駅からホテルは結構遠い。路面電車が便利で五島町で乗り降りするとホテルに近い。ホテルの前には軍艦島ツアーのオフィスがありお勧めしたい。前もってオンライン予約が必要ですが、分からなければオフィスに行って聞くと良い。ホテルの近くにはゆめタウンがあり、湾岸沿いを散歩するのも景色が良いところだ。殆んどの観光地は路面電車で片道140円と安くて便利。
私達は7階に4日間滞在したが、部屋から出るとそこらじゅうに袋が置いてあり、まるでゴミの山のような状態であった。それにはびっくりしたのと嫌な気がした。綺麗に片付けておいて欲しい。

APA Hotels are always a solid choice for a business hotel in Japan. Rooms are small but efficient. Beds are very comfortable, although I wish they had an option for thicker pillows.

The rooms are quite small. Hard to move around without bumping onto people or furniture. The room size is more suitable for a single bed. The double bed occupied most of the room space.

Staff at reception are nice but it would help a lot if there is at least one who could communicate in English better.

One of our rooms had food on the carpet and the bathroom smelled strongly of urine when we arrived, suggesting the room had not been cleaned. The reception moved this visitor to another room when we mentioned it, and were clearly embarrassed by this problem. We also spotted a cockroach in the dining area at breakfast on our final day. As the breakfasts were already prepared and plated on a table ahead of diners coming down for breakfast in the morning this is not great for food hygiene.

The location was good—easy walking distance to Dejima. No hotel parking—must pay to park at commercial lots. The hotel was a typical Japanese business hotel with tiny guest rooms. The breakfast was not very good. Overall, way overpriced for what you get, in comparison to many others Japanese hotels we have stayed in.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is located close to a tram route so it was easy to get around the city. Our room was of a generous size for Japan, and had two large single beds.
There was a choice of either a Japanese or Western breakfast, and unlimited tea, coffee, and fruit juices.

The location is excellent. We really did not have to go to the station as the trams are super convenient and the airport limousine comes just across the hotel. Many sights are close by too. Just wish the bed was not so soft and we had an option of turning on the AC as it's stuffy in a small space.

One of the better APA hotels I've stayed in. Check-in was super quick, the room was clean and the bed was much bigger than expected. Television screen was very big (if you care about that sort of thing). Not much around the immediate area, but close enough to the station area.

The hotel is a bit filthy.

The staff in the afternoon was helpful and friendly but the one at night was extremely rude. I rarely find rude staff in Japan even if that is a budget hotel.

The ventilation of the room is really poor and it's really suffocating.

Good hotel in a great location with views!

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, and the view at this hotel was fantastic! We had an ocean view, and the room size was pretty standard for a Japanese hotel room, so a little on the small side. The location was fantastic! It was easy to go out for dinner or lunch in dejima, and about a 20 minute walk to sightseeing spots like oura cathedral and glover garden. Overall, a great location at a great price!

The hotel is on the tram stop. It is easy to get to the train station, the atomic bomb museum and the museum of the martyrs. The room is nice except for a fairly hard mattress. The staff were helpful, some spoke English and some didn't but I could always communicate enough to get by.

Had a nice stay in this hotel. It was about 10-15 minutes from Nagasaki station. For check-in we had to wait until 3pm to access our room, which is fair but we were hoping to get in earlier since it was already 1:30pm. The staff were friendly though, and held our bags til check-in as well as after check out. The room was a decent size and clean. The wifi worked well. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at this hotel.

Great location

This turned out to be a great location for enjoying downtown Nagasaki. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the harbor, multiple shopping malls, lots of restaurants, cultural attractions, and transportation to the rest of the city. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, even though we spoke very little Japanese. The room, although not large by American standards, was larger than what we've seen with other Japanese hotels and was perfectly comfortable for 2 people.

Great hotel!

Not far from JR nagasaki station. Tram station just in front of the hotel.
The staff were very nice.
Clean and tiny.
There is a big shopping mall behind the hotel if you wantto shopping.
And you can walk to Amu plaza at jr nagasaki station for shopping&arcade game(not much for food)
Will stay here again!

Typical Japan Biz hotel

Typical biz hotel in Japan. Can't say it's great but can't say it's bad either. The location is a distance from the main JR station but is near the you me shopping mail and harbour which is also good. The room is small like the usual biz hotel in Japan. So, if you have big luggage, need to be prepared to lug it for at least 15mins from the station to the hotel.

For the price I paid, I cannot recommend it

I'm usually not demanding with hotels, but in this case I was a bit disappointed. To be clear, I visited Nagasaki during the Obon period, so the price I paid was certainly inflated compared to the standard (and therefore I could be more tough in my review regarding the price/value ratio). The rooms are tiny, so small that is difficult to fit in in two people (and the bed is micro, for an European). The location is kind of okay, but it is not particularly nice either. On the good side, as always in Japan, the staff was nice and the room was clean. If the price is very convenient, you could try this hotel, if it is not, look for another one!

