utterly devastated.

My family and I just had a wonderful week at Mount Cinnamon. Our villa was spacious and beautiful. The pool and beach were perfect. I had a lovely massage at the spa, and both restaurants were delicious.

The service and staff at the hotel was wonderful. We were especially appreciative of the Asst. Manager, Laura, who went above and beyond to make sure my family was well cared for and comfortable.

We will definitely visit Mount Cinnamon again.

I will say food service was a little slow, but it is the same with any Caribbean island we visited. They are definitely on island time and in no hurry.
The property itself is beautiful. The beach access is across the street about the walk to the beach is lush & tropical. If you’re traveling with kids, there are many things that will keep them entertained. There’s a giant chest set, cricket ball, volleyball table, an open field for soccer, and a volleyball net.
The beach area provides chairs with umbrellas. The attendants are friendly and helpful.

Pros-Beautiful hotel. Our villa was very large with a living room, full kitchen huge bedroom downstairs, 2 full baths and washer and dryer with 2 balconies. Beach was very nice with tons of shade trees. Never needed sunscreen. The hill was a little tough in the heat but the shuttle was available if you needed it. Shout out to Garrett, Karina and Cecille. The shuttle guy was also very polite.
Cons: service was pretty bad at the beach club. Food was also not great. The bonfire BBQ was really bad. Cold food. Fire embers and smoke from bonfire blowing right at the guests and singer and DJ. I would highly discourage. Food at Savvy’s was good but again the service was not up to par. After 2 meals we went outside the resort.
All in all, if you can make reservations off property for dinners then I highly recommend this resort. Waves were also big this week and not many swimmers, but that’s not the hotel’s fault

Very much appreciated transport to/from the airport. I paid more than I normally would for accomodations just for the location and the dive shop. Location was good and the property and views were beautiful. Room was comfortable. Housekeeping was hit or miss. Shuttle was hit or miss. Some of the staff were exceptional and others seemed annoyed/disinterested. Reception staff very helpful and accomodating.
Restaurant staff not so much. Didn't use the gym (didn't even find it) or the spa. Went to the beach a few times and was awkwardly approached by staff trying to send me away before realizing that I was a hotel guest. Overall, not worth the price.

Beautiful location and beach area. Rooms are a bit dated (at least ours was - HA 1b) and amenities need to be updated as many are in disrepair - eg ping pong table and croquet, horeshoes etc.. A few days in the beach towels disappeared from the rack - you had to ask for them as they were in short supply, which is fine but there was no communication on this (just a simple sign would have worked) so guests were left frustrated thinking no towels were available not knowing that you had to request one. Food overall was good, but service was sorely lacking. Slow but also lack of training resulted in food items delivered in the wrong order at the wrong time or not at all. Restaurant service staff seem unhappy and it reflects in their attention to diners. Limited dining and drink options, as although there are 2 restaurants, when one is open the other is not, including the associated bar. We understand that there was an ownership change last October, and repeat guests that we met commented that the service has definately gone downhill. We also understand that the previous GM has just been brought back, so this may help, but for us the service level was very disappointing relative to the cost to stay at Mount Cinnamon, and prior reviews up until the more recent negative reviews - which we agree with!

A lovely resort with stellar staff members who make you feel like family. The beach has lots of options for shade, with a beach restaurant that has delicious food and drink. The breakfasts offer a buffet of home cooked breads and cook to order eggs. Great coffee, fresh fruit. The front desk is very helpful with scheduling tours or other transportation. Restaurants, an atm and shopping for essentials are within an easy 10-15 minute walk.

November 2023 Mt. Cinnamon started great with a delicious rum punch and friendly welcome. The dining patio is lovely and the beach restaurant is equally lovely. Shrimp tacos at the beach can't be beat. Overall the view, lovely walk to the beach including the much needed exercise up the hill was awesome. We did rent a car but if you use a service one is not needed at all. Would highly recommend.

Mount Cinnamon Resort is such a special place to stay. My husband and I just got back from vacationing in a few Caribbean islands which included many different hotels and stays. I can easily say though that Mount Cinnamon Resort was our favorite. The resort is gorgeous and the villa we stayed in was not only beautiful but had everything we needed including stunning views. Their restaurant is top notch too. We had delicious breakfasts every morning and enjoyed a memorable dinner here as well. What blew us away though was the staff! Everyone is so friendly and attentive. They really make you feel special and go above and beyond when it comes to service. Masha, Garrett, Rohan and Reggie were awesome and made our stay even more extra special. I truly can't recommend this resort enough and can not wait to come back. Grenada is amazing but staying here is the real destination.

This was my second stay at the Mount Cinnamon resort and it was just as good as the first. The staff is absolutely fantastic. Breakfast delicious and the beach pretty. Rooms are very spacious. I will continue to visit this resort for certain, for all future Grenada trips

Although nice resort, it’s on a hill, and if you have an injury as I did it’s very unsafe. Food is good but its not a 5 star resort and food prices are ridiculous

This property did not take my call to be informed that my flight was getting delayed until it was the day of my arrival that someone picked up. Which I was informed that I may change my dates but only through Expedia. However, when I contacted Expedia they themselves could not get the hotel on the line. I was informed that I would get my changed if not refund which the hotel later refused. Poor service and I lost my money in the process.

The staff was soo nice and friendly. they truly demonstrate great customer focused service. The Villa where I stayed was in fair shape, the sofa was worn and tattered. The kitchen was dated and the overall presentation of the Villa needed updated. There were ants and cockroaches, I understand it is rainy season in the tropics but at that nightly price....the Villa should have not critters.

We are a family of 4 and in the Caribbean we’ve been to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, Cozumel, St Lucia, Martinique, Barbados, and I can honestly say, Grenada is the best!!! Hands down.

I say Grenada is the best because of the people, the culture, the beach, the food, and Mt Cinnamon boutique hotel.

Mt Cinnamon has the best location on a pristine stretch of beach with a convenient beach bar/restaurant. You can snorkel right off the beach, just with your goggles… plus they have plenty of kayaks, and a really cool glass bottom paddle canoe to see the bottom of the ocean without having to dunk your head. This white sand beach is so clean you wouldn’t believe it. The beach is calm and clear- perfect for kids!

The restaurants at Mt Cinnamon are top notch. I never had a bad meal at Savvy’s or the Beach Cabana. Trust me, try everything. The special menus are amazing as well, like Field to Fork and Ocean to Plate menus. The desserts are to die for! The ice creams were a hit with whole family- in addition to the chocolate trio and coconut cheesecake!

I always looked forward to breakfast. The Spice isle coffee was strong and tasty. The full breakfast was included- and it was FULL! Egg station, bacon, sausage, fruit, baked goods, plus a full menu cooked to order- all included!

The entire staff is amazing. They each are the best at what they do, from the management, front desk staff, to the kitchen, the bartenders, the housekeepers, security, maintenance, and drivers

Beautiful property with friendly staff and a gorgeous beach. Delicious breakfast.

Note - for people who have difficulty walking, you might want to request a room closer to the lobby/dining area instead of up the hill. The staff can also shuttle you to your room and to the beach in the hotel car.

My only (very small) gripe was that there weren't different kinds of pillows for different styles of sleepers. Some hotels have different options which I always like.

Really loved our stay and wish we could go back.

Beautiful property up on a hill with a fantastic view! They have a beach bar and main restaurant with free breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I scheduled transportation from the airport to the hotel and we had VIP treatment at the airport! We had rum punch while going through immigration and customs in a special room. They got our luggage for us and then our driver was there to pick us up. We had a fantastic week.
