Great staff, they were very helpful with room service left out window open all day and upgraded us to a suit. But overall expect extreme tourist pricing on everything else. AC had problems all over the building. No actual beach access. Do yourself a favour and just go to Greece or Italy.

The property is nice and quaint, it is mostly quiet, although there appears to be a nightclub of sorts nearby which you may hear for a few hours in the night.

The service from all staff is impeccable, with most going the extra mile to suit your needs.

Sadly there were some negatives. Our sea view from our room was obscured by the roof of the room on the floor below. The massive stains on the carpets in our room, turndown service wasn’t a daily thing and didn’t cover the expectations despite being in a four seasons.

Four seasons properties are always amazing but what sets them apart is the service which was unfortunately not up to the standard at this property. Service was slow and not attentive. However, after we pointed this out, we saw an improvement. We will be visiting again in the coming year so hopefully will see some positive change. Otherwise, the property is amazing the amenities are great and very family friendly!

The only issues i had was the doors were not sound proof i could here it every time the room next to me opened the door or was cleaned, the other being that the phones in room were not working and i had to order from bathroom phone. I told them, but nobody fixed it.

It is like a dream, we really enjoyed our stay with the family. Quiet and great pool and beach, staff is sooo friendly and professional.
Not to forget the Blu Restaurant, ask the Italian chef (sorry I forgot his name) to make you a tasting (family style), it’s the best meal we had in the whole trip,

It's a very disappointing stay. It cannot be a four season hotel. They have unprofesional and untrained personal and staff. We had 3 rooms and one suite in total and all of them had an issue either, AC, fridge and /or bathrooms. The hallways are not air conditioned. It is a horrible experience.

Construction and no beach access

While the rooms are beautiful and the staff wonderful, there’s construction that prohibits entry to the beach and the pool cafe is also closed and under construction. This is not mentioned on hotels.com, although there are photos of a guest on the beach. It’s deceitful. I wouldn’t have stayed here if I had known that. All I can do is see the beach, not even walk on it. I feel like a prisoner here.

Excellent service overall, fridge in the room made some noise overnight and they didn’t load the pods for the coffee machine, that’s minor issue for me as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I had a massage and a hammam and used the Spa and the pool ! You can’t fault this hotel and will certainly go back !

The only problem was the security alarm that was triggered and had to leave the room on a run which ended up being a false alarm.

Tremendous luxury hotel with friendly staff, right on the beach. Great for kids, hUGe infinity pool, lovely afternoon teas available. While the hotel's website states that there are no restaurants on the beach after September, they really should consider having food options down there when the weather is still so lovely. Terrible pillows. Lovely bathroom.

Check in staff were very nice. Hotel is fantastic. Seems new. Rooms are very generous in size. And there in lies the problem. While the rooms were fantastic it seemed as though the AC in the rooms were just not enough to cool the room down. I was unable to sleep due to the incredible heat that day and the AC really did very very little to help the situation. Adding to this the shower was very dirty which further dampened my mood the next day after a sleepless night.

Absolutely world class! I had been to 2 other 5-star hotels in Tunisia during this 8 day trip, both of which were excellent by Tunisian standards. However, the Four Seasons is in a class of its own. Everything was impeccable, and rivaled/beat the best Four Seasons we have been to around the world.
The modern design infused with a traditional twist is breathtaking.
The rooms and showers are large, comfortable, spotlessly clean, inviting, etc...
I read some dated reviews about the staff. However, we were extremely impressed with every single staff member we interacted with.
Also very kid friendly. We arrived before the official check in time, expecting to drop off our luggage, sightsee, and then return to our rooms. However, not only were we accommodated immediately, but the rooms were ready for our 3 kids with childrens’ toothbrushes and toothpastes, mini slippers, small bathrobes, Tunisian t-shirts, and probably more items I am forgetting to mention.
We loved the previous hotel we stayed at down the road, and wanted to return every year when in Tunis going forward, but the Four Seasons made that very difficult to do after our experience there... we cannot not go to, what we now consider, the hands down best hotel in Tunisia. And possibly one of the best hotels in Africa.
Something to consider, but should not be held against the hotel itself: the location/area is still under development, and its not where we would go if the sole purpose of our trip is for the beach.

The breakfast buffe is excellent and the hotel views in general are very nice. We got in late at night and ordered room service. When ordering a club sandwich and a cheeseburger where told that the machine was damaged and could not make either a sandwich or a burger. When I asked what special machine this was did not get a proper answer.

