This is an older hotel and can use a tune up. Staff were great. Carpet in our room were soiled. Bathroom shower leaked and as a result the floor was covered with water when we stepped out. Location is good. Easy walking to the old quarter.

Chị Hoa lễ tân rất nhiệt tình, vì có bé nhỏ nên c giúp gia đình mình có phòng luôn dù mình check in sớm. C cũng tư vấn đặt chỗ trên bar xem máy bay tổng duyệt. Các bạn nhân viên trên bar rất tuyệt vời và nhiệt tình. Khung cảnh thì đẹp khỏi bàn rồi. Bathtub có chút vấn đề vì nước chỉ chảy qua vòi hoa sen chứ không từ vòi của bathtub.

Had an amazing time in Hanoi and room was spacious and clean. Receptionist Tony was also very attentive and showed us lots of hospitality. I'll highly recommend anyone looking for a convenient spot to stay in Old Quarters to try out Imperial Hotel & Spa.

We stayed at this hotel for one night after our Halong Bay cruise, and it was a fantastic experience. The room was beautifully designed, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake, which made our stay even more special.
The spa and gym facilities were excellent, providing a relaxing and enjoyable way to unwind after our trip. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar, which had a great atmosphere—perfect for evening cocktails and even a lovely spot for an afternoon lunch.
The only small downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the Old Quarter, but if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with great amenities, this is a wonderful choice.
Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

The fixtures were old and unlike any other five star hotel, it charged me for extra bottle of water beyond 1 litre per day. The bathroom fixtures need to be re looked and food options as well

The hotel overall is not bad however my room was not clean it look unkept. The carpet was dirty and the walls and feeling was dirty as well . The room smell like mold. We cancelled the next reservation we had for another day and change hotels

I stayed at this hotel twice this year, first tine experience was good second time I wasn’t happy. There were some black hair on my bathtub when I checked in. Duvet cover had a hole, shower faucet was not attached to the wall property. I also went for a massage with a friend at the hotel and both of us were not happy with the way the massage was done, it wasn’t professional, the day before in old town for half price we got a better quality massage.
I rate this hotel 4 star.

A grand hotel located in a peaceful neighborhood!

A great hotel located away from all the hustle bustle of the old quarter, yet not too far away. It is easily accessible via public transport or if you are adventurous you could walk it passing through great neighborhoods.

You will be find cafe's and a convenience store at a walkable distance.

The Hotel has great amenities such as a fitness room, coffee shop, restaurant, rooftop bar etc..

The hotel somehow is pleasantly lively as you will find visitors walking in throughout the day.

The property has well trained staff always ready to cater and pamper your needs, they are polite and friendly!

The property over looks the lake and the city on the other side, and choosing a lake view room will make it a delight!

However they do need to match the modern luxuries of a modern hotel in some area's such as the switch plates, electricity buttons & room amenities, not that is its bad or inconvenient but does give you a feeling of the early 2000's!

Overall staying at this property was comfortable, relaxing and affordable!

My family (my brother and grandpa) went and stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and the room key didn’t work ever single time.. so my brother has to go down to the lobby and get his room key activated every time he left the room. The front desk is being kind and polite but the inconvenience that caused is not acceptable.
Secondly the hot water was doing fine for the first night of their stay, but then the following nights the shower water went from hot to lukewarm to almost just body temperature.. this is not tolerable as the weather is cold out there and all they want is a relaxing shower. Again my brother reported to the front desk and they sent in maintenance team to fix it but still nothing solves.
Last but not least, the hot water kettle the hotel provided got short circuited and jumped off a few times when my grandfather is trying to make hot water, and it’s so bad and the kettle finally quit and the room is full of smelly smoke. And the hotel people provided another kettle but the outlet already went off.... and it’s actually very terrifying to use the kettle in the room again .
Anyways, this is a very disappointing experience. I’ve been looking for a reliable and good environment for my family to stay and all they get are dramas after dramas.

This was probably the best hotel I've stayed in in Asia. Everything was easy and the staff were all excellent. I must single out Tran Hue who was so helpful and informative. The gym and pool were good, the food was excellent, the suite was quiet and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable.

Moldy, moldy, moldy smelling! The room smelled of mold and my lungs were scratchy within a few minutes of entering. We tried three more rooms. The last was on a different floor but still had that smell, albeit much milder and less irritating. We checked out and went someplace else. If you are sensitive to mold or have asthma, this is not the place for you.

Manager did try to resolve it and was very attentive but we decided not to stay.

Lovely property and great stay in a club room. We had to book last minute as our cruise in Hanong bay being cancelled due to a typhoon, got a good rate for the club rooms. The service in the club lounge was excellent.

Foods are well prepared with fresh airs inside the room but airflow from aircon is not good. The direction should be considered again. Warm welcome from hotel is good but reservation history is not well managed. I have to explain everything whenever I call to reception desk. Indoor swimming pool is too small. It is different from the picture on web site.
