Very close to all the shops, restaurants and funicular. We thought the hotel was a little dated but for the price we paid, it was a screaming good deal. Clean, comfortable bed. We never saw a staff member as this place is all automated.

The construction happening outside of the hotel is significant. The inconvenience isn't necessarily access, as it was made to sound like during contact, but that city workers begin at 6:30am everyday and the generators run 24 hours. The noise is distracting and consistent.

The place is really beautiful. The staff was really easy to reach for help (I called them to check-in early and needed the old access code). Someone quickly came to help me. The room was spacious and clean. I was surprised it only costed 65$/Night. Will definitely come back with my boyfriend this time. :)

Easy access to historic sites, Parks (Montmorency & Marais du Nord), transit, shops and great food.
We believe in letting the hotel know about issues that could affect the next guests experience. This included resolving lights not working, an street light on Hebert that was intermittent and an air dryer (no \"h\" as it did not actually heat the air ;-) ). Some things are within their arena to fix and ensure an awesome experience for the next guest. The convenience to historic sites, walkability, shopping, safe and quiet section of Quebec City make this a \"highly recommend\" option for travellers on a budget.

Location was excellent. Free luggage storage was a plus. Late check-in was a key factor in our choice. Since there are no staff, please tell guests that the keypad is inside the vestibule and the outer door requires a hard push to open. When we arrived around midnight we almost called the emergency number, thinking that outer door was locked when it wouldn't open with a normal strength push.

Room is cramped with no window. Door only opens half way to a balcony you are absolutely denied to use. Mattress is past prime. No blanket. Spread is so heavy it is hard to use. Room 205 requires climbing at least 40 very steep steps. Bathtub has absolutely nothing to hold onto. Felt place was a fire hazard. Nothing positive except its location.

Fine, if you get a good deal.

Great location and clean rooms. Small but functional. Furnished to a budget, but comfortable enough for a night. The one let down was the very thin and transparent, light curtains. These let in a lot of light from the streetlights just outside the window, I hope they address this for future guests.

This is an unattended hotel, so don't expect much service or any personalization.

Loved the peace and quiet. Close to the upper town of Old Quebec City. I am low maintenance so I enjoyed the stay in general. TV in my room wasn't working properly, and I couldn't connect my laptop/phone to it. There was a number for assistance. But since it was too late at night, and I wasn't sure if the number was for texts or calls, I didn't try to contact the team eventually. But I figure someone will still be there to help virtually, although this is a staffless hotel. The only two issues were that 1. I booked for a room with river view. But I couldn't see much really because the staircase and the wall of the building were blocking most of the view. I could only see the most a blocked private terrace that didn't belong to my room, plus a tiny glimpse of the port. 2. The main door was supposed to be locked and would require an access code. But when I first arrived at the hotel close to midnight, the door was purposely left open and didn't need any passcode. What was worse was that a man was sleeping at the reception with his baggage around. I doubted he was a hotel resident because otherwise he would have been sleeping in his room. That made me felt unsafe and worried. The main door was locked though when I went out / came back at other times during my stay. So I hope my first impression was just an isolated incident.

My sister and I came for a visit for 4 nights and we were very satisfied with our stay. We felt very safe and loved how close it was to everything. The only thing I would mention is that the sheets had some hair and stains, but that wasn’t a huge deal for us. We would stay here again!

First experience of such a hotel . Would not repeat. Having to wait until 3pm to access hotel as staffless. When you arrive early and want to drop off luggage. I discovered a luggage store with code on day of leaving. Maybe I should have asked if this would have been possible on arrival day. But it certainly isn’t stated in hotel details .

Given that there’s no staff, it may not be for everyone. But if you’re a low maintenance traveller who just needs a cute little room that’s a 3 minute walk from the most iconic destinations, it’s fantastic. Spring for a room with a view because it really makes the experience. Loved it.

The lamps on the nightstands are too bright to use. The air conditioner was not working at all. The power strip was not waterproof, and it is located by the coffee maker. Because of fire safety, we were afraid to use it. They forgot to mention that the parking space is more than just a few minutes away. It included a very steep hill. Walking back to the hotel from there was brutal. I have asthma, and my mother just had her Achilles surgery done. It is not convenient for anyone, really. Perhaps hire a valet or collaborate with the hotel right next to this one. They had plenty of spaces for us to park. No elevator either. I had to do all that lifting and carry them up and down the stairs. The wall is so thin that we felt a lot of pounding and banging next door. Perhaps somebody was on honeymoon. It was completely unpleasant. We could not sleep at all. We were very much looking forward to going back home.

I did not care for the automated hotel experience. The AC did not work and I never received a response from staff when I called over the two day period. The toilet did not work well and there was zero counter space for anything. Very small room with two flights of stairs to get to the second floor from the lobby, which I assume was the basement. Overall not a great value for what we paid.

We had a beautiful view of the harbor. Room has a mini fridge and nice heating and air conditioning unit. Roof top space was nice. It was fairly close the the hub of Quebec City.

However there was not a single chair to sit on so we had to sit on the beds. The room was fairly noisy hearing other people staying here as was the road noise too. Water from the bathroom sink and bath tub didn’t seem potable to drink. There was no place to hang clothes on hangers.

It was good value for the old town but rioms were somewhat cramped. The autolocking front door was often left ajar and people came and went during our stay.

The closest parking is quite a dustance if anyone has mobility issues. Having to park on the street to load/unlosd then having to go to the underground parking gatage was an inconvenience especially with road closures in the area.

