Upon arrival the staff kindly informed us of our forwarded luggage from the previous hotel. Which was already placed in our room. Upon entry we noticed 1 piece of luggage was missing. I want to thank the staff of Dogo Yaya for their hard work in getting the luggage to our hotel within 24 hours of arrival. Service was amazing.

The onsen facilities around the hotel were good and the hotel provided the necessary clothes and towels.

The breakfast buffet had a large variety of foods which we enjoyed a lot.

I highly recommend the hotel if you're staying in Matsuyama. Next time I will consider booking a night extra, 1 day was too short.

Good location and great amenities

Overall, a great hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the complimentary mandarin orange juice taps that were provided for guests. The hotel was also located in a good location which was near the onsens and convenience stores nearby. The shopping street was also a stone's throw away. Definitely value for money and will consider staying in this property again when I am back in the area.

Enjoyable stay, some improvements can be made.

This hotel has many nice features and is quite close to Dogo's onsens. Orange juice on tap is a nice feature. The provided yukata and bathing products were appreciated and of good quality.

The guest room I stayed in had a nice layout and furnishings. The design, in principle, is good. It was a bit worn in areas, and definitely needs some maintenance and updating. Also, sunlight into the room is quite limited.

Most of the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The check-in staff did not make eye contact with me while describing the hotel and room, which was quite off-putting.

やや最高っ！

入ってすぐにオレンジジュースの蛇口があり、飲み放題で暑い夏にはとても助かるサービスでした！
近くの温泉に行こうとした時もバスタオルが6種類ぐらいの中から自分の好みのものを選べてとても配慮が効いていました！
駐車場が止めにくくホテルマンの方にお任せしましたが、とても優しくてイケメンでした！

Great location and wonderful service.

This hotel was in a great location if you want to go to Dogo Onsen and the surrounding shopping arcade. The local mikan juice (orange juice) on tap in the lobby was so fun and really yummy! The breakfast in the morning very delicious. The traditional Japanese breakfast was expansive in the dishes, the western style option was more of a continental European style than the american style breakfast we were expecting. We thought it was all delicious though. The only complaint would be the headboards are showing some age (peeling and fading) but other wise the room was a cozy japanese/western mix! The hotel also has Yukata (even in kid sizes), slippers and towels to borrow to use at the local onsens. The staff was kind and had some english speakers which helped out greatly!

The rooms in this new hotel are very distinctive. They are attractively designed with a tatami room and raised beds in a separate tatami room. Free mandarin orange juice on tap in the lobby. Elegant breakfast buffet for a reasonable fee. Close to the Dogo Onsen; the hotel provides free yukata (robes), towels and discounted tickets to the Dogo Onsen.

Everything was exceptional. They have a big installation of free tasting of three types of fresh-squeezed orange juice in the lobby. Breakfast is outstanding, mostly Japanese but some western options. Very reasonably priced and close to all the Onsen facilities—two to three block radius for Dogo Onsen and two others. Rooms are small but perfectly functional. (The double bedroom was just that essentially—a bed-room. Easy to get to from the ferry terminal—tram’s last stop is Dogo Onsen and the hotel is an easy walk. I can’t say enough about how helpful the staff was about everything.

Our greatest stay in all of Japan yet!

Me and my Husband stayed in Japan for over 28 days, and this is by far the best hotel we stayed in the whole time. The location may be far from main station but is either under 30 min tram ride or around 1600Yen taxi which can get you here within 15 minutes.
The staff are so helpful spoke very good English and we paid for breakfast at property which was fantastic with great variation of food and drinks including their freshly squeezed famous local orange juice. Rooms were spacious enough with all expected amenities, we enjoyed using their bath and bath products. They offer you discounted Onsen tickets and free traditional dress and towels if you wish to go to the oldest Onsen in Japan which is short distance away by foot. Variety of shops, restaurants and bars are all walkable within 5 min from hotel, we miss the hotel and town already!

Lovely hotel in great location

A lovely hotel very well located in The Dogo area of Matsuyama. It was a little hard to find in our car but we got there. The room was Japanese style, very pretty. Quite small but big enough for us. The bed was very comfortable. Being a bit arthritic I found sitting on the floor a little difficult though. The room only had small windows high up so you had no view. The room was good value for money and the staff all very nice.

ホテル自体は全てが素晴らしく、次回からも松山宿泊時は必ずお願いしたいと思います。
か、車で行ったのですが、ナビに入れたにもかかわらず、全く分からず、挙げ句の果てに細い道に迷い込んでしまい、バンパーを30cm以上の長さで傷つけてしまいました。
その時に側にいた方がとても親切に案内してくださって、なんとか辿り着きましたが、次回からも間違えずに着ける自信はありません。

二回目の利用です、坂の上にあるのですこし大変ではありますが、飛鳥の湯、椿の湯が近く便利です。道後本館も近いのとコンビニも近くとても便利でした。
浴衣も色が豊富、ミカン蛇口もある、タオルも種類が豊富で良かったです！

ただ前回も思ったのですが、ベッド上の棚がホコリが少しめだつかな、、、と。そこ以外は素敵なホテルでした！アメニティは豊富なので、ボディタオルがあると嬉しいです！

Great hotel w/o \"onsen\"

The hotel does not have \"onsen\" (hot spring) at its own facility. However, it does not matter much since you may want to try famous and historical \"onsens\" in Dogo area anyway.
Room was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and professional.
Only catch might be its Wi Fi speed.

