The train station is across the street and you are within walking distance of a mall. The on site restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I would stay here again when I come back to Japan.

Fantastic business hotel next to a train station
The room may be small, but it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. High-speed internet is readily available and easy to use. The cleaning staff comes only when requested, making it a very eco-friendly option. One of the highlights was the bathhouse (sento), which stays open late and is perfect for relaxing after a long day. The surrounding area is pleasant, featuring a small park and being conveniently close to restaurants and the train station. I highly recommend staying here if you prefer a quieter experience away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

As a solo traveller, the room was perfect. Plenty of luggage space and all the room requirements in an efficiently packed space. Looks cramped but you should only really be sleeping at your hotel right? Don't forget to hit the public bath.

It was a nice stay. But for the breakfast time, they only told us it's between 7-10 AM. One time, we went like almost 10AM trying to catch the time because it would be a waste if we don't go since we already paid for it but ended up not being able to eat breakfast for that day. They NEVER told us there's a \"cut off\" time which is 9:30 AM. The next day, we made sure to be on time. During that time, there was also 1 guest trying to catch the time just like us and was not able to eat his paid breakfast because of course, he doesn't know about the \"cut off time\". So I guess, they really don't tell all their guests about it which is NOT good and so selfish. But overall, we had a nice stay.

This hotel is a bit far from the city center. You need to change the train twice or thrice to reach Tokyo city center. The good thing is that the station is just in front of the hotel.

Adequate, but a few annoying peculiarities
I got to the hotel at 1:15 pm and had to wait nearly two hours to check in. This often happens at hotels in Japan, but it was still bothersome, since I am pretty sure that they had rooms ready. There was an extremely strong smell, similar to DEET insect repellent, near the elevators on the ground floor. Speaking of the elevators, there was sometimes a bit of a wait to use them, and, unfortunately, the two stairwells are closed except for emergency use. I could not get the air conditioning to work, it kept generating warm air, even though I had set it to 16 degrees Celsius. This had never happened to me before in Japan. Maybe they had turned it off because it was December. On the positive side, the hotel is very close to and visible from the train station. The wired internet worked very well and the amenities (towels, toothbrush, slippers, water bottles) were excellent.

APA Hotel in Yachiyo Chiba was exactly as expected for an APA hotel: very small room, but very clean and modern. This location was about half way between the Airport and Tokyo, so not very convenient, but not bad, either. Overall fine for a few nights as a business traveller.

I stayed here for the second time as a weekend getaway for some events that were going on in Makuhari Messe. The hotel itself is great, as expected of the APA chain. Everything was nice and clean and they make up your room once a day, leaving behind a free bottle of water too. Toiletries and the like are all provided as well as slippers and some tea bags. There's a 7 Eleven conbini right across the street too for an easy dinner, lunch, or whatever.
The only reason I give this hotel 4 Stars and not 5 is because of the location. It's not that it's in a dodgy neighborhood (on the contrary), but that it's quite far from anything. If you're staying in Chiba-ken, you're most likely either going to Makuhari Messe or Tokyo Disneyland, both of which are at the fastest a 30 min train ride away, and at the slowest 60 min. This is because the APA Yachiyo Midorigaoka is only serviced by one train line, and a private one at that that runs only once every 20 minutes or so. If you miss one train, you're going to mess up the schedule for the other JR trains you'll be transferring to to get to where you are, making you really late. As such, I would recommend the APA Makuhari Bay instead if you can afford it for the convenience. However, if you're more on a budget and don't mind taking an hour to get where you want to go, then APA Yachiyo Midorigaoka is a fine hotel.

APA Hotel located Yachiyo-midorigaoka is an excellent hotel. Conveniently located between Narita International Airport and Tokyo, Japan. The hotel is in a small suburbia city with very light vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Directly across from the hotel is a five story shopping mall, which contains a variety of stores as well as restaurants, and a grocery store. Venturing to the left from the front door you will come to an intersection from which you can see off to the right a bowling alley and game center building, this buikding also has a 24 hour grocery store on the first floor. The hotels room cleaning service, remakes the room in immaculate condition, or you can post on the door to have just the towels and trash. I hope you have found this review useful in your decision making.

Excellent service- they helped with printing and check in and out was a breeze. The price was great (for business hotel, small rooms). The location was excellent- you can see the hotel from the station and there are plenty of surrounding shops and restaurants not too far from this hotel.

The rooms are too small. The hotels features are sparse, the neighbourhood is fairly rural. However the Aeon mall is huge and right beside, plus a train station that is one of the last stops from Tokyo. This is far from Tokyo at least 40 minutes by train, and roughly $200.00 us for a cab from the airport. Never forget you cannot get a refund from hotels if you try to check out early.
