Super disappointed when I arrived at this hotel. The photos of the room were no where close to what the room was like. The photos were so far off you'd think I went to the wrong hotel!
While the desk staff was friendly that didnt change the fact that my room felt very unsecured and unsettling to leave my belongs while I left the property to go to the football match.
I highly recommend this property post correct photos and description of the rooms and anyone wishing to stay does their research to make sure you will be getting exactly what you thought you were getting before arriving.
I personally feel Expedia needs to compensate me for false advertising as I would have never ever booked this hotel if I knew this was what I was paying for.

Hotel was basic, staff friendly, breakfast good, wifi didn't work, room basic and old fashioned, but very clean. WC and shower along corridor. For the price it was good. My only complaint was noise from outside, as it was Saturday night and there were people being people until the early hours. Lots of bars nearby if that's your thing.

This is a great hotel if you need somewhere to sleep and touch base. Its in the centre of dortmund, super close to HBf and the main shopping area. I stayed in the single room with shared bathroom.
There was one night where someone was a little loud, but i was prepared with some ear plugs.
Bed was comfortable and the room was warm, room also received turn down service everyday.
Showers and toilets were clean and seemed to be attended to every day. The breakfast, although good, was the standard to expect from most German budget hotels.
Wifi in my room was not the best and took some figuring out to get it to work. Most of the people reviewing this hotel expect more for the price and clearly think it will get them further in life to complain.

Oh my. You have to walk down a dark narrow street to reach the hotel. The lobby is only staffed until 11pm. The rooms do not have individual bathrooms, only a sink. The shared bathroom is very dated with an old shower and toilet. There is no safe in the room for valuables. There is a flickering hall light outside my room. The room door only has one lock. Very old and dated property. I am disappointed that nowhere on Expedia did it explicitly say shared bathroom and shared shower. 2019 standards (even in Germany) are private bathrooms and private showers. Very unhappy.

So blieb mir nach langem Chat mit Hotels.com nichts anderes übrig als 1,5 Stunden später mit Koffer durch Duisburg zu ziehen auf der Suche nach einem freien Hotelzimmer. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, die Ausstattung den Preis angemessen. Was ich vermisst habe ist, das es in meinem Zimmer kein warmes Wasser gab. Die Dusche im Flur habe ich nicht ausprobiert. Das Frühstück habe ich auch ausserhalb der Unterkunft eingenommen.
Preis Leistung ist gut. Das Economy-Zimmer ist dem Preis entsprechend möbliert. Weil kein warmes Wasser gibt es von mir nur 4 ***

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der City also fußläufig über allen gut erreichbar! Wir haben im hinteren Teil geschlafen dort war es relativ ruhig was sehr angenehm war, das einzige was gefehlt hat war der Föhn für meine Frau! Das Frühstück war recht einfach aber ausreichend und sättigend!

Das Hotel hat bessere Tage gehabt, es ist extrem runtergekommen. Alles ist veraltet, die Heizung hat eine viel zu geringe Kapazität. Am Freitag gab es extreme Lärmbelästigung von draußen, die ganze Nacht durch wurde geschrien, laute Musik dröhnte, Auto- und Motorradposing in den engen Straßen- das ganze beruhigte sich erst etwas gegen 5.30 Uhr.
Trotz der begrenzten Zeit für das Einchecken (bis 20.30 Uhr, mein Zug hatte 70 Minuten Verspätung!) bemühte sich das Personal freundlich um eine Lösung. Ich werde dieses Hotel nie wieder nutzen!!!

Hotel liegt in guter Nähe zum HBF. Leider war es an diesem Abend draußen etwas laut, was mir persönlich wenig ausmachte, da ich trotzdem einschlafen kann, aber wer da empfindlich ist, hat ein Problem. Das Hotel selbst kann wenig dagegen unternehmen. Ausschilderung im Hotel selbst zum Frühstücksraum schlceht, wer wie ich das Stockwerk vergessen hatte, muss ein wenig suchen. Das Frühstück war für den Preis angemessen. Würde dieses Hotel beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Dortmund wieder buchen

Ich muss leider sagen das dieses Hotel in meinen Augen einfach entäuschend ist, der Eingang war eine Garagentor mit hinter ein nicht so schönen Vorhof. Die Zimmer sind zwar schön Sauber und gut eingerichtet, aber leider zu unsicher. Man kann aus den Fenster klettern was es auch zu ein Einbruch verleitet.

