The best thing about the property is the location. Stayed during Rod Run they sent me a message the day of that we couldn’t park a scooter there and firmly let me know it would be ask to be moved. Service seemed forced. One guy in the evening was very nice. Pool wasn’t ready, elevator was broke, we were in the 3rd floor and had to carry everything upstairs, it was fixed the next day. Beds were lumpy. Plenty of room for the 5 of us just not good sleep. The place could be a great place if they took a little more care of it. Trash, mattresses, alcohol bottles were laying around the grounds. I tried to cancel and move to another hotel but was told it was non refundable. Some cleaning and care for the place would make a HUGE difference.

The room was not clean. Blow of stained pillow. I had to clean out the jacuzzi tub before using it and the sheets smelled and looked dirty. The towels smelled as well. Hair all over the bathrooms. Neither blow dryer worked. Key quit working multiple times. Once was at 5:30 am no one stays at the property over night so I had to call emergency number multiple times before getting an answer then had to wait 20 mins to get another key made. Expensive stay and a bad experience.

Was dried brown water spots with black mold growing on the wood trim and drywall on ceiling. Wood paneling on ceiling was warped from being wet previously. Had an asthma n allergy attack from the molds in the room. No staff in the front office to call for concerns or to check out.

Room was not ready when I arrived. Given room key that didn’t work. Then it stopped working the next day as well. Breakfast goes from 8am-9:30am so if you’re a early riser that wants to get out and adventure right away there’s no way you’ll be taking advantage of that.

The room was very dirty and run down. There were holes in the walls in both bathrooms. Several light fixtures either didn’t work, or didn’t have light bulbs. The pillows were extremely flat, and mattresses were all three very hard and creaky. Walls and fan blades were covered in both dust and dirt smudges. The upstairs shower drain was clogged with hair. The downstairs floor was peeling up and had many holes in the high traffic areas.

We stayed in honeymoon suite it’s absolutely huge and the jacuzzi and fireplace was amazing we went for new years( we have for last 5 years) and this is the absolute perfect location to the island we go 8-10 times a year to the smokies and found this place 3 months ago and have stayed 3 times since and this will be our first choice from now on

It is in a great location, walkable, convenient to many area attractions including Dollywood. The loft rooms held the 4 of us easily but would be great for large families as long as your bedtime is all the same. However, it is aging, linens should be replaced, towels were stained although clearly washed. If you are not picky it is worth it.

The lamp by the kind size bed did not work. The rooms phone to call front office did not work. Jacuzzi tub in our loft was dirty, had to clean it before use. Dust all hanging from the ceiling. The complimentary shampoos on the bathroom counter were covered in some type of crusty gunk. Honestly dont think i would go back. Gfi was tripped and light did not work above the jacuzzi. There was a hole in the wall of our bathroom. The dresser in our room was falling apart. Honestly wish i could just get my money back frome my stay. Was not satisfied at all

The staff was terrific. However our location was infront of an elevator and parking. The noises were nonstop throughout the day and night. The bed was uncomfortable and there was almost no hot water running in the shower. Also, our room key wouldn’t work off and on. For the price it was definitely not worth the stay. The only problem I have is if you were a smoker, you had to stand in the middle of the parking lot, which at night felt unsafe, even though nobody said in the nice outdoor lounging area you were barred from that area. Place needs a complete update! The photos are incredibly deceiving. What little updates that were made were done poorly or half done. Our door must have been broken into at one point because it took two people to lock it. the fireplace was broken, lights were being balanced by leaning on the wall. The back next to the elevator by the parking lot for guests smelled so bad of cat pee and looked like a junk yard! The one thing that was nice about the hotel was the convenience of the location and that was about the only nice thing about it. Definitely will be staying elsewhere!

We stayed in a King suite with jacuzzi… everything was so nice! The room was extra large with a kitchenette and living room area. It was clean and had coffee for the Keruig and toiletries in the bathroom. The service desk was so helpful with information about things going on in the area such as Rod Run. Breakfast was provided and was grab-and-go with a lot of selections. We will stay again!

The room was spacious and accommodating for five adults on a six day stay. All amenities listed at the time of booking were provided. The beds were comfy and rooms surprisingly quiet with minimal noise from other guests or pets staying there. This quaint hotel is in a perfect location with multiple attractions within walking distance. I would highly recommend this facility for folks looking for a relaxing no frills pet friendly place to lodge. The only down side was the meager self serve breakfast offered in a small space in the office. All else was outstanding. I would definitely give a thumbs up and stay here again.

Overall our stay was ok. We had higher expectations of the room and facilities for the cost. Only 1 normal sized AC unit for a large room with a loft. Main bath was updated recently and had a nice shower, but that’s about it for positives. The location is the only saving grace for our stay, it is in a great location and made access to a lot of attractions and restaurants within walking distance. They either need to improve the overall condition of the lodge or make the rooms more affordable.
