The closest hotel to historical main Dogo Onsen house. The staffs were very kind and friendly and serve modest hospitality. You can feel comfortable time here.

Excellent hotel all around. Very good Japanese style breakfast. Less than five minutes walk from Dogo Onsen station and less than a minute to Dogo Onsen itself. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Yukata are provided for your onsen visit. Tons of shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it.

Nothing particularly special about the room or the hotel, but it was clean, comfy, and convenient. Location is excellent if you are here for the famous Dogo onsen. Staff allowed me to park my bike for free near the front of the hotel. Very friendly staff.

It is a good hotel but a little tricky because the entrance to the car park it’s just opposite the famous onsen so you have to turn right on the side of the onsen to get in.The car park is one of those that has an elevator -kind of uncomfortable to actually try to get in the door, but my husband did really well. I have pictures to prove it and our rental car was not damaged.

The hotel was a five minutes from the tram terminal, it was also close to the shopping area. The front desk crew was friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and quite. The breakfast was okay, it was a set meal with little food. The price was reasonable.

Really enjoyed staying here -- close to the onsen, they provide yukata & shoes for you to use in the local area, tasty breakfast and really competitive pricing. Not sure what they're English capabilities aren't like but they are very friendly in Japanese and helped us figure out where to sightsee the next day.

The room (and the bed), was impressively nice and comfortably big. There was even a small sitting area with a small table and chair. Front desk people were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant/coffee shop served expensive yet not-so-yummy food. Free Italian roast coffee in the lobby from 7-10am had no aroma nor taste of anything close to brewed coffee, much less anything “Italian” —-LOL!

Bathers have to bring along EVERYTHING needed to take a bath —- towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.. Otherwise, one has to rent ‘em all, even the hairdryer that works at JPYen 10 per 3 minutes. “Hot spring” water did not emit any of the usual sulphur smell at all. We were truly disappointed not to get the expected therapeutic effect for which purpose we came to this place. There were many souvenir shops selling incredibly expensive items. Not much touristy activities to do.

Rooms were cosy and clean. Fantastic location, right across Dogo onsen. On a separate note, I would recommend people to try the other, bigger and newer onsens (like Dogo Onsen Bekkan) - Dogo onsen itself was a letdown as it only had 1 bath for women and was very crowded (we had to line up in the woman’s bath to scrub down...)

浴衣を外で着用することも可能で、道後温泉本館が道を挟んで隣にあるので、とても便利な場所です。フロントの方も心温まる対応をしてくださいました。個人的にはまた泊まりたいです。