It's a good choice for a weekend getaway.

The location was good; not a long walk from Nagasaki Station and within walking distance of Dejima. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty! However, the beds were not the most comfortable and there were only two outlets in our room: one at the desk and the other in the bathroom.

We stayed in April 2015 and were very pleased with the location, two tram stops from Nagasaki train station (Tram line 1). There are two convenience stores and a shopping centre (with restaurants) literally round the corner. Dejima (for sightseeing) and Dejima Wharf (with restaurants) were 5 min walk away. The main shopping area was 10 min walk away.

Our twin room was clean but the furniture was a little bit dated. The room size was standard for Japan. The twin beds were big, larger than standard single beds and relatively firm.

Staff at the hotel were friendly and stored our luggage on the day of departure for us. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

You get what you pay for

cheap rate so we booked for 2 nights.. Hotel is old, cleaners didn't make our bed but gave us fresh towels, carpet had holes in it, bidet didn't work, and bed was really hard. We had a great view overlooking the boat harbour and mountain beyond, and it's in a good location within walking distance to JR station. Front desk staff were nice but overall the place was too old and a bit run down for us. You get what you pay for!

Amazing location, perfect stay next to Hakata Sta.

literally within 100 steps away from Hakata Station. Good location for a short stay in Fukuoka. Nicely decorated in a simple and efficient way. Toilet and double bed for two persons are bigger than normal Japanese hotel standard in the city center. Great check out time at 12 noon.

Great for short stays but lacking atmosphere

My room faced the harbour and so it had a nice view. However that also meant it got very hot as the day progressed. The airconditioning did not cope well as the day went on and the room often felt overheated and stuffy. The window could be opened a little which relieved some of the heat. I also had problems charging electrical equipment as the only powerpoint that would take my adaptor and Mac powercord was the bathroom. That was tiresome. The set menu Japanese breakfast was tasty and served in the authentic Japanese restaurant next door. I ate out for the other 3 breakfasts as there were many other options in the city to explore. Great location for transport (train station and tram stops) along with eateries and key sites (such as Dejima). Staff in the main friendly and helped when they could with their limited English.

A couple of lovely touches

Reception was pleasent, helpful and friendly (although not being allowed to check in until 3pm was a little inconvenient).
Room was an excellent size for 1 although it was made up for two people so I assume it is usually sold as a double in which case it would have been rather small. The folded Cranes on the Yukata were a nice touch as was the bottle of water in the morning as a thank you.
The free in room Wi-Fi had very good download speed and the facilites in the room were good (with free fast WiFi there were no concerns about the TV only having Japanese)
My comments for areas to consider: The hotel only claims to be a 3 star and I think matches this and the offer price was about the right price point (full price would have been much too much). There was only one electric point (I think most people have more than one battery driven device requiring charging)

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but we are not very discerning guests. It looked clean, a bit run-down in the corridors here and there, and the staff hardly spoke a word of English, on the other hand the location is great (very close to Dejima and the Youmesaito supermarket for self-caterers) and it gave us a sound sleep for a good price.

Very nice hotel about 10 minutes walk from train/bus station. Rooms were spotless but not very big. Comfy bed & pillow. Free wifi worked fine. You get the wifi code off the tv screen when you turn it on. Great location opposite a massive shopping mall. 100 metres around the corner to the left there is a fantastic live music rock/blues bar Mon to Sat 7pm till 1am. Easiest way to get to covered shopping district: look left when you come out of the hotel and you see a service station across a main road. Walk straight up the narrow road beside it and it only takes you 10 mins. Only complaints are innefective a/c & bathroom fan not working. Also when i arrived at 2 pm told i had to wait till 3 pm to check in which is rather infelxible on their part i think. Got a good rate on Hotels.com and i enjoyed my stay there.

Hotel was convenient to local trolley. Friendly staff eager to help. Clean, obviously an old hotel that has been refurbished. Room I had was small but adequate for 2 friendly adults. very close to port area can be noisey if you open windows at night, Sounded like a thunder storm to me so was good for sleep. quality for the price was more than adequate. comfortable bath with very hot water available. Would not be adverse to staying there again.

Good location less than 10 minute walk w/rolling luggage from Nagasaki Station. On the streetcar route for convenient access to historical sites.(Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum etc.) We had an easy and interesting stroll to Spectacles Bridge. Lots of food and shops in surrounding area down to the Harbor and up around the Spectacles Bridge. Wi-fi available in lobby. Air conditioning in room was a welcome respite from early September HEAT. Room seemed more spacious w/larger bathroom than other equally priced Japanese hotel rooms.
