The room was clean. The staff was really friendly. Check-in and out made really easy. The concierge (Chadi) was super helpful and friendly. The property itself is not updated and furniture is old but overall its clean this is not a luxury hotel. There is a musty smell that hits you from the time you walk into the lobby. There is a gym on the second floor and it wasn't crowded as I was the only one using it at the time. The gym equipment is old and dirty. The treadmill sounded like it was about to break down and the wieght bench was dirty and rusting a bit. The bathroom and sauna was super clean though. The steakhouse restaurant that is attached to the hotel is absolutely horrible. The food was tasteless, I was definitely expecting an elevated dinning experience for the price. I didn't take breakfast at the hotel (you have yo pay extra) so not sure how that's tastes

Overall the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and basic. If that's what your looking for then you'll be happy. The huge bonus I'd say, was the underground parking. If I remember correctly the charge was $29 per day but I appreciated not having to look for parking. Personally I wouldn't stay there again because the gym, smell and outdated rooms. These are important to me, if they are not for you then its a good place with nice staff.

The young man at concierge was very sweet and professional. The location was awesome, but hotel a bit dirty. Beds very uncomfortable. The pull out couch was ripped and the blanket on it had a hole in it. Bathroom walls dirty. When you walk in it smells awful...guy at dedknsaid it was the pool, but smelled nothing like chlorine and more like trash. Everything was a little dusty. Would not stay there again.

Perfect location right in the historical center of the City.
Loved the spaciousness of our accommodation...like a mini apartment. Room balcony overlooking the pool area was a wonderful spot to start and end our day.
Added treat was the live entertainment preformed on Friday and Sat. evening we could enjoy off our balcony.
Thumbs up to the service we received at the Hotel's in-house resturant. Found it best to go in to dine from 7:30 to 8:30 time frame rather than busy earlier dinner times.

We had a great stay, concierge Eddie was friendly and helpful, door man was great, check-in great, parking easy, close to old Quebec. We had a great view. The only thing that was not great was the room cleaning. The floor was laminate and needed to be swept and washed better. Lamps were old and one didn’t work at all. Not enough plug ins by the bed for all our electronics.

We had an enjoyable two night stay. Desk and porter staff were helpful and pleasant. Check in and out were seamless. The underground parking was easy to access by elevator. Be prepared-the most appropriate term below the first level is grotto. The place is excavated from rock. Not a bad thing, though.
The pool and hot tub were enjoyable, with towels provided. The housekeeping staff was responsive.
We stayed in the 3 bed suite. 2 Queen beds in a bedroom and a pull our couch in the main area. The pull out was nothing to write home about. Standard thin mattress supported by steel pipes. Perhaps better suited for a lighter person than I or the in-laws. The remainder were way more comfortable, from what I hear.
The hotel is situated just outside one of the gates of old Quebec within easy walking distance of restaurants and tourist traps. So whether you are into a coffee and croissant, pizza, or something fancier, you won’t starve. Bring your wallet, though as we routinely spent $150 or more for 3 adults and one child.
The food at the hotel steakhouse was good, and service was thorough and professional. That was just under $300 with liquor and dessert.

Convienent Bus stop. 10 minute drive to new Videotron Sports Center and City Exhibition site. Lot of nice restaurants nearby. Great value, will stay there again. Full service in French and English.

The amenities were good overall. The pool is small, but since we were traveling with young children, they really enjoyed it. The best part of the hotel is definitely its location.

However, the cleanliness of the hotel was not satisfactory. When we arrived, there were not enough towels in our room. We called for more, and they were promptly delivered, which we appreciated.

We stayed for three nights, and the hotel has a policy of “restocking” on the first night and “refreshing” on the second. Restocking is supposed to include emptying the trash, replenishing coffee, and replacing towels. Unfortunately, this did not happen for us, our trash was left overflowing, and the towels were not refreshed.

On the second day, I heard a housekeeper in the hallway and had to ask for a garbage bag so we could manage the overflow ourselves.

Our experience with the tour concierge was also disappointing. When we asked for restaurant recommendations, he only mentioned the hotel’s restaurant. When we returned to book a tour, he kept us waiting while finishing a personal conversation and then responded dismissively, saying we “hadn’t done our homework.”

Overall, while the location and some amenities were positives, the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service negatively impacted our stay.

Travelled with my partner, two sons (9&11), and their grandfather. We stayed in two rooms (but could have squeezed into one as there are 6 person rooms). I’m a return customer and booked the interior room with a view of the courtyard with the pool. The boys (and their grandfather) loved using the pool, being able to watch the action of the courtyard, and we really enjoyed the Friday and Saturday musicians. Beds were comfortable and the entire hotel was clean with a very friendly staff. Location for walking is perfect with underground parking that allows you to go in and out as you please, if you’re doing any trips out of the city. Overall, beautiful stay in a beautiful hotel within a beautiful city. We will be back for our next adventure!

A gem!! This place was so beautiful, and it really felt like it transported you somewhere tropical. The breakfast was great, room was awesome, pool area was obviously the really impressive bit. The hot tub could have been hotter, and it was often overfilled with children, but then I found the sauna in the gym, and that was really private and nice.

I tried to shorten my stay due to illness with over 24 hours notice. The hotel was not interested in helping as we had booked through Expedia. I contacted Expedia who was unable to contact the hotel. Expedia promised to resolve and send me an email. No email received and I had to pay for the room even though we had checked out and returned home. Never again.

Hotel is Okay, location is good but the hotel is aging and the pool area and water are not maintained, The water is dirty and cloudy 1 hour after opening of the.pool at 9am, twice i pulled someone elses hair off my head and body. There was a bandaid on the pool ground for the entire 4 day stay at this hotel. Which meant only one thing the pool area wasnt mopped once in the 4 days my family and i satyed here. Okay hotel but i wouldnt saty here again.

Hi! I just wanted to bring to your attention that this hotel was really not great. It is very \"tired\". the lobby was very smelly when we walked in and looked dirty. the room smelled good but everything is so old and patched up. I took picutres of a few things ie:
-wallpaper in the bathroom not a great idea especially if it is already coming off the wall in most places (which was bound to happen sooner than later).
- the grout used in the bathroom was stained by little mold spots. I have pictures of paper towel before cleaning and after ,,,getting black
-very dirty corners and joints in the bathroom
-all the air vents where filthy and had not been cleaned in months.
etc etc

I understand that it was after spring break and you were probably busy but you did take the reservation and got paid for it ... therefore the place should have been cleaned.
some things are beyond fixing, just need a total revamp in the bathrooms (at least the 602 one).
ah! I do not remember the last time I had a hotel bathroom that did not have a fan...the mirror was foggy for 30 minutes after a short shower
Really not impressed and you came recommended by people that had been years ago.
obviously all went down the drain after. I would find it very very hard to recommend such place today.

We stayed at this hotel 7 years ago and had an outstanding experience. We decided to book the same room type (king with panoramic view overlooking the old city) for 4 nights. We were very disappointed in many aspects of our four night stay. Room service quality was lacking and not consistent; glassware was not refreshed daily, floors were not dusted and always felt dirty, towel service was intermittent, bed was not tidied daily. Reception area and elevator area had an awful odor and was very run down and dirty. The floors with rooms had odors from the pool area wafting throughout. I feels like this hotel has become more of a family/team sport stay hotel than the elegant place it was in the past.

Great location, less than a 10 minute walk to Old Quebec. The staff were always willing to help and at times went out of their way. The hotel has a beautiful atrium and pool area. We found the room spacious and had a great view of the city. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and maybe next time book a room with the view overlooking the pool area.
