We loved this hotel. The room and the views were incredible. The restaurant was amazing (get the filet with the cheese sauce - delicious). All of the staff was very accommodating and kind. Would absolutely stay here again.

Service was superb from Haytham in front office to Hazma at the restaurant and all the others that I can’t recall their names. With a smile and very professional - made me feel at home. The view from the hotel is magnificent - the blue Mediterranean is right in front of you. I ate at the restaurant every night different things - loved the sea bass and the meze of sea food but everything was excellent. All in all I had an excellent stay at La Villa Bleue.

The views from this hotel are magical and breathtaking. Also, one of the most comfortable pillows I’ve slept on in a hotel room. It’s smack in the middle of all the touristy areas so there are ample options for food, shopping, and opportunities for picturesque views. I highly recommended staying here.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The Wi-fi was not working well even though it worked well in other parts of the city. The staff were OK but it very helpful although there were a couple of stand outs. The restaurant was outstanding. One of the most attractive hotels that I have stayed in. Extremely comfortable beds and many well appointed seating areas thought the building. This was a family trip but would’ve ideal for a romantic trip.

Very lovely architecture and interior design. Very clean and nice staff. Room did not have a kettle to make tea or coffee. Only two small typical bottles of water. No fresh towel or turn down service. Food was poor for 5 stars - breakfast much better at lower star hotels we stayed in in Tunisia.

This is a beautiful property with excellent views and a great staff! Everyone was helpful and friendly. They arranged well educated guides and drivers for us. The sunrise and sunset views from the property were gorgeous - in fact, the locals come to this place to see the views! The detail and craftsmanship in the décor and uniqueness of the suites was truly remarkable. Very safe area and the people of Tunis have beautiful souls. Great trip!

Beautiful location but the hotel is really a 4 star or 3.5 star hotel not 5 star. Some of the staff are real nice and some with attitude (e.g. i could not log into their wifi. The person at the desk told me \"i do not know what to do. This is your computer!\" Food service rather slow. The area is pretty remote and after two days of stay gets boring. Again, a few of the people were very nice and I appreciate it very much. My first two days in Tunis I had stayed at Dar El Jeld which was pure fantastic.

This boutique hotel is very well located at the heart of Sidi bou Said, overlooking the sea. We stayed 7 nights which we’ve thought was too long as there are only a few restaurants in the area, all overpriced for Tunis. The restaurant at the hotel is even more expensive and should be avoided. From the hotel we could walk down to the beach, which was the highlight of our trip. The access to the hotel is very difficult and most taxi can’t go in front of the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage and want to commute in and out of Sidi bou Said, you should avoid this hotel. We liked the breakfast at the balcony with a nice view, and we didn’t like the fact that there was not tea pot, tea or spoons provided inside the room. We mostly dislike the morning front desk manager named Assad who had a very bad attitude and wasn’t helpful at all. He definitely spoiled our experience at the hotel. The rest of the staff are rather friendly. For the price we pay, we expected a better service. Overall we don’t think we will go back to this hotel, but for honeymooners, staying there 2 or 3 nights is not a bad choice.

NEARLY PERFECT STAY

I brought my mother from Colorado USA to Tunisia after we celebrated the commencement ceremony of the completion of my graduate degree in Paris. It was my 3rd time to Tunis and her first time. We absolutely LOVED the hotel. The staff was FANTASTIC and they are definitely one of the best things about the property. The rooms are spectacular, views amazing, food incredible, and the service impeccable. I will definitely return. The ONLY drawback was there is smoking in the restaurant (INSIDE AND OUT) so we avoided eating there and chose room service or ate elsewhere (although the food is great!). If they prohibited smoking in the restaurant I think they would be busier and it would make the overall feel of the property cleaner and healthier and closer to a spa-hotel or luxury hotel.

This was an amazing experience! The presentation of the room was absolutely wonderful. The room has amazing patio and the lovely swimming pool and the blue sea is right in front of you. As we had to leave early in the morning at 4:30am, the hotel prepared and delivered breakfast to our room at 4am. We had our early morning breakfast looking at the down over the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is situated on the best location at Sidi Bou Said, and it is absolutely the best hotel in the best place in Tunisia!

