The Staff was always present and very helpful. The room is smaller than what I am used to. It was a bit crowded but you can kick all the luggage under the bed which clears up enough space to walk. The shower was a good size. The hotel is near Sooo many amazing restaurants. The train station is also around the corner which was convenient.

Compact hotel located in a great eating and drinking area of Osaka. Staff were helpful, amenities were great - the rooms were just a tad small for a double room and two sets of luggage, but that is often standard in Japan. They were however spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was varied every day of our stay, it was fantastic to have mostly Japanese dishes. The meal options around the hotel were endless - we had excellent izakaya meals throughout our stay, and there is also a supermarket and subway station nearby. Overall, would book again for a short, budget-friendly but good-value stay.

Staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room and hotel itself was immaculate, very spacious and clean. I love the location right next to Train Station and restaurants and convenience stores. The laundry machines are amazing and so convenient. I highly recommend Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka! I would definitely stay here when I visit Osaka again.

I found this hotel to be a bit luxurious for a friendly price. The staff was VERY good and they pay atgention to every detail. The check-in and check-out was very smooth and they took care of our lugagge transfer withouth problem. This hotel is 4 minutes away from Fukushima Train Station and it has a very big variety of restaurants around the area. There's also a very nice supermarket and a 7/11. Room was a bit small but we had two twin beds which was super comfortable to sleep. I would stay again. Very pleasant experience.

Elegant hotel with friendly staff, excellent facilities, and fast Wi-Fi. There is a food store next door, as well as small restaurants and a bakery around the hotel. It is one metro stop or a 15-min walk from Umeda Station (with a direct line to Kyoto) either on the streets or through an underground tunnel nearby. There is also an easy metro ride to Shin-Osaka Station from Umeda Station for the Shinkansen. I am a walker and walked everywhere from the hotel, including Osaka Castle, the Dotombori area, and even to Tsūtenkaku Tower. But the metro lines to these places are also convenient. The room was a bit on the small side, which is typical in Japan, so it is not an issue.

Room is tight however space is well used and there was storage for 2 check in sized luggage. They are setup for luggage delivery service with airporter which allowed us to send luggage from osaka to pur next stop in Kyoto. Shower/bathroom are excellent and very clean even though it is a bit tight. Staff were helpful. Hotel has laundry machines which are easily accessible. Location we felt was excellent with access to grocery store amd lots of restaurants. Also along Osaka Loop line which made access to the various stops relatively simple.

The location was great, with comfortable rooms. The only issue was staff were really short with us when we first arrived to drop off our luggage. As if we were an inconvenience. The staff throughout the rest of our stay were a lot more polite.

JR福島駅からも近く、ホテルのすぐ近くに綺麗なスーパーやバーやレストラン等の飲食店がたくさんあり、ロケーションは素晴らしいと思いました。


建物自体新しい方だと思うので、そこは良かったのですが、一方で、部屋の中がワキガのような体臭が染み込んだ部屋でした。
自分の香水や持っていったファブリーズ等で何とか消臭出来ないものかと試みましたが難しいと感じました。一泊だったため我慢しました。

An excellent budget stay in Osaka. The location is fantastic. On the same lane as a grocery store and many restaurants. Try the Mexican!
My only suggestion is the beds. They are incredibly hard and I often woke up stiff. Friendly staff and the free laundry was a real plus.

Great for the price. I wasn't expecting much for the price. The room was small, but they always are with business hotels. It's clean and super close to Fukushima station, which is only one stop from Osaka station. You can also easily walk to the Umeda Sky Building from here. Great food options nearby, too. Way better than APA and about the same price.

I love everything about this hotel. Close to all restaurants and, most of all, the train station (literally). There are multiple izakayas (similar to a pub) in front of the hotel. FYI, the izakayas open late at night. Free laundry and dry. The detergent and softener are already provided by the hotel. They also provide great selection of teas and coffee. They provide razor, brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Very close to 7eleven and family mart. I love waking up every morning with a great view!!!

The only caveat is that the size of the rooms are more than likely for solo travelers. It is quite small for a family with kids or even for couples as there are no space for baggages. Although, you can put baggages underneath the bed, however, getting it and putting it back in would be quite a hassle.

But, other than that, everything else was perfect. Staff was nice to still reserve a booking for me despite not showing up on the day I was supposed to check in due to a flight delay. They were very accomodative about that (just make sure to inform them).

The entryway floor was extremely hard, old, stained, and disgusting. The sheets and towels smelled like dirty laundry. It took many showers and laundry loads to get the smell off of us.

There was a nasty, mysterious stain on the wall near the fridge.

The walls are extremely thin and, despite the tiny rooms, we could hear guests banging and stomping around all night. One night, the lady next to us was yelling down the hallway. We barely slept the four nights we were there and couldn't wait to leave.

There are two shower heads, both of which were broken. The rain one didn't work, but water shot out of the valve and blasted my husband in the face instead. The pressure overpowers the shower heads and the detachable one also got us blasted in the face.

The layout and design of the rooms is awful. It's clear that nothing was intentional and they're just building boxes to stuff people in. There is barely room for one person to walk around in there. Windows did not open.

Staff were not rude, but not friendly or welcoming either. Worst hotel experience we had in Japan by far.

The room is definitely cozy. Everything was very nice but you have to get onto your bed from the foot based on the way the room is laid out.

Location is really nice. Close to a stop on the Osaka Loop line and lots of grocery and dining options nearby. About fifteen minutes by train to Universal if you are going there.

This is not the first time we have stayed here. We love the comfort, service and convenience offered by this location. Close to JR and metro stations, plenty of food options just outside the main entrance. Very nice room views from both sides of the hotel. You are also one stop away from the main Osaka-Umeda station
