This is my second time staying at dormy inn. The first time was in Tokyo.thwre the hotel felt newer and the onsen was better managed. The onsen at the Osaka branch needs to enforce rules more for guests. During my stay there were so many Korean guests that were loud and noisy in the onsen . Their children ran around the bathing area and played in the bathes. It was very annoying. Worst part is, the older men had the habit of spitting onto the floors as they bathedand didn't even bother using water to wash it away. Many also had tattoos. This is not how a Japanese onsen should be .

Good price, good location.
Room cleaned everyday (option for this) and spacey enough (18 sqm), can leave heater on when leaving the room too.
Onsen is nice, with everything you need there, including lotions.
Elevators are fast.
Streets are a bit busy at night but otherwise no complaints.

The amenities sold me. Everything was clean, worked, free laundry, coffee, tea, desserts, soup at night. The spa was awesome! The breakfast was more expensive then other hotels but worth the $15 USD for the premium selection. For me, most activities were walkable. I felt safe always. The downside, it's in a noisy area, bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper and the pillows were horrible and no English stations on the TV that I could find.
The wifi worked good, you don't need toiletries, they provide them. Laye checkout is offered for a reasonable fee too, as late as 2pm!

部屋にウェルカムドリンクとお菓子があったのはありがたかった。

호텔의 위치는 도톤보리에서 최적의 위치에 있으면서, 방은 적절한 크기로 제공되고 있습니다. 가성비 최고의 호텔입니다. 저녁 9시에 제공되는 도미인 프리미엄 난바의 라멘은 밖에서 사 먹는 라면과 전혀 다르지 않은 퀄리티를 제공합니다. 온천의 시설은 더할 나위 없이 쾌적하면서도 훌륭합니다. 아침 식사는 이런 숙박비를 내고 먹어도 괜찮은가? 걱정이 될 정도로 훌륭했습니다. 오사카를 간다면 두말 하지 않고 다시 찾아갈 곳입니다.

Good area very close to nightlife and dontonbori street. We stayed fri, sat & sun. It was a little loud overnight 1st ywo nights with street noise and ambulance sounds. Sunday night was quieter. Not hotels fault. Just something to be aware of if you want a good night sleep. We stayed in corner room on 14th floor. I would stay at the hotel chain again just not in this area of Osaka. free ramen & ice cream was nice bonus. Also free washers. Dryer did cost money but was worth it to not have to go out.

아침식사는 더없이 좋았습니다.
호텔처럼 화려한 부페는 아니지만 간결하고 따뜻하고 가정식 식사처럼 느껴졌습니다.
깔끔했고, 사람들이 많이 몰리지 않아 편안한 식사 시간이 되었습니다.
대욕장이 있어 하루의 피로를 풀기에 좋았습니다.

3박을 했는데, 한국말을 어느 정도 하시는 스텝분들이어서
이용에 어려움이 없었습니다.
다만 11층에 묵었을때 방이 생각보다 깨끗하지 않아
마지막날 결국 다른 방으로 옮기긴 했습니다.
보이는 곳은 깨끗하고 좋아보였지만,
사람들 손이 닿지 않는 창문 쪽 침대바닥과,
잘 사용하지 않는 것 같은 의자의 바닥시트는 정말 더러웠어요.
양말이 창문 쪽 침대 옆으로 떨어져 주웠는데, 먼지가 정말 하얗게 묻어서 깜짝 놀랐고,
의자 시트 끝쪽에는 먼지가 뿌옇게 앉은 머리카락이 양쪽 사이드에 몇가닥씩 있었습니다.
오랫동안 청소를 안한것 같았습니다.

방을 바꾸는 이유를 묻기에 그냥 좁아서 그렇다고 대답하긴 했지만,
아이가 있어 먼지 많은 곳에서 계속 있기 불편하여
추가지불하고 좀 더 넓은 곳으로 옮겼어요.

