Quiet and affordable, these spacious accommodations take full advantage of their spectacular setting and provide a secluded mountain lodging experience - but are just a short shuttle ride to the ski lifts and resort amenities. Forest condos are situated near the banks of the Snake River, the Summit County paved rec path, and just a short, scenic walk from Lakeside Village.
The Forest condos are comprised of three beautifully designed complexes, Keystone Gulch, Wild Irishman or Flying Dutchman, and feature spacious condos of 500 to 1, 400 sq ft. Some of these condos are accessed by one or two exterior flights of stairs, and are not equipped with elevators.
All accommodations feature cozy fireplaces and have access to outdoor pools and hot tubs, as well as on-site laundry, ski storage and complimentary shuttle service easily taking you from the quiet neighborhood to the hustle and bustle of resort activity. Check-in begins at 4 PM.
Check-in will be at the Keystone Condo Reception Center, 21996 US-6, Keystone, CO 80435. (or Homestead Circle, Dillon CO 80435).

When we are in our very OLD furnished room the TV router had been taken by a previous customer , so the TV didn't work ... we tried calling the front desk, the phone was on hold for 25 min so I drove to the registration desk where all 3 employees were staring around talking while my phone was still on hold... the maintenance employee was helpful with getting us a new room and escorted us to it ... Kodos for Paul... the new room was beautiful and overlooked the lake

So-so … you should read my review before renting.
Ok stay. No AC and was told there were plenty of fans in the unit… there was one small one. Was told just to open the windows for cooling at night, but the only “window “ in the bedroom is a sliding DOOR and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving that open all night for anyone to just walk in (I had a ground floor unit). I had to hassle to get the bottle of wine that was due me on arrival. Was surprised at how much work I was required to do before leaving.. I believe I paid a cleaning fee, what do your cleaning people do? Apparently no sound proofing between floors… I started referring to the person above me as “Thunder Feet”.

The resort has so much to see and do - we only stayed one night regrettably so missed a lot. The room was lovely and spacious with everything you could need. My only issue was finding my condo; the place is a maze and check in had an excellent map that they don't photocopy and share so try to take a photo. Google maps helped us find our area eventually and we enjoyed rhe stay.

the location was not ideal for elderly, no elevator had to walk to the very end of the building long ways. there was no lighting in the condo, expected windows and well lit. old eyes cant see, not even a lamp in the sitting area. instructions said to open the flue on the fireplace but didn't tell how to open it. filled the entire place with smoke. by the way the smoke detectors do not work and i saw no co2 detectors. beds were comfortable, well stocked we ended up in the flying dutchman condos.

The property is very far from the pictures presented. Only firewood and matches were provided for the fireplace, we bought flammable liquid to start it but it didn’t help. Seems like there are problems with air flow in the chimney. The kitchen is great and you can bring groceries to cook pretty much anything. The bed was actually king, not queen. So description was extremely inaccurate. We also didn’t get any wine :( overall it was an apartment, not condo! Small but somewhat cute. Super warm!

It was a pretty good place. Our original place fell thru on Christmas Eve and we were supposed to be flying to CO the next day and this was the only place available for 8 of us. The pull out couch mattress was very uncomfortable, the twin mattresses in the loft were springy. The place was clean. The other 2 bedrooms were comfy. We had 2 families of 4, so 2 cars and only one car was allowed to park at the condo, the other car had to be parked 2 miles away. It was hard to get the address down to have groceries delivered. They have a washer and dryer on our floor which was really nice. Hot tub and pool were nice too. It would be nice if there were extra towels in the room for 8 people for a 6 night stay. Overall pretty good!

I stayed here last year and enjoyed working with the rental company so much that I decided to come back even though I had a few cleaning issues last time. This time around things were much better. The main thing is you can definitely sleep here with nice quiet comfy bed and you're walking distance to everything. It's a good company. I'll be back.

Such a cozy spot right next to the resort. Had a wonderful stay would absolutely recommend staying in the Flying Dutchman condos. They had plenty of items for the kitchen to cook at home which is sometimes hit or miss in these types of places.

Check-in was smooth, friendly. Finally located the condo and location was great next to the shuttle to take you to the hill. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired.. orange peels were found not cleaned up, hair in bathroom.. as for place itself.. kitchen drain was clogged so clean up from cooking was a nightmare, bathroom sink drain seal was dripping.. place really needs some love and updating. Beds were okay.

