The staff was so nice! Room was big for what it costs and amenities are great! Would definitely recommend for a cheap, but great hotel to stay at. It’s also right next to station which is so convenient.

The good thing about this hotel is 1- price 2- train station right around the corner. Other than that, rooms are very outdated and you can clearly tell they have not renovated since opening. Staff is very nice and helpful. Our first room had a hole in the wall, we told staff and they changed our room. Second room had very dirty walls. Asked for a refund but received response after our second night, out of three night stay.

Very close to the train station, only one stop away from Osaka station. It was nice to go back and sleep somewhere quiet away from the busy city. Room size was bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures. Very happy with my stay here!

The hotel was very close to the station, convenient stores, and dining options which was extremely nice. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were pleasant. By the elevator there's a shelf of free amenities that the guests can help themselves to at anytime. The quality of these products was good as well. The purpose for booking our room was simply for a place to sleep and come back to after exploring so for that purpose, it was great.

Really good sized rooms compared to others I have stayed in in Japan. Really clean and comfortable. Staff all lovely. Only negative thing I will comment on is the doors slam shut and with a lot of force. This is incredibly noisy. The hotel in general is so nice and quiet but the doors are ridiculously loud. If they had soft shutting it would be perfect. However the rest of the hotel was so good I’d definitely stay again.

I love it!!

Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Especially the lady who greeted me every morning at the breakfast buffet. I wish I could pay her back for her kindness somehow.

Beds are super comfortable too. Rooms are a bit snug but not too small. I do recommend opening the window if it gets a bit hot, as there's only a humidifier in the room. The bathroom is also a bit small, but it still has all the necessities.

I highly recommend Best Western Osaka Tsukamoto. The hotel is in a very convenient spot. The station is a few minutes away and there are multiple convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The room size is pretty standard for a Japanese hotel and was cleaned well. The lobby has amenities and a dining area. The staff is friendly and can speak English as well. They also have luggage delivery service. I'd say the only one downside was that I smelled cigarette smoke from my non-smoking room despite the windows being closed, but it only lasted one night and I didn't smell it again for the rest of my stay. It wasn't a big deal to me, but I'd thought I'd note this anyway for people who have strong aversions to the smell. Regardless of that, I highly recommend this hotel. In summary, the location is great, the hotel is provides good and useful amenities/services, and the staff are friendly.

It’s a super convenient to all stores and train station. Love there are so many choices of food and supermarkets within walking distance. However, the room is small and the AC is not as cold. I did enjoyed my stay with friendly staff and new linens everyday even I don’t want cleaning room service. Will definitely come back again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Reception and breakfast staff were lovely. room was a great size and 2 minuets walk to the local train station with convenience stores even closer. The ladies at breakfast were so nice, offering to bring us food options when it was getting low and it was always lovely and quiet (apart from one morning with a school trip leaving) lots of amenities as well .

スタッフさんの対応がとても良いと思います。あらかじめ朝食券予約しなかったが当日一人分約¥1200で洋食と和食両方とも提供されていました。個人的にかなり安くて美味しかったと思います。JR塚本駅まで徒歩3分で、周りにもコンビニいっぱいあるのでおすすめです。

Single room is tiny and amenities are minimal. Still this is definitely my favorite stay because of the location (1 stop from Osaka, 2 short blocks walk from the local station), very attentive staff members, and lots of convenience stores and eateries with local vibes nearby. Totally recommended. Especially, considering the price.

PROS:
- conveniently close to the train station from which we were able to travel to many places (only one stop from Osaka).
- their freshly ground coffee (tea available also) in lobby was a great start each morning. Better than the industrial coffee in the States.
- convenience stores nearby stocked with so many food items. Try some of the prepared meals and ramen bowls. So much better than dried ramen bowls in the States. I was hooked by their egg sandwiches, rice ball varieties, and shrimp chips!
- small town feel away from the rush-rush of the big cities like Tokyo and Osaka.
- lots of small eating places with fresh food nearby.
- 100Y shops (like Dollar stores, but better) nearby - fun!
- check out the supermarket (Life Super) nearby. You can find lots of food items to take home for gifts. Their sushi is super fresh too.
- free WiFi was quite fast,

CONS:
- room looked a bit depressing and was sooo tiny (12'x12'), but it was only a place for us to rest at night (we paid $50/nite). You get what you pay for.
- BR is raised, so you have to step up to go in. Can be dangerous in the middle of the night.
- decor very dated and aged, but clean.
- no storage, you live out of your suitcase. We got used to it after 2 days.
- \"double bed\" is so narrow, but we booked the cheapest room.
- staff members spoke little to no English. We had to rely on Google Translate.
- staff was not engaging, but polite. I think it was because they didn't know how to communicate with us.

At a minute walk to Tsukamoto St., just one stop from Osaka St., and a bargain price, this was a good choice. Hotel has all the necessary amenities plus a cheap breakfast buffet. On the down side wifi and lighting in the room didn't always work, and some of the staff didn't speak English very well. Still I recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel was good (metro station within 2 min walk) but the hotel needs some renovations, the rooms are clean but seriously outdated, the air conditioning wasn't working so we had to open the windows which quickly became very noisy as the train station is right outside. The breakfast option looked terrible so did not try.

