Room was clean. I reserved a double room with Balcony, but there was no balcony, sadly. The little restaurant was fabulous with great service and excellent ambiance.
The breakfast was wonderful and the concierge care was super. I would definitely stay here again.

The cost/quality ratio is off here. The hotel is in need of maintenance, the rooms are very stuffy and hot without any air circulation. The windows cannot be left open at night because of noise and bright streetlights. The mattresses are quite hard and the water provided in the room had a bad smell, requiring using the water in the minibar. The location is still excellent. Previous stays here were better, but it seems as though it has been neglected.

My husband and I stayed here the last two nights of our CDMX vacation. We always save the best for last. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. The first night, the hotel hosted a wedding party. We were unable to visit the rooftop bar and the party lasted the entire night. It was so loud that we were unable to sleep for most of the night. We considered moving to another hotel just to try to sleep. Before coming to the Condesa hotel, we stayed at a more boutique spot for half the price. The rooms and bathrooms there were cleaner, much larger, and had a very unique style. The Condesa hotel felt like a beach party hotel that had been neglected design-wise. I could have overlooked all of that, but the lack of sleep put me in a mood. At the very least, you should be able to sleep in the hotel you book.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a great walkable location in La Condesa. Breakfast was wonderful, with attentive and friendly servers. The bathroom was quite small, with terrible lighting. It was not as \"luxe\" as several other boutique hotels that we visited once we were there, but it served it's purpose for our visit quite well.

I made a reservation at this hotel through Expedia, but upon my arrival, I was told there were no available rooms for me. The hotel staff acknowledged my booking but mentioned that Expedia hadn't confirmed it with them. Fortunately, the hotel was very helpful and managed to find me another place to stay. Unfortunately, since we were traveling with a group who had booked at Condessa, we couldn't stay together. This created some inconvenience and additional expenses, as most of our plans were organized to include the rest of our travel companions.

don't go there....

it was not a good experience, from smoke smell towels, to them giving someone else our room key and them just walking into our room, finding someone else's passport inside the locked room safe, killed a brown recluse spider in the bathroom, the picture showed a nice big renovated room what we got was run down, old holes in the wood floor. the maid walked into the room twice unannounced, they left some bottle of water next to the bed that was obviously refilled, never touched it!!

You’re getting 3 star hotel accommodation for 5 start prices. I’ve stayed at many hotels in CDMX this one by far missed the mark. The bed was so uncomfortable. The towels and robes are old. There is no sound proof. Generally lacks what you expect from a 4/5 start hotel.

I love Condesa DF it’s in the heart of my favorite neighborhood La Condesa. The hotel sits on a landmark building that is simply beautiful . However, the rooms sure need a renewal of some of the furniture and carpets. They look and feel kind of overused. Overall a great place to stay in Mexico City.

A great hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are small and bathrooms are smaller, but that’s not what you’re there for. You’re there for great hospitality in an outstanding location. The rooftop bar is the perfect spot for a nightcap, or the beginning of an evening out. We loved it and we’ll be back.

The hotel was okay. The Balcony description n is false: it’s small window that looks like a balcony. Just window. The shower didn’t have shower head, and the toilet had low pressure.

Oh, the light is horrible in the room. So dark! I even asked if I can get a table lamp and the person said ‘ we hear that complaint a lot but we don’t have it.’ Hahaha 2 girls had to struggle to do make up!!!

Breakfast buffet menu included was limited with fruits, yogurt, some bread. Coffee was Not good. Especially capuccino.

If I ever go back to CDMX, I’ll go Four seasons.

Definitely not value for money.

I got carried away by the chain (Habita group) and paid an exhorbitant rate vs. what the hotel offers. Yes it is in a good location, but the rooms (most of them) are tiny. There is no bedside table on either side, the bathroom has absolutely no space except for a toothbrush. The closet is the same, just a space to hang clothes but no drawers. A table at the front with two chairs that serves as a nightstand, desk, area to put your toiletries, clothes and anything else that usually any other room would have, but not this one. The service was friendly, but not very fast. The food was just as simple, nothing spectacular. It was disappointing to pay this rate for this hotel, any other hotel in Polanco cost the same. After 5 days they had no more room (fortunately) because we found the Hotel Villa Condesa on the next block less than half the price and with much better room amenities and elegance. Definitely not value for money.

Beautiful property, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (accommodating of all our asks and answering our questions, helping us call a restaurant to flag late arrival when our uber didn't turn up and providing recommendations) and a great location for walkable parks, cafés and restaurants. Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back for another stay or at least a drink on the rooftop!

Beautiful, charming building, but a little dated. Bed was comfortable and ambiance was attractive.. Location is great, in excellent neighborhood,. nice balcony. However, bathroom is very small (as a side note: great water pressure in shower), not enough furnishings (ie: no office desk, chests or shelves and only one waste basket in whole suite). Roof top bar/restaurant and first floor restaurant and breakfast are great amenities.

Location is excellent! Easy and safe walking to parks, coffee shops, restaurants etc. Service is also excellent - very friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar is a great option if you are tired and just want a nice drink and a bit of decent sushi. The property is a bit tired/worn but the beds are comfortable and the location and high level of service do compensate for that.

