Bed and pillows uncomfortable, the hotel has had renovations but enhanced only certain parts. The door to our room had a 3 inch gap between floor and door.

It was not all bad, the hotel was clean, decent amenities just unfortunate situations sometimes.

We purchased a parking pass with our stay and the hotel insisted on not giving us the pass as our ticket was supposed to scan the free stay. Well, it did not. We had to pay twice to be turned around and manage the refund ourselves with the parking company etc. A mess.

We had a great visit in Quebec but will not be staying there again.

Perhaps a discounted rate would be appropriate during this time
2 elevators were not in use during our stay
Its a bit of an inconvenience when one elevator starts on the 3rd floor and only one elevator from the 1st to the 3rd floor
You must play a game of switching elevators to get to your room each time

We did not eat in the restaurant... the menu was limited and there are so many wonderful places to eat in Quebec.
Pool is small and the area around the pool was not cleaned.
The gym is nicely appointed

It must have been a former government building which is fine but that means an extra effort should be made to keep it looking modern instead of Soviet. Pool was closed: first day, it was closed because of very short opening hours. Second day, we were told the lifeguard did not show up. No sign or anything. Third day, we were told there was emergency maintenance. I suspect there is a lie for either or both the second or third day. Room carpet looked dirty. Clock radio and alarm set to strange times. Back of bathroom door dirty. Window sheers dirty. Shower had very low water pressure. Shower handle dribbled. Toilet handle dripped. Room temperature was too hot and could not be adjusted; had to leave door open. Three towels for a room with 2 Queens is nonsensical. Room fridge was warm and could not be adjusted lower. USB charging ports do not work. One desk chair and one visitor's chair when there should have been two. One drinking glass when there should have been at least two. Two paper ccoffe cups when there should be about six.

The pool was amazing and the staff were amazing! The location is great too as well as the croissants at the restaurant. The room was a bit stuffy and shabby, probably due to the age of the building. We would prefer not to have bibles left in the bedside tables.

All of the staff was very courteous, helpful and nice, no matter if they were client facing staff or not! The hotel is also c’ose to the Vieux-Quebec, and the buffet breakfast was great!

Our stay was terrible. We drove about 15 hours to Quebec for this family vacation and were looking forward to our stay at the Delta Hotel (which we reserved because it was listed as pet-friendly and we were bringing our small dog and cat with us). At check-in, the person checking us in was rude and not helpful. First, our cards were all declining, prompting us to call our bank. We were told by the bank that they were not blocking any transactions and that we should be good to go. When we explained this to the lady at check-in, she just looked at us and said it was \"NOT THEIR MACHINE BECAUSE SHE HAD BEEN CHECKING PEOPLE ALL DAY\" (caps to reflect tone). We asked her kindly to try a different machine, as we were at a loss, having used our cards all day without trouble. She tried something else, and guess what? It worked! :-/ No apologies, but at least it worked. After checking us in, she noted that animals cannot be left alone in the room at any point. That threw a curveball at us, since the weather in Quebec was pretty cold, and we were carrying our dog and cat all over town while exploring. As we walked to our room, we noticed the hotel was FILTHY. Not only were the lobby and elevators disgustingly filthy, but our room was disgusting. We've never experienced anything like it. My family and I ended up leaving the hotel after ONE night and booking somewhere else. If I could give this place a -10 rating, I would.

It’s an older building with some recent renovations. The elevators are a major inconvenience: they’re small, and with only two serving such a large building, long wait times are common, especially in the morning during check out time.

Room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The pool area needs a better layout for belongings, getting dried off and a washroom.
Breakfast buffet was OK. No variety day to day, and food was not very warm.
Staff could barely keep the pantry stocked with snacks and drinks — seems the entire hotel had access to the pantry and there often wasn’t much selection. People were making and eating breakfast in the pantry, making it very congested.

My stay was great the staff was very friendly , especially Alan in the front desk he was extremely kind and helped us with recommendations where yo eat or visit. The hotel has an excellent location, if you pay a very convenience fee you have access to a daily coffee lounge with delicious pastries and coffee, that will male you save money especially for breakfast. The hotel need an update that is why I didn’t give 5 stars.

Very nice place overall. Would be nice if they would have a common are room to use with friends.
The only space was on the 3rd floor but near elevator and very open.
Also, carpet looked outdated in the room ands some rooms had Netflix installed and some don’t. As a summary loved the stay with family.

The room 342 was spacious and clean. the bathroom had plenty of towels with excellent water pressure.
The only negative rating was the constant noise from the heater or other source which seemed to be coming from next door.

