Room very spacious with seating other than the bed. Decor is quite dark and very masculine feeling. The bathroom was cleanish but had a slight old smoke smell to it. Staff were a bit indifferent but ok. My biggest concern was security- the lift and all floors were accessible to anyone from the street ( unlike other hotels were you need your room key to access your floor) . However our stay was fine and ok for one night.

We were here for two nights. The hotel was just as pictured. It’s not close (IMO) to any stations or even bus stops, but we still enjoyed our stay. It was clean, the tub was deep and the beds were comfortable! The breakfast had 5 options that were delicious. You could even choose to get it to go. Things to note, there’s no gym, business center, massage services or laundry. We went down the street for laundry. $10 for one load. Oh, also I thought it was cool that there’s a Family Mart located on the first floor!

Very good hotel, tucked away on a quieter street but still very convenient to walk to the train stations. It felt just a tad dated, but nothing I'd complain about. The room was large by Tokyo standards. The staff was excellent at arranging our luggage transfer. It was also very convenient to have the Family Mart on the bottom floor. We did not try the breakfast.

Hotel room carpet is dark grey, wall is 1/2 painted black, light is dim, and oversized desk is black. OMG. You feel like you’re sleeping in a dungeon. Good luck finding anything you drop on the floor. Bring a flashlight with you. Interior designer should be fired for bad design.

Well I don’t know how they still have smoking rooms and well I guess business hotels. They need to put air purifiers in the hallways. Thank goodness the rooms do not smell. Service was pretty good not the best, but they cared and tried their best! The hotel was small but bed against the wall made it feel a little safer when sleeping with baby.

Decent room, somehow I had a smoking room selected, even though I requested no smoking. Staff immediately fixed this at no cost. I had a view of the roof which sucked, AC was nice and cold, fridge was cold but had to leave the room key in and they only gave me one key so fridge would get hot if I took the key. Vending machine right outside our room with coffee water and Asahis (really cool!). 7/11 right downstairs or a family mart at the bottom of hotel. 10 minutes walking to the Osaka main station.

The staff were polite and friendly.
The room was dirty. Dust and dirt all over the bed and floor.
You smell smoke all over the hotel, especially the elevators, and in the room even we took a man smoking room.
The bathrooms old and squeaky and it may have mold.

I recommend staying away from this hotel.

Great price. I wish they collected trash from rooms daily even if yhey only clean every 3 days. Due to no public trash cans around Japan, my kids and I bring home the trash to the hotel after each day. It accumulated since the trash was only collected during rokm cleaning done every 3 days.
Other than that, good hotel.

I don't speak Japanese but the female staff members at the front desk did a very good job communicating with me. They helped me check into the hotel and were able to explain to me how the hotel operates. They were very respectful, friendly, and spoke clearly in English. To the front desk staff, thank you very much for your help.

A smokey, dim joint surrounded by dungeon

Accepted a smoking room as non-smokings were all taken, but didn’t expect the residual smoke to be as pervasive and rancid as it was. Combined with the ubiquitous black decor and dim lighting, the place gave, dare I say it, a mob haunt aesthetic.

Hotel needed a better lobby: somewhere to sit for a short while and maybe enjoy a coffee while waiting for other people. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly however.

While the local neighborhood is rich with amenities, the local train stations are renowned as the ‘Umeda dungeon’. Navigating the area is extremely difficult. Even with Google Maps and some ability to read Japanese, I got lost and circled for literally two miles trying to reach the hotel from Osaka main station. You can’t reach destinations purely above ground, and underground is a disorienting labyrinth.

And aboit 10-15 minutes walk to the Herbis bud stop airport limousine bus that take you from <=> Kansai Airport terminal 1,2 for 1800¥

Good location a few blocks from Umeda Station. Lots of places to eat around there. Umeda Station is basically a mega shopping complex and this hotel is close. Skip the breakfast package. Nothing special. Typical small rooms. Good only for 1 person.

Amazing service for the price. Needed to have a quick stop over and it is much cheaper than the hotels directly next to Osaka Station. During this stay there was construction happening around the building during the day but it wasn’t even noticeable.

Solid place to stay for the price. But the room was very, very small. Like barely any room to unpack. Was also feeling a bit older and more run down than I expected. Like the shower ceiling had lots of brown spots and the pillows have definitely seen many heads. But again, solid for the price, nothing really bad (just lower end), and the staff is very helpful and accommodating to English speakers.

