In a good location logistically, but there were a lot of homeless. Parking is an additional $30/night, so factor that into you pricing. When we first entered the room there was a bit of a smell, but it seemed to go away on the second time we entered. Room was fine, but simple. The sounds all a bit negative, but the staff was friendly and the location was practical. I go to Quebec once or twice year. I may stay again.

Nice clean room + comfortable bed. Good selection of toiletries. Coffee machine but no tea, kettle, or uht milk (only creamer). Pool is shallow and could be a tad warmer. Sauna was just right. The surrounding neighbourhood, St. Roch, has seen better days. There are plenty of excellent food and coffee options remaining, but many shops on St. Joseph have shuttered in recent years and there has been a massive increase in the homeless population. Parking prices at this hotel are unnecessarily steep, but there's plenty of street parking nearby, especially on weekends when the 60min limit doesn't apply.

What I liked:
1. Very spacious room: The room has two chairs, several lamps, blackout curtains, and ample closet space.
2. Gym: The gym has several cardio machines and several cable machines. There are dumbbells up to 50 pounds. There are two free benches. The sauna is large and coed. The pool is large enough for 3 lanes and maybe 4.
3. Security: There was always staff at the front. Keys are needed to use the elevators.
4. Proximity to tourist attractions: It's a 25 minute uphill walk from here to Old Montreal tourist attractions. I took a cab each time to get there. Cabs arrived in less than 5 minutes each time.
5. Proximity to food: There are numerous cafes, pastry spots, and several restaurants within 10 minutes walk.

Hi! I wanted to workout there. That's why I chose that hotel. But there were about 10 children (age 11) without adult supervision. It was dangerous. I had to stop my workout. I took a video and shared it with the staff. They told me that Expedia would give me a 20% off but I never heard of you, guys. 416 407 2102 [email protected]

The room was ok, smaller size than expected. The lobby and hallways were not very clean. That may have been due to it being very busy during holidays, not sure. The restaurant was only ok, very expensive brunch and not a lot of options compared to others. Also surprised that there was no marketplace inside for any drinks etc besides a wine bar. Parking was full so we had to self park across the street and getting in and out of lot, on a one way street was annoying.

Amenities were good. Loved the pool table in the lobby. Restaurant in hotel had great food however service was extremely slow. Our room attendant didn’t change out body wash for two out of our 4 night stay and left empty. Wine glasses and bottles instead of taking them. Not a biggie but still something that bothered us. But front desk staff was great. :)

The room we requested was on a reception floor with a party ending at 1 am. There were no more rooms with two beds so they offered us a king. But my coworker and I didn’t feel comfortable being forced to share a bed together when we had already booked two beds. They offered us a cot which was the most uncomfortable bed. I had a horrible sleep and woke up with an aching back.
I tried talking to the front desk agent to see what more could be done and he said these were the only options. I think at this point they could have offered us two separate rooms considering they could have notified us of this situation long before and then we could have booked elsewhere.

Terrible ! Je suis arrivé fatigué à l’hôtel à 22h30. Il faisait 15 degrés dans ma chambre en plein hiver ! Le plancher de la salle de bain et les draps étaient gelés. À minuit il faisaient 19 degrés dans la chambre. J’ai demandé de changer de chambre mais ils étaient complets. Après avoir passé une mauvaise nuit, j’ai eu toute une mauvaise surprise lorsque j’ai constaté qu’il y avait du vomis et des poils collés dans le fond de la douche… J’ai essayé de nettoyer le tout avec la douche téléphone, mais en prenant ma douche j’ai été dégoûté de constater que le vomis était remonté et que mes pieds trempaient dedans. En quittant l’hôtel, la dame qui n’était pas gentille me réclamait des frais pour la nuit alors que le tout avait été payé d’avance. Bref, un cauchemar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night here. The hotel is beautiful, the beds comfy and the staff friendly. The only complaint would be the chaos of the lobby on our departure morning. There were hundreds of travels with questions, all told to speak with the concierge who was relegated to a podium in the middle of the lobby and there were never more than 2 staffing it.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service! The hotel is located two blocks from stop 6 of the Hop On Hop Off Bus making it convenient to get around Quebec City. There is also a coffee shop attached to the hotel with great coffee and excellent service. We did not try the hotel breakfast, but the dinner was excellent! Reservations are required for dinner. The concierge service is also wonderful!

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was really nice. You’re about 20 min. Walk to old Quebec.
The only downside is the church behind the hotel has a lot of drug users and homeless people so it’s best to avoid that area when walking to the hotel. Make sure you ask for a view of the city not the church.

The hotel was within walking distance of a few restaurants. There is a Van Houtte coffee shop at the base of the hotel which we found convenient. We got around using Uber and they were always available and we never really had to wait very long. All sightseeing that we did was usually within a 10 minute drive. We liked the pool and the exercise area in the hotel. They were both very clean and well maintained. Keep in mind the pool is not very deep (probably around 4' 10\" (?) inches deep) but we were fine with that. Our room was near the elevator but we didn't experience any noise issues. We did not eat in the restaurant in the hotel only because the hours that it was open, we were not in the hotel. The room and the bathroom were both very clean and we had no complaints with the hotel. Overall it was a nice stay.

This used to be my go-to hotel in Quebec city but it’s gone downhill in the past two years: rooms not as clean, furniture worn, and sadly the neighborhood has really degraded in terms of safety and overall cleanliness. Their parking garage is open access for pedestrians and I felt unsafe retrieving my car. I won’t be back. Sorry Pur!

No snack shop or sundries available for purchase. Bathtub situations horrible. Husband almost fell in the tub. No anti-slip surface on the bottom of the tubs and no grab bars. This is an extremely dangerous situation for those of us who are senior citizens. Grab bar retrofit for all bathtubs should be mandatory.

When we arrived we needed to change rooms, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was clean. It is about 30 minute (uphill) walk to the center of old Quebec. The only issue we had was that the WIFI in our room was mediocre at best (slow and unstable).

The PUR was in a great location with lots of restaurants and walkable to most everywhere. Our room was very large, with a lot of counter space in the bathroom. We appreciated the Nespresso machine. The shower had plenty of hot water, water pressure could've been a little better. But otherwise, a great choice for Quebec!

The staff are amazing and friendly. The hotel was clean; however, the beds are very uncomfortable and bumpy, they are too soft. The air conditioning in our room was making a tractor sound, we asked the staff to fix it, which they did almost immediately. but after two nights it started to make the same sound again.
