I loved my stay at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. I found it to be within a 30 minute walk of the major sites on West Lake near the parliament building. The side streets were also full of amazing food stalls, cool vintage stores and other shopping options which was great. The staff were all amazing and full of suggestions on things to do. And, the travel desk was amazing at setting up some day tours around the city and nearby, including private transportation, which made getting around easy. Would recommend if you’re staying in Hanoi!

20 minutes from No Bai Airport. In a nice district with easy access to sightseeing. A long walk of you are up to it otherwise a 10 to 20 minute drive to central attractions.

Although slightly out of the city, it was a pleasant relief to be away from the noise and craziness of the bustling Hanoi streets.
The hotel provided a comfortable haven and the staff were amazingly accommodating, so pleasant and couldnt do enough for us. The benefits of the Club Lounge were so worth it and made our whole stay so much more special.
And we cannot thank a member of the Club Lounge staff enough for her help in locating some lost property.......truly amazing service, going above and beyond.

My American son and Vietnamese DIL got married here. Highest quality, service, comfort and elegance! The garden area and ballroom for the wedding ceremony and dinner were beautiful. The rooms were spacious and luxurious.

The room and toilet are spacious and clean. Perhaps a tad clinical in appearance, which maybe good for the business traveller but not for the leisure seeker. The hotel grounds are a welcome respite from the chaos, dirty and din of its surroundings.

Horrible security and needs to be addressed now!!!

HUGE security breach!! On two occasions someone opened my door, if I didn’t have have the side lock on, they would’ve walked right in! I did not feel safe and couldn’t sleep at all for the whole night. Security was one of the reasons why I picked this hotel, but I didn’t feel safe for this trip and this needs to be addressed immediately. If there aren’t any improvements I would not come back again.

Right after I checked-in, the room makes BEEEEEP sounds. Hotel engineers came to fix and the noise stopped. but it happened again. So, I changed the room.

The hotel certainly needs some refurbishment but overall Sheraton Hanoi remains a great deal. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and all amenities, with a special mention for the bathrobe. Great view, great location.I was upgraded to the club floor without access to the club lounge, which I found a little stingy. I did appreciate the gesture though. Staff were very attentive too.

I have stayed in the Sheraton many times, 1st time that I was not too happy. Yes I had an excellent room on the Club Floor but with the AC not working decently I did not feel very comfortable. Even though the AC was turned down to 16 degrees the room hardly cooled down. Service in the Club Lounge must be improved. The waiters/waitresses should be on high alert all the time, especially as there are not too many guests for breakfast.

The building is outdated and the rooms are tired and old. I wouldn't rate this as a 4 or star accommodation given the conditions of the hotel. The food (in room dining or restaurant) is way over priced. We've stated at 5 star facilities in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh and by comparison the pricing of food is far too expensive for the value received. As a starwood preferred guest I certainly would not rate this to standards compared to other Starwood hotels (Sheraton, Le Meridian, W hotel etc) which I've stayed.

The hotel is fine for business but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise as there is not a great deal to do when not working. Room Internet was expensive and not good. Lots of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful which was very pleasant.

Nice hotel and staff was a positive. Location of the pool was difficult to get to and poolside bar does not open until 5.00pm. Visited the pool bar on return from a night in town and found it to be less than friendly and a little sleezy which surprised us that this would be allowed under the Sheraton name.

Have stayed several times in Hanoi, also stayed in many hotels in the Hanoi area but Sheraton beats them all. Yes, a older hotel, but location is good, staff friendly and good dining facilities. Nice pool area should you come to Hanoi for leisure purposes.

A very pleasant surprise. Wonderful service at every level of the hotel. Especially excellent customer service at the front desk and the pool! My only comment is that the dining room is very noisy (but it was a holiday, so there were many families with young children). It was a great stay. Thank you.

Comfortable accommodation with friendly staff

I have no complaints about the hotel. As others have mentioned, it is a very far walk from the Old Quarter, but within a ten minute cab ride (around VND 80k or $3). Just outside the hotel gate is an excellent local restaurant to the left, and a great french patisserie to the right. Not too far away is a grocery store where you can find cheap beer and snacks.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, or to anyone else wanting a luxurious stay in Hanoi.

My husband and I couldn't fault anything about the Sheraton, you get everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel and more. Fantastic breakfast buffet and those little extras that make you feel special. Even though the hotel is about 10 minutes taxi from the Old Quarter of Hanoi there was still other dining options close by. Lovely walks around the lake and a great atmosphere. Loved it.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. The service was good, we were pleasantly surprised when we were given a room upgrade even though we did not ask for it. The breakfast spread was lovely n of such a variety that we were spoilt for choice. We also liked the spa services at Lily Centre - very reasonably priced. The room - a grand deluxe was spacious, clean n comfortable -very nice indeed.
The only drawback wax the distance from the Old Quarter but it is only a 10 min drive from the hotel at abt 80,000 VND or 4USD but we didn't mind as traveling is pretty convenient. There's always a fleet of taxis waiting at the hotel compound. In summary, we would certainly stay at the Sheraton in Hanoi again.

The hotel wasn't local and caused difficulties for hotel pick ups for the tours that we picked. We upgraded to have cocktails and snacks on the 17th floor and was not value for money .We arrived late once returning from a tour and just missed the cocktail period, the staff would just not give us a cocktail and suggested we use room service.

I am a member of the SPG program and was expecting the same service and quality as it is normally provided by Sheraton.

During the Check-in process we was asked if we would like to upgrade (I forgot how much it costs exactly but I guess it was something around USD 50). Drop the bags at our room and go for dinner at the hotel restaurant. We was asked if we would like to eat buffet (approximate USD 50 p.p.) or a la carte. BTW: the food was not pretty good, at least the lemon chicken which I had. Back in our room we try to login to our \"free\" Wifi (booking via Hotels.com), we saw a welcome screen which ask us to pay over VND 300k for 24 hours. Too tired to complain about it.

I feel like that Sheraton Hanoi isn't worth another stay and its a pity that I have an existing booking for Thursday to Saturday. For sure if we go back to Hanoi we will not stay at the Sheraton again.

I previously stayed in several five star hotels in different countries in Asia and I can say that Sheraton hotel in Hanoi is by far the best.

Room was super clean, furniture in excellent shape, beautiful garden behind hotel, hotel staff very helpful and always smiling, breakfast buffet amazing.

I highly recommend this hotel to anybody. Staying in hotel was very pleasant experience.

A peaceful oasis!

The Sheraton in Hanoi is an oasis in a bustling city! A short taxi ride to the old quarter and central city sites...but removed enough to truly relax. Attentive and friendly staff, beautiful spacious lobby and common rooms, well appointed fitness center, reasonable spa prices, extensive breakfast buffet and spacious well appointed rooms.
