We booked a non-smoking room, they checked us in confirming it was a non-smoking room but gave us a smoking room. When we asked for a different room they giggled and said they had no more non-smoking rooms. This was not an error and not disclosed up front. If it was disclosed up front we would not have been as disappointed and would have considered changing hotels after experiencing the room. The price and experience/comfort did not meet expectations.

Good Airport over nighter

Fast easy free shuttle to airport in the morning although you must use a taxi, bus, or train to get to hotel. Train station is 2 blocks from hotel. Rooms are spacious for a Japan hotel, clean, and bed is very comfortable.

Well would we stay here again probably not but did it do the job yes . The pro : two blocks from train station , dinner and breakfast is right down stairs . Had airport shuttle for free that would fit your ski/snowboard gear .
The con: older building , the rooms were tiny and worn down we got lucky and got swapped rooms with some booking confusion for bigger room

Old airport hotel useful for a layover

The hotel left a lot to be desired. It is an old airport hotel with a dingy vibe. Everything was quite dated and the room had a the smell of an older hotel, but this is normal in Japan. If you've managed in other hotels in Japan, you can probably manage here.

The check out time of 10 am is ridiculous. Getting up to international airport hotel standards would help. Considering I wasn't told the check out time upon checking in, I was surprised to get a phone call at 10:10 saying that I would be charged for another hour. Not very professional.

There was mold in the bathroom, but it wasn't that bad. If you're freaked out by a little bit of wear and tear, this isn't the place for you.

That being said, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked, and there was free coffee in the lobby. The staff seemed to be able to speak English moderately well. There was apparently a shuttle also. If you're just looking for a cheap place for a layover, this seems like an alright option.

Stayed a night as had a flight the next morning. There is a local bus from the airport that costs about 250 yen and takes 20 mins and then they run a quick shuttle from the hotel back to the airport in the morning. Hotel is basic but room was clean and it is good value. Not much to do in the area but there is a mall across the road.

Overnight on way to Club Med Tomamu

We caught a larger taxi which carried our 4 suitcases and 2 bags from New Chitose Airport. We were checked in about 10 minutes and up to the room. Staff (male good English) was very effective. The room is very traditional with bamboo floor. 2 kids slept on roll out mattresses (traditional) provided and we slept in very comfortable beds. The downside of traditional is that the bathroom is extremely tiny but to be expected. In the morning breakfast was provided (included) in restaurant just off foyer. Breakfast very traditional but fine for us and kids to find something to eat. The shuttle bus from hotel then took us back to airport by 10 in the morning to meet our next shuttle to hotel. This stay was very hassle free and would highly recommend for an overnighter.

Good value for money

Stayed here only for 1 night. I've stayed in the same area before hence was familiar with the surroundings. It takes just about 10 minutes by taxi and cost about 1600¥. This time round I took a JR train to the hotel. It's 2 station away from the airport. After arriving at the station (I took the north exit), you just need to walk across the taxi stand and then cross the road. It takes less than 5 minutes. Room is small and clean. As I am just staying alone and 1 night the smal room didn't bother me. Breakfast is simple Japanese fare but it was good and tasted homely. Free shuttle to the airport but you have to make prior arrangements at the front desk. Staff are polite and speaks some English. Overall good value. Will stay here again.

We stayed her for one night before flying to Tokyo from Sapporo airport. Very convenient location to the JR station.
Check in was easy and the staff allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel prior to the check in time. The staff speak minimal but enough English, and are very curious.
Hotel has onsen but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it.
Buffett breakfast was a small selection of Japanese style foods, plus bread and juices and tea and coffee.
The room was a good size, with the bed in the middle (instead of being pushed against the wall). This was a nice change. The bathroom was the standard size for hotels in this price range. A little small but does everything you need to with hot water and good shower pressure. Plus the soap, shampoo and conditioner we were very nice.
Wifi was strong and of ok speed. We also took the free hotel shuttle bus to the airport in the morning, of which there were quite a few departure time options.
Overall, a good hotel in a good location close to the train station and airport.

Nice Hotel very close to JR Station

For me this a perfect hotel because express train stops in the nearby station going to Sapporo about 35 mins ride. and this Hotel is close to the Shin Chitose Airport and they offer free ride going to the airport. you don't need to get expensive hotel. The staff are nice and polite.

This is a clean hotel near the airport. The rooms are Japanese style small, the bathroom is smaller. Not recommended for those over 200 Lb. or 6' tall travelers. There is no transport from the airport to the hotel, but there is free transport back to the airport. It is a short train ride and 2 block walk to the hotel.

Best airport hotel in Japan\n

My flight arrived to New Chitose Airport. Roll the luggage cart right to the hotel door room. Turn left from arrival and arrive to lift for hotel lobby. Very convenient location, domestic and international departure, JR in the basement, so many restaurants within very short walking distance. Very relaxing Onsen for two nights during my stay, breakfast selection is very hot and delicious especially scramble egg. Check out only took one second.