Our room and the property were clean and tidy all the time, our bed was comfortable to sleep. There are plenty of options available surrounding the hotel (small eateries, convenience stores opened till late). There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

Great Hotel in an Excellent Location

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Osaka Tsukamoto. The staff are very hospitable and did everything to make my stay a pleasant one. The WiFi worked well and the room was clean. In addition, the hotel is located in a great area, with lots of food options and places to shop nearby. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station which is also close to Osaka Station. Great place! I would recommend it.

Convenient location, one stop on JR line from Osaka Station. Room was smallish but very clean and quite enough space for two. Occasionally there was a cigarette smoke smell in the room even on non-smoking floor but it usually passed after not too long.

Very close to JR Tsukamoto station, with one stop from Osaka station. We found the hotel right away. The hotel was on the older side, we had accidentally gotten smoking rooms, but they helped us get non-smoking for our members who couldn't tolerate the smoking room. Breakfast area was small and was good for about 1300 yen. They helped us arrange luggage to our next hotel. The area was very cool, with a neighborhood feel, lots of places to eat nearby. Overall I was satisfied.

Rooms are small, but convenient location

The hotel staff was courteous. The rooms were VERY SMALL compared to the U.S. but that's how it is in Osaka. We didn't mind the small rooms since we were gone during the day plus it was inexpensive to stay there. The location was great with some bakeries nearby and lots of places to eat. Only one JR station away (Tsukamoto Station) from JR Osaka. The hotel was about 3 min away from the JR Tsukamoto station. I would definitely stay there again because of the convenient location.

Was not to specifications listed measurements of room were too small felt like a hamster in a cage . As I noticed the guy who checked me in was polite but I kinda felt discriminated against since I’m an American tourist I noticed other Japanese guests who got queen beds had slightly bigger rooms when asked if I can pay a difference to get a bigger room they laughed so I confirmed that it was probably intentional . All rooms are paper thin and everyone loves slamming the doors at midnight and early morning I understand the morning rush but not comfort for American tourists

Convenient Location, Quiet Area

Front Desk was a great help to me, one of us got sick in the middle of the night, and I couldn't find any fever medication. While they did not have medication, one of them brought us a fever patch. I am very thankful to that gentleman.

Location wise, it is near enough to the station, amenities were alright. Room make up was only a 3hr period, which is a little shorter as compared to other hotels we stayed. Check in and out process was a breeze. If you are looking for a simple hotel, this is a good place. If you are looking for one with full service, perhaps another hotel might be better.

We saw only adults, which we assume are on business trips or short getaways. Getting to Tsukamoto station from Osaka / Shin Osaka station will let you take a one stop ride on the JR. It gives you a wonderful view of the bridge and river. Cheers =)

Cigerette smoke entered our non-smoking room.

I do not recommend this hotel if cigarette smoke bothers you. We had a non-smoking room but cigarette smoke would enter to room, apparently from another room or through the ventilation system. The beds is barely larger than a twin bed so it is very crowded for two people. The room is typical of a Japanese \"business\" hotel and is very small even for Japan. The bathroom has a small Japanese style tub (deep but small) with a shower. The hotel is an older building which appears to have had a recent renovation of the lobby but not the rooms. The location is good with the local station only a short walk and Osaka station being only one stop by train away. There are several places to eat in the neighborhood. The street noise is noticeable if you open the window.

Está muy bien ubicado fácil transportación desde donde estés, la zona a pesar de estar rodeada de locales y restaurantes es tranquila y las habitaciones silenciosas, el hotel es pequeño pero aprovechan cada espacio y es muy cómodo, la comida del bufete es deliciosa pero lo que lo hace un gran lugar es su gente, el servicio es tan amable que te hacen sentir increíble, es una excelente opción para descansar y disfrutar de Osaka y Kyoto.

まず駅から２分の近さが便利。
大阪、神戸、宝塚方面へのアクセスも便利。
繁華街に近い割には静かで良い。
部屋はコンパクトだけど、必要なものは全て揃っているので安心。
パスタブはちょっと狭かった。
今回一番の決め手は宿泊費が安かったこと。

建物は少し古いが、ビジネスホテルらしからぬ「大阪らしくておいしい」朝食付で、スタッフもとてもフレンドリーで良かった。場所も尼崎駅の隣の塚本駅のすぐ前なので、とても便が良い場所にある。この値段で泊まれるのはありがたい。大阪近辺に宿泊する必要があるときには、また利用したい。

スタッフの方達はとても清潔感があり対応も丁寧で、好印象でした。
飲み物のサービスもありありがたい。
建物自体は古いものなのかもしれませんが、綺麗にされていました。
室内も必要なものは揃っていて、アメニティは自分で必要なものを選んぶシステムも良いですね。
ただ便座が暖かくならないのは残念でした。
外出から戻るとフロントが外国の方達か大勢いて、夜心配でしたが
とても静かで、快適に過ごすことができました。
