This is a well located "business" hotel close to the train station and on a street with several major tram lines. Their breakfast was well prepared and served in a nice sized room - not a massive dining hall. Rooms were typically sized small but with nice amenities.

Absolutely tiny hotel bedroom, which we found amusing as Nagasaki is the smallest city we visited in Japan and it was the smallest room we had. Comfortable enough but quite a tight squeeze for 2 people with 2 large cases.

Great location, just a 10 minute walk to both Nagasaki Station, and the Chinatown/Arcade area. Tram line conveniently runs right in front of the hotel.

Twin room was clean and relatively spacious for Japanese rooms. Buffet breakfast a bit pricey but good selection of Japanese and Western dishes.

Convenient parking lot two doors down, for 1000 yen/day. Hotel website should provide more details of parking location as it was unclear upon arrival.

The location is very convenient, only 5 mins to walk to the pier of Gunkan Jima and about 10 mins to Nagasaki JR station. There is car park next to the hotel and it costs 1000 yen for overnight parking, please tell the reception if you will drive when you check-in. The room is clean, large bathroom with good water pipe pumping and good air-conditioning. Highly recommend.

This hotel is located between two streetcar stops, yet still walkable from Nagasaki Station. Location-wise, it's just right; close enough to Nagasaki Station if you want to shop or take a day trip, and far enough to not be crowded during the day or noisy at night. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and there were a great plenty of amenities available. The staff even left me spare towels by the door when I put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign. The breakfast buffet had a vast selection and it took me two mornings to try everything there. They even had a tour bus departing from the hotel for Mount Inasa at night in case you're worried about planning and making the journey by yourself (I didn't use the bus but I bet a lot of others are grateful for it). I highly recommend this hotel as it is tourist-friendly and provides an excellent level or comfort and value for money!

Usual Japanese efficiency and courtesy. There was no "smoking area" within the hotel which meant smoking outside the premises. My bad habit I know, but in a country which has managed to eliminate most smoking on the street, it was a bit embarrassing

We used this hotel for one night. The room was small. We didn't have a large baggage. So it was okay for us. The room has a very small bathroom. It was clean and working well. The bed was comfortable. I would use this hotel if I needed to stay for one night in the future, but more than two nights.

This hotel is fine for what it costs, in an ideal location to the shops and station. I think this hotel has been done up a few months ago but the carpets in my room where full of dirt stans and you can hear crying chrildran from neighbouring rooms. (The walls are thin)

Location was good as it was within walking distance to Kagoshima JR and the Dejima wharf (for trip to the Gunkanjima Island). Typical Japan hotel size which tends to be small for 2 people, however, the room is newly renovated and comfortable.

Clean Hotel with a view steps to Harbour View

The hotel was very clean and comfort, the twin room is not big but not as small as usual Japanese hotel room. The location is quite good. Close to tram stop, convenience store, harbour with good view and restaurants, big department store Youme, was only a view step. Once you understand the location of hotel and bus terminal, it was very easy to reach the bus terminal by walk for another town.

The whole group enjoyed staying in the hotel as it was very accessible to various transport system: tramcar and bus. This has been my favorite hotel in a 5 week stay in Japan. I'm not even 100% sure why but I think it was because the room was the largest of any other hotel rooms I have seen in Japan. There was a tram stop right outside so easy to get everywhere plus it's only two blocks from the train station so easy to walk to pulling a suitcase.! I also got a great deal through expedia. Highly recommend.

We chose this hotel for location and price from internet listings, partly because our other choices were not available.
Stayed two nights and although our second night originally was not booked as a non-smoking room, upon arrival the desk manager was able to change our booking to have the same non-smoking room for both nights.
Tram pass for one day made seeing all major sights super easy, as stop is right in front of hotel.

Very clean and well run hotel. It had typically small Japanese rooms, although it was larger than most. The bed was a full double bed instead of the 3/4 size we found other places. it was between the 2nd and 3rd streetcar stop from the train station, about a 200 yard walk from each, or a 10 minute walk from the main JR station.

The restaurant in the lobby had a great breakfast buffet, although it was not included in the room rate.

Typical room size for Japan, Don't like their washroom layout (sink in the room, separated toilet and bathroom). Poor ventilation non-smoking floor and smoker in next door make me feels like I am in a bar surrounded by smoker. Not recommend for family with kid or non-smoker.

Location is great - 5mins walk from Nagasaki station and AMU plaza, 5 mins from Yumeisaito and just outside Ohato team station. Also just a 10-15 min walk to the Hamanomachi shopping arcade.

I booked the grand double room - not really sure what the non grand rooms are like but me and my husband had to slide past each other in the room as it was extremely tight. Pillows were not comfortable at all.

Breakfast very reasonably priced, but we did venture out most days for our morning meal.

Service was not as good as we had expected - this being our third hotel of out trip and I feel the staff could have been more helpful at times.

Overall, good value for money and great location but a bit uncomfortable for a three night stay due to size of room.

