Worst hotel and fraudulent people

I had a reservation for 2 nights for a Deluxe Room. First, they tricked us and gave us a standard room. When we spoke with them the hotel denied it. We then showed them the advertised photos and then they gave another room (which was the only room they had). This room had a bad and pungent odour in the bathroom and the fittings were rusty and unhygienic. The white goods and furniture in the pictures is misleading, with the real ones been very outdated. We couldn’t stay for the second night after this horrible experience. I highly suggest not to book this hotel and there are many others in the same area with more competitive prices

The hotel was accessible, by Old Quarter. All staff are amazing. The front desk receptionist, Jasmine was helpful and explain our check in details and offered airport transfers. Ana was also helpful when I asked questions from Expedia. Huang brought our luggages in our room and they also transfer our luggages the next day when we move to different room. Breakfast was buffet and made to order, everything was good. Leo helped us bring the luggages to the car when we left the hotel.

The staff at Hanoi Chic Boutique were absolutely lovely and the best part of the stay. They’re kind and welcoming and very helpful as well, they were happy to arrange airport transportation, tours and stored my bag while I was in Halong Bay. The room was simple but comfortable with everything needed, same with the breakfast. Overall a really lovely hotel and I would gladly stay there again.

2 Night Stay in Hanoi

This hotel is in the perfect location. We were so close to many of the things we wanted. Restaurants, bars, the night market, and Hoan Kiem lake were all within a short walking distance. The staff here were truly some the nicest people we met in Vietnam. They are genuinely there to make sure you have a great time on your trip and do not hesitate to take all the recommendations that Anna gives you! She's the best :) They will also book your transportation from the airport which is great.

Great location, within old quarters. Room was nice, tv, aircon, comfy beds, hot shower, kettle, basically everything you'll need.

All the staffs and recep were very helpful. They recommended restaurants, and tours, at a reasonable cost. Tracy waited until 3am when we arrived the hotel and helped us w whatever we needed.

We loved our stay at Hanoi Chic Boutique. We were delighted on arrival to find that our room had been upgraded to a large family room with a balcony facing the street. The room was great. Even though we arrived late at night we were able to order food to the room which was very handy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only slight complaint we have is that the breakfast was not the best. There were a few items on a menu that you could order to be freshly made and then a table with fruit and other cooked items to help yourself to. I ordered the pancakes with chocolate and banana and it came as one tiny pancake with a small dash of chocolate and about 6 banana slices - definitley not enough to fill me up! One day there was pumpkin soup out but there were no labels on the hot food and no spoon to serve it. The juice was also very watery and not nearly as nice as the lovely fresh fruit that was available to choose from. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Chic Boutique and particularly liked its location within the old quarter.

The hotel staff was wonderful and helpful. The location was perfect to discover the nightlife, street good and night market. As a recomendation, they must leave the A/C on in the rooms to get a better sleep. The hot outside is oustanding.

EXCELLENT HOTEL IN CENTER OF OLD QUARTER

Initial problem with my booking....there was no room for me despite a guaranteed PAID reservation through Hotel.com. They arranged for me to spend my first night in a sister hotel in the same area, then i was able to transfer back to the Hanoi Chic Boutique Hotel the next day to rejoin my 7 other friends who were staying there. Amazing staff esp. Ruby, Phinny, Ryan and Giang. They made our stay memorable. Location is excellent! Breakfast was very good!! Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed many times at this hotel, nice little area in Old Town, good bars around plus good places for breakfast. Hotel is clean comfortable , air con, wifi all work, tea and coffee in room.. staff very helpful and considerate.....like this place allot and will return .

Ok hotel for short stays

it's a decent hotel for a short stay. requested for a twin bed but got a double bed instead, was told no other rooms were available for booking, luckily the staff was good enough to squeeze in an extra bed at no additional cost for me. However, the toilet drainage system is terrible. When showing, it will flood the entire shower area and water drains very slowly. But when you leave it for awhile, the water level will decrease. Bed is comfortable too.

