No safe in the room! (Not sure how this would go down with travel insurance if you had items stolen. Unlikely in Japan, but not impossible)
Shower over bathtub is not as good as many of the newer hotels walk in showers.
It’s easy to get to on the tram from the train station, just be aware if it is any kind of holiday or festival, the tram will be rammed and you will have to wait a long time for it. Made worse if you have luggage. So get a taxi if that’s the case.

Great hotel with a very clean room, phenomenal breakfast and very friendly staff. It is conveniently next to the tram station that is about a 10m ride to the shinkansen station (can also walk). Nice location, there is plenty of shopping and food in the surrounding area.

We love the Nagasaki Hotel Forza. Our bed was comfortable and they finally have Wifi available in every room. It's located in a shopping mall and Nagasaki is an easy place to walk in. There's a lovely pastry shop right across from the hotel as well as a few located very close to it. It's an easy street car right from Nagasaki Station. You can also take street cars to the Atomic Bomb Museum and to Glover Gardens. Cafe Hirai, our favorite breakfast place, is an easy walk away from the hotel.

Hotel Forza is conveniently located in a shopping arcade with many restaurants and shops in the area. It is also within walking distance to many sights and also has public transportation n it's doorstep.
The staff is very friendly and responsive to any requests.

I was worried about this hotel being a “love hotel”, due to its strange name, and about the distance from the Bagasaki train station. I needn’t have worried. This hotel is a very nice business-type hotel, and as others have noted before me, the hotel breakfast was excellent, with many Nagasaki specialties to try. The room was very clean and actually spacious by Japanese standards, and we had an actual bathtub in the bathroom, and a walk-in shower. The hotel is on the number 1 tram line, which you can board right outside Nagasaki station using a Suica card. The hotel is just inside the entrance of a covered shopping street, which had many great shops including Marimekko and Second Street. There is a local shop selling Nagasaki pork buns on the corner. The room was very clean and the cleaners respected my do not disturb sign.

Hotel Forza Nagasaki is great - it was clean, conveniently located above a shopping street with restaurants and stores, and close to bus stops. The hotel provided additional amenities near the front desk (e.g., microwave, laundry, vending machines, packets of toiletries). Our room was relatively spacious. There was space to open up both our luggages and enough table space to put stuff. We were provided with comfortable slippers as well. There were leg massage machines provided in the room; however, we didn't use them. Lastly, the hotel offered luggage store before check-in and after checkout. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Avoid this dated property. Good location near Chinatown and local shopping district but ten minutes streetcar ride from the train station. Room ventilation was poor and I had difficulty sleeping. Clean room but furniture a bit worn. Breakfast was decent though.

I was expecting an efficiency room, but this was much more like a western hotel room. It was nice and big, with some extras like foot and back massagers, and bottled water. The staff seemed like maybe they were overworked or annoyed with me, but they were still polite, just maybe tired of guests like me making mistakes with the check-in screens.

All in all, this was a great place and a good surprise. I really loved Nagasaki and recommend more people go there. But not too much more, it’s good because it is not over-touristed yet.

Great Hotel, would be back again!

Located in the mist of shopping street with many food options around. It is well connected by buses and trams. The service was great and the room is new and nice.

The slight down sides are that the room is slightly smaller, and the hotel is located quite a distance from the train station (about 20mins walk).

It was a quick ride on the Tram to the hotel. The area around the hotel offered great transportation spots for accessing where we wanted to go. Very close to the hotel we found “Boulangerie by Prunelle. Just follow your nose and you’ll find it! A treat from here and the coffee machine for guests at Hotel Forza Nagasaki makes a nice treat. Our room at the hotel was very comfortable, as was the bed. We would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful modern, clean hotel with great amenities. The room was very comfortable. Some kind of chair would have been appreciated. The bath set up was great. Breakfast was available and I was able to make the decision to buy a ticket on the day I wanted it. It is in the heart of a lovely pedestrian shopping precinct with lots of dining options. Easily accessible on the Number 1 Tram from the train station and then tram to the main tourist destinations in the city.

