Amazing hotel. Very well located. Can reach train station and shopping from underground when it's raining. Staff is very helpful. Special mention to Sara at Conciergerie that helped us so much and sent us to many great restaurants.
We will go back for sure.

Rooms were very spacious we stayed in the Junior suites at the Ritz and was very happy with our room,
The staff were absolutely amazing they made our family trip even more special with the outstanding service they all provided, everyone was so polite and attentive nothing was ever an issue.
Location was close to eateries and attractions were only 10min in a taxi that were readily available.
I will definitely be staying here again
Overall The Ritz Carlton is a 9.5 out of 10

The Ritz @ Ōsaka was one of the best experiences in our wonderful trip to Japan. From the front door you can feel the genuine service from all the staff. The tea lounge, the breakfast buffet am penalized with a live piano player, the easy access to metro station, the amazing Umeda view at night from our luxurious and elegant room, the splendid French cuisine at Le Baie - Michelin restaurant. All together made my wife Bday experience unforgettable. Special thanks for to Mounir at the lobby, Ayumi at the buffet, Chef Christophe at Le Baie, and Simon for making our stay very memorable. Definitely we will be back. 10/10.

This Hotel location is the best near a train station and amazing luxury stores. I paid extra for he breakfast buffet and to be honest, I do not think it was worth it. The quality of the food was not 5 stars.

Simon the manager was so amazing and thoughtful took care of our family in every possible way. The staff was out of this world Every little detail they seemed to know what we needed and wanted before even thinking about it. We celebrated my son’s birthday and I cant think of a better place than the Ritz to stay. Every day I was more surprised than the previous about how thoughtful they were in making our stay as perfect as it could get. Mounir my French friend will be missed. Just how cozy it felt to be there and all the help in arrangements for our birthday celebration and advises on how to get around. I was sadly under the weather one day and they took care of me like family. This trip will certainly be memorable. Thank you Simon and the entire staff for such a beautiful time

We will stay here again.

Very beautiful Ritz in the center of Umeda. It is connected to Osaka station via underpass, about 8 minutes walk. Room is spacious and elegantly decorated. Hotel restaurants and lounges are equally elegant and up-scale. Loyalty manager checked us in and checked us out. A gentleman from New Zealand, indeed very welcoming. Endless dining options around.

Ritz Carlton hotel has been the best hotel my wife and I have stayed.
The staff at the check in counter, doorman, restaurants and servers are top notched.
The Manager actually took us to our room after check in and showed us around the hotel.

It is simply the Best Hotel

Perfect place to recharge our energy !

Perfect two days in Osaka to rest after four days in Tokyo . My daughter and her friend and I all visited the outdoor jacuzzi and had a Lovely time. The attendant even brought us cold water bottles! Breakfast buffet was excellent for my two travelling companions who are vegans. Memorable stay

I was treated like royalty. Everyday I was greeted warmly by the Ritz Carlton team when I came in and went out. I had not been to Osaka for 12 years so, I had forgotten somethings. No worries. The staff researched places to go, restaurants, Shinkansen timetables, you name it. They made me feel like I was special even though I am just a regular Joe.

Great Service!

We had a group of 8 adults and 1 child so we constantly have to contact the concierge to help us book our van and book our reservations for dinner. The concierge team we superb! During our first dinner on our arrival night, the concierge team even called us at the restaurant to made sure if we needed any help. That was a real surprise.
The housekeeping was really sweet too. We left the hotel after housekeeping usual hours. They cleaned up our room even though we didn’t contact them. That’s a plus for services.
Overall, the hotel’s service was awesome, everyone in the hotel was very willingly to help. Would totally come back again.

The Schitz-Carlton Osaka

Because I had chosen the \"Pay at the hotel\" option when booking I expected to pay in local currency (Yen) when I checked out. Upon check-in I was asked to put down a credit card, I did not want to incur any charges on that card so I asked the girl checking us in if there would be a hold placed on the card; she assured me that there would be no hold on my credit card and that only any future charged amenities would be charged to that account at check out. This was a Lie, they put a hold on the full amount of my anticipated stay ($1,650) and did not remove the hold for another six days after I had checked out and paid my bill in full in cash. This caused me to incur a number of overdraft service charges due to unavailable funds and considerable inconvenience in necessary explanations. When I told them about this they just blew it off as a \"teachable moment.\" In the future I will avoid having their employee incompetence become my accounting nightmare by booking with their competitor. The Imperial Hotel Osaka is a little out of the way, but they really care about their customers.

Lacing Atmosphere and Overpriced

Pricing of food and drink in this hotel can only be described as predatory. It has an old fashioned, confusing and fusty layout. The bars are deadly boring with a crushing dull atmosphere. For a 5 star hotel, the breakfast service is an absolute disgrace with long queues for food, a cheap cafeteria ambience and, given the room and breakfast rates, should be enlarged and overhauled in the immediate future. Based on ou experience in Osaka, I would be very hesitant about staying in any Ritz Carlton Hotel again.

Beautiful hotel with amazing sevice! We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and the lady at reception was kind enough to upgrade our room. I also made a mistake in my booking that was completely my responsibility but the hotel worked with me and had it resolved. They really go above and beyond. Breakfast was amazing with wide variety and excellent quality. Location was right next to Osaka train station and near upscale shopping area. Osaka castle was around 12 minutes by cab, or around 20 minute trains on the train.
