Can't review the property, as I was sent an email stating I was moved to a different hotel that was much further from the train station. Still trying to sort out a reimbursement for the taxi. Have asked several times. It would have been better to be given the option for me to find an alternative hotel if I was not happy with the location.

The hotel is actually split across two seperate buildings. This isn’t a problem but something that’s not obvious from their website. The room was clean and comfortable. But no tea/coffee, fridge, iron, or air con! Not a problem in October but might be in summer! Functional but certainly no more. Benefit is very close to Hauptbahnhof. If you need a simple but comfortable option, this is it.

Looks like an office building, terrible lobby area, grouchy receptionist, no AC, no coffee machine in the rooms, very basic small rooms!
Paid over $250 per night ( I think inflated due to Eurocup) . Should be $50-$75 per night.
Definitely won’t go back.

Friendly check in for comfort Double Room.
Nice comfortable bed, better than most hotels, pillows are a little fluffy, but very nice sleep overall.
Room was very spacous and clean, could do with a light over long mirror as the bathroom mirror was too high for my wife to do her makeup.
Would be nice if there was a coffee machine, but for the value not a complaint.
An excellent rainfall or wall shower with good temperature and pressure.
Good breakfast served on level 1.
The rooms are not air conditioned so maybe hot in summer, heating is fine for winter.
An easy walk from the train and town centre.
Can most definitely recommend this hotel.

A very basic, clean hotel in a convenient location

A well kept small hotel close to all shops and the main train station. Comfortable and clean rooms, however there is no phone or any tea/coffee making station in the room. Overpriced for the fact that it’s a „bed only“ room. Staff was friendly, we did not have breakfast but saw the buffet walking by and it looked very small. A nice hotel but prices should be adjusted.

Hotel was lovely, clean and modern. The rooms were a really good size and you could tell the hotel was very well looked after. We stayed for two nights and they cleaned the room after one nights stay which we were impressed with. The only thing that the rooms didn’t provide was additional small bottled water (bottles were only 200 ml) or tea and coffee making facilities.

Boutique 102 Highly recommended.

My wife and I are from Newfoundland Canada and very pleased to have found Boutique 102 in Dortmund and have stayed here 23 nights in the last 13 months. The purpose of stay has been both business and vacation. The hotel is only a couple of years old, just the right size ( not too big), very clean. The staff have been very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and have gone out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. I will again be returning to this hotel for 12 nights early in year 2020. I have stayed in other hotels in Dortmund, but Boutique 102 is our preference. The hotel is located a short walking distance from Central station and the main shopping areas and restaurants, etc. We highly recommend this hotel, and believe you would be very pleased with your stay. Also, nice breakfast available for reasonable price.

Only stayed a night as I had a flight in the morning but the hotel was above adequate. It is located a few minutes walk from the train station and also close to a big shopping area with lots of shops and restaurants to eat at. The hotel itself was quite clean and very comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely check for availability next time I'm in Dortmund and hopefully will have more time.

We had 2 rooms at the hotel. The service was good, the hotel was clean and very close to the main train station as well as downtown. The breakfast was basic, but adequate.The decor was odd, but looked new. I felt a little like I was on a movie set.

Christmas Market Weekend

Great hotel that seems to be fairly new. It's a boutique hotel and the rooms are on the smaller side but the room themselves are great and have a contemporary, slightly funky design. Beds are comfy, shower is spacious. Great cleanliness.

Only negatives were that the walls are on the thinner side so some noise could be heard from rooms above.

The hotel itself is in the City Centre and around 5 mins walk to 3 train stations. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless , a comfy bed and good bathroom We thought the breakfast was a bit pricey at 12 euros or so . I would stay here again and would recommend it.

Good hotel, good location around the city centre

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for only one night but it was very good and suited are needs. The staff spoke good english and we were happy with are room and facilities. Breakfast was good, not alot to offer but we enjoyed it. We would recommend this hotel and would return back when we are next in dortmund.

Nice hotel, perfect for a business stop overnight or exploring the city. Car park available just across the street and was €7 for overnight - there is also on street parking outside if you are lucky. It was not an issue visiting in late September but the room had no air conditioning - other than that - absolutely no issues at all with the hotel.

Average hotel, terrible service

This hotel is a converted office building. The location is central but the entrance is an office lobby with a small lift and bad signage. After climbing the stairs you get to a reception area with a grumpy person sitting at an office desk. Check in was pretty painful, no wifi code information given. At first glance the room looked ok but lots of problems. You can't control the heating and you can't open the windows as it is on a very noisy street. My view was of a derelict office building. The shower head was swinging in the wind, bathroom had nowhere to hang towels and no heating. Bed was ok but it took up most of the room. The rooms look good in the photos but have been done very cheaply. Given the prices I would say it is not good value.
My main negative experience was the booking and after service. I had made a genuine mistake and booked the right day for the wrong month. When I called to see if it was possible to change it for the correct date I was told the right person was not available to authorise this and encouraged to rebook for the correct date at a much higher rate. I naively assumed that in a service industry, and considering they had got my business anyway, they would do the right thing. Since then have tried emailing and been given various hints that a refund may be possible but then these are not followed through. I made a mistake but I didn't have to rebook with the hotel and they got my business anyway. They clearly don't value their customers. Avoid.

Das Hotel ist sauber, die Betten sind gut, die Raumgröße ist o.k., das Personal freundlich. Es sind die Kleinigkeiten.
Ich war in der Außenunterkunft. Hier ging Nachts der Fahrstuhl nicht, der schon bei der Ankunft verdreckt war. Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Innenstadt und ich mag es, dass ich es vom HBF aus schnell erreichen und mich in der Innenstadt mit Freunden treffen kann. Wie jede Innenstadt gibt es Licht und Schatten.

Die Zimmer schienen auf den Bildern sehr modern und neu. Aber bei Ankunft im Zimmer war schon vieles sehr abgenutzt. Das Leder am Stuhl ganz weit gerissen und am Bett auch. Die Wände schienen auch total abgenutzt. Der Service war gut. Die betten waren bequem. Es gab keine Klimaanlage. Mit offenem Fenster konnte man aber wegen dem Lärm draußen kaum schlafen.

Man checkt in einem anderen Gebäude ein als man untergebracht ist. Auf Anfrage wo die andere Unterkunft liegt, geben es die Mitarbeiter nur mit Handzeichen bekannt, aber geben keine Adresse raus, damit man wohl nicht direkt merkt, dass man direkt neben dem Drogenmileu untergebracht ist

Das Hotel war schwer zu finden, da noch der alte Hotelname überall stand. In unserem Zimmer war Teppich verlegt, in den 5 Tagen die wir da waren, hätte ich es gut gefunden, wenn mal gesaugt worden wäre. Handtücher wurden zwar rausgenommen, jedoch nicht immer neue hingelegt genauso auch beim Toilettenpapier. Beim Nachfragen an der Rezeption haben wir jedoch alles nachgereicht bekommen und eine Flasche Wasser gratis als Entschädigung erhalten. Rezeptions- und Frühstückspersonal war immer freundlich. Frühstück war super, ich hab nur leckeren Speck vermisst.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber, das Personal freundlich. Ich war jetzt zum 4. Mal dort. Die Lage ist perfekt, um in Dortmund etwas zu unternehmen. Nah am Bahnhof, aber auch weit genug weg, ohne Zuglärm. Direkt in der Innenstadt gelegen. Viele Zimmer sind renoviert, ich hatte diesmal eines, das noch auf die Renovierung wartet. An der Rezeption sagte man mir, dass auch für diese Zimmer z.B. neue Sessel bestellt sind.