The location is convienenet to a shopping center, many bars and restaurants and near a tram station. If you are traveling without a car, take the tram. Its a good 20 min hike from nagasaki station and can be inconvienent if you have luggage. The tram is easy to use and drops you off in front of the hotel. The checkin process is easy and the room has a leg and back massager in the room. Perfect for anyone after traveling around the city. The price is excellent as well.

Plenty of transportation options for sights to see and at the tail end of the Shinkansen line (as a sign in the station boasted). Would happily return here!

We overall enjoyed our stay at the property, although there was a notable issue regarding parking due to a language barrier with the front desk receptionist. Unfortunately, the receptionist's limited proficiency in English led to a misunderstanding about the parking fees. We were informed that using the hotel-affiliated parking lot (located near the 7-eleven) would cost 1200 yen per night. The receptionist handed us a parking voucher, instructing us to insert it into the machine upon exiting the parking area.

To our surprise, we ended up being charged 4500 yen for both nights with no hotel discount applied. Upon reflection, it became apparent that the receptionist likely intended for us to present the discounted voucher to the parking lot employees before paying. I hope that the property takes steps to improve the English communication skills of its employees, ensuring that they can effectively convey important information to customers. This enhancement in communication would undoubtedly contribute to a more seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Great location, right in the middle of Chinatown, but the property is a little dated. But for a short trip it's great for being right in the buzz of the action in Nagasaki. Easy to get around to everywhere. Service was great - the staff helped us tremendously in arranging transport of our luggages to the next location.

The property is in a prime location. This is your place to stay if you want to be in the middle of “everything”. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The room had a foot massager and electric heating pad which was great.

My low review is for the room itself. It appears dated, but aside from that, our room was dirty. The bathroom smelled like pee to the point where we had to keep the door shut in order for our room to not smell. We also noticed the carpet had a moldy/ mildew smell and cracks in the walls/ AC had mold showing. We kept the dehumidifier running, but that didn’t seem to help much. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night. We wouldn’t have been able to handle the smell any longer.

In addition, they were running mosquito repellent in the hallway 24/7, with no explanation of why. All members of my party had sinus issues when we checked out.

Hotel is located in a covered shopping street. Close to Chinatown and a streetcar directly next to the hotel.

The hotel is clean, has decent wifi. Real washers and dryers. So you can just dry if you need.

A couple things that stood out was that the towel rack is directly above the toilet. So if you are taller then about 5'8\" you will hit your head on it. Plus the towels like to fall into the toilet.

Next is the shower. The spray nozzle aims straight away from the wall and is located up high. Can't be adjusted either. So if you are shorter then 6' it sprays you directly in the face.

Minor issues that can be fixed. Still a decent hotel.

Location was great just near the Spectacles Bridge and within decent walking distance of many shrines. Hotel was nice and clean and the extra pillows in the closet were very helpful. Staff was very kind and helped us send our luggage to our next accommodation. They said it would get there in two days but it was there overnight when we got to our next place! Very helpful, kind and patient!

Location is fantastic & exceptional, the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and great views on riverside. The only issue is you have to pick up instant tea and coffee plus the condiments in the hotel lobby. Whoever thought this would be Covid safe needs to be rethought. They don’t have a place to just to buy coffee or juice in morning however you have to go buy a set meal breakfast or they can’t take you to sit. Crazy to turn business away and inconvenience customers to walk to 7-Eleven.

Very convenient location, off a main street and just a few meters into a covered shopping street. Easy to get to sites and transportation. Large and comfortable rooms for Japan, with new facilities, good breakfast. Parking is also nearby, but there didn't seem to be instructions on the web site as to where to park. So where to park initially to unload luggage is unclear. We parked on the street, and then asked directions. The front desk is on the 4th floor, so it takes some time to get there.