Comfortable Hotel close to JR station

Booked a nonsmoking but got smoking instead

Booked 6 nights non smoking. Arrived at hotel and i was booked for 6 nights smoking becos non smoking not available. I explained to staff that i will take 1 night smoking if remaining 5 in a non smoking room but he refused to change. It wasnt until the 4 th night that someone understood me and assigned me to a non smoking room. The 3 nights were awful because the entire floor was smoking and i kept waking up with headaches.

We paid extra for a Grand Twin hoping for a bit more space than the usual small rooms. We were disappointed. The room is tiny with nowhere for luggage. We only had backpacks so managed but if we had had even a medium sized suitcase each I don't know where we would have put them. The Grand rooms on the 14th floor are quiet, the bed is comfortable and it is clean - its just small. Free tea/coffee/mineral water and a great location on the main road just 10mins from the station one way and 10mins walk to the harbour the other. It was hot when we were there and the aircon was quiet and efficient.

easy to find, good location, asked to wait 15 minutes to check in which I thought was strange at 3.30pm. reception staff helpful, fair English, free coffee whilst I waited. room ok but small - appeared clean and smelt nice. not very efficient a/c which was annoying as it was very hot. returned from dinner around 10pm and went to bed leaving bathroom light on. woke around 2am and noticed something moving under fridge. could see this was large (about the size of my thumb) and dark coloured. grabbed shoe and moved fridge cabinet but it scuttled behind the panelling surrounding the desk. put all the lights on and eventually went back to sleep. checked room out the following morning but no sign. told desk clerk who appeared to know there was a problem ( no exceptional surprise ) but lots of apologies. finally breakfast nice - western "style"

Perfect location in Nagasaki

The best hotel I stayed in during my two week trip to Japan. For a westerner like me, the extra touches in the room like coffee making facilities (not just green tea!), flat rate pay for movies in English, and a really great wet room with the shower separate to the tub. Room was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious enough for Japan standards. My room had a beautiful view of Nagasaki Bay, from the grand floor. The hotel is in the perfect position, exactly in the middle of the city, close to the station and all sightseeing. I can't recommend it enough!

Nice Chisun in Nagasaki

This was a very comfortable hotel. ive stayed in a few Chisuns before and this was the best one so far. The room was spotless and cleaned daily and was larger and plusher than I was expecting. There is a great private onsen/sauna around the corner in another street round the corner from the hotel which is well worth a visit if your in town, and you can get some great food in Nagasaki. I would definitely stay here again. The people in Nagasaki were very friendly and I hope to return. A-bomb museum is a must if you come here.

Nice cozy hotel with a great location

For me, when it comes to choosing a hotel, location is of prime importance. Sure, one can take a taxi from a train station but it beats the purpose of staying at a hotel of this price category.

In that respect, this hotel is hard to beat. A mere 10 minute walk from Nagasaki Station. A 15 minute walk to Chinatown. A few minutes to the harbour and a shopping centre.

My second category of importance is the hotel/room itself and again, this hotel is hard to beat. The building itself looks fairly new and my room on the 14th floor was very modern and clean. The furniture, fixtures, etc. all seemed brand new.

For those who've never stayed at a hotel of this class in Japan, be forewarned, the rooms are pretty small for western standards. You'll be bumping into the furniture as you to try to navigate from one room to the other. But alas, for the Japanese, some of whom live their daily lives in 200 sq ft condos, this is normal.

With that being said, the bathroom was pretty small. I'm not a large person but my knees were nearly scraping the wall as I sat down on the throne.

Only a 10 minute walk or so from Nagasaki train station one way, and another 10 minutes or so into the town (nightlife area, chinatown, temples, river etc). Trams also stop right outside hotel for easy access to Peace Park/Museum. Room was surprisingly large on the 14th floor. Bed itself was comfortable enough, but as usual the pillow was too hard (this is the case in most hotels in Japan though). Interesting bathroom/toilet/basin setup whereby the basin was actually in the main room separated by a glass panel, but the toilet was separate from that, and in addition the bathroom was separate also. However this did not bother me, and the carpet stopped at the "basin" section of the main room. Also If you dont fancy paying for the breakfast buffet every day there is a family mart a few doors down. Wi-fi in lobby only but that was fine for me, however people on business might find it a bit of a pain.

Standard Japanese Business Hotel on Busy Street

This was a classic Japanese business hotel; compact but adequate. The bed seemed to be on the small side but was adequate for the average-sized person. The hotel is fairly centrally located, about a 6-8 minute walk from the JR train station and a 10-15 minute walk from Deshima and a covered pedestrian mall. You have to access the JR station using a pedestrian bridge, and although there is an elevator, it's still a slight hassle with your luggage. The street on which the hotel is located is very busy and the air pollution fairly bad, but with the windows of the room closed it's quiet. The buffet breakfast was standard and adequate with mostly Japanese items. Overall I was satisfied and would stay at the hotel again.

Great hotel

Great location on tram line a few minutes walk from JR station. View of harbour from some rooms. Very comfortable.
