The room was super clean and in excellent shape. The daily cleaning was top notch. The room is a little small for 3 people, but it would be perfect for 2 people. Front desk staff was super helpful.

The location is what really makes this hotel excellent. It is connected to the Dotica underground passageway that can be used to walk to Umeda Nishi station which we used for most of our touring. If you need other lines you can walk just a little further underground to the Osaka station with many trains and other subway lines. To get there you go to level B1 from a separate elevator to the regular ones. We found this super handy. Especially when it is raining.

The room was spotless. However, don’t try to ask for early check in (even if it is one hour before official check in), because they will ask for a fee that exceeds the daily rate. Spare yourself feeling this indignity. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice and modern and well located.

Rooms were way too small for 2 adults 1 child when the sofa area was setup as the 3rd bed. Cant walk when luggagea are opened up. The booking should have suggested a bigger room size.

Staff at the front lobby especially Mr. Fu was very helpful and gave lots of tips to make our vacation more enjoyable. The luggage transfer service from our hotel in Kyoto to Elsereine in Osaka was awesome. One thing that the hotel needs is a self service laundry room.

As for everywhere in Japan there is a language barrier. The area is quite central to some of the popular places to visit and many of them are walkable within a few km.

Unexpected gem in Osaka! I selected this hotel for its great value but was surprised with its quality lobby, great staff and I am writing this review to say: the bed sheets were the cleanest I have ever seen in the world! They smelled like nothing. Like invisible. Like air. Like water. It was the cleanest and most comfortable we had in years. Also, the hotel lobby was very luxurious. Impressive. Highly recommend. Very safe neighborhood within walking distance of the Osaka train station.

This hotel was perfect. The rooms are big, with comfortable beds and great showers.
Breakfast was great, plenty of options. Avoid going from 7-8 am as it is really crowded. At 9 am there was just us!
The location was also pretty good. Walking distance to Shinkansen station and subway station. I highly recommend you for your Osaka stay.

It is a bit of a walk from JR Osaka station but it is connected by the underground path so that you do not need an umbrella even if it rains.

The hotel has a number of reviews commenting on its white-marble Cinderella meets Liberace aesthetic. It's odd considering the hotel is so new, but hey it's Japan.

Hotel lobby is on the 1st (Japanese/American 2nd) floor and has an odd wet-sheep lanolin smell about it as you ascend the escalator. We later realised this smell appears in other parts of Osaka too.

Twin room offered power outlets to each bed.

Room had a small couch, appearing to be a fold-out sofa-bed.

Bathroom standard Japanese pod-style with limited shelf space.

Window unable to open (possibly only in an emergency, but didn't try to open it)

Lifts were frequent and fast.

Breakfast was standard western/Japanese hotel stuff. Drip filter coffee was very strong. Hot options were usually virtually cold. Bread was usually stale but the pastries (assume par-cooked or frozen) were cooked/heated onsite and fresh.

The hotel is a slight walk south from Osaka station, but close to a few subway stations. Short walk up to Umeda for nightlife and shopping. Still there are restaurants nearby, and a big bottle shop next door.

Overall a pretty good deal for the price.

Nice hotel away from the tourist and craziness

Great hotel, with very peaceful type of environment. About a 10 minute underground walk from Osaka station but the distance really cuts down on the tourist. (A plus for me). The underground walk way also a huge plus as in December it was a little chilly in the early morning and late evening. A great stay.

Everything was wonderful except for one incident with the night desk staff. Japanese are known for politeness and being patient. I know this is one incident but it did give us a bad taste with this experience, especially it was our first night in Japan. My sister in law was in the lobby early in the morning around 1 am, trying to finish her work in the US with her internet. She could not get to open her internet so she asked for help from one young man behind the counter. Whatever the reason was, he lost his temper and cussing and had temper tantrum, his behavior scared my sister in law. His behavior is not acceptable for customer no matter what. Guest should never feel thereaten by staff.

Overall the hotel was decent. The location is convenient (about a 10 minute walk from Osaka Station) and about a 5-7 minute walk to the metro station. The interior of the hotel reminds me of a barbie dollhouse. The room was spacious, but quite tacky. Overall the room was comfortable, however, it was very disappointing that there was no complimentary water bottle.

While design quality was great and rooms looked beautiful they were a little bit impractical in places despite being a good sized room eg double bed against a wall, no room safe, bathroom quite small and no shower gel, no bottled water. Dampened overall stay only slightly but would have made things excellent.

Great location, easy access to shops, restaurants etc. On a busy road but really quiet and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent, masses of choice and all freshly prepared. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was a lack of storage space for clothes. Apart from coat hangers there were no drawers or shelves.

This hotel is well situated. It's very close to Osaka station and several subway lines which makes it extremely easy to get around. The JR lines and bullet trains are also close by.

The hotel itself is clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious (as far as japanese space goes).

The room was an adequate size and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and there were enough electric sockets. There's a slightly odd Cinderella theme to the lobby. Access from the train station was good although slightly confusing. My biggest issue was there initial rigid adherence to the very short stay dictated by their check in of 3pm and check out of 10am. My wife was very unwell and they eventually allowed us to check in at 1.30pm but a rigid 5 hour gap between check out and check in is just too long.

The hotel is convenient for walks the JR station with out worry the weather. Very pretty! Immediately when I step in the elevator to my room there is a strong stinky smell in the whole floor and my room. I don’t know it’s just my floor or the whole hotel. I won’t stay again because of this.
