Our room was spotless and done everyday. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained. All of the staff was amazing. The breakfast in the restaurant was one of the best we’ve ever had and we appreciated being able to have guests (our kids) join us. The restaurant staff - from servers to the chef’s all did a great job. I wish I had individual names to give. And the reception staff - Giang, Nam, Dat, and the others were always friendly and helpful. Next time we
Come to Hanoi (to visit our kids) we will definitely choose Elegant Suites Westland.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for a family of 4,but when we got there we were charged extra for the kids which did not make sense to me because we did not exceed the number of the room capacity. No proper explanation was given,we only paid because it was late kids were tired we just wanted to check in and rest.

I have stayed at Elegant Suites for many years now and if anything it continues to improve. The facilities including restaurant, gym, swimming pool and spa are uniformly excellent. The gardens are beautiful and Jenny and all of the staff cannot do enough to assist with any query or request. Obviously there is a lot of construction work presently underway in the local area but Elegant Suites is an Oasis from all all of that and once inside the complex you would hardly know. I would not stay anywhere else in Hanoi and unreservedly recommend. James Collins

Gorgeous and spacious room! If you’re looking for a long stay, it has a kitchen, two full bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, washer, balcony! Wow. The breakfast was Amazing as well. Highly recommend if you’re coming to Hanoi and don’t want to stay in the city, close enough to get a grab taxi and super affordable.

Even though the hotel knew that a planned very noisy renovation was in progress our room was booked without any mention whatsoever of this. Our few days were totally ruined and having the staff just say sorry and not really do anything about it was eventually infuriating.
Another complaint is that we had paid extra for a \"garden view\" but found we were on the wrong side of the hotel and were in fact next to a huge and active building site.
The drilling and hammering in the hotel was nothing to do with this. An added extra though!
On arrival in our room we were annoyed to hear loud drilling and hammering. There was no possibility of relaxing or sleeping.
We immediately asked to move and were promptly moved to another room which seemed quiet, but we later realized that was because the works had finished for the day.
I made the point that this hotel was chosen in the hope that it would be a quiet place for my husband to relax and sleep during the day as he had been travelling for four days. Long flights with attendant checking in, baggage etc etc. Across time zones from GMT -4 to GMT +7 with only a few hours break. Obviously exhausting.

The next morning we were woken with loud drilling and banging which persisted during the day, no chance of sleep so we went out.
Having only booked in for two complete days of peace it was very awkward to find another hotel with basically no notice.

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff and facilities.
Although this hotel is about 2km from the old quarter don’t let this put you off! Download the grab app and use taxis. We moved here after a very bad experience with a hotel in the old quarter and we are so pleased we did.
From the size of the room to the amazing staff ( and breakfast Choices) you won’t be disappointed staying here.
By Westlake, there are wonderful restaurants, views and beauty spas walking distance from the hotel.
Particular praise to the reception staff and Truc Quynh in the restaurant who made us feel like VIPS.

We used the gym and the pool and ate at the breakfast buffet. Our three bedroom apartment was on the 8th floor, overlooking the beautiful full size pool and landscaping, with views of the lake in the distance. We made a pot of tea and sat on the balcony most mornings. It was just lovely. The dining table was full size with seating for six. We had plenty of room to play board games. There is a TV in the living room, but not in the bedrooms.

The location is great, although there is massive construction going on across the street. We did not hear any construction noise in the apartment.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Elegant Suites Westlake for three days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, check-in was a breeze, with the staff warmly welcoming us and ensuring everything was seamless.

The room was impeccable—beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly spacious. The bathroom was equally impressive, offering ample space and modern amenities. But the highlight of our stay was the magnificent bed—so plush and comfortable that it felt like sleeping on a cloud. After long days of exploring Hanoi, coming back to such a cozy and inviting space truly felt like home.

Our 2 night‘s stay of January 31, 2025 and February 2, 2025 was most enjoyable. It was the warm reception of the guest Relations receptionist, Mr. Thanh that really made the 4 of us feel so very welcomed that made the hotel most inviting. It was truly a five star welcoming which we were all very impressed about through his thorough communications and professionalism as he walked us through the hotel and room briefings. He was also very committed to making our stay a 5 star experience which he succeeded in doing.
The hotel gym was of the best I’ve had workouts at in a hotel.
We would also like to recognize Jeny Tran’s work and follow through in the arranging of our airport, transportation, and transportation to Ha Long Bay. The communications and follow through were beyond expectations.

