Nous sommes désormais des clients réguliers de l’hôtel et c’est toujours un plaisir d’y séjourner. Le personnel nous reconnaît, ce qui rend l’accueil particulièrement agréable. L’équipe est constamment courtoise, professionnelle et chaleureuse, ce qui contribue beaucoup à la qualité de l’expérience. À chaque visite, nous retrouvons cette atmosphère conviviale qui nous donne envie de revenir.

Nous souhaiterions toutefois apporter une petite nuance. Avec cette fidélité et cette régularité, un suivi plus attentif de nos préférences rendrait nos séjours encore plus agréables. Lorsque nous venons au Mövenpick, nous recherchons avant tout le confort. Nous apprécierions donc que cette fidélité soit accompagnée d’une attention particulière à ce niveau.

I would especially like to highlight the outstanding service provided by Sihem at the reception – professional, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make sure every detail was perfect. She truly embodies the spirit of five-star service.

A special thank you as well to Adel, the Chief Concierge, whose deep knowledge, generosity, and kindness made our experience even more memorable. Whether it was restaurant recommendations, local tips, or last-minute arrangements, Adel handled everything with elegance and efficiency.

The entire team at the Mövenpick made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. From the pristine rooms to the delicious breakfast and the peaceful atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations.

Hotel was located in a good place.
I'm quite upset with the hotel management because I had to change my flight and preponed it by one day. So I asked hotel to refund the 1 day that I am not staying, and they rejected (saying that I booked a nonrefundable room). Yes I did thinking I will not have to change my date. This was a business trip and I had emergency, plus in this environment, changes can be done. In the end hotel took money for 1 day that I did not stay. I travel globally and never faced this kind of unprofessinalism before. So be careful when you book a room in this hotel, in case you might need to change (and if you booked a nonrefundable room) no way you will get your money.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your hotel, which has unfortunately left a very negative impression. I believe it is important to bring these issues to your attention in the hope of prompting necessary improvements.
During my stay, I encountered multiple service failures and unprofessional behavior, including:
1.Failure to provide wake-up service.
2.Delayed restaurant service.
3.Presence of insects: I noticed squeaks in the bathroom, which were not present upon check-in. This raises concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance standards.
4.Luggage transport issues: Upon departure, I requested assistance with luggage, but after waiting half an hour with no action, I had to move my bags myself.
5.Billing disputes and rude behaviour: I was surprised to find an incorrect charge on my bill, linked to a room number (119 instead of my actual room 145). When I pointed this out, the receptionist, Khadija, repeatedly questioned whether I canceled the service and insistently asked, \"Is this your bill?\" despite my showing her the correct bill. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. The duty manager's attempt to dismiss her behavior as joking was unsatisfactory, and I expected an apology rather than denial.
These issues, coupled with the overall rude attitude and lack of accountability from the staff, have severely tarnished my perception of your hotel.

Im sure the property was beautiful when it was first built but it seems like not much has been done since then. its in great need of updating. from the rooms, to the restaurant, lobby, spa, gym, pool area and the beach, everything is old and falling apart. The staff were very nice and friendly, but at times it seemed that they didnt have much direction on what to do and what was the proper way to deal with guests.

Please look elsewhere. Pool onsite to include a restaurant was inoperable. This Was not listed when booking or I would have stayed elsewhere .

Photos do not show true aesthetics of currently maintained state of property.

Grounds are dirty and need cleaning. Several rubble/rocks located near pool site and can render trip hazards to guest and staff. A mini pool that is not in use needs to be drained as it a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Seriously, not safe for the general public.

My room was dirty! The property needs renovation. Please look elsewhere. I’m serious.

Be advised that the spa has a pool that children can take advantage of during the hours of 8 am to 12pm. But be careful to use the correct door when entering or staff will scold you.

The spa staff were unkind and unwelcoming. For this to be a “5 star property”, I would hate to see what the 4-star options look like.

The front desk staff was kind and the lobby and front of the property is well maintained. I felt as though we were thrown into a poorly kept room with a questionable sea view.

All in all, will not stay again. Please be advised.

I will be back!!

The beauty was marvelous!!! The stars were so clear in the sky and the sound of the ocean brought great relaxation. The hotel staff was incredible! We were there celebrating my husbands birthday and they each celebrated him with an act of kindness - whether it was birthday cake or a glass of wine or just very kind words. Also, our luggage didn’t come when we landed and the manager and front desk staff ensured that we went to the right stores and that we received funds that were being sent to us. I want to come back to this place annually!!

My first two night were horrible until I spoke to Asil in the reception and he made my stay turn from horrible to fantastic! Very nice and friendly environment. Movenpick with Asil gets 10/10. One thing I didn’t like is that I was told at check in that breakfast was included however, I had to pay for it at checkout ( room of improvement )

Check in took more than an hour to get the keys to the room. The welcome drink was served after 7h from checking in - and what a drink, the worst lemonade I’ve ever tasted.
THIS ONE IS A HUGE PROBLEM: THERE ARE NO HANDICAPPED RAMPS AND NO ELEVATORS. I have a stroller, it was a nightmare to go in and out of the room, too many stairs. This is a red flag for a 5 stars hotel.
The hallways have a musty/moldy smell, they love blaming this to the proximity to the sea but there are techniques and equipment that can fix this.
Room is the biggest disappointment, reserved sea view and paid extra for it and I get a partial view room looking at the roof of below rooms. They didn’t want to change the room and claimed that all the rooms are full - the hotel didn’t seem that busy during breakfast, wtv, when you reserve through Expedia, they give you the worst room they have, this is not the first time that this happens in Tunisia, Expedia’s customers are second class customers. That’s a shame. The shower was broken, the hot water had no pressure and it was not hot enough to be able to take a confortable shower.
When I went to express my dissatisfaction about the room, the checkin, the lounge, etc, there was NO EFFORT whatsoever to remediate the situation. I even told them that I will dispute the charges with my bank, and the receptionist said go ahead, I said, you don’t care about the customer experience and about a bad review - she said we are fine.