Easy access to complex and room. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Great location off of the busy tourist area but still walkable. We took a tour bus to hike at Jacque Cartier National park and the pick up and drop off location were easy to walk to. We had room 101 which was in the front and had a harbor view. Would have liked a small microwave in the room but there was a communal one.

It was very convenient to all sites etc once we saw the back door which was street level. The entrance is more isolated and there are stairs to climb to the 1st floor. We only used the front entrance to gain entry if one of us wasnt there to open the back door. There should be a auto lock on the back door too.

Interesting old hotel. No employees on site; everything done via email and codes. Room was ok, but it had a back door that lead to stairs that went to an awesome terrace. Definitely the best part of the hotel. The shower would not maintain a steady temperature. Good location.

We visitated Old Quebec City for the first time and stayed at Automatisé Manoir des Repamparts. We really liked the place the arts around the Hotel, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and very warm. The place was central there is city parking close by so we did that since the property has no party . We walked every where there was enough historical stuff to do around the hotel. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Nice, quaint hotel with no frills. Faucet handles could use some work. Saw a few stains on the blanket. Door tongue alignment was suspect, but security wasn't a concern given the location (Old City of Quebec - very safe). Price was cheaper than the surrounding areas and the location was superb.

This place is affordable and few steps from the tourist area within the Old Quebec area. Although the hotel has no staff, the customer service is very responsive. The only downside is the lack of parking and you have to use stairs so not good if you have a luggage.

We only stayed overnight. Power went out in the building within an hour of our arrival at 9 pm. Thankfully husband is handy. Maintenance guy told my husband what to do by phone as he wasn’t close by. Lots of stairs to carry luggage. Quaint nice room. Super clean. Great location to cruise ship. Provided coffee, shampoo, hair dryer. Nice beds.

The location is fun with a canon out front. It is an easy walk to food and historic sites. I had an issue with hot water the first day and they fixed it quickly. The lack of staff on the site was not a problem for check-in and I doubt it made any difference concerning the hot water. I would stay here again. Quieter than being on a main shopping street.

The description and photos on the Expedia site were not what we found when we arrived at this property. We were allocated a small, grubby, dark outdated room.
The noise from the large a/c unit outside our external door was so loud it kept us awake nearly all night. The door to the outside space did not not lock properly so we felt unsafe. The stairs to the rooftop terrace were unlit and the railings were insecure. The bed was propped up on wooden blocks taped together, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall.
I understand that this is an unmanned property but when you encounter issues like this, there should be a point of contact so they can be resolved, this is not the case here.

Great little gem only steps from some of Québec City's main attractions and restaurants. I love the self-check-in. The rooms are lovely, clean, and set in an old building that has been modernized. Be warned, stairs are required, and it's up a pretty substantial hill from the train station (despite what Google says). But would absolutely stay again!

very hard to check in. Key and room are in separate buildings. I only can read English, the email is mixed English, numbers, date and French.
Its all automatic, no preson assist you. If you call them, they will repeat \"check your email guide-line\". Worst hotel service so far in my 12 years in Canada.

It's walkable distance from the old Montreal. Very clean. At night time was noisy, We could hear people walking in the stairs,or taking shower. In our room 107 there was a closet and Armoire with a dresser. In my opinion I would replace the Armoire with a Desk and chair, so we can used for a laptop,or use the chair to sit instead of sitting in the bed with your clothes. Overall a nice place. I will recommend it.

First time using a staff-less property. Had to try a couple of times to get the key from the automated system but it was easy to use (I was too talk to read it lol). Emails and text messages to let me know when the room changed and what the code was to get the key, all worked well. Great location for Old Quebec City.

They need to get a new bed ! It is so so so squeaky.
You need new instructions for the automatic entry.
Someone at your end needs to review the instructions. But there is a person who answers the questions when you call them . That was a plus . The instructions fir the drop off if the keys was great .

Clean sheets, pillows were terrible, coffee supplied but no tea. Very small old room with only 1 chair to sit on. No opening windows, bed changed once a week. Room was livable but pricey for what you got. Both the main entry and room doors were sqeaky and very hard to close. Close to everything and probably good for a one or two night stay, but no longer.

My complaints are that the air handler unit was full of dust, the filter was completely clogged. It triggered my allergies. There was also some mold above the shower in the bathroom.

We loved our stay! We don't need much to make the best of our adventures and the hotel ticked all our required boxes. The room was comfortable, clean, and in an excellent location. Lots of hot water and good water pressure. We were right under the stairs, and were not bothered at all by the old building noises. We found the key codes and self service easy to use and had no trouble at all with our stay!

Overall, it was exceptional value .

Most notably, the service we received was *outstanding*. After our trip, I realized that I could not find my keys, I called, someone immediately answered and looked for my keys, unfortunately they had not turned up. A week later, still without my keys, I reached out again over email, no only had they found my keys, they were able to ship them to me (declining my offer to pay postage) and now, less than 24 hours, they are in the mail on the way to me.
I am so grateful for the effort the put into helping fix a pickle entirely of my own making.

The room was what we expected. The parking was impossible. All the surrounding streets were blocked off by the city therefore unable to get to the hotels that was recommended for parking. also had a horrible time trying to find our hotel. Had to carry our luggage about a quarter of akilometer to get to our car which was parked in a public parking lot, in the morning. Unable to bring our car around to the hotel as it would’ve taken far too long.