청결은 좀 더 많이 신경써야 할 것 같습니다.
청소기 돌릴텐데 먼지가 하얗게 쌓인 숙박이라니...
너무 보이는곳만 깨끗하게 청소하시는게 아닌가 싶네요.
아는분께서 추천해주셔서 이용하였는데
이부분은 실망스러웠습니다.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely excellent. 1. Room: it was the average size of a USA hotel...which is big for Japan. The bed was very comfortable with nice amenities such as slippers and water with ample types of toiliteries. 2. Staff: absolutely the best. Everyone is so courteous and helpful in a very Japanese manner. Staff in this hotel is very functionally fluent in English which was a big difference from my experience in Tokyo. 3. If you enjoy hot spring water, the Asian style hot spring is such a plus. For me, it was the best part of my stay here. Everyone adheres to the rules which makes this experience very serene abd peaceful. The hotel provides all guests with robes that one can wear around the hotel and the hot spring area. 4. Breakfast: The coffee machine is self served wirh fresh geound coffee which was strong enough for Starbucks addicted American like myself. The food was well prepared with heavy slant towards fresh Japanese breakfast items....which I welcomed. There are western pasteries but dont expect a full on Western bkfast food.

I have become a fan of Dormny Inn and am planning to stay in Dormny whenever I visit Japan and Korea.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The customer service was horrible. No english. At the reception four employee availabe but they asked to do the check in at the kiosk. The rooms are very small and dark. The walls are dirty. The light switches dirty. The bed spread stained. The bad sheets old. The carpet dirty. Something fell on the floor and i use a wet napkins, was black. Very bad experience.

The location is good but the hotel is getting old. The area is a bit noisy and will not recommend single travel lady to stay at the hotel. Also, the staff English level has room for improvement, they can’t even suggest us for transportation to airport as I had an early flight. Great place, clean, safe and quiet. Has a real-time crowded or not for their onsen. Convenient to be able to pick our time soaking in the warm waters. We paid extra for their breakfast and found that it was outstanding! Close to the Dontonbori area where there are many shops and restaurants close by to chose from.

4박5일 편하게 사용한 호텔

호텔 위치가 남바 주요 도로에 위치해 있다보니 지하철로 이동하기 좋습니다.

그리고 근처에 Doton Praza 가 있는데, 거기에서 Kansai Airport 로 오가는 Bus 탈 수 있습니다..
저걸 몰라서 호텔로 올 땐 짐 무겁게 들고 다니면서 고생했는데, 집에 갈 땐 편하게 갔습니다.

1층에 편의점 있어서 편의점에서 간식사기엔 좋습니다. 편의점 자체도 큰 편이고, 물건도 많아요.

일하시는 분들도 다들 친절하시고 간단한 영어로 대화 소통 가능합니다. 그리고 한국어 잘하시는 분들도 계시고, 간단한 대화도 한국어로 할 수 있는 분들도 좀 계셔서 편했습니다.

방은 처음에 들어가면 조금 좁아 보일 수 있는데, 막상 지내기엔 크게 불편하지 않습니다.

시설은 전반적으로 깔끔하게 관리되고 있습니다.

샤워부스가 생각보다 작아서 불편하다고 생각하실 수 있는데, 이 호텔의 최고 장점은 2층에 있는 대욕탕 입니다.
대욕탕 무료로 사용할 수 있는데, 굳이 좁은 샤워부스에서 씻을 필요가 없어요..
씻는다 = 대욕탕 간다 라고 생각하시면 펀합니다.

조식도 깔끔하고 맛있었습니다.

저녁 9시30분 ~ 11시30분 까진가? 시간이 조금 가물가물한데 여튼 그 시간대 2층 식당 가시면 간장베이스 라멘 줍니다. 무료니 한번은 꼭 챙겨서 드셔보세요.

다음에 오사카 방문시, 최소 1박은 무조건 여기서 할 생각입니다.

Good location near by the papular tourism spots. The room is clean and facility is great. The only thing is not meet our expectation which it is the breakfast. On some of YouTube video shows the the was unlimited ikura for a seafood don, but actually it only has salmon sashimi mixed few ikura. Some of breakfast dishes were not tasty as it shows. That's not worthy for the breakfast price. You can get a better breakfast out there with the same price.

