I booked triple room and I am happy with the size of the room and beds.
However, the food in the hotel is not good. It’s also pricy. It took us some time to find the room because the room number is not listed anywhere so we had to ask the person who work in the hotel. There are no restaurants around that area, which disappointed us, when I booked it from Hotel.com, it says 4 mins walking to the beach, I imagined there would be tourists and restaurants around the area.

We went into the bar to have a drink before our meal:

1. We had to look for the bartender and when we did find him, he told us to wait.

2. We asked for a bowl of snacks that are obviously handed out and the bar tender told us he would serve them later. What?

3. Waiters were very rude in the restaurants and rushed us along when all we wanted was to have a nice relaxing meal.

4. Room was very clean and the staff at check in were very nice, polite and helpful.

Overall experience was great. Staff was friendly, professional and all around great.
Lots of outdoor areas to hangout and spend time outside.
Pool area was nice. Minibar was stocked with good options and the prices are not bad comparing to other hotels I've stayed. It was almost cheaper to drink from the minibar vs. The actual hotel bar. Pool area was nice but maybe in the busy season it could get growded.
Each room has Echo device with Alexa, so you can play music or get other information easily.
The room i stayed was clean and good but some things were little outdated and rundown, some USB charging ports by the bed was not working, the thermostat screen and buttons were damaged but i was still able to turn down the temperature, i just couldn't see the actual temperature reading.
But because the staff was so great and my stay was great, these things did not bother me.
TV channels are all in italian, or at least the 100+ channels i scrolled thru, so if you like watching TV during your stay and don't understand the language, i recommend to bring your own movies or tv shows.

I would stay here again.

We’ve been traveling through Italy for three weeks and have stayed in several hotels, but unfortunately this was the only one that left us feeling disappointed. The hotel is run down and in need of major updates. The pillows smelled bad and were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Most of the staff were not friendly or welcoming, with the exception of the bellboy who was helpful and courteous. The onsite restaurant was also a letdown — overpriced and poor quality compared to the many wonderful dining options available elsewhere in Catania. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations and we would not recommend this hotel.

We liked our stay, however, the bathroom had only scolding hot water. They fixed it the next day but it was lukewarm. The bathroom was also missing a door. The breakfast was GREAT! Champagne included in the buffet and the food was wonderful. I would go again.

We sat at the pool and the music was so lound that we could not speak and we were just the two of us. The hotel itself really needs an upgrade. The property is nice and well maintained but the room not so much. The fire alarm in room 107 was constantly flashing every minute or so during the night...we did not appreciate. The staff was very nice and respectfull.

It is definitely not a 5 star hotel. It’s not even a 3 star hotel. The hotel has water leaks all over. The controls for the air conditioning/heater do not work. Very unprofessional service desk at check in. The restaurant was the only positive point in the hotel. Both, service and food were great at the restaurant.

Fine for one night

We only stayed one night at the last day of Italy’s high season so only a few rooms seemed to be busy. Although staff/concierge was very friendly, we didn’t see many others around the hotel, which is in desperate need of an overall update as everywhere looks tired and dated. There is no air conditioning in the rooms (even though an old system seem to be in place for guests to control from their own room, the concierge said there wasn’t air conditioning in any rooms which we thought was very strange - so either the hotel was trying to save on bills or didn’t want to address or rectify an obvious problem) so we were lucky that the temperature wasn’t too hot or it would have been very uncomfortable to sleep.

The hotel is in a nice area right across from a clean, warm beach, and close to the airport as well.The property is quite nice. What we did not like is that the rooms were hot when we arrived, (they knew that we were there as 4 of us attempted to check in earlier but only 2 of the rooms were ready, which was fine as we were a couple of hours early). With that being said, the AC was certainly in need of an upgrade as it blows only slightly cool air. The refrigerator did not work, even after maintenance, it was still very warm and unsuitable to keep even a bottle of water. There was only ONE 2 prong outlet in the room that I was able to charge my phone with...behind a cabinet that held the TV and fridge,had to be pushed away from the wall to access it. There were NO outlets on either side of the bed for travelers that use a converter. This is is a 'luxury' hotel, near the airport, which means there are many travelers from all over, so why hasn't all this been upgraded? The man at the front desk was professional and helpful, I could tell that he agreed about the room needing upgrading in these areas as he certainly seemed apologetic. The restaurant is a bit pricey for what you get, and they charge 4EU pp 'coperto' fee, for dishes, utensils, glasses,etc. At the start, we told waiter we'd need 4 separate checks. At the end of dinner, this was quite a difficult thing to achieve. Had to go to the front desk and tell them each and every item, took over 1/2 hour. Upgrades needed!

