Please note, the pool facility that is listed on this rental is not available for this condo. There are two separate HOA’s, and two separate pools. As a result Homestead and Lodgepole have their own smaller pool. The pool that is listed on this rental is for the Pines HOA. Please update this because it is deceiving. We come here a lot for the bigger pool and we were not able to access it this time.

A Little Bit of Heaven
We were at the Vail wine Festival anbd decided to stay here overnight before retuning to Denver. We had a 2 bedroom, my wife and I and a friend who travels with us. We were shocked at the size of the unit. It was huge. Large dining room, big kitchen and double Livingroom area and an outside patio with chairs and table area. The kitchen had every device you would ever want and some you had not thought of. They were arranged impeccably. The bedrooms were large, each one with it's own bathroom. I cannot say enough about how spectacular our room was.

We have 2 seniors in our group, one with COPD at a higher altitude then use to. We have a two story condo on the third food. When we asked for a different location we were told nothing was available. This limited our ability to come and go.

This was a lovely condo however, there were several issues with the cookware, kitchen and in general. I am a well experienced cook and had a big challenge with the pots and pans which were so cheap they made cooking anything on the stove next to impossible. One frying pan I had to repair myself because the handle was falling off. Come to find out the dishwasher did not work and after some investigating my husband realized it was due to the hot water valve being shut off under the sink. It leaked profusely when we turned it back on so left it off during our stay. This made it pretty tough to wash dishes even by hand. The heating system was also a bit off.. we were only able to control the heat in the bedrooms which was always the hottest spot in the condo. There were also blinds in the main room that were broken, conveniently In front of the deck door making it tough to access the deck. Lastly the door to the outside did not lock properly, however the actual unit was secure so we weren’t too concerned. Everdeck.

The hotel was perfect beautiful. Wish there was some dish soap at the sink, but I get it. Major problem was the outside grounds we couldn’t get through with the snow. We figured if we left a little later, the walkway would be clear, but we left at an little after 10 and they were still covered in snow. Maybe 10 inches?
The walk way is maybe as long as my walkway 30 feet give or take. I saw the guy out there with the snowblower, but it looked like he had just started.
Other than this it was a perfect getaway. I Would recommend but don’t bring your elderly parents unless you wanna shovel your way through.

My family and I had a great stay! Place was conveniently located close to the pool complex and bus shuttle to the ski resort. We stayed in a one bedroom loft and it was more spacious than we expected. The pull out sleeper sofa was one of the most comfortable pull out sofas I've slept on. We got lucky with our assigned unit, as you don't know exactly which unit you'll get when booking (other than 1 bdrm king bed w/loft). Highly recommend this place if you're planning a trip to Keystone!

We stayed in Homestead 2027. It was very clean and roomy. Hardwood floors throughout but bedrooms. When reserving it said two twin beds...we got a double. The TV in the livingroom never worked, two people came to look at it, said it was broke. Was offered to see if they could move us but the 6 of us had an exhausting day and did not sound appealing to pack up. We did have a tv in the master bedroom but would have been nice to have the one in the livingroom. The thermostat gave us fits and we had it turned all the way down and it was ridiculously hot, got it working properly our last day. The view is beautiful. We got there in the dark and it was difficult to see. We used the kitchen, pretty much had everything but a 9x13 pan. Kids used hot tub and pool, it was nice. A bit dark in the pool area in the eve, maybe needs pool lights. We would stay again but I think I'll leave Colorado visits to the summer!

The condo was just what we needed. Although it was a little dated, it was comfortable with the exception of the bunk beds. The mattress’s on the bunk beds were literally unsleepable and need to be replaced. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. Bring your own cooking spices though. Overall, check in was easy, location was excellent with shuttles to the ski lifts, and the sidewalks were kept in good shape despite the snow and ice. Four wheel drive was never needed on the premises. We would stay again.

I received a confirmation email but did not receive any check in instructions. As the day wore on I called Keystone and they said they don't have anything to do with VRBO reservations, so I called VRBO. After two calls and approximately an hour on hold, the agent was able to contact the lister (who turned out to be Expedia) and get me check in instructions emailed.
I checked in at the main Keystone check in building around 9:00pm and after wandering a bit to find the building and unit I lugged six suitcases up three flights of stairs only the find the unit totally uncleaned. Dirty dishes in the sink, dirty bathrooms, beds not made, etc. The unit itself looked worn but would have been okay had it been cleaned.
The Keystone team was apologetic and moved me to a different unit that was nicer, so thankfully I wasn't stuck in the dirty unit. Overall a very difficult experience. Next time I go to Keystone I will book directly on the Keystone website - at least the reservation and communication would have been easier.

Check in process was ok, there was a significant language barrier, but that wasn’t a huge deal. It’s pretty straight forward. In the effort to go net zero there are now no maps to tell you where you are going, this can make the parking process at night difficult. The one bedroom was very big, and very nice for two exceptions: 1) rat traps set out in clear site 2) there were crumps and nuts left in the fold out bed.
The pool/hot tube were out of date in need of renovation and the bathroom at the pool resembled a truck stop bathroom outside of the sturgis bike rally. Absolutely disgusting. Some punk kids had destroyed it one night but the previous night it was pretty gross.

Pool Closures - False Advertising
Incredibly disappointed that the on-site pools were closed. We intentionally booked this accommodation as the Hotels.com website states that the pools were open - this is incorrect. We left the slopes early so our young children could use the pool (the youngest of which had repeatedly asked about the pool ALL day). Hotels.com are misleading individuals and giving false information. According to the resort company, they have informed Hotels.com several times to change the information on their website but they have failed to do so.

what an amazing find. was a little wary of some reviews but we stayed at a 1-bedroom unit at homestead that was cozy and comfortable. perfect for a couples getaway. dillon was just a 8-10 min drive down 6, where you can find everything you need, including some basic outlet shopping. we didn’t mind the drive the breck or vail, and there are a couple of great ski areas within minutes of the cabin. we will be going back!

Overall a good stay. Not sure what cleaning they did prior to our coming but because they did not specifically state we did our own. Condo was nice and clean. Very difficult to get the heat regulated. Parking is kind of weird, on grounds but you have little wheel barrows that can only take your gear to the stairs, then you have to carry from there. Pain if you have lots of stuff for mountain play. But beautiful area.

We stayed here with my adult daughter to watch the first snowfall of the season. The view was incredible and the space was amazing! One burner did not work on the stove and it was lacking in cookware such as a large skillet and basic spices and oil. We made due and enjoyed the fireplace with wood stacked at the door and the trail behind the condo. Highly recommend this place!

The hotel was beautiful but it needs a lot of communication from employees from shift to shift. First we got there at 5am. Long flight nobody gave us directions on how to get there at the reception. We had to go twice back and ford. They gave us the wrong address. Then asked about activities around and they had no idea which was weird. This is a vacation type of stuff so they should be familiar with tourists. Then we want it to rent a movie but when we called the stuff they said we couldn't i mean we should be able to pay for it. They should make it easier for the tourist. Need more pillows and blankets. Other than that. Hotel was clean.
