Big sizable room by Japan standards. Close proximity to Shinsaibashi and shopping district at Dotonbori. Has a 7-11 opposite and a Family Mart around the corner.
Only gripe was that sometimes late at night you get bikers that rev their engines loudly as they ride by. Understandably, this is beyond the hotels control (we stayed 5 nights, it happened two or three times).
Still, overall a solid hotel stay. Would stay again.

The best thing about this hotel is the distance to Dotonbori, combini and shopping areas. Other than that, it's not stroller-friendly (or wheelchair accessible), it's pretty outdated, and on the smaller side.

The room we chose was non-smoking. Unfortunately, when we got in our room it smelled like cigarette. I informed the front desk and just offered cleaning services for they are fully booked. This was our 2nd time to stay in this hotel, first time was fine, but this time it was disappointing because of the smell. Even though the shopping district was only 3 minute walk, I would stay at a different hotel next time.

It is easy to find. 2 blocks from Shinsaibashi station. Walking distance to shopping areas and food places, like Dotonburi. There's a 7-11 just across from lobby entrance to get that on-the-go food 24/7. Rooms aren't brand new but definitely good enough for my standards. Showers were quite small, had to lean for the showers, and I'm average height. I would stay here again. Decent place for the price. Staff were really friendly and super helpful.

Hotel is located less than a 4 mins walk from exit 7 of Shinsaibashi station. Approximately 10 mins walk to Shinsaibashi street and Dotonburi about 15 mins away.

However, did not rate 5 starts for this review as the carpet in the room we had was dirty upon check in. There was also no bottled water provided.

Reception was fluent in english, and check in/out process was smooth.

Poor, guest need to exchange clean towels in lobby

Generally ok, but only 1 cleaning day for 6 night stays. Its ok because i knew it before i booked.

However, hotel would not actively provide clean towels everday, instead, they leave a note and request guest to take the used tower to lobby for exchange clean sets, also they request guest to throw their rubbish to bin in lobby. its terrible and i would not recommend friend of mine to book mystays group hotel in thr future.

This hotel is located in a very convenient area, only few minutes from the train station and within walking distance to some tourist attractions. Service was good, front desk staff were helpful and very friendly.
The only complaint I had about this place was concerning cleanliness. As I walked in, I felt and smelt an unpleasant stench. The room felt humid. When I woke up the second morning, I felt my throat in pain. I looked up at the walls above my bed and on two walls surrounding the bed were clumps of dust. I also noticed that the comforter under the comforter cover was covered in brown stains. I mentioned these things to the front desk and even though I opted out of paying for a cleaning fee, they were kind enough to clean the room for me. The dust was cleaned off, however, I still had to sleep with the dirty comforter. Third night, I was sitting in the bed and noticed a part of my body was very itchy. I noticed multiple red bug bites on one part of my body which may have been bed bugs. It was definitely from the room. I didn’t mention this to the clerks as I was leaving the next day.
Overall, I’m not sure I’d stay here again.

The staff was extremely nice. However the room and the hallways into the room was absolutely disgusting. I know it was a cheap room but the level of uncleanness was BAD. First off the hotel has signs literally everywhere you turn saying no smoking but our room smelled like someone had been chainsmoking for years, as well as the smell of mold. Dust was EVERYWHERE, stains, grime, and what looked like lots of mold. Towels were stained. And one day when we were in the hallway to our room we saw the clean towels on the gross stained floors. I work at a hotel and for the room to be as bad as it is comes from years of very poor cleaning (like only making the beds and cleaning nothing else). If we hadn't already pre-paid we would have left. It was so so so gross but the worst part was the SMELL.

I feel bad leaving such a bad review because the staff at checkin/checkout was very nice but I was just so uncomfortable and felt so ill staying in the room.

The location is convenient but there is a plight steps at the front of the building which might not be good if you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is also a bit old. While well-maintained, its age makes it appear less clean than it actually is.

The only dislike about this hotel is the smell. Even though my room was a non-smoking room, the room (especially bathroom) is filled with the cigarette smoke smell. I supposed its AC system across the entire hotel.

This hotel was perfect. The accommodation was comfortable and decent in size. They even offered me an upgrade which was nice. It was close to lots to do and to the Metro. I also appreciated them having umbrellas for guests to use. I would stay here again.

Budget hotel at a convenient location

This hotel is located just less than 5 mins walk to subway station and the shopping area of Shinsaibashi. We stayed in a superior triple room and it turned out a '25 sq.m room' was a bit cramped and difficult to open three medium size suitcases and three cabin-size ones. Not all staff could speak fluent English so sometimes couldn't help; like we had to fill in our luggage transfer form - in some other hotels we stayed before, hotel staff filled it for us. And some amenities have to be collected from the cabinet at the hotel reception floor. However, the room was clean although compact. Given that the price is comparatively low, no complaints. Liked the coin-operated washing machine and dryer, which cost 500 yens to wash a load. No extra cost for detergent and a self-set passcode makes sure only you can pick up the load.

The room was Clean and bigger than we expected (queen bed).

The only downside is you need to walk stairs with your luggage to the elevator of the hotel.

We found the interior of the electric kettle had rusting issue.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to convenience stores (7-11 and Family Mart) and a few minutes walk from Shinsaibashi station exit 7. (There's also a Starbucks nearby!) It's walking distance to dotonburi and kuromon market. Super convenient location!! The only thing is that the wall is pretty thin so we could hear the people next to our room singing/talking.