Hotel fine, bad transfer experience

Only stayed for literally 8 hours due to a flight delay. Hotel warned us about taxi scams from airport so we booked a transfer with them in an attempt to avoid stress. Hotel sent us specific instructions for the sign that the driver would be holding. When we came out of customs there was a driver holding a sign with my name on only written in red felt tip pen and a different hotel name folded down on the paper that the driver didn't want to show us (hotel had told us the sign would have the name of the hotel on and all other drivers had typed signs). Spent lots of money calling the hotel to check that this was the driver, who thought a different one had been sent. Taxi driver got very frustrated at the situation as we were instructed by the hotel not to get in the car. After about 15mins waiting for the hotel to call us back to confirm that this was actually the correct driver, we spent a bit of a hair raising journey to the hotel as the driver tried to make up the time that had been lost. In defence of the hotel reception, they called their manager the next day to discuss what had happened. Unfortunately the manager wasn't sympathetic and only knocked a third off the price of the taxi. Room itself was fine but very basic and hotel was within walking distance to the night market but after such a stressful journey there that the hotel should have taken more responsibility for, I would not stay again.

Nice hotel in horrible city

Decent small hotel in old quarter Hanoi.....but what a noise/chaos. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Hanoi is a disaster... you cant walk, cross the street because of crazy motorbikes everywhere. We litterally ran away to Ninh Bin(Tam coc) where we found one of the greatest places on earth

Have a pleasant stay at chic boutique Hanoi. Room is very comfortable and clean, just that there are some ants in the cups when we checked in, the rest is okay. The hotel location is very strategic as it is located at the center of old quarter, near to everywhere and there is a lot of coffee shops and food stalls along the street. They provide nice breakfast too. The staff there are very attentive and helpful. Had some problem with the room arrangement but the staff there helped us to sort it out. Overall it is great value for money.

:there were many ants near bath( but they never came out of the toilet so it was okay in the room)

I recommend this hotel to stay, close to everything and quite. Staffs are really friendly and nice. Rice noodle they serve for breakfast is really delicious.

Very nice little hotel on a quiet street

I had a beautiful experience with Hanoi Chic Boutique Hotel. The room was very well sound proof, we didnt hear a thing from the busy street. Bed was super soft and comfy, very good value for your money

The hotel is ideally situated in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and is surrounded by both Coffee Shops and many places to eat. Breakfast was buffet style with both Vietnamese and Western plus the chef also cooked other food to order. The staff at the hotel were without exception both professional and friendly. Ryan in particular had an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of where the best places were For eating, drinking and sightseeing.
We will stay at the same hotel on our next visit to Hanoi

The Hanoi Chic Boutique Hotel is an excellent hotel in the middle of the old quarter. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and very helpful. They all go out of their way to make sure that you are happy and comfortable during your stay. I had day trips organised by the hotel and they were all excellent. The staff spoke excellent English too.

I arrived abit early to the hotel, so the staff provided me with a drink to cool myself down, I was informed that my room was not ready which was ok as I had arrived earlier than the book in time, but I was informed about some very good coffee shops in the area, and I went to one, when my room was ready, I was lead to it by the manager, a warm and welcoming woman, and told about the room, it was a very good room providing me with my needs.everyday the room was cleaned and I was greeted with a warm Smile everyday, breakfast was very good, a honoury menstion to ryan lee, who greeted me in the evening and was very good at giving me information and banter in the evening, which I enjoyed a lot. The rest of the stuff where brilliant tell me where to get a Khan ran. All In all this is the only hotel to stay in Hanoi.

nice hotel located conveniently in the old quarter

We had a lovely stay at the Chic Hotel. It is great value for money. The location is really handy to everything. The hotel can organise a transfer for you. If you don't have a lot of luggage you could pay 30,000 for the airport bus and it's drop offs are close by that you could walk. They have a travel agent on site who can arrange transfers, sight seeing, cruise on Halong bay and flights.

Great value for your money . Staff could not do more , always someone to open entry door for you . The two girls at the reception , Lan and Linh are a credit to Vietnam an their families The hotel \" Chic boutique \" did very well to employ the staff they have . Don't be afraid to use motor scooter guides . I think they are great value and a good laugh

this was a well price hotel well situated in the old Colonial Section of Hanoi. Great for exploring the many sights and sounds of Hanoi. There was some construction going on when I was there but it was not a major factor. The staff were nice spoke English well & were helpful

We stayed for 3 nights with a night off in between for Halong Bay. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Hotel in great location within the Old Quarter but has the advantage of being on a quiet street. Suggest you book airport tansfer with Hotel to avoid taxi scams.

Great location, value for money

This hotel is fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff, helped us with booking planetickets in vietnamese when the english website kept on crashing. Insisted that we ordered more breakfast just to be full. Plenty of choice too! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Not that big but understandable its in the heart of the city. Everytime we came back to the hotel we were greeted and smiled upon. They all showed genuine interest. And we got upgraded for one night free of charge.