Wasn’t a really bad stay or option, it can be a little difficult to find because the fronts of the property are located in an alley as oppose to the street front. Otherwise, it’s not bad option and are situated in downtown Osaka. There were surprisingly a good handful of eateries and Osaka Sakurabashi Station’s entrance is not too far away from the property and it is about a 20 min walk from the Umeda Sky Building as well

not only are they not prepared for such an obvious question but 3 people at the front desk couldn't be bothered to even try. the price is too high here for such lazy service.

The room with beds was roomy but bathroom so small, no complimentary water bottles TV: only had some Japanese channels the only English Channel not working, not a smart tv so no internet/YouTube or phone mirroring becoming more coming these days. Did have a Family Mart underneath which was good.

It is a 10-min walk from Umeda and linked via underground stations. The price is friendly and it was a comfortable stay where it had more room space than your typical Jap hotel room. We stayed 4 nights. There is also a family mart just downstairs (part of the building) and other brands nearby. Only pain point is that there are no nearby lifts if you're accessing from underground and have to carry your luggage up the painful staircase. Definitely an option next trip!

This is not the first time staying in this hotel an definitely not the last.
Really like to location of this place, convenient and near the train station, with Family Mart and 7-11 just below the hotel. Tried the hotel breakfast too. Basic and good enough to last till the next meal

Only complain I have is the cold conditioner in the room is centrally managed, and it’s just too warm for me. Had to have the window open once in the while to get some fresh air in

Location is central but off the busy streets. Hotel allows smoking in some areas so be aware. No security card swipe to access rooms and room layout is a bit awkward use of the space, and is clean and modern though could use updating. Typical Japanese hotel. Great pricing and okay for short stay in and out of hotel.

Arrived at Osaka station on a rainy day. Took a cab to the hotel for 630yen. After resting for a while the rain stopped and we found the entrance nearby leading to the underground shopping and subway. Hence, it's easy getting around Osaka using the rail & transit system from the hotel.

The location is great, staff are very friendly and useful. There is no aircon when we stayed there for two nights, the hotel has given us a fan and we had to open the window to get some air in. The bath has no fan, you can only have a quick shower or you need to leave the bathroom door open to let some air in.

Hotel is a short walk from Osaka Station in a quiet side street. Rooms are large and well designed, breakfast includes a varied selection of cold and hot foods. Many shopping options and restaurants in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I am next in Osaka.

Hotel is about a 5/10 minute walking distance to Osaka Station. We stayed in a Queen room and found it to be well appointed and quite a good size by Japanese standards. Breakfast was excellent and included hot and cold foods. There are many restaurants in the area and shopping options. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this Hotel again.

We stayed here for 6 nights as a base for Osaka,Kobe, Nara, Kyoto exploring.
The hotel location isn't far from Osaka JR Station. There a multitude of subways that lead back to Osaka station,other lines and Osaka subway line s as well. Tip.you can walk underground to the station,but to get back to hotel without getting confused,stick to the surface. The hotel is basic.not the best MyStays Premier we have stayed in. The breakfast are rather limited in choice. Nothing altered in 6 days so assume that's all they ever serve. Room was big enough. Bathroom not the smallest I've Ben in. Had a huge desk which gave extra place to place things plus s proper chairs. Overall adequate,if you don't have a fetish for varietal breakfasts!
One negative was the noise, mainly sirens at night. We sleep with the window open( yes not all hotels gave opening windows but this one did ) so expect some noise.also foot traffic noise even though we were on the 6th floor

Very nice hotel that is really close to Osaka station, approximately an 8min walk. It made it very to get around and see what Osaka has to offer! The hotel staff were excellent and so accommodating allowing us a very early check in and fixing a booking mistake from a smoking room to non smoking. The ammenities were fabulous, the bed was very comfortable and the room size was great especially for Japan! Very happy with our stay and would highly recommend and stay again in the future.

An excellent hotel quite close to Osaka train station. Our room was immaculately prepared and cleaned, very comfortable and had every device one could possibly need as a guest. The staff spoke perfect English with a US accent. One small problem was the lack of a coin laundry, my mistake in not checking this before our trip rather than any fault of the hotel. A very high class hotel but perhaps aimed more at business people or quite wealthy tourists who can more easily afford in -house laundering services.

Good value for “business hotel” in nightlife area

The Premier moniker definitely indicates the property is a level up from the usual MyStays. Much larger room (still by Japanese standards) and higher grade furnishings for a “business hotel”, but by no means luxury grade.

Lobby is on 2F, and the bars and such on 1F are a plus or minus depending on your view of such things. Hotel is located in a nightlife area so it’s par for the course really.

This is a very nice hotel located near Osaka Station and a number of excellent restaurants. We stayed here twice during our ten day stay in Japan and enjoyed the location, breakfast and front desk service. Good Staff!!