Extremely convinient for stay and travel

We stayed for 2 nights, the hotel's location was great, it's very close to the main train station. 3 minutes walk, nearby is AEON supermarket, KFC, McDonalds and Lawson is basically almost infront of the hotel. Below hotel is Japanese restaurant which serves hearty breakfast in the morning. There's also complimentary Onsen available at the close by hotel as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for those who wants to stay at chitose. (I previously stayed at Crown Plaza, the room I chose here is more spacious)

Arrived quite late to the hotel so was unable to do much in the area. Most places close early. What i like is that its very near to the JR station. As you exit the station, just go straight. You will see the hotel to your left. Roughly about 2 traffic lights away.

Modestly priced room very close to Chitose Station (two stops from New Chitose Airport (Sapporo). Or a £10 taxi ride if you have skis and don't want to drag them around! Free shuttle bus in the morning to catch flights. Low ceilinged room with single beds on top of the tatami mats (for foreigners). Bathroom is very very compact (like on a boat) but spotless. Big Aeon supermarket across the road where you can buy anything. Breakfast at Airport very slow, so try and eat at hotel before leaving.

Transportation to hotel from airport wasn't readily accessible, requiring us to take a train (to Chitose Station which is one block from hotel). Shuttle to the airport the next day worked quite well.

Great hotel for a stopover

I had to stop in Chitose for a night due to a late arrival and needed to get to the airport early the next day. I ended up choosing this hotel for the convenience and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff and free shuttle in the morning, and it has free breakfast! The room is standard Japanese fare, small but not cramped. Sound isolation was good and has free WiFi.

My husband and choose Chitose Airport hotel because this hotel provide us free shuttle service to the airport. Very near to Chitose station. No hassle and very punctual shuttle except no clear communication when shuttle's driver did not mention to those who drop in international airport to wait when he dropped passenger in domestic flight.

Great for overnight stay to catch early flight

Hotel is close to JR station - about 5 minutes walk. Free public shower at another hotel located about one minute on foot away - didn't get to try it as we arrived at the hotel at close to 12am due to train delay. Coffee machine at the lobby made good coffee at 100yen. Vending machines available but only drinks for sale. Not sure if there's food around the hotel - didn't explore around as it was too late. Our flight was 9am the next morning. Free shuttle bus available - earliest slot at 6.15am. It was great as we managed to arrive the airport at 6.40 and done with check-in before the crowd coming in by train. Hotel was old but was okay for a night stay to catch early flight.

Only staying one night on way to Furano for skiing. Arrived on plane in evening. No clear instructions on how to get from airport to hotel. Hotel has shuttle but only runs one way from hotel to airport. Took JR train which worked but may be confusing if not familiar with trains in Japan. Hotel only 5 min from Chitose station.

In hotel: double beds not very comfortable. Typically tiny Japanese bathroom. Had 2 rooms side by side with no joining door as we are a family of 5. Loved the buffet breakfast! Just the right selection of Japanese dishes.

施設が古く、トイレも非常に小さくて使いづらい。また、室内灯のスイッチがドア付近にしかなく、ベッドから操作できない。
禁煙室なのにタバコの臭いが抜けていなくて不快。暖房器具はあるが、エアコンがなく、暑い部屋が冷やせない。
エレベーター横に貸出用のまくら、毛布置き場があったが、全て出払っていてなにもなかった。
宿泊料に見合わないホテルでした。

ここのフロントスタッフはとても気持ちの良い接客をしてくれて、気持ちが良かった。そのスタッフにホテル1階の居酒屋を案内されたが、期待を大幅に上回る素晴らしいお店であった。一つだけ残念なのが、翌朝のバスの運転手が、女性には必要以上に親密に接するのに対して、男性には極めて不遜な態度で応じる人物であった。他が良かっただけに、非常に残念。

部屋が、広くてのびのびできた。
部屋の狭いユニットバスに入ったあと、近くのホテルの大浴場のチケットがあるとのパンフレットに気が付き、フロントに確かめたら、徒歩１分で手ぶらで行けるとのこと。チェックインの際に教えてくれてたらと思いながらも、着替えて大浴場へ向う。とてもいいサービスだった。

遅い時間のチェックインでしたが、気持ち良く対応して頂きました。また、室内も少し古い感はありますが、清潔に保ってあり気持ち良く滞在できました。ただ一つ、エコに取り組んであるのは重々承知しておりますが、ボディタオルがスポンジで出来ていたので背中を洗いにくかったです。

フロントでの対応がとてもわかりやすく、スムーズなチェックイン・アウトができました。
空港へのシャトルバスがあるのも嬉しいポイントで、JRやバスまで歩いたりタクシーを呼んだりしなくていいのはとても楽でありがたい！

検温、アルコール除菌、朝食取り分け時のビニール手袋などコロナへの対策もしっかりしており、コロナの時期でも安心して利用できると思います。