Super attentive staff. Excellent food. Room was perfect with a slider facing the ocean for gorgeous views and waking up to the sounds of the waves. Spa treatment was superb. Perfect mood lighting, usb plugs bedside. The restaurants and pool were just delightful. We at and drank at the breeze several times! Not sure why previous reviews were so unpleasant. I was greeted with fresh juices, fast service and clean and comfy room. Wish I could have stayed longer. Seems recent renovations have been made. I stayed at the residence before, and for the price of a basic room there, you can live it up at this hotel with all the amenities right on the beach. “The Kitchen” has amazing steaks. Big breakfast buffet. Fast WiFi. Don’t forget to hit the hammam, ask for Sophie! She goes above and beyond. Can’t wait to go back. So romantic and relaxing. Hubby and I were really happy our entire stay.

I liked the place, they upgraded by sea view to a beach view. I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast though after hearing breakfast was the best in tunis. But I think people meant the sunday brunch. Which I didnt get to experience cause i didnt know. Maybe because they closed it because of covid?

After giving me the bottle menu, I did wanted a rose champagne the first night, as my bride loves Rose. But all they had was veuve clicquot which cost double the rose. I wasnt too sure if they were trying to upsell me or they really didnt have. I still bought it anyways.

had a couple of ants in the bathroom and the table above my bed, but nothing too serious.

the staff was fantastic, I was very generous with tipping because they were awesome.

The pool and spa facilities are great for a weekend away in Gammarth. Staff were very friendly and helpful. But for a hotel for this price the condition of the bedroom was disappointing. Our room had a leaking pipe in the bathroom, and ceiling lights that were dangling from their sockets. The robes provided had holes in them and there was old room service left outside of the rooms next door to us for the entire 24 hours we were staying. The hotel felt a bit tired and like it could do with a deep clean.

We liked the location. We booked a Deluxe room with beach front for $450 a night. There was mold in the first room we were given and we requested another room. We were told that they were preparing another room for s. We left for lunch and when we came back our luggage was transferred to another room, which seemed slightly better. However, we found some paint drop on our suitcases, which indicates that the moldy area in the second room was covered. We gave up and left for dinner. That shouldn't be happening in a 5 star hotel.

the overall impression is really nice, the staff is the best so far I have seen in Tunisia knowing that I haven't had an up to standard level of hospitality before in the country but at Movenpick the staff was remarkable, very attentive to details and friendly. The room was not that large and had cracks in its walls, the furniture was very good though it could be better considering that its the most expensive hotel in the area, the room service staff were punctual and professional, I loved it that they have a menu for overnight orders, I had the shrimp ceaser salad and the grilled fish platter which were good but lacks more garniture. we stayed for 2 nights right after our wedding, the front office staff had a very nice arrangement for us in the room with a special cake and fruit platter to welcome us. Overall to sum it up, it was a memorable stay :)

The hotel is really nice. Located in a beautiful area. The service was very good from all the staff. The breakfast was not great. The variety and quality could be improved big time. As for the spa, the gym has very old equipment from Technogym which is not my favorite as well. The room could use some maintenance as well.

Our best experience in a hotel, ever.

We have just returned from a trip at the Movenpick Gammarth hotel, and we honestly cannot say enough good things about our stay. Instantly, from the moment we arrived the service was incredibly professional but so warm and welcoming. The hotel itself was lovely; we loved coming back from a day out to relax in the spacious lobby or take a walk around the lush grounds. Eating our breakfast whilst looking out over the sea was something to look forward to every morning, and having multiple spots available to relax around the grounds almost made it feel like we had the hotel to ourselves even when it was busy. The food itself was delicious in both restaurants that we tried. The rooms themselves were furnished simply yet beautifully, the bathrooms felt like a spa.

Above all else, the service provided by the hotel staff was beyond anything we have received before. We have to give a special thank you to Kamal who worked in the restaurant, and provided the highest levels of care and attention, cutting us fresh fruit every morning and remaining so attentive you wouldn't imagine he's tending to all the other tables within the restaurant also. Even when there were many people at breakfast, he would bring us our tea and fruit outside when we had finished, though we were perfectly able to do so ourselves. Hussein was also wonderful. My mother-in-law uses a wheelchair, and the hotel did all they could to accommodate her and make her feel comfortable. We already cannot wait to return!

The service and the hotel stuff were really bad,. Any customer needs. 30- 45 mins just to get served then another 30- 45 mins to get the order in every service expected at the hotel. Also, wherever you go the stuffing will keep asking if you're residents at the hotel and if yes then the room number please! I was stopped and asked while inside the indoor pool , the service is big mess and truly need to be change and improve the ability of their worker to speak with good manner and attitude. For me is it 3 start hotel. All what they got is great location and great rooms.

Over priced

The hotel is good but they have to work on hygiene and on night service.
The room is nice but the property is a bit expensive and over priced.

It is a good hotel comparing to other hotels in the area. It's not ideal, but the tee am there are doing their best. Price is a bit high for this property
