The room and bed were good but there was this musty smell that never went away for the 5 days I stayed. Even with the air purifier it didn't help.
Other than that, the building was nice. Very convenient location with a 2 minute walk to the metro.

I would still come back and stay here. Just maybe my room at that time was unfortunate.

I liked the breakfast and the overall condition of the hotel. Having custom pillow options was awesome and a really good idea. My issue was - and maybe is a foreigner problem, but the bed is extremely hard and painful to sleep on and caused me sleep issues. The room overall was an odd triangle shape which isn't that bad, but there was no working desk space for my laptop. The English instructions are translated poorly and chat gpt could do a better job at it these days.

This hotel was great. There is in-unit laundry with free laundry detergents. There is also a public bath that is clean and well-maintained. It is close to a station but it is quite far from the central city of Osaka. The area have a lot of local Japanese restaurants. The room itself is quite small but perfect for a solo traveler.

Nice hotel a short walk to the train station and plenty of food and shopping options outside. It is a bit out of the way from the main part of Osaka but you can take the train which is around 10- 15 mins.
I liked the hotel facilities and Onsen with the roof bath tubs.
The hotel was quiet and I slept well.
Negatives, the window was obscured so you couldn't see outside. I am not sure I would have booked this had I have known as it made reading difficult as the lighting was very poor. Also, the sockets were not positioned in a good place as it where you put your pillow. The TV was also positioned at an angle so you couldn't view from the bed. It would have been better if it had been fitted with a tilted bracket. The layout of the room was not great for Japan standards.

The hotel is only 3 minutes away on foot. Very convenient. Free good coffee all day near the front desk, and plenty of space for seating. The roof floor is onsen style large bath. Free for the guests as well.

Astil is an amazing bargain for what you get. The rooms look like brand new and the amenities and spa (onsen) are over the top.
Juso itself reminds me of Japan in the 70's, but it still has everything you need including a shrine. There's at least 5 notable famous food institutions that people come to Juso for. I came in from Shin-Osaka station and have relatives who live near Takarazuka...so Juso is a perfect mid-point that makes going anywhere super convenient.
There is only 2 washing machines which makes them high in demand. I was able to wash/dry clothes, which made this another reason to stay.
High recommend.

We loved staying at this hotel in Osaka. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was modern and clean. The location itself is great with it being close to the train stations, along with plenty of shops and food stalls nearby.

It was also nice to go across the street for food that stayed open past midnight! Highly recommend this property.

Astil Juso Precious was great even though the train/subway lines are a little confusing. We liked the modern room style and that the sink was separate from the bathroom. One thing that could improve the room would be a place to hang your towels - there are no towel bars or hooks. One issue for us is that the laundry washer did not seem to have enough detergent - and it doesn't indicate that you need to add your own. Our clothes did not smell clean - we asked the staff if we were supposed to add detergent and they said no and that it was \"okay\". So we went out and bought fabric spray and sprayed our clothes in the dryer and after we took them out of the dryer. Overall we had a happy 3 night stay here. We highly recommend Yakitori Kicchou Izakaya across the street.

Lots and lots of different and excellent dining options in the neighborhood. Although you need to be mindful of going out in the evening because Juso has heavy soliciting near the shopping districts.
As for the hotel itself, this was a very good hotel for its price. To the point I do not want to make the place too well known. It's also only a short train/bus ride to Umeda/Osaka.
