The property itself is old, it needs to be fully renovated, the ventilation system is partially working. There is no way to set the temperature. The washrooms fan did not work. The Internet Access Point sometimes is asking to reconnect through.

The staff, instead, is excellent, friendly and always available to satisfy every customer needs.

Staff were amazing. This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Fukushimi station, which is one stop over from Umeda.

Hotel was extremely clean, staff were amazing and helpful.

The inside of the hotel, lobby, gym and pool facilities were amazing.

If you’re staying in Osaka this is the place to stay.

Amenities were fantastic as well.

We were charged extra in expedia for breakfast included, but the hotel only included breakfast for half the nights.

I contacted the hotel and they did not even answer.

Hotel is not located near easy transport. Its in a more business district. Hotel itself was beautiful and clean however the restaurants were extremely expensive, hours are not convenient, (no coffee or breakfast before 9am except by room service), and we found the beds to be very hard. Very limited take away options but we found that to be common in Osaka in general.

I was exceptionally happy with staff, room/room service and dinning options within the building. Free bus to Osaka station as well as rail access. A short stroll over the water and myriad little restaurants for authentic Japanese cuisines.

Beautiful hotel with a resort feel. Not close to train stations, but there is a shuttle provided to take you to Osaka station. I only took it once, but it appears to get packed from either end of the trip. The walk to/ from close stations is about 15-20 minutes.
Grocery store Life is nearby as well as a Family Mart. There is a 7 11 in the hotel.

Overall the amenities, the room, the swimming facility are all wonderful and I would stay here again as
long as I don't have to interact with your front desk staff, especially the Elite Checkin section.
I am a platinum member of IHG and just because I did the reservation on Expedia, they stripped me of
much of the value I had as a member. They only gave me a late checkout by extending from 11am to Noon.
They didn't even check and recognize me as a Platinum member, no welcome drink, no points, no nothing.
I admit it is my fault for doing the Expedia booking but in other locations, they made extra effort to make me feel welcome.
I will totally come to Japan again and maybe try my luck at the other IHG hotels in Osaka but for this location I am not sure if I will come back.

This is a beautiful high-end convention hotel in a quiet area. The location is not convenient for tourists; however, taxis are always available.
Down bedding is comfortable, unless there are allergies to down lol.
Step-in tub does not have convenient safety handle for balance while stepping into shower.
Hotel does not have public bath.
The lobby and landscaping are gorgeous.

Very large and nice hotel. Plenty of space in our room. The only dislikes were we seen pictures of a pool which was why we booked the hotel but later found out it’s for members only, not sure how to become one either. Also visited in March so the A/C wasn’t on only the heat so our room was very warm. Other than those two things we enjoyed our stay here.

This is an older luxury hotel that is showing its age. We did have a pleasantly large renovated room, though bathrooms were tired. The shuttle to Osaka station was very convenient but without the shuttle this hotel is not in a great location. A kilometre plus to get anywhere on foot. Staff were very nice and the bartender in the Cellar Bar was excellent. We paid to use the pool facilities. If you're looking for a time warp directly into 1985 I recommend. We actually kind of enjoyed the old school charm of the pool. Kids loved it. Lots of convenience stores in the area and a larger grocery store very close as well. Restaurants in the area weren't very foreigner friendly so we ate around Osaka Station. Food and shopping there excellent and convenient enough with the shuttle bus, which runs every fifteen minutes.

Second time booking at this property. We upgraded to their grand room as the cozy is a little small. Room is very luxurious for the price point. Best part of the hotel is the shuttle bus to Osaka station. Allowed me to save lots of time figuring out the metro system and less worries on navigation

The hotel is in the business convention district. Amenities and interior are too notch. Very close to typical local Osaka restaurants.

There is also a very convenient shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station. Wish I knew this instead of taking a taxi to the hotel. The shuttle comes every 15 minutes.

It was a mixed bag. We had 2 rooms - one was great, one said newly renovated but looked anything like it (had old bathtub, small etc). Bellboy was not helpful, but people at the desk were helpful. Far from tourist attractions, but redeeming factor was the shuttle bus running every 15 mins that goes to osaka station.

Enjoyable repeat stay at the RHIGA Hotel in Osaka

We ventured to Osaka after a stopover in Kyoto, staying at the RHIGA hotel in Osaka. We have stayed at the RHIGA Osaka several times in the past including a family trip in May 2023.

We like the convenience of the hotel’s relative closeness to Osaka Station and having access to the hotel’s free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the JR Osaka Station.

For some reason we ended up with a handicap accessible room which meant a very roomy bathroom. While our booking did not include breakfast there were many breakfast places to choose from at Osaka Station. I did note that the comforter and the pillows at the RHIGA Osaka were more comfortable that the RHIGA Kyoto and their shuttle bus started earlier and ended later than the shuttle service at the RHIGA Kyoto.

Of special note were the international staff who greeted us when we approached the front desk and the concierge. The knowledgeable staff were able to answer our questions without us having to go to the front desk. I suspect this service is in preparation for the Osaka Expo which will be taking place in 2025. Great service, reasonable prices for an upscale hotel and the expanded hours of their shuttle bus are big pluses when looking for a hotel in Osaka that’s not too close to the train station

Be wary. False advertising. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the pool. Not every room has access to the pool unless you pay 5900 yen per visit. I booked this hotel thinking I had access to the pool. If I knew I had to pay 5900 yen to use the facilities, I would booked some place else.