Ich habe zwei Monate lang auf verschiedensten Wegen versucht, das Hotel zu stornieren, was offenbar ohne Registrierung bei der Buchung über e-bookers nicht möglich ist. Es wurde der volle Rechnungsbetrag abgebucht und auch die laut Buchungsbedingungen rückzuerstattenden zehn Prozent nicht zurück überwiesen. Hände weg von diesem Hotel!

Wer eine günstige Bleibe für eine Nacht sucht, in meinem Fall war es der Besuch der Messe, der ist in diesem Hotel richtig. Es ist einfach und funktional eingerichtet, allerdings sehr hellhörig. Daher unbedingt Ohrstöpsel einpacken. Ansonsten liegt es sehr zentral zum Hauptbahnhof und zum Zentrum, U-Bahnstationen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich direkt um die Ecke.

Bei der Ankunft war alles in Ordnung und der Herr war freundlich. Ich habe ein Comfort Doppelzimmer gebucht. Comfort steht für Wohlfühlen und dass war absolut nicht der Fall! Auf den Bildern sind alle Zimmer ewig groß abgebildet und als wir ins Zimmer kamen, war das so klein wie eine Kammer. Zwar im großen und ganzen gut eingerichtet aber dann kam das Wasser, dass erst nach ca 10-15 min lauwarm wurde sowie das Duschwasser, immer aufs neue. Wir waren 4 Tage (3 Nächte) dort. Normalerweise wechselt das Putzpersonal die Handtücher jeden Tag und macht das Bett. In den ganzen 4 Tagen war keine Spur davon, ich musste anrufen und wurde dann noch dumm angemacht weshalb ich denn Handtücher brauche.Bett wurde nie gemacht obwohl ich das Schild rausgehangen habe “Bitte Zimmer reinigen”. Dann zum Frühstück, Aussicht war absolut grau und nicht schön, das Frühstückszimmer war im alten stil aber in Ordnung, das Frühstück war sehr mager, Brötchen fertige Eier butter marmelade und honig, etwas Wurst und Käse. Obst war alt und es gab nix frisches wie Speck/Bacon oder warme Sachen. Die Tür hat unten geklemmt als wir rein wollten, wäre kein Personal da gewesen wären wir draussen gestanden. Ich gehe da auf keinen Fall wieder hin! Teilweise unfreundlich, zu kleine Zimmer für anderes was Versprochen wurde und dann noch viel Geld dafür gezahlt, hätte ich gleich in ein anderes gehen können dass auch in der Innenstadt(Zentral) liegt und dass für den gleichen Preis.

So ein schlechtes und unsauberes HOTEL haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Das Zimmer ,die Möbel, das Bad, einfach alles, ist in die Jahre gekommen. Schubladen innen noch mit Spuren vom Vorfänger zu sehen. Gardinen mit Löchern. Wir haben uns insgesamt nicht wohl gefühlt, leider auch keine Alternative gehabt. Dieses Hotel können wir nicht empfehlen.

Old hotel,and from the hallway you can hear everything that is going on, so the privacy is questionable. Breakfast is limited but ok. Run down beds. Tiny TV. Shower without thermostatic water tap, so you run the hot until it’s too hot, and then mix with cold, and then somebody flushes the toilet and the water gets too hot again. Friendly staff! And if you are on a budget there are not many cheaper options.

Das Hotel ist altmodisch und lieblos eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch nicht wirklich freundlich. Die Toiletten, welche sich am Gang befanden, waren immerhin sehr sauber. Auch das Frühstück war gut. Ein weiterer Bonuspunkt ist die Nähe zum Stadtzentrum und zum Hauptbahnhof. Beide kann man zu Fuß in wenigen Gehminuten erreichen.