The room is smaller than expectation but it is clean and comfortable. The staff in front desk is nice and helpful, especially a female staff who can speck fluent mandarin and a bit cantonese. The hotel location is very convenience. Just a few minutes walk from shinsaibashi station exit no.7, 10 minutes walk to nanba station and easy access to all the shopping spots. Also there is a 7-11 right opposite the hotel and 2 Family mart near by. It is really good if you would like to buy anything to eat at late night.I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for comfortable budget hotel.

Perfect for Osaka, walk from exit 4b at shinsaibashi station.. or the Diamaru shopping center and walk accross the street. Cant remember exactly but a few blocks from this exit. Great hotel, we stayed at the comfort in which is great just for the breakfast.. but, this less busy hotel was great.

Room was clean although small. Service was good. Front office staff were very helpful. They couldn't speak English well but did their best to attend to our enquiries. Best part was the location - subway station just nearby and walking distance to Dotonburi and Namba. There is a 7-eleven opposite the hotel and a Family Mart nearby so very convenient.

The only bad experience was on our first day of arrival. The hotel screwed up our booking and there was no available room for us to check-in. We ended up having to stay over at a nearby hotel which was arranged by the hotel manager for one night before we can check-in the next morning. It was a frustrating moment especially when we were so tired after a red-eye flight and 4-5 hours of travelling from Haneda airport to Osaka. The only saving grace was the hotel manager, Mr Ryoji who was very apologetic and did all he can to arrange for an alternative accommodation for us.

Overall, a pleasant stay.

Semi double room- not bad, had a sofa. Nice staff, comfortable clean room.
Require to climb 10 steps of stairs to reach entrance of hotel, then take lift to lobby on 1st floor.
15-20mins walk from Namba station(airport train), or take metro(red line), 1 stop to Shisaibashi, exit 7(OPA shopping mall), walk 2min to hotel.
Hotel is at American-maru area, trendy cool place, only less then 5mins walk to the main shopping area/ Daimaru dept store.

I've stayed at the Swissotel (Osaka) before and I can honestly say this hotel was also great. The shinsaibashi subway station is only a couple of blocks away. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars in the immediate area. The shinsaibashi shopping area is only a few blocks away. Dontonbori and Namba is a very nice and convenient walk away from this hotel. Oh and the bathroom was really nice.

Stayed here from Dec 20-23, 2016 with 2 adults and an infant. There are no crib available for this hotel. We opted for a room with a bigger bed so this wasn't an issue.

The hotel is very close to all the major shopping and food places

When taking the subway, exit Shinsaibashi exit number 7 and it is less than a 5 min walk to the hotel

The hotel staff was very attentive we had issues with the fridge and our safe and both times they came up promptly (less than 5 minutes).

Even though this is a low budget hotel it is very clean and very spacious. Will come here again.

I only stayed here 1 night, as I was continuing on to Kyoto. The room was small, which is usual in Japan, but very neat and comfortable. I arrived at 10pm, after a long flight, and the 40 minute train trip from Kansai airport, and the staff on reception were helpful and spoke a little bit of English.

There are shops, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
It was a little hard to find from the description. It is behind the train station. You exit onto a main road, then need to turn to the left down a side street. There are very few street signs in Japan, so travellers need to do their homework prior to arrival.

What we like most was its proximity to Dontonburri known for its shopping and food. Subway station was only about 20 meters away and walking distance to Namba station,Convenient, clean but , drop off point from Kansai airport.

Our room was suppose to be for 3 adults, but only got 2 double bed, most uncomfortable for the third person. Room was quite small to have an extra bed.

Disappointed with room-cleaning quality

We live in MyStays Shinsaibashi for two nights during our last two days in Japan, we were extremely excited and happy about our trip. However, when we first entered the room provided by the hotel, we felt really bad about the stinky sweat smell coming out from the restroom. We asked them to fix it for us and it did get better, but the first impression about this hotel was really bad. The most terrible thing that happened to us on our trip is that we lost one of our Pokemon toys with package on it (approximately 31cm, bought on the day we moved into the hotel). We definitely checked the whole room before we left and it was impossible to miss such big stuff in the room while we left the hotel. We contacted the hotel and got feedback that we did not leave anything inside the room and could not do anything for us. After several times of inquiry, we finally knew that the cleaning service was provided by external company and they were not able to provide us satisfactory explanations. We were totally disappointed about the quality of room service, customer service, and most importantly the security of the room. Please make sure everything is in the luggage before leaving the room.

My family of three stayed in room 407 for two nights (Superior triple room, non-smoking) at the hotel. It is very close to Shinsaibashi Station and the pick-up point for the airport limousine express bus.

The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is nicely renovated with a modern look and was big for three beds with amplke bwalking space around. We could even open one of the bigger luggage bags on the floor. Toilet was big the clean. Understood that the hotel was re-renovated in 2015.

Hotel is very close to Shinsaibashi shopping streets and Daimaru. Convenient shops (Lawson and Family Mart) around the corners. The Japanese eatery (sort of Chinese cuisine) next the the hotel is good (fried rice, ramen, cold noodles were good). Choose their lunch sets (worth it).

Washing machines, dryers and a microwave oven were available on the first floor.
