The hotel is fabulous and the beds super comfy. Breakfast was also great. Unfortunately it is far to walk so you must drive to a restaurant and the hotel owned restaurant was bad. They took our order but forgot us. Even when we asked about it they said it’s coming. Over an hour later the other waiter confirmed the order was not put through. Then the origin waiter said we had wanted to wait and put the blame on us. Food was okay. Can not recommend it

Some may think it a little far from the historic center but the Kalango Hotel makes you almost wish you didnt have to leave anyway. Absolutely beautiful design and the most amazing staff from the front desk to the gardeners and housekeepers. Breakfast was plentiful and the downstairs bar a delight in the evenings or probably any time when the weather permits. Comfy beds and rather large rooms when compared to those we have stayed in in the historic center. Best shower ever! I cannot thank the staff enough for making us feel welcome from beginning to end. I have always loved the historic center of Ilhabela but now I cant see myself staying anywhere else. Thank you Kalango!

A estrutura do hotel é muito boa e a comida é ótima. Porém, os quartos precisam de mais manutenção, especialmente na conservação das camas. As almofadas poderiam ser retiradas, mantendo apenas travesseiros com enxoval branco. Além disso, as colchas e almofadas apresentam um cheiro forte de mofo. Ajustando esses pontos, a experiência ficará perfeita!

Foi tudo muito bom!!! Fomos muito bem atendidos nos 5 dias que passamos no Kalango, durante o café da manhã as coisas que acabavam eram repostas rapidamente, o quarto era bem limpo e conservado. As áreas comuns também sempre estavam organizadas. Além disso, apesar de não ter academia no local, eles tem convênio com uma academia com boa estrutura e que fica próximo. Indico demais o hotel!

Somente o horário de abertura e fechamento do bar e restaurante deveriam abrira mais cedo e fechar mais tarde. E o barulho de gente falando muito cedo poderia melhora pois a acústica não é tão boa. Ponto negativo: o café da manhã é servido em buffet e os frios (queijo, presunto, frutas cortadas) junto aos demais como tortas e bolos, ficavam completamente abertos sem proteção contra moscas/mosquitos... ao se servir as moscas ja estão todas pousadas sobre os alimentos disponíveis. Nesse ponto eles realmente não tomam absolutamente nenhuma providência, nao têm mosqueteiro ou cobertura sobre os alimentos para evitar que as mesmas pousem ou fiquem ali... ao ver a situação das moscas sobre os alimentos tira completamente a vontade de consumir os mesmos.

Foram dias de muita paz, tranquilidade e descanso. O restaurante do hotel é maravilhoso (todas as massas, peixes e carnes). O quarto grande e confortável, com iluminação aconchegante. Toalhas para a praia e piscina. Recepcionistas super atenciosas… e a massagem foi um momento maravilhoso!

Melhorias que precisam ser resolvidas
Sempre me hospedo do Kalango, mas desta vez achei que a pousada deixou um pouco a desejar. A piscina que das outras vezes estava aquecida, desta vez estava como uma piscina normal e como o tempo estava chuvoso e um pouco frio não deu pra aproveitar. Fiqquei sabendo que 4 pontos da piscina não estava saindo água aquecida. E no quarto onde eu e minha esposa estávamos a caixa acoplada demorava muitopara encher. E na hora do banho a ducha estava com problema e perdia a pressão da água e perdia um tempo para pressão voltar atrasando o banho. Uma pousada desse nível é inadmissível acontecer. Espero ter ajudado pois reclamando quem sabe não acontece com outros hospedes. O atendimento, o café da manhã e a limpeza dos quartos estavam impecáveis.

Já nos hospedamos algumas vezes no hotel. O café da manhã tem diversas opções e é tudo bem saboroso. Nessa visita um pouco de barulho durante a noite e pela manhã nos incomodou (de hospedes no andar de cima e de algum reparo que estava sendo executado), mas no geral é uma boa opção.

Péssimo custo benefício. Hotel com quartos bons e grandes mas com péssima acústica. Você ouve todo o barulho dos quartos vizinhos, da piscina e da cozinha, alem de ter um gerador bem na frente dos quartos que é bem barulhento e os quartos darem para a rua, a gente ouve os carros que chegam e saem a noite! Ful despertada logo cedo pelos barulhos externos, entro vc procura um lugar na natureza para descansar e não é isso q acontece. Além disso a área da piscina está muito caída e suja, esperava algo melhor pelas fotos e pela diária de mil reais. Outro ponto que me incomodou foi o checkin às 16hs, essa informação não estava clara no Hotels.com, e o checkout às 12hs, achei péssimo essa politica, mas não sei se todos os hotéis de Ilhabela são assim, imagino q não. Café da manhã ok, nada de mais. Pontos positivos, a mata ao lado da piscina e o atendimento das pessoas que trabalham, principalmente os meninos do bar da piscina. Nao voltaria e não recomendo. Valeria se fosse uma diária de no máximo 500, mais que isso não vale a pena!

Muito ruim, não recomendo. 1. Itens do café da manhã não estavam frescos, com muitas moscas e mosquitos (vivos e mortos) em cima das frutas, dos frios e dos pães. Isso poderia ser facilmente resolvido com aquelas redinhas, que sempre vejo nos cafés de outras pousadas. 2. Não é possível pedir pratos fora do buffet do café da manhã, como tapioca por exemplo (eles fazem apenas a massa de tapioca e você recheia com o frios com mosquitos mortos disponíveis no buffet). 3. O Wi-fi não funciona. 4. Cama desconfortável e afundada. 5. Cofre super antigo e sem a chave, não tem como usar. 6. Localização ruim.

O hotel em si é bom, bonito a cama confortável, café da manhã top, porém na semana que estive hospedado o tempo estava chuvoso, acordei de madrugada com uma goteira pingando em cima da cama, pedi para resolver o problema no outro dia cedo numa boa, mas oque fizeram apenas foi tirar o criado mudo e arrastar a cama para o lado e colocar um tapete no chão, a goteira continuou. Outro ponto que me incomodou bastante foi o fato de o chuveiro estar apenas com uma parte do box, a outra parte provavelmente quebrou, ao invés de arrumarem puseram 3 tapetes e um rodo de borracha, como se resolvesse o problema, sendo assim era impossível tomar banho sem molhar todo o banheiro. Após o banho tinha que o usar o banheiro com o chão alagado e mais 3 tapetes encharcados até no outro dia quando arrumavam o quarto.

O hotel possui uma ótima estrutura (inclusive de lazer), os funcionários são muito solícitos e simpáticos e o café da manhã muito bom. Único ponto negativo é que o banheiro não tinha box no chuveiro, que era todo aberto, de modo que sempre alagava quando tomávamos banho - o hotel até disponibilizava um rodo no banheiro para puxarmos a água.

Incrivel, um dos melhores hoteis que ja fiquei. Excelente quarto, excelente banheiro. O café da manhã era incrivel com muitas opções. Quase um café da manhã colonial. Todos funcionários muito prestativos e educados. A piscina deste hotel é enorme e belíssima, realmente igual ao mostrado nas fotos. Gostei também do fato do hotel ser totalmente eco sustentavel. Uma unica dica: colocar uma estação de carregamento para carros elétricos, pois a tendencia é so aumentar. Eu estava de carro de carro eletrico e tive que utilizar as estações de carregamento de outros Hoteis.