The property is in really good condition, clean, cool looking and well maintained. Lovely view outside. However the room is so poorly designed that staying here was frustrating if you stay for more than a couple of days. We had two small carry on suitcases and only one fit in the tiny closet positioned off a narrow entryway from the door. You had to take turns getting to your suitcase since the passageway was too narrow. Two huge rocking chairs took up so much space in the room that another suitcase wasn’t even possible to put on the floor without tripping over it. Very little space in the bathroom to put your toiletries. Few plugs and only one bedside. No bedside tables or places to place your water or book apart from a narrow headboard shelf. Not worth it to stay here again.

I stay here because of location and the great rooftop restaurant/bar- but it was closed for rental my entire stay- first for a film shoot and then for a private party-the noise not just from the events but from the middle of the night set up and breakdown of the film production and fume producing generator outside my window made it impossible to sleep for two nights. The price has doubled since my last stay and is not worth this noisy experience with no regard for guests.

We had the terrace suite and loved our view. I’m not sure how there are any bad reviews honestly, we had the best stay.

Always loved this hotel but so disappointing…

First off, I have LOVED Condesa DF for more than 10 years. I’ve been there many times to have drinks or a meal booth on the rooftop and in the lobby. I always told myself that one day on a special occasion I would splurge and stay at the property. It was my husband’s 50th birthday and the last night of a 3 week trip to Holbox, Dominican Republic and Bacalar before heading back to Los Angeles the following day.
When you pay close to $600 for a corner Junior Suite, you don’t expect the carpet by the bedding to look frayed, the tile work to be cracked throughout the entire suite, two lamps that did not work and an unsightly worn out brown leather wing chair that was a focal piece in the bedroom.
There was a lovely sentiment of a welcome card and some macaroons. Unfortunately the macaroons were super old, dry and brittle to the touch. I’m a Chef and caterer so I’m not exaggerating when I say they were old.
Last but not least, the next morning we went to take a shower and there was a completely capped empty bottle of body wash. We had to use the shampoo to wash our body.

NO RUNNING WATER FOR 2 DAYS AND NO SERVICE

I was thrilled this small unique hotel had some last minute availability for our spontaneous trip to Mexico City. We paid for a suite so we could do some work from our room and have plenty of space.

Our arrival and check in was great and the hotel and room were charming and clean. However on the first day of our stay the air conditioning was not working, and they kept \"coming to fix it\" and pushed a few buttons and said it would work but definitely did not and we couldn't sleep. On the second day our hot water stopped working all day. we were told it would return in the evening so we did our best to stay busy during the day and came back expecting hot water.

The water had stopped working all together on day 2 and day 3 of our stay there. The manager was unresponsive and never made any effort to return my calls and request to modify my reservation or get a refund. We left on day 3 to fly home without showering for 2 days of sightseeing and having paid top dollar for a suite and being treated like annoying tourists.

I understand things happen but I've never had this experience with the staff being so rude and unaccommodating especially when I was paying $500 per night un USD. Worst experience!!!! Do not stay here!!!!!

This hotel came highly recommended and by all accounts is considered a classic. Architecturally it’s quite beautiful and there are lots of restaurants nearby. I was wit shordy so I sprung for a king suite. If comes with a balcony and… that’s about it. Room was tiny considering the price (around $500 a night). I def expected more room. Also, the street was RAGING until 1am, which blindsided us. Def did not feel suite-like. Felt like the bar was literally in our room. Icing on the cake was the bathtub. Handle came off entirely, temperature felt impossible to regulate, and the drain did not work. Staff was generally super helpful and prompt, but when i voiced my misgivings about our experience, they became instantly unhelpful. Guess it’s all well and good til it’s time to count the money. Anyway, pretty disappointing. Def won’t be going back

Great staff, amazing location, roof top deck was a perfect place to chill out, and if you are concerned about safety/water/etc - you don't need to be worried at this hotel. I would agree with other reviews that even though I love the design of this hotel it could use a refresh as over all things are getting worn out. It's still lovely, but for the high cost I would expect the design elements to be crisp. Rooms could use better lighting, new paint, bed was to hard for me. Showers are fantastic.

Location is great and hotel is a beautiful space, the rooms are nice, but the low quality of the customer service takes away the pleasure of being there. I will not return - for the higher price you expect a luxury hotel with service to match. Their staff doesn't seem to care unless you pressure them into acknowledging the bad service. We had a number of bad experiences with their staff - leave it to say I would recommend picking a hotel with a better service rating.

Very stylish hotel but lacks in comfort. Rooms are small. Beds small with old mattresses and uncomfortable pillows. Wifi slow and unreliable. Weird things like only one robe provided in a double room. Lots of noise comes in from the courtyard... we had the misfortune of staying on Dec 31st and we're kept up until 4am with a rowdy party. Would not return.

Condesa DF has an incredible location and is warm and attractive. They are currently doing work on the rooftop bar so that was a bit of a distraction but should be done soon. The “hot tub” on the roof wasn’t in use.

