The room was larger than expected for having twin beds. It was roomy enough to maneuver around without feeling cramped. For a hotel in this price range and category, it provided all of the amenities that is to be expected. Having a free shuttle to the airport was a nice option to have, which I took advantage of. It was surprisingly in a decent location, about a 20-30 minute walk to a small shopping center, along with other food spots within the vicinity. I would stay here again.

Staff are very polite and helpful. Very nice hotel, Hard walk in snow with luggage from Chitose train station to the hotel but that’s winter in Japan. Room is small but adequate. Hotel Onsen is also small but clean and refreshing. Not bad place to stay.

The property was great, easily accessible via $16US taxi, clean, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are well appointed with everything but are a bit small by western standards. Breakfast in the hotel was solid and offered a little bit of everything. My one complaint is that the temperatures are kept too high. I think this is a Japan wide situation, but damn the hotel and my room were nuclear. Mitigated by opening the 17 locks on the window and turning the fan off.

Excellent location close to train station which connects to airport. Staff were helpful albeit with limited English speaking, but were very hospitable and were able to help with my questions. This was out last stay in Japan before heading home and they have so much to offer aside from the cleanliness and friendly staff. Firstly the rooms are super decent to size, even fitting a mini couch was such a tasty touch. The bathrooms were fully stocked with toiletries for 2 people. They offer a free spa/bathhouse but we didn’t have enough time to visit it. They also offer free bus rides to the airport! Super awesome for people with big luggage or big groups. The restaurant attached to the hotel is great for late night drinking or snacking. The more we got into the night, the more impressed we were. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and last night in Japan!

Queen's Hotel Chitose is a very convenient location to Sapporo's airport. Ordinary rooms are quite small, but I appreciated well-appointed room and the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. I opted to buy the breakfast in the hotel's restaurant and I'm glad I did. They gave me a multilayered bento box with plenty of Japanese tastes to savor. Chitose itself may not be the most interesting city to visit in Hokkaido, but the convenient access to Sapporo and the airport via the nearby train station make it worthy of your consideration.

1. I called the hotel to see if I could get a shuttle from CTS airport to the hotel, and they told me “yes, just call us when you land and we’ll send one.” When I called upon landing, they told me I had to catch a taxi, but when we arrived at the hotel, there was a shuttle that had also just arrived from the airport. They did provide a shuttle from hotel to CTS airport 2. When I arrived, they gave us a smoking room, although I had requested non-smoking. Of course, I could have accidentally clicked “smoking” during booking, although I don’t smoke and would never intentionally choose a smoking room… so I’m a little leery. 3. Otherwise, the hotel itself is a 10-min ride and close to the airport.

Comfortable and good value

Easy walk from station on a fine day. Nice hotel with a quite small and compact room which is common in Japan. Room was modern and very clean and tidy. You get a choice between western and traditional Japanese bedrooms - we chose western and the beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast was a set menu brought to you on a tray as is often traditional in Japan. So if you like a breakfast bar from where you can choose what you want this is not available. But you do have the choice of a number of 'tray' options - again we chose western. This was, as you would expect in Japan, nicely presented and of good quality, with half a dozen different small plate items.
They advertise they have a free shuttle to the airport, however last shuttle is 10.45 am so if you have an afternoon or evening flight you have to find your own transport.

Great place to stay for early flight catching

One of the satisfactory hotels so far which staff speak decent English. Coupons to receive free drinks from a cafe next door were given to us upon check-in too! The room was well furnished and equipped with good amenities and facilities. Do take note that should you select a smoking room (due to cost-savings), please expect a faint woody/musky scent on the pillows and in the room. The hotel also provides shuttle bus service for free, which is very helpful especially for those who are catching morning flights.

Great stay! would recommend!

Loved the hotel and would recommend to others. The only complaint i have is it would be nice to have one more earlier shuttle to the airport. I was told i would have enough time to check in to my 7:45 flight with a 6:35 shuttle. This is NOT true on a busy ANA flight to Tokyo. Huge lines. I had to request from an employee to jump in front of the line in order to get checked in in time.

The rude guy in the reception wanted us to pay for breakfast for our kids although breakfast was included for four people. They told us the included breakfast was only for ADULTS. Great value for money! The hotel is relatively new, modern designed and it offered free parking right outside the hotel, which was very convenient. In addition, it has public bath located at the first floor, though not natural hot spring water, but the facility and setup was great! Staff were very helpful to make dinner reservation for us upon email request before our arrival. Location wise, quite convenient, its 2 streets away from an Aeon mall.
Will return to this hotel is need to travel to Chitose again!

Checked in after 8 on so very tired after a long flight. Thankful there was a restaurant we could eat at. Fresh seafood in individual portions to share. Very nice to have a public onsen afterwards to relax before bedtime. Complimentary water and coffee pods in room.

Good hotel to stay for early flight departures

Booked this hotel as I have a early morning flight to catch the next day and the hotel provides airport shuttle service.

Shuttle service is prompt and starts at 6.35am, reaching the terminal at 6.45, in time for my flight at 7.30am. Need to remember to make reservations at check in.

Good location near to JR Chitose station and Aeon mall. Room is clean.

Budget hotel for a breif stop upon late arrival

I stayed in this hotel after late arrival to Hokkaido and planned to move north the day after. In winter, the walkway to hotel is generally paved and easy to walk. The hotel provided free shuttle service to nearby JR station & airport.

Location wise if you want to be near the airport, this would be a good choice. It has free shuttle bus that takes you to the airport (~10-15 min ride). There is a mall nearby. Service was great, the staff was very willing to help if you have any questions. Room is a bit small, but this may just be standard for Japanese hotels. It even has a free public bath on the first floor.

We have 2 days holiday in this hotel. The room is very small, is not valuable for ₩390,313 for 2 days. The hotel spring is artificial hot spring and hot spring mixed. We have arrived train station at 12pm, no bus, no taxi with darkness, snow and -6 degree, I asked train station staff to call hotel for help calling taxi, because no one speak English. But hotel did not do it, she just said her \" no idea\". We have Stand on the road and took 2 large luggages along the both side for waiting any car or taxi help us to find hotel. I am really unhappy for this lobby staff. I hope that there will not be the next traveler encounter this unfortunate thing again. Hotel restaurant is okay, if you like local food.

Comfortable 3 night stay

A comfortable room which was bigger than most of the other hotels we stay in during our Japan travel. We put up our do not disturb sign so our room was not made up during our stay. However, they still provided a bag of fresh towels and toiletries outside our door which was a pleasant surprise. The location was a few minutes walk from the Chitose station. Not much in the area, however we picked this hotel because it was close to the station so we could visit Sapporo and Otaru for the snow festivals. Affordable price.

A nice surprise.

Typical Japanese meticulous attention to detail-terrific presentation and clearly well maintained. Very difficult to get a room that sleeps 5 in Japan- this was a futon on tatame matting- but room was was very small. Took us about 1.5hrs to get set up between 5 people and 6 bags of luggage/ skis! Still, no hesitation recommending.