This was generally a disappointing experience. We got there about twenty minutes after check-in time and they told me that the place was not ready and didn't know how long it would take. Eventually after a back and forth they offered about $25 off the total. It took almost two hours for the condo to be ready. When we did get in there, there was no information about wifi, how to get into the hot tub, etc. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine as part of the stay and that also didn't happen. There was a pull-out couch for the kids, but no extra covers. In general, it was just disappointing because it was not cheap and I expect for the price to receive better service and better accommodations.

Close to Araphoe Basin, picked and paid based on pool, hot tub and kitchen. Hot tub broke, dish washer broke and 4 cup filters for a 12 cup coffee maker, Condo had way to much furniture in it to the point you can bearly walk around. Lighting in kitchen sucked.

It was so funny - we got the same room we stayed 10 years ago! it brought us sweet memories... but this time it wasn't enough room for us to sleep :) we had a guest & needed an extra bed. Thankfully the staff found us a folding bed & we don't needed to change our room in the middle of the night.

At first it was ok, however the “1 hour rolling blackout” that was only supposed to last an hour, lasted at least 6 hours in roughly 10° weather and the property didn’t have generator back up for the condos. Asked about a refund during the time there was no power and was told no, even after my husband had went to the front office to inquire about the power outage and we would be getting a small refund. The front office won’t answer the phone. Tried calling numerous times to inquire about check out procedures since none were in the room we were in, and no answer anytime I tried to call from the phones in the room. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this property especially since this is how they treat disabled veterans with medical equipment that needs power and their caregivers.

We searched for over two hours trying to find the property in which the address listed when you book the place was wrong we asked around and everybody told us that we got scammed that forest condominiums didn’t even exist. I tried to contact VRBO was on hold for an hour and 46 minutes and never got a hold of anyone. I tried contacting my host multiple times never got a response or reply. We finally found out a place that we could check in at by asking somebody at a different hotel multiple miles down the road from where our actual place was. They only allowed one of us to park on property the others had to park in an overflow lot about a mile and a half away they gave no late check out due to us not being able to find our place we requested that and they wouldn’t allow it. They were incredibly rude incredibly unhelpful and impossible to find. I’m still trying to contact VRBO to get some sort of refund or discount. I would never in 1 million years recommend this to a single soul even my worst enemy deserves better than this.

This was in poor shape. Old saggy couch, not comfortable to sit on. The main bath had a tattered and stained bath rug - gross. Really made me not trust the place. Shower head was old, needs to be relaced. It sent a hard direct stream of water for part and dripped off the rest. The layout of the condo was really nice. It was very spacious and had most things that you would need for a week stay. The dining table was very nice. The problems were as follows: The walls were very thin you could hear everything, very low water pressure, the beds were very hard, it was very difficult to regulate the heat in the condo, The front door was very loose and would rattle every time the wind blew very hard or someone walks up and down the stairs

Super outdated, furnitures from the 1990,s living room was hard to walk around without bumping into the kitchen table and chairs. Also the couch was super old and big taking up like 1/3 of the living room. Room wasn’t cleaned that good, my wife had Clorox wipes and wiped the table and other furnitures it was all dirty.

I booked a 1bedroom 1 bath condo in the Flying Dutchman complex that looked to need updates (this was on purpose as we are condo hunting and may be getting a fixer). I was given a 2 bed, 1 bath condo that was immaculate and thoroughly updated throughout. The unit was lovely and comfortable even if contrary to our purposes of staying in a unit similar to what we were considering purchasing. The only negative was the SMALL kitchen. It is definitely more of a kitchenette. If you stay here, plan on eating out. We were only there for 1 night and a simple dinner and a pre-made breakfast were quite frustrating to prepare for my small family of 3. But otherwise no complaints and quite comfortable.

We were satisfied with the accommodations. We particularly appreciated the humidifiers and the quantity of wash cloths, towels and Kleenexes. The toilet paper was poor quality. The website advertised 2 king beds, but one bed was only a full bed. The instructions for using the oven were for another type of oven. There was very little dishwasher detergent. There were no towels in the hot tub facility. The pool is outside and unusable in winter. The bus/shuttle system at Keystone is complicated, and we spent more time than we wanted to waiting for buses. The condo has a very usable kitchen, but Keystone lacks a reasonable source of groceries. The closest grocery store with reasonable prices and selection is in Dillon.

The place needs an overhaul. The beds were uncomfortable and old. Carpets looked dirty. Worst part of the stay was that there is no air conditioning in the unit. There was only 1 floor fan for the whole unit. Had to give it to the kids because they were on the second floor loft where it felt like a sauna.