We originally were put in an interior room that was small with no windows. We paid for an upgrade and then had a lovely room overlooking Parque Espana. I highly suggest a room with a view - the surrounding streets are lush and beautiful.

This property is located in a great park like neighborhood and the guest rooms are built around a beautiful courtyard. The staff is attentive and courteous and the breakfasts & roof bar are outstanding. I chose this hotel because of the positive reviews, but that was a mistake— this hotel was a big disappointment! My room (a “patio” room) had literally no window and was so claustrophobic. It was also TINY. The staff at the front desk were fine but not particularly welcoming or helpful. The restaurant was awful and overpriced. Overall I mean it was a manageable experience, but not the wonderful, comfortable, upscale experience I was looking for.

I booked a room with a balcony, but when checked in I realized it was only a decorative balcony with NO access to outside. I reported it to the desk and the lady who checked me in was very accommodating and changed me to a room with a real balcony. Perhaps they should advertise that those are only rooms with decorative balconies....
The shower was inoperable because the knob that switches from tub to shower was broken, so I was forced to take a bath...which was very inconvenient at 6am and in a rush to get to the airport. I reported the issue to Victor at the desk when I was checking out and he did NOT show any type of concerns nor an apology. Very BAD attitude and service, not to count that he was wearing a sport white jacket at the desk without a name tag and very unprofessional.

not a good hotel but has lots of space

OVER PRICED like no tomorrow for nothing. I only stay at this hotel when I have a bunch of meetings as its virtually unlimited amount of space to sit and have work meetings. The actual hotel is crap, really badly organised, noisy, uncomfortable and so expensive its ridiculous. They need to renovate this property.

Double Bed room was spacious however bathroom was cramped with no counter top space. The bathroom lighting was suboptimal (dark) for women. “Balcony” does not mean a deck to walk out on. Need better explanation on website. Room was overpriced for what it was. The rooftop deck is very nice. Would like to see more female waiters on rooftop.
The service was great and very gracious. The breakfast buffet was good with nice ripe local fruits.

We (two friends) loved staying at Condesa df. The hotel was chic and accommodating, the rooftop bar was perfect before dinner and the breakfast (included) was incredible. The rooms are quite small, but well-appointed. The team at the hotel was very helpful and kind! The neighborhood has great dining options and is walkable--great access to the park!

I wanted to like this hotel as it looks great and has an amazing location. But sadly, the service is terrible. Reception staff were always off-hand. Restaurant staff slow and inattentive - try getting a coffee at breakfast without asking 4 times. Room was badly maintained and TINY, and I supposedly had a superior room with terrace. No room for my suitcase, no room to unpack or put clothes except on hangers (no drawers). Annoyingly, no free water bottles. You can’t drink tap water in Mexico and the tiny bottle in mini bar was 35 pesos. Not cool. The bar upstairs is SO noisy and debris from above would fall into our terrace. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel Condesa DF is beautiful and warm and welcoming. My room was gorgeous and a perfect home for my stay in CDMX. Hotel staff was eager to please but at times awkward and less than perfect at addressing simple issues. Steam room, jacuzzi and treadmill were not running properly or ready to use. My airport transfer, which I confirmed no less than three times, was not available when it was time to leave.

Unique design, hip without being overbearing boutique hotel in gracious, calm part of the city. Breakfast buffet perhaps the best I've ever encountered, and food in restaurant in general was superior. Didn't have a chance to try out the roof bar (unfortunately did not serve coffee/tea, which would be a nice touch in the afternoons). Room a bit tight, but cozy and efficient. Would recommend springing for a terrace!

Love Condesa df

We have stayed at condesa df several times. It’s a beautiful hotel, standard rooms are pretty small, but the next category up is much better. Service and breakfast are all good. Rooftop has a great vibe, nice views, great food and drink. Oh and comfy sofa seats. Perfect for sundowners.

Condesa comfort

The suite was great roo.y airy room 2-8 three Juliette balconies that you can open and the air breeze through the room. Nice amenities and the welcome with a very nice white tequila was a nice touch. Their cer service to the airport was great as well and the rooftop was perfect with great atmosphere and tasty cocktails. Condesa is still my favourite neighbourhood of México City.

I liked the property very much. I enjoyed the neighborhood and the surroundings. the bar is fun and the food is good.
Mariana Barrera was great and very helpful. She went out of her way to take good care of me! She got me a dinner reservation on New Years Eve and even walked with me to the restaurant. She is great.

Great location, noisy rooms

Hotel is beautiful and in the perfect location. Unfortunately, the room we were in was tiny with not nearly enough shelves or hooks in the bathroom. There is also a bar on the roof which is great for a sunset drink, but a nightmare if you want to go to sleep before midnight on the weekend. Overall it was a good stay (staff is wonderful), but loud, expensive, and the room was smaller than expected.

Charming, hip. In a groovy hood near a little park. Gorgeous windows and mix of French and Spanish and modern styles. Near cute little coffee shops, barbers, taco wholes and in general, a lovely area.
