The room itself was clean but also not visibly clean. Bedding and towels were clean, which is super important; saw dirty walls in the washroom, on the window drapes, and noticed that the shower stall had some nooks and crannies that they could have paid a little more attention to. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly; always greeting us when we leave and return for the day. We didn’t check out the amenities this time but, there’s also a little musky smell in the hallway and the carpeting, wall papers, and overall feels were quite dated as well. The stay itself was extremely uncomfortable: the room’s mini fridge was very loud once it turned on, early morning knocking in the doors asking about mini bar items (forgot to stick the do not disturb sign out the door), next thing we heard the first morning of was someone’s walkie going off so loud, ontop of the door slamming by other guests nearby on our floor. The positive: location was superb: right by Brigadeiro Station, one block away from Avenida Paulista, great restaurants (chains and mom and pop restaurants) walking distance, as well as museums and other cultural centers as well. I’m not sure if we will be back at this hotel, as the price we paid was definitely not worth the stay.

The hotel is located a block away from the busy Paulista Avenue which actually is good because traffic is less busy and it is quieter in the evening. Check in is a breeze as they offer an online advance check in. Staff are very welcoming and hospitable and most of them speak English which is a good help knowing that Portoguese is the most spoken language in Brazil. The hotel has an in house restaurant which serves good lunch and dinner. If you opted for a free breakfast, their breakfast is excellent. This hotel is a member of the Accor chains of hotels and so they maintain a good standard. Amenities are basic. 2 big towels, two medium and a floor towel. Shampoo and conditioner are in a refillable containers attached to the wall. They provide 3 small bar soaps and a shower cap. The wifi and hot shower all works excellent. Bed is comfortable and they offered me extra pillows since I found their pillows to be small and thin. They have a safe for your valuables. TV has limited English channels. The best thing about this hotel is its location if you want to explore Paulista Avenue. For that, I will surely choose this hotel again. .

It was Ok.

The building could use some upgrading as the structure seems to be quite \"tired\" . The fridge in the bedroom is noisy and I had to unplug it at night to avoid being awaken by the motor starting. Also the doors and/or walls are not soundproof so you can easily hear staff or people in the hallway when they are chatting, laughing or else.

A decent choice

Check in and check out are a bit slow. The lobby is nice and feels very safe. Hotel staff is friendly, most only speak Portuguese but that’s understandable. Breakfast is tasty with good local cuisine and also ‘basics’ like eggs and bacon. Coffee is tasty. Rooms are outdated and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. The sheets in my room had holes in them and a stain. The towels in the bathroom are rough. Several times the water flow would stop or go cold while I was showering. The AC doesn’t work well. The gym is small but gets the job done, and they offer water and apples. A huge plus. Overall, a decent choice in São Paolo that could use some updating.

Excelent location nice staff

Since Our flight was arriving after midnight, I emailed the hotel directly so they hold my reservation. They diligently did so and responded prety quickly.
Once checked in when we first entered the room it smelled heavily of cigarette, so we asked to be moved. The night manager said it was the last twin room and that only a double beded room was available, we accepted it but he finally decided to upgrade us to a room with balcony that had twin beds.
Other than that little misshap, the place was clean, amenities good, breakfast pretty complete and yummy (not a lot of local food or fruits tho) and most of all the staff wss super nice. Location wise its super centric being right around Av Paulista and you have lots of shops nearby.

Very considerate staff accommodated a late check in plus the addition of a second person in the room when travel plans fell through. Fabulous big bed and good breakfast at reasonable cost. I chose this hotel for a quick one night stay while in transit primarily as it was close to the airport bus stop at Maksoud plaza, but would be fine staying here again. Realized I got a steal when the posted rate was more than three times what I paid on Hotels.com. Nice!