We decided to stay at this \"five-star luxury hotel\" before our AM flight. Arrived early, lunch at pool restaurant - nice pizza dish with very good crust. Checked in and changed for the pool. Room was dated (as was rest of hotel decor) and the floor was dirty- not \"5-Star\". Lovely balcony. Air conditioning not working - reported to desk (1st report). Pool nice, pool bar limited, towels only at the front desk (not 5-star!). Air still not working after 3-hour at pool (80F in room!). Sent service request via their Siri (I think) system (2nd). Also asked again at front desk when making hotel dinner reservations (3rd). Front desk said received service request for the air conditioning - had not responded yet. Hotel bar not open until 7PM - only the pool bar across the property available - again not \"5-Star\" convenience. Went to dinner (not good 2-star at best - no olives or lime - in Italy!). Called desk (4th) when air STILL not working after dinner. Waited another hour - called front desk again (5th) then went to front desk (6th) to see what could be done. Finally 2 people checked our room and used a toothpick to rig the air conditioner to work. Stayed 20 hours at \"5-Star\" hotel and only had air conditioning for about 8 of those hours. Never offered apology, a new room, discount, or anything for our inconvenience. Poorly run hotel with tremendous potential if cleaning, restaurant, maintenance, staffing, etc. were upgraded to anything close to 5-Star.

Airport is perfect for early morning flights out of Catania.
Hotel interior is dated. Some aspects of the room were broken—needs some TLC. Having said that, we called the front desk and they sent someone right away.
Dinner was very good. Our waiter Davide was excellent.

This is not a five start hotel. I stayed one night and they had loud club music playing where you could feel the base in the room. At 1 am I went to the front seat to complain about it and they acted like it was out of the ordinary and said that they would speak to the people. On my way back to the room I stop and spoke to another visitor and found out that this had been going on for the last 3 nights. And it continued past 3 am. The next morning I promptly checked out.

We booked a room with 2 double beds and were given a king bed. This resulted in my husband and I sharing a bed with our 13 year old son. I asked to switch rooms and was told they were full and it wasn't possible. I asked for a cot and was simply told no. Later on my husband hurt his back and we asked for some ice which we were told was not possible unless we bought wine from the bar. I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed myself but it has seriously gone downhill. The service was horrible and the staff do not care about guests. If you need to stay in the area stay at the notel next door.

Hotel was quite nice but not 5* quality. We encountered a few issues, including no spare sockets meaning we had to unplug existing things to charge our phones. We also had to switch the fridge off to use the kettle (cups were provided but no spoons). The tv remote had no batteries in it and the toilet roll holder was broken. That said, the entrance to the hotel was very beautiful, the area had nice restaurants nearby, and the pool was decent.

Very outdated, very small showers for even small kids, no space in the shower to accommodate soap or shampoo. AC is a dilema (it may or it may not work as the rooms were last updated around 1980). Connecting rooms? Good luck!, it will be given to guests that logically do not need it and not to parents with small kids). On the positive side, good location (close to city center and close to the Catania airport). The pool also looked nice and well maintained, but did not use it.

The service was good we asked to be moved from the first room since it was not that clean. The front desk rep. did move us no problem.
However he failed to let us know that there is a way to go across the street to the beach with chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant was good and the atmosphere was good.

Nicely design hotel in the park environment, Close to the Catania airport. Lunch was excellent, however grilled octopus for dinner was burned and not edible. When I complained to the restaurant manager I was told that this is
a matter of opinion and I was charged for this non edible meal. My bill indicated free desert which not served. Restaurant manager ruined our good impression about this hotel.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and it had easy parking. The hotel was so much better than I expected. The front desk checked us in early. Massimo was so friendly and could answer all our questions. He have us excellent directions to return our car rental. We never would have found it without his help. The room had a patio which we enjoyed very much. I would highly recommend this hotel. However the restaurant I would not recommend. It was super expensive and the food was not very good.

The hotel was in a good location and easy to find. The breakfast was wonderful, with lots of options and tasty items. This was one of the best breakfasts we had in our 10-day trip to Sicily. I arrived at the hotel late in the evening, around 10.00 pm, and the main gate was closed. There was another gate from which we needed to enter, but there were no signs or enough light to figure out the doorbell. In addition, the reception was in a different direction, but again, there were no signs to lead you to the main entrance. I would suggest they should have proper lighting and signs to lead the guests.

my friends and I, and my family, stayed here in between our many travels throughout Italy for a little respite where we could spend some time at the pool and beach and take a break from all the walking and exploring we had been doing. This place hit the spot! The rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are great, the pool was great with a bar and eating area, and it was a convenient distance across the street to the beach club, which was included in the cost. I truly appreciate the friendliness of the staff there as well! Only thing I would change is the restaurant on site was a little lackluster, but the guy that ran the show was amazing and I definitely think it has potential my future! We definitely stay here again recommend to others.