I spent my wedding night at La Villa Bleue and it was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and polite. The front desk were very knowledgeable and helpful. We were staying at the Iris suite:
-bed extremely comfortable
- room service very fast and the food is delicious.

Disappointing downgrade

Nice boutique hotel but although I booked a junior suite that specifically states it has a Balcony/Patio, I was given a room without a balcony, nor a patio and I was told that the 2 junior suites with such an outside area were already 'taken'.
I felt being downgraded although i paid the junior suite full price and the receptionist/manager didn't compensate me with anything whatsoever.

A lovely place

A lovely stay at la Villa Bleue. This boutique hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The view is breath-taking. The hotel is very nicely decorated in the traditional Tunisian style and features an outside heated pool that you can soak into if travelling during winter time. Beauty, History, Culture and Light.

The hotel is about twenty minutes from Tunis airport at the top end of the Carthage area in a village right on the Mediterranean that has been voted as one of the prettiest villages in the world. (Rightly so!)

All the buildings are white walled, with blue doors, windows and shutters in the Arab Andalus style. (An idea put forward by a French/British Baron who settled there in the early 1900's. (Baron d'Erlanger - the house he built there is a masterpiece and worth a long visit.) Hibiscus and jasmine cascade everywhere. Orange trees line the streets. The hotel is built on the point at the end of the village and has 360 views of the sea, mountains, city and the ruins of Carthage. The hotel reflects the style of the village and is a maze of terraces, balconies, pathways and pools, through beautifully tended gardens. The rooms are varied and all have views, terraces or balconies. They are all well-furnished in keeping with the property.

A brilliant blue paradise

The photos on the hotel's website do not do it justice. It's perched on a hill above the Mediterranean and the views are phenomenal--I'll never forget the brilliant blue expanse of sea. It's a small, very charming hotel with only 13 rooms, and since it's on hill the rooms are on varying levels, all with a view of the sea or pool and each with some sort of semi-private outdoor space. The breakfast was phenomenal and they'll serve it wherever you like: in your room, outdoors by one of the two pools, in your semi-private area.

The service was top rate with a 24-hour reception desk/concierge, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The junior suite room my husband and I had was beautifully decorate with marble floors, a mosaic-tiled bathroom, and two full-length windowed doors that looked out onto the sea.

A couple things to note if you are considering booking: there is no beach access from this hotel, it's high above the sea. Also, driving there is a bit tricky. The main road up the hill stops at a pedestrian-only zone, so you have to take a back route that winds through several tiny residential streets which are only wide enough for one car.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat--I can't recommend it enough.

Exceptional location on top of Sidi Boud Sahid, view on the sea with pool in front of the bedroom. The room itself was a bit small but the bathroom was big, with a big bathtub. Very cosy and charming hotel, with unique charm, very romantic. Delicious breakfast. We were told the restaurant is very nice too but we didn't get the chance to try it. If you like small cozy hotels with charm, Villa Bleue is definitely one of them.

Ok, cute for about one day. I made a mistake this place definitely Not for business travels. I had to put my suitcase in a small table on my room or chose between my bed or the bathroom floor. Hardly room for breathing. Way to expensive for the kind of place; ok ridiculously expensive, breakfast way below expectations, I decided not to have dinner as the Kitchen did not seem too clean. In general Tunis is not a clean place, Its hard to find world class places to eat. Employes are nice. The area picturesque, not many (clean) choices or dirty for that matter

The only failing I would say is that that in room facilities , such as the standard Iron & iron board and hospitality tray with teas and coffee were missing .

A boutique style hotel really should consider such items as standard .

Late arrival and snack requirements are not available unless guests arrive within working hours .

Again, perhaps such an exclusive hotel offering should consider these things to avoid guests feeling slightly abandoned .