The property itself is wonderful. The staff very nice and accommodating. The reason for my iffy review is that I got sick from the food. I didn't eat a morsel of food or water not provided by the hotel and yet, 30 hours into my stay, the bathroom explosively became my best friend. Part of the reason for this is the hotel's food program and menus. The first night I ordered something I thought was cooked from the description (it was a salad with nearly raw meat that I feared would make me sick while eating it - my fault for not sending it back, but I figured \"Four Seasons\"). The second night, the tapas restaurant has a thing where most items seem to be only cooked to lukewarm. Also had what I assumed was a hot tomato soup with crisp ham that was actually chilled. On the upside, once I was sick, the hotel did send a car to pick up medicine for me. But I warn any first world traveler not to assume the Four Seasons is a guard against food safety issues encountered by street food vendors. Everything roaring hot, nothing raw and only bottled water.

It's also worth nothing the hotel can feel like a beautiful prison. A mirror is waved under cars before passing the solid gate into the property - to check for explosives. Baggage is run through X-ray. The beach has a police hut. I don't want to know how many security cameras. The whole Gammarth area is in a remote area of Tunis that feels isolated with one gated hotel after another.

I was fortunate to stay here on the second day after its opening and of course it was flawless. The service was outstanding and the room size and amenities were 5 stars. Four Seasons must be bullish on Tunisia because it seems they spared no expense with the materials and location. The food was outstanding as well.

The hotel is good, but it’s expensive, and for the price you pay, you expect top quality in every aspect. The hotel can also be a bit intrusive—I was contacted three times before checking in and another three to four times during my stay, plus messages on WhatsApp. They should have a better system for organizing their communication. When everything is fine, there’s no need to keep checking in all the time.

In addition, they came to my door to inform me that I had received a leather bookmark. That’s a nice gesture, but I didn’t need it, and there was no reason to notify me about something I had obviously noticed myself. Also, they fold all your clothes and organize your toiletries. For me, that feels too personal and like too much of an invasion. It would be better if they had a simple opt-in/opt-out system for that.

I also didn’t like that none of the trash bins have plastic bags. I understand this may be for environmental reasons, but it ends up being messy. It would be better to empty and reuse a bag instead.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au Four Season Tunis. Le personnel est très agréable, les chambres spacieuses et l’ensemble des infrastructures notamment le jardin d’oliviers surplombant la piscine est splendide.
Petite parenthèse, nous été avons été un peu déçu à notre arrivée par le manque d’accueil et l’attente pour la prise en charge à la réception.
Aussi, le SPA est très beau mais les soins sont un peu trop « rapide » et pas suffisamment personnalisés.
Le four season est un bel hôtel pour profiter de la plage et se détendre.
Le buffet du petit déjeuner est surperbe et le personnel d’une grande gentillesse.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel 5 étoiles. Le spa est magnifique, les restaurants sont très agréables avec une très bonne cuisine. Probablement parmi les meilleurs tables de Tunis. La chambre est spacieuse, le lit très confortable. Petit bémol la propreté de la chambre (poussière derrière la tv), la pauvreté des échantillons dans la salle de bain (le stricte minumum et en petite quantité), l'absence de plage devant l'hôtel, l'absence des housses en éponge sur les transats de notre terrasse alors que les deux autres chambres du même étage les avaient. Enfin le Spa a oublié ma réservation du 1er jour (prise de rendez-vous deux semaines avant l'arrivée) donc ils m'ont proposé un rendez-vous le lendemain. Les équipes ont bien rattrapé le coup mais ça reste décevant au regard de ce type d'établissement.

Schöne Architektur und große Zimmer. Service allerdings nicht Fpur Seasons Standard. Im Restaurant Blue wo wir drei Abende waren und dem Pool ist guter Service. Die Rezeption und beim Frühstück ist dringender Handlungsbedarf erforderlich. Der schwarze Schimmel in der Dusche ist für ein solches Haus nicht akzeptabel.

Pour le prix dépensé je suis très en colère car on a eu une chambre sombre, comme si nous étions dans un sous sol. L’employé nous a dit qu’il allait voir pour nous attribuer une autre chambre mais le personnel administratif n’a donné aucune suite. Le robinet de la salle de bain était cassé. Le rideau en tissu était troué. Le couvercle de la bouilloire était cassé et la porte du coffre s’ouvrait très difficilement.
Et au moment du Check Out on a eu en face de nous une employée très peu aimable. Aucun sourire. Elle ne nous a même pas questionnés sur notre niveau de satisfaction. Pas un merci. Pas un au revoir.
C’est ça le level d’un four seasons? Eh bien merci, je réfléchirai à deux fois la prochaine fois que je voudrais offrir des vacances anniversaires à ma fille !!

Ce n’est pas le four season le plus ultra de la chaîne mais cela reste un bel endroit avec un bon service .
Restaurant bleu très bon, meilleur que le bistrot chic du dernier étage à mon goût
Des petits détails qui pourraient être améliorés, nous avions une immense terrasse face à la mer. Il y avait 2 transats mais ps de table et chaises, ce qui faisait un espace totalement vide, c’est dommage.
La plage pas encore ouverte et pas du tout entretenue .