Visited and stayed in Osaka before, but it is my first time staying around Namba area. A bit of a distance from the nakai/JR lines but walkable. Took quite long to locate the hotel at first but once get familiarised, you will be able find your way around easily. You can’t go wrong with Dormy Inn chain. Their amenities are great. Breakfast is delicious. They were able to keep my luggage for me for 3 days before I returned to stay for another 2 nights.

The onsen is not tattoo friendly.

My partner and I booked this hotel specifically because of the on site onsen. Knowing that tattoos are still not allowed in lots of places I checked their website and couldn't see any mention of a tattoo ban. When we went to use the onsen on our first night we noticed the signs up on the door.

Other than the onsen the hotel is ok, good location and reasonably comfortable. The room was a weird set-up as the entry doubles as the bathroom but is also carpeted? They do have a freezer full of free ice cream though, which is a nice touch!

I really liked the onsen, it was my very first experience of one and I wish I can have that every night after a day of traveling. The breakfast was okay for one day, it is a buffet but a bit pricey if you do not eat a lot. The pillows in the bed though really made me cry, it was literally so uncomfortable I bought a pillow and it was still uncomfortable. Just a warning to any traveler, not a big deal but those pillows are terrible. Loved the kind staff, live the food, the area the FamilyMart right next to the hotel and love the free snacks of ice cream and a light dinner of free ramen at night and probiotic yogurt in morning. Just a 5 minute walk to Dontonbori area and can eat and shop your heart out.

宿泊中、スタッフの対応があまり親切ではないと感じました。子供用のスチームローブをお願いしたにもかかわらず、大人用の中サイズのローブしか提供されず、子供への配慮が欠けていました。また、道順を尋ねた際、紙を渡されるだけで、きちんとした説明がなく、自分で読むように求められました。このような対応の欠如にはがっかりしました。

The room isn't big enough for 4 adults. There were only 2 tiny single beds with 2 small futon size mattresses that we pulled from inside a storage space. There was hardly any room for luggages or to move around. We booked for 4 people, but the room was only big enough for 2!!! Hardly any communication from staff. Our check in and out was done via kyosk. Not recommended at all.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Dotonbori, restaurants, and metro stations. Family Mart is connected to the hotel, with Lawson and 7 Eleven across the street so convenient for the late night snack runs. Because it is located near the tourist area, the surrounding streets are dirty, and noisy at night so may be difficult to sleep for light sleepers. We enjoyed the free ice pops, Yakult, and ramen, but the onsen is nothing much to rave about. It’s small and the change rooms don’t have towels, so make sure to remember to bring your own from your room. Staff are friendly and ready to help, but you may need a translator app as sometimes English is limited. Rooms are small, especially the shower, but we were rarely in the hotel as we were mostly out exploring. The bed is comfortable enough but the pillow is a bit on the harder side. Recommended for a budget hotel

It is near dotouburi and Shinsaibashi area and 2 train stations. Facing the main road makes it easier and safer to locate late at night. We like the public bath amenity which is opened even at midnight. We did not use the free ramen offered in the night.

The experience is adversely affected by a rude staff (a bespectacled Chinese lady) when we enquired about the PIN required for the usage of the female public bath.

Staff are helpful. So, convenient family mart is just next door. Short walk to the train stations and to shopping areas. The onsen is great to soak at night.

Great hotel. When were went, there was no full cleaning room service, which didn’t really bother me. Rooms seemed a bit older and could smell cigarette smoke a little bit, but I got nose blind to it quickly. So incredibly close to Dotonbori. KUROMON market is very walkable. Free ice desserts were amazing. Breakfast was my good. No complaints about it. My partner used the onsen, she liked it.

A good option for the price. Walkable to the popular areas and super clean. Staff were great! Star docked because they had THE WORST pillows I’ve ever experienced in a hotel and charge for better ones. Seemed pretty ridiculous. You’d be better off with a rock for a pillow than the ones they provide. Overall a good experience minus the pain in my neck.