I always enjoy my time at Elegant Suites Westlake. It is conveniently located. It is not too far from the old quarter and it is easy to get to the airport. It is far enough from the main roads that it is peaceful and much quieter than anywhere else l've stayed in the city. I enjoy the pool, gym and spa. They are never too busy so you can go at your convenience. The breakfast buffet is consistent every day with a few rotations that keep it fresh. There are good views across the lake or of the city, depending on which room you have. The staff has always been very helpful and attentive.

Khu vui chơi trẻ em dù trong nhà nhưng mùa đông lạnh không có máy sưởi ấm nên không chơi được.

This was our (my lady and I) third time staying at Westlake within one year. We stayed 10 nights. As in the past, our stay was pleasant and peaceful. We stayed in a deluxe studio room. The size of the room was adequate. The room was clean and comfortable. No bad smells. The pool and gym are awesome. We used both multiple times…nearly everyday. The pool is huge. There’s a wading pool next to the big pool. Towels and showers are available. Folks are asked to rinse off before entering the pool, which is sensible and a courtesy to others. The gym is spacious and can accommodate 20 or so bodies at a time. It has a/c and portable fans to help keep the temperature down. Water is available as are towels. A billiards table is available, but beware. A couple of the pockets aren’t firmly in place and tend to fall when balls go in them. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There were plenty of choices. Fruits and vegetables were fresh. Food was good or better. All staff were helpful, polite and professional. There were ample eating establishments within a few minutes by foot. In many of them, we had dinner for less than $10 for both of us. We will definitely consider staying at Westlake again.

Generally all went well. Two things I would like to highlight. One is that we were guaranteed late check out at 2pm and this was further confirmed at check in. However on the last day we got a call from reception at 1pm that we had to check out and there was no late check out. We were pressed to check out despite I highlighting to them. We therefore had to rush and checkout. But eventually the staff apologised when the error was realised. The second point concerns the chairs in the restaurant where breakfast was served. Could the hotel look into have guards on the foot of the chairs as they are so noisy when you move them. Very irritating, indeed.

If you are staying in Hanoi for a week or more and need yet you don’t want to stay in the city centre, but close to it, then this apartment, complete with washing machine and dryer and a fitted kitchen then this apartment and location is perfect.
We only stayed one night before heading to the airport to fly home, but what a lovely apartment.
Everyone was so nice and helpful and location was superb, the pub and restaurant was directly opposite!

I would stay there again and it comes highly recommended...

I loved this property , it was in a lovely quiet area but near enough to visit all the sites. The room was very spacious with 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and a shower room. The place is Elegant in name and surroundings. The only disappointment was our last evening as we had told reception that we wanted to dine in the restaurant for our 'Farewell Dinner:'. As we had checked out and arranged suitcase storage because our flight was at 1.35 AM .We had a lovely last meal in the restaurant and it was of the highest standard. I would return if coming to Hanoi again t I found the staff gracious & helpful

What I liked about this property was that my husband had left his phone on the car that transferred us from a previous location to this one- they were able to track it down and return it. The pool was good, and it had a pool table and kids area. My son fell down the stairs going to the pool.
The breakfast was good a wide variety of foods to choose from.
The location is outside if the old quarter so had to cab it in and out a few times and was sometimes annoying.
The room was ok - the bath/ shower design is not s good one as every time you gave a shower most of the water lands on the bathroom floor. So using all your towels to clean it up.
Washing machine was very handy

What an absolutely wonderful stay!! The property is a tranquil oasis in the exciting Tay Ho section of Hanoi! Our room was cozy, comfortable and great AC to cool you from a hot day...and a massive tub! The staff are the true gems of this hotel...from the doormen, front desk, restaurant to housekeeping...all our friendly and helpful at all times. The front desk were a delight to talk to daily and they were sweet with our two little dogs. The breakfast team in the restaurant made each start of the day a great one and they even remembered how we each preferred our coffee. We were truly sad to have to checkout and say goodbye to our Elegant Suites family...anyone looking for a home away from home would be wise in choosing this property! Room on 8th floor was very nice. But description details and pictures are not correct. No fireplace, DVD, jacuzzi and desk were in our two bedroom unit. 10 score for front desk staff. Had issues with my second reservation after returning two days later.

Issues with our room the second time.

We stayed two days on two separate reservations within three days. The unit on this reservation gave us room 601. The TV screen was damaged and looked like 9 flash lights distorting the image. The master bathroom had no curtains and the counter sink water outlet was loose. Things to note on the overall location is there are no fireplace, DVD or jacuzzi tub or desk. On a positive side the rooms and faculty was very clean. The front desk staff was very nice and courtious.
