Common areas were nice and staff was generally courteous. Breakfast choices were limited but food was passable. Lunch menu and preparation was best of the three meals. Supper left a lot to be desired. Poor selection badly prepared. Would not recommend the all inclusive option for this resort.

Although we did not take the meal plan, we did eat a few meals on the premises. The offerings were very nice but not spicy enough for me. The beach was wonderful. I would definitely return to Cobaya Resort

I have previously stayed in Grand Anderson and it is a very convenient location generally but the accommodation makes all the difference and I had nothing to complain about. I had an amazing stay at Coyaba. The resort was beautiful and well maintained, the staff were so kind and welcoming and the location is perfect with great beach access and proximity to St. George parish where you’re able to go into town by taxi or bus and explore. I can’t wait to come back (planning my next trip as soon as I get home)!!

Did not like the fact that they turned the fan and air conditioner off in the room and also open the curtains for the sun to warm the room further! After a very long stroll down the beach and swimming, coming back to a hot room was not acceptable and shows a lack of compassion to the guess. The guest services person did to have any good advice of things going on with in walking distance of the hotel, could not give any good advice of things to do or to go! My husband, son and I just returned home after a 7 night stay at Coyaba Beach Resort. Let me start with the positives.
The grounds of the hotel are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The location on Grand Anse Beach is perfect and Grand Anse definitely lives up to its reputation as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Powder white sand, crystal clear water… beach perfection! The majority of the staff are very friendly and accommodating and you get the impression the hotel wants you to enjoy your stay.
Now the negatives, the bathroom situation is completely unacceptable! There is zero air conditioning in the bathroom. There isn’t even a fan. You have a screened window in the shower with metal louvres you can open. The toilet bowl was stained and there are mold stains around the shower.
The rooms are tired and dated, which I expected, but the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. There are no box springs just a mattress on top of metal bed slats that you can feel when you lay on the bed. My husband and I could barely move when we woke up each day.
There is not a decent cup of coffee to be found! The majority of the time you will get only instant coffee. I learned if you ask for “brewed” coffee you may get it. I had two acceptable cups in 7 days. Other days it was instant or burnt rocket fuel. This is not hard, learn how to brew coffee!
The food was mediocre. The restaurant by the pool had better food than the buffet. Drinks were great!
Would I return? NO!

Lunch and Dinner was were the struggle was for us to find something we liked. We utilized KFC next door as well as Antonio’s restaurant a short walk away. The area surrounding the property is accessible with a shopping mall just across the street. The property is located directly on the beautiful and clean grand anse beach. The entire staff--concierge, bartenders, servers, and cleaning crew--was friendly and attentive to one's needs. While the resort is not new, it has a clean and comfortable character. Besides the personnel, Coyaba's location on Grand Anse Beach is certainly one of its greatest assets: wonderful view, beautiful sunsets, and (in July) no crowds.

Coyaba offers a much needed place to just be quiet and relax. Found the staff very helpful and polite especially as we had a couple of room issues. Sorted out the problem in a short time. The location was perfect- centered directly on the beach with a great dive shop (Eco Dive) on the premises. The beach was great here, and the pool was nice too. You can walk along the beach and find quite a bit of restaurants as well. Lastly, there is a grocery store right across the street which is very convenient. The only downside was that loud music played until 1am every night. I was still able to sleep but for how peaceful the hotel was during the day, this was quite frustrating.

This is the third time I have been to Grenada, the first time staying at Coyaba resort. This resort is absolutely beautiful! First of all from the moment we got to the hotel the staff was welcoming and wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay. The pool was beautiful and cleaned every day, and there is a swim up bar in the shady area of the pool. The pool restaurant where we ate most days, had a variety of foods and fresh fish meals every day. All delicious! The catch of the day included fresh tuna, swordfish, mahi mahi, and my husband loved the barracuda! The beach, Grand Anse, is beautiful and clean. Next door is a great restaurant Umbrellas. Across the street is Spice Mall which has a grocery store that also sells wine and liquor. The people who work at the hotel are so friendly and accommodating. There is tight security entering the property and at the beach, presumably to not let people who weren’t staying at the hotel use the facilities. I certainly did not feel unsafe in Grenada, if I had I wouldn’t have gone back. Anyway I had my piece of paradise for 6 days staying at Coyaba Hotel!

Our stay at Coyaba was quite enjoyable. I would however like to express my disappointment in the service in lobby of your establishment. The welcome left a lot to be desired. The tour service desk was always unmanned, so setting up a tour became difficult. The staff in the restaurant, particularly Reanna, were very pleasant! We will be back, hoping to see improvements!

Lovely New Year Week at Coyaba
We had a great one week stay at Coyaba. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and up to date with fridge, safe, cable tv, aircon and fan. Wifi pretty good across the resort but not lightning fast. Room servicing is top notch with a turn down service. Food offering at breakfast is wide enough, with an egg & pancake chef. The all-inclusive menu at lunch and dinner could be a bit repetitive if you were there for a long time I think, but we ate out several nights during the week anyway. The grounds and pool are well maintained. The beach is very pleasant and is right there with comfortable dedicated loungers for hotel guest use brought forward from the gardens. Beach towels provided and changed every day. Diving with EcoDive is on site and I dived one morning witb them; they are a great dive team with good equipment. While we are in our 50s, we felt reasonably young compared to a lot of European guests - some couples or groups have been coming to Coyaba for many years and meet up each year for a number of weeks. There were not a lot of young people or families around and it is a quiet resort. I think everywhere we went in Grenada was quite quiet in the first week of January - I don't know if that is down to the precise week of travel or general economics or that full travel has not yet fully recovered after Covid.