一人旅で利用しました。蛇口から出る、飲み放題のみかんジュースがとても美味しかったです。施設も清潔で良かったのですが、靴を脱いで裸足で部屋まで行くのがわかりにくかったので、フロントで説明があればと思います。
バスタオルが選べて使い放題なのも嬉しかったです。フェイスタオルは1枚しかないので、外湯に持っていくと、翌朝は乾いたタオルがないです。
アメニティの品質と、エレベーターが1台しかないことが残念でしたが、コスパ的に大満足で、道後温泉に行く機会があればまた利用したいと思います。

Die Anreise mit dem Auto erwies sich als schwierig. Der Strasseneingang zum Hotel war nicht klar und die Straßen selbst waren sehr eng, aber das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und Parkplätze gegen Aufpreis vorhanden.
Die Hoteletage war im traditionell japanischen Stil. Nach dem Aufzug mussten Schuhe ausgezogen werden. Es standen japanische Sandalen zur Verfügung für den Gang zum Onsen. Das Zimmer selbst wirkte sehr abgenutzt. Es gab zu wenige Fenster, bzw. waren diese nur beim Badezimmer, Flur, WC und klein. Bei der Badewanne war Schimmel erkennbar und der Vorhang roch danach. Viel Staub vor allem bei den Fenstern.
Das Hotel bot Yukatas an und war sehr nahe bei den \"berühmten\" Dogo Onsens. Reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants waren geboten. Störend empfand ich es, dass bereits bei der Ankunft und auch beim Blick auf dem Fenster ein Vergnügungsviertel der anderen Art zu sehen war. Als Frau fühlte ich mich nicht sicher nachts.

スタッフの方々がとても親切かつ丁寧で気持ち良く滞在できました。ホスピタリティを感じるサービスも素晴らしかったです。一点だけ…私が滞在した部屋は、少し部屋のエアコンのファンの音が大きく、就寝時はホテルのアメニティの耳栓を使用しました。でも、その点以外は、唯一無二の素敵なホテルです。

比較的新しい施設なのと、みかんジュースの蛇口があると言う事で、初めて利用しました。
予約の際に、部屋の狭さが気になり、広い部屋を予約しましたが、それでも部屋の快適さは低かったです。
まず窓が排煙窓かと思う殆ど小さく、更に開けることが出来ないので、閉塞感がありました。
また各階で、エレベーターを降りてすぐ靴を脱ぎ、靴箱へ入れて部屋に向かうと言うスタイルでした。このスペースと廊下の広さを各部屋にあてて欲しかったですね。
食事は朝食付きにしましたが、口コミ殆ど素敵なものではありませんでした。

良かったです

道後温泉からも近く、浴衣も可愛くてすごく良いホテルでした！蛇口からオレンジジュースが出るのも凄く新鮮で、毎日美味しく頂きました！ただ、部屋に鏡が小さい丸い鏡しかなく、それも洗面台にしかなかったため、このホテルに行かれる際は、自分で鏡を用意する方がいいかなと思います！
総合的にはとても良いホテルでした！

ホテルのコンセプトは理解出来たが、もう少しの説明が必要。
ホテルには大浴場がなく外湯を利用するのだが、アメニティをホテルから持参するとかの細部の説明が必要。
外湯のタイプも色々あり、その細部の説明が必要。朝食2,300円は高過ぎますし、食べれません。ビュッフェも工夫が必要です。

良かった点
・蛇口から出る柑橘ジュース（4種類）が美味しい（無料）
・殆どの方が道後温泉に入ることになると思うがその為のサービスとフロントのアナウンスが非常に丁寧。痒いところに手が届いている印象
・一階のくつろぎスペース的な所で飲み物のサービスに加えて鯛茶漬けまで食べれる
・朝食バイキング2300円だが値段相応のクオリティ。種類も豊富で味も一定以上、朝から沢山食べられるという人には特にオススメ出来る。個人的にはフレンチトーストが1番美味しかった。

悪かった点
・朝食でマスクとビニール手袋をさせられたが衛生的に無意味だし、マスクさせるんだったら入る時に新しいマスクを渡さないと逆にウイルス持ち込まれて不衛生。
やってる感出す為だけに顧客に不快と不自由を強いないで貰いたい。どこのホテルも似たようなものだが。
無意味なアクリル板がないのはまだ良かった。

総評
・良いホテルで機会があればまた使わせてもらいたい。

清潔でとても良いホテルでした。Wi-Fiが弱かったのと、細かいですが置いてあるアメニティーの袋の字が小さくて化粧水なのかシャンプーなのかよくわからなかったのが残念ポイント。朝食も美味しかったしまた泊まりたいです。
