My reservation didn’t include breakfast however I went down to the restaurant with intention to pay for it - only to be told it was “sold out” (while 1/2 the restaurant was empty). This happened three times in a row before I gave up. No explanation, no apology. I was traveling solo, so it’s not like I would drain the buffet dry.
Cleanliness is good and staff is friendly enough. Bed was super uncomfortable. I’d probably look at an alternative if I were to stay in Matsuyama again.

Lack of power outlets in room. Fridge was really small...really shallow...only 1 water bottle lying on side could fit. Water pressure was not good in shower. Room was old an outdated. Far from JR station but very close to restaurant area. Saw many other hotels around. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice. But the panel beneath the washing basin was broken for two nights and no maintenance was done. Wifi slowed down around midnight as is often the case. Overall, a good business hotel.
