There is no auto-lock on the door. While I can lock it from the inside, I can’t lock it when I leave the room. The room’s security box also seems to be broken, as it took me more than 10 minutes to open it.

The second time I have been to this hotel. Unlike last time, the service this time was absolutely the worst.
1) Walls are thin and the hotel is noisy. Also, staff members (maybe cleaning) walk around the hallways since 7:30 in the morning with their walkie-talkies at max volume and speaking loudly.
2) Rooms were not very clean and had a severe issue with ants. Also, I requested the room to be cleaned in the morning (various times) only to come in the afternoon to find the room not cleaned. I couldn't rest in the room in the afternoon since they hadn't cleaned it, causing me to go outside and wait at a coffee shop for hours until it was ready. Usually, the room was only cleaned after 4 or 5 PM.
3) The worst came during check-out when the staff told me that they made a mistake and had forgotten to charge me for a day. I requested the receipt for the payment when I checked in to verify, only to be answered that they couldn't give me and that it would be sent to me later on via e-mail. Since I was in a hurry to go to the airport, I just paid the extra amount. I just arrived home and received both receipts only to find out that they charged me more than they should have.

Mercure SP Bela Vista was a great hotel for those on a budget. They have everything you need, and while there was no microwave in the room, I was able to heat up my food at the downstairs dining. I would compare this hotel to a Marriott Courtyard or Holiday Inn. The gym and sauna amenities were also a plus.

The hotel is nice although situated near a highway it’s a walkable distance to Ave. Paulista. What made this propriety horrible is the staff service. They are not willing to help. I understand that due to Covid there’s limited services However only I lady whom I forgot her name was able to get me ice at 2:01pm when the restaurant closed at 2pm. These little things make a huge difference. When I ordered food they forgot to bring me ice for my beverage and the response of the staff was well we are now closed. It’s not a hotel where they are willing or wanting to help you. If they want to they will. Horrible hospitality. Would not recommend or return to this property.

I stayed here while my wife was resting with our newborn babies at a nearby hospital. The staff was very nice and courteous. The hotel was impeccably clean. Service and cleanliness are very important to me so that's why I rate it a 5. The bed could have been matter. The mattress wasn't all that comfy and there was room for more pillows. If you stay here, make sure breakfast comes included with your room, otherwise it's expensive.

The hotel has very helpful staff and clean facilities. The exercise room and pool are located on the top floor (indoors) and unfortunately fairly small (exercise room contains one treadmill, one bicycle, and one 'total gym' machine; the pool is the length of a lap). The rooms are well kept and comfortable. The location is good if you're looking to be between the downtown markets, Liberdade, and Ibirapuera Park. This hotel is also a very short walk away from a grocery store, several lanchonetes, and shopping/sight seeing on Ave. Paulista.

but the inside it's pretty modern and very very comfortable.....if you get an high floor you can enjoy a nice view and get the most of the amenities of the place.

Poor location. Neighborhood questionable. Right by highway with terrible noise. Lobby updated, rooms very dated. Staff very professional.

We arrived in the evening, and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are modern and clean, and appear to have been updated recently. The room was larger than we thought, and we were surprised to see that it had a countertop stove (though we didn't use it). The staff spoke English but also was willing to indulge our broken Portuguese very politely. It was a great experience over all.

Room was nicer than anticipated & little kitchen area was good. Hotel location is not so great so I don't recommend walking around the area. There is a decent grocery store at the end of the block but going beyond this was a little uncomfortable for us (women). No one bothered us but there are several homeless people close by. The bed mattress wasn't very good as we could feel the springs.

Ao chegar no restaurante às 09h30 já não havia mais reposição. Sem itens básicos como pão de sal, suco, pão de queijo, bolo etc. Bem frustrante para um hotel do nível Mércure.

O quarto que ficamos foi ótimo. Andar alto, silencioso. Ar condicionado novo. Local de home office dentro do quarto espaçoso. Meu grupo ficou em dois quartos separados. No quarto dos meus filhos faltou só o tapetinho para saída do banho. Quartos com frigobar, microondas e duas bocas de fogão elétrico, não utilizamos, mas se precisasse estava disponível. Arrumação dos quartos muito boa. Shampoo, condicionador e sabonete para as mãos disponível para os hóspedes. A única coisa que a gente achou estranha foi o barulho de sirene de ambulância que fazia toda vez que a gente dava descarga no banheiro. Fora isso, estadia perfeita. Piscina quentinha, espaço de relaxamento e diversão para a família. Gostei muito e voltaria com certeza. Mas fazendo a reserva pelo hotels.com não ganha os pontos no club Accor de estadías. O que mais me decepcionou foi o preço do café da manhã. O fato de não estar incluído na reserva me chateou bastante pois lembro de ter adquirido a reserva com café da manhã. Mas depois o hotéis.com simplesmente retirou do pacote.

Pós: Hotel muito bonito, um dos mais bonitos que já fiquei. Recepção atenciosa. Cama e travesseiro confortáveis. Ar condicionado funcionando perfeitamente. Piscina climatizada. Itens de higiene pessoal de ótima qualidade. Contras: a limpeza do banheiro deixou a desejar, o sistema de esgoto do banheiro estava entupido pois tanto na pia quanto no box a água inundou. Por duas vezes bateram na nossa porta por volta das 9h da manhã para inspecionar frigobar e banheiro, achei estranho por conta do horário e por fazerem isso enquanto tem hóspedes no quarto.
