Air conditioning was working! Thank goodness cause it was humid as can be outside. I’ve stayed here a few times and sometimes the aircon doesn’t work well. One thing i’ve noticed is they need to check the lights because it’s the second room I’ve had with a blinking light.

I had more than 20 hours of layover in Incheon, South Korea. This is a perfect place if you are looking for a quiet, easygoing and satisfying to spend the time rather than in the busy airport. Btw, Incheon International Airport is very easy navigate. It took three stops if you ride the airport railroad from terminal 2, and the hotel building right in front of the railroad exit.

The room is basic, nothing fancy, it didn’t bother me that they don’t provide toothbrushes and shampoos and etc., they do provide towels, bath roles, waters and others. The room is clean, I do bring onetime use of bedsheets because my friends from HongKong warned me there’s bedbugs issues in South Korea recently, just for the sake of my own sanity… I think it’s just a rumor but since I heard, I just felt to make myself feel better. Anyway, I think this hotel is very clean, I especially enjoyed the convenience of this neighborhood, I felt superb safe walking around.

I went to two restaurants, one serve the traditional Korean hot pot soups, I ordered the beef bone soup. Fantastic for the winter evening. Then I can’t resist myself going into another Korean barbecue place, the beef ribs and steaks were amazing! There’re so many choices within walking distance, 7-11 and drugstore, I am really happy with my choice. For the traveler that carries a lot of luggage, I would suggest to contact the hotel for shuttle.

Only one thing bothering me is the hotel take and keep my passport copy.

The hotel employees were helpful and went the extra mile. Breakfast varied and well organized. From the hotel you can walk to the Unseo train station, which is at a distance of two minutes from the hotel.

Dirty room on Eighth Floor!

Not so good this time. Woke up in the morning to find that one of the coffee cups was dirty with dried coffee from a previous stay. Dirty straw and food balls along the wall, behind the rectangle cushion bench next to the desk. Very disappointing.

The AC didn’t work and they sent someone to “fix” and it drill barely worked. Mold was in the AC. And staff didn’t know anything apparently because when we asked questions they kept saying i don’t know.

Great Recognition to Ms. Nara at Customer Service!!

We left a hoodie at the hotel and the staff was very helpful to secure it and helped to ship to China for me. I made the Fedex Waybill but for some reason it did not allow me to schedule a pick up. Nara helped to print out the waybill and called local Fedex to schedule a pick up. A lot extra work was done by her and we feel being treated as a valued guest.

Denifinately recommand this hotel.

HJ by Wyndham makes some odd choices.

Eco Friendly? Surprised you do provide basic soaps, but you have big disposable slippers in plastic wrap. Also surprised to see a full-size bus pick up two Pilots from the airport but won't let customers join the bus. So it runs empty to the airport and only picks up 2 people. then all the other customers have to take taxis or another bus. How is this Eco Friendly or even customer friendly?

The staffs offer a free breakfast and portable fans.

Although it might be the best they can do, I expect the room to function as it should more than compensation.

I liked the room layout and the beds were comfortable. The hotel also provided a baby crib upon request and it was of high quality. The main issue with the property was that it was very busy with many flight crews using it as their layover hotel (it is actually the Days Inn as well). The volume of people was not an issue except that two of the three elevators on the Howard Johnson side were broken for the majority of the stay. One was out of order upon arrival, the other broke the second day due to heavy rain (which is concerning). This led to lots of waiting and over-crowded elevators. Also, signs for the pool and workout area were said to be closed due to COVID-19 but I looked into the hallway area and the ceiling was falling down so it seemed like a bigger issue than COVID.

The shower gown was unwashed and had makeup marks. Two of the three elevators were down so all the customers had to use one elevator which caused significant wait time. They go eco-friendly so do not provide any amenities except for one soap. They could provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in dispensers as other eco-friendly hotels do. Despite the downsides, the hotel is nicely located: close to a movie theater, many restaurants, cafes, and stores are around, close to the airport.

Great location for those flying out of Incheon airport. AREX rail line is right across the street, costs less than $1USD to Terminal 1, and takes less than 10 minutes. Hotel is far enough away from runways that you hear no noise.

Also like that it's right in the middle of a small commercial district with close to 50 restaurants. Very convenient to walk to everything.

The hotel was very convenient to Incheon Airport, which was why we chose it. The staff was helpful and our room was clean. However, there seemed to be no soundproofing between rooms. In addition, the room was much too hot for us (it was winter), and lowering the thermostat temperature had no effect.

Dried urine on a toilet seat.

Please stay away from this property.
I stayed here a couple years ago before Covid. It was good back then.
This time, it was horrified. I found a drop of dried urine on a toilet seat. I immediately called the front desk and they apologized and exchanged the room. Second room looked clean but I found a hair on the soap dish and a bunch of unknown sand under my comforter. I didn't feel like moving again so I just stayed. However, I'm really questioning their cleaning process during this pandemic. If I can spot a hair and urine, do you really think they thoroughly clean the room and sanitize it before other guests?
Also, due to the effort for saving the environment and reducing the use of plastics, they only give you one soap. No shampoo, no body wash, body lotion, whatsoever. Yet, you can still purchase a package which is in a plastic pack.

The room was also excessively hot with no way to turn it off. We opened the window to -5C just to not sweat. When we woke up, the room was still 22C.

The room was nice, modern, tidy and clean. However, reception staffs looked a bit inexperienced. There were two and I think there should’ve been one who’s experienced to coach the new ones. Also, lowering the room price to make it look like they are the cheapest and then later charging for the amenity made me feel cheated. They could’ve just added that to the room cost.

I don't quite understand how not providing customers amenities prevent covid-19 from spreading but, if you want, you can buy them at the front desk. Location is pretty convenient. Due to COVID there were some services that were not available, such as the shuttle bus. However we did not find it to be such a big problem as the subway is just in front and even to go and look around it was well connected. On the first and second floor there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops and a few shops, which made it comfortable to eat.
The room was clean and comfortable. Cleaning lady was nice and the hotel service was generally nice and polite.
We could not do laundry (maybe cause it was Sunday and COVID time) but we found a place in the area with washing machine and drier. Generally very reccomended as it is very comfortable also in the location.