이호텔은 시디부사이드에서 제일 좋은 위치로 방에서 바다가 보였습니다 제가 묵은 방은 욕실 욕조 실리콘 부분과 창문 롤스크린 모서리 헤짐 커텐 바닥 끌려서 오염되어있어서 차라리 길이를 맞게 자르던지 깨끗하면 더 좋았을꺼 같습니다 출입구문 안쪽에서 개미 5마리 정도 잡았습니다 그럼에도 불구하고 15일 여행중 튀니지 호텔 순위로는 2순위정도 됩니다 전망이 아름답고 호텔 인테리어도 좋습니다

La chambre familiale dans laquelle nous avons résidé, ne correspond pas du tout aux visuels photos sur le site hotels.com. Nous sommes venus dans cet hôtel car on nous l’avait recommandé notamment pour sa vue, nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre attenante à la réception et aux toilettes, vue d’un côté sur la rue et de l’autre sur un patio avec l’arrière cuisine. On a demandé à changé de chambre en montrant les photos hotels.com, on nous l’a refusé en nous disant que la photo n’est pas contractuelle et qu’elle est pour une autre chambre. Alors pourquoi mettre cette photo? Brèf, très mauvaise expérience pour le prix que nous avons payé.

Attention, l’hôtel va prélever l’intégralité de la réservation 24 heures avant votre arrivée.
Vous ne pourrez pas payer sur place. C’est très dérangeant quand vous réservez deux chambres et que chacun devait payer la sienne !
Cet établissement ne vaut pas Dar el Jeld, dans la médina.

Les jardins sont minutieusement entretenus, les piscines sont propres. La literie est d'un confort absolu. L'emplacement surplombe une vue imprenable sur la mer, mais prévoir des chaussures confortables pour y marcher car la rue est escarpée. Le hammam est un peu dispendieux, mais il en vaut la peine car il est privé donc vous y avez une tranquillité absolue.
Seul bémol pendant le séjour : l'alarme a retenti 4 fois pendant la nuit sans raison.

On a passé 3 nuits en famille, on s’est senti comme si on était chez nous avec un personnel respectueux, à l’écoute et très disponible, et des chambres aussi belles que différentes et personnalisées. Les 2 piscines sont très belles et invitent à la nage à tout moment.

Super endroit ... magnifique vue !!! Super service et personnel très gentil peu de point négatif à part l’internet et la télévision qui ne fonctionne presque jamais et le choix au restaurant est un peu limité essayer la tarte au citron basilic c un délice 😊 je recommande cet hôtel

Tolle Lage & Ausblick - Preis/Leistung nicht ok

Einzigartige Lage in Sidi Bou Said mit tollem Ausblick. Jedoch muss man erst einmal ein Taxi finden, das einen dahinfährt (aufgrund der gepflasterten Steine wollen viele Fahrer nicht dahin). Das Hotel war leider nicht in der Lage, ein normales Taxi zu bestellen, das nach Zähler abrechnet.
Das Hotel ist an sich sehr schön, ist jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten das beste Zimmer (Deluxe Suite mit großem Balkon). Größe ok. Super Ausblick. Die Fenster sind nicht schallisoliert. Die beiden Pools sind ganz nett für eine Erfrischung. Beim Frühstück waren wir enttäuscht. Interkontinales Frühstück ist inklusive, aber laut den Mitarbeitern kostet vieles extra (Omlette, Cappuccino etc), obwohl dies alles laut Menü enthalten ist.
Insgesamt sind die Preise meines Erachtens zu hoch.

Was an der Unterkunft einzigartig war,ist das Meer Blick und die Lage ist sehr ruhig...aber was sehr enttäuschend war,ist die Sauberkeit ( gebe dafür nur 3*).. sonst service war ok und freundlich.... es ist aber KEINNNN 5* Hotel! Ich gebe maximal 4* und nur für die Lage und Dekoration ! Personal war NICHT professionell! Und die Preise sind zu hoch für so'ne Hotel! Entspricht NICHt die Qualität von 5*!! Schade ,wir waren sehr enttäuscht!!! Leider empfehlen ich nicht weiter nur vielleicht für kaffe trinken oder essen im Restaurant, ist es ok mit perfektem Meerblick! Mehr auch nicht ! Man hat ein bestimmtes Zimmer gebucht und bekommt was anderes! Also lieber gleich im Hotel anrufen und sagen welches Zimmer man gerne haben will !!!