Very nice hotel, comfortable, modern, clean, quiet, and close to shops and restaurants. Exterior heated pool in a winter setting a very nice bonus.
Interior parking very handy and safe.
Staff was very polite and eager to help.
Had dinner at the Bistro restaurant, excellent food, and service.
Our stay was for three nights for Christmas shopping and visiting the sights of this beautiful city. Absolutely no regrets! Highly recommend this hotel.

I know - we are in Quebec and it is French speaking. But when the guest has trouble understanding the person behind the desk, shouldn't that person try to accommodate? I'm sure they have many tourists whose French is worse than mine.

Feel safe. Television did work properly. They rebooted the television at night waking us up to a glaring white light check out. Check-in was very slow. The manager told us she would unplug the television set but never get it. I am a bonvoy member but they had no record of it.

Great location walkable to many attractions. Rooms should have a safe in them. Rooms need better cleaning between guest found hair from pervious guest. Comfortable beds and pillows. Desk staff made a mistake and charged my card for the entire stay after i told her i had a reservation with Expedia. That was quickly resolved. You have to take one elevator to the 3rd floor to get on another elevator to go on to higher floors. Elevators are slow.

The hotel location was very good, 15-20 mins walk to Old Quebec but closer to the hotel there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, very nice.
Hotel carpet looks very old though, that's what i disliked the most from the hotel

The rooms are worn out but clean. The bed is very comfortable. Room doors are very thin and you hear every other guest walking in the corridors and in front of the elevators. it is highly difficult to sleep without disturbance.
Parking garage does not belong to the hotel, it’s a separate company and it is very very dirty. The garage floors are full of piss and the garage smells very ugly.

Not sure why Marriott put its name on this hotel. On the good side, the gentleman who checked me in at 11pm last night was very nice and helpful. It went downhill from there.
I wanted a room with a comfortable bed and an in room safe.
The room I booked was not available, so he apparently moved me to a larger room after checking to see if one was ready.
What I got is a very large room with a lumpy king size mattress which would only be appropriate in a tenderloin flophouse. It is definitely not the Marriott Matress I’m used to.

The room has a huge floor area covered in a worn, dirty and stained carpet. The bathroom door squeaks loudly from all 3 hinges; the toilet seat is not properly attached to the toilet and the toilet paper holder is hanging at a sad angle. A large tile piece is missing in the bathroom.
Debris that was on the 5th floor area leading to rooms at midnight last night is still on the floor at 10pm tonight. The 5th floor common area carpet is threadbare in places and obviously not clean.
And of course, the advertised in room safe is not present in all rooms and not in mine.
The $28 breakfast buffet is bare minimum and the meager amount of bacon was gone by 9:30. Breakfast supposedly runs until 10:30
At $300+ a night, I feel like Marriott has scrolled SUCKER in big letters on my forehead.
I love my first visit to Quebec City but I recommend you avoid this hotel at all cost.

Overall very good. Only two areas for improvement. Dinner at the sister Marriot fell short. Pasta was barely warm. Mussels and shrimp were almost microscopic. No garlic, spices, etc. Other shortfall was the heated, outdoor pool hours. Sat. and Sunday OK but M-F only 5PM to 9PM.

This review would be higher if it wasn’t for the renovation work happening on our floor. The lobby is modern and luxurious. We head up to our room and the elevator doors open and we see a construction zone. Wood chips, tools, dust, boards, working men all outside our door. If you’re going to renovate the hallways, probably don’t rent the rooms happening right beside the work. It kind of ruined our impressions of the hotel and we didn’t like walking through that mess to reach our room every time

The Delta is an interesting hotel. Its interior architecture has a distinctly 70s vibe. Elevators and narrow escalators take you from the first, second and third floors, with separate elevators for fourth floors and higher (good security). Nespresso coffee machines in hotel rooms, which are renovated and spacious. I was given extra Nespresso pods, which I appreciate. The highlight was the outdoor pool, which was heated.

The hotel was under construction and our room felt a bit old. We also heard a lot of strange noises at night, so earplugs are recommended. That said, the price was fair, and the big plus is definitely the location.

Delta Quebec City is a tired property in the public areas. We were there for 3 nights during the week and the up escalator was not function so we had to walk up. Lobby on entry level is not great and no one available to help with luggage. Had to take elevator to 3 floor then change elevator to get to rooms

The carpeting in our room was badly worn and fraying at the doorway and looked somewhat dirty. Definitely time for replacement. The room was nice, but not very quiet. Road noise was very loud in the room and you could here conversations from out on the street.

The location was fantastic. Very each to walk to many of the attractions and areas in Quebec City we wanted to see.

It would have been great to have a less expensive option in the hotel for breakfast.
