Location, location, location. We found the hotel was within walking distance to lots of restaurants, other neighbourhoods, historical sites and museums. It was also within the area that some of the tours going outside of this area (e.g., hot air balloon & Coyoacan) would pick you up.

It was a comfortable room and the breakfast was good. We couldn't hear noise from the road/city but were glad to have brought earplugs as the sounds of people talking when in the concourse area really could be pretty loud.
All in all, it was good value and we would go back.

This is a terrible place if you go for business or to relax.
Even though people were really nice and cordial, it was a painful experience.
First, they gave us a wrong room (without AC) upon our arrival at 1am, indicating our room was \"under maintenance\" when it was probably double booked. We were charged anyhow the room with A/C.
Next day, they moved to the correct room.
Nevertheless, this room is next to the street. It was so loud and noisy . The entire Hotel is very loud with traffic noises. (The entire day)
Then, the cherry on the top. This is a pet-friendly hotel.
A couple decided to go partying leaving 2 dogs unattended in the room. It was impossible to sleep until 1am.
Reception staff is very nice and polite but extremely junior. Couldn't handle the situation.
Free coffee and tea is offered but cannot be taken in the restaurant once you finish breakfast. Besides the restaurant there is really little space to hang out in the hotel and the few available are uncomfortable.

I book a suit, and I know the fair are low, but there is not consistency with the rooms, the guys in front desk he always said they are fully book and they gave me the more awful room close to the restaurant, which the noise starts at 7 in the morning. and the room was pretty tiny while I saw other rooms for the same price better and with even a window. I don't recomment this place at all.

Pésimo servicio y atención. El personal del hotel no sabe gestionar las habitaciones. Llegué para mi check-in y me dijeron que mi habitación había sido entregada a otro huésped, entonces me dieron una habitación diferente; al otro día, me ofrecieron la habitación \"más grande\" como compensación por su error, pero al otro día, me pidieron desalojar el cuarto porque esto era una cortesía de una noche únicamente. En esta habitación de lujo no había papel, se fue el agua del baño. Ya para el tercer cambio de habitación, me dijeron que ese cuarto era para otro huésped. Si pueden, huyan de este lugar, aparte que no hay suficiente ventilación, hay mucho ruido y el costo del hospedaje no vale la pena.

The hotel is cute, good location.
The shower located by the main room door I didn’t like it. The room was very small so if someone is planning on spending time at the room it isnt the best for that then.

Hideous!! Do not book here ! Toilet clogged upon arriving , sink is leaking flooding the bathroom, only two staff on with a supposedly full house . They must give me a refund this is absurd . Also the room ac isn’t working blowing room temperature air. I demanded a refund and was refused , it’s still the first night of arrival at night of writing this . Absurd mai. Staff is trying everything to help it’s not their fault

Very beautiful and local. Everything is at a walking distance. There is no parking available from what I am aware of. The price was reasonable for the amenities that it includes. The rooms have no AC only a fan and a openable window. It is normal since there is great climate in Mexico City (depending on the month of your stay). Other than that, it is very clean, the staff was great and the breakfast was good. Montserrat was our go to person. She is very nice and friendly. Thank you Hotel MX Condesa for a great stay!

Front desk receptionist staff was not friendly. Not welcoming act as if we were bothering with questions.

Other staff were nice. Unfortunately the room is very small not for 3 adults. Do not book if you want some sort of privacy as bathroom is right in front of the beds. You can hear and smell everything. Room was hot and muggy no air conditioning. The ceiling fan did help but not very much. Just a room to sleep in.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a pleasant time. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean. In the morning we would walk 5 minutes to the bakery and get fresh bread and coffee. Around the corner is the metro station which made getting around very easy. My only issues with the hotel are the following: First, the bathroom door which is glass doesn't provide much privacy. Second, even though the aesthetic of the room was nice the floor had vinyl tile which was kind of peeling and the walls had a bit of saltpeter. But since it is an old building you can't really complain. Overall, beautiful hotel, great location, awesome staff. Will return

LO UNICO BUENO FUE EL DESAYUNO

Decepcion total nada como lo publicitan!
Anandonamos las habitaciones desde el 7 de Agosto 2025 con pago hecho hasta el dia 13, lugar muy humedo no hay privacidad en la habitacion poca luz y espacio para la ropa.
Lo unico bueno fue el desayuno incluido del restaurant al fondo.
Muy ruidoso y de muy dificil acceso para tomar el auto por la ciclovia que tiene enfrente.
No lo recomiendo, el personal en particular Michel de actitud arrogante y nada amable.
Los conserjes fueron atentos pero las instalaciones son viejas y en dos ocasiones se descompuso el sanitario, y solo nos dieron la pompa para arreglarlo nosotros.
No reportaron mi salida desde el dia 7 de Agosto 2025 y no contestaron mis mensajes dirigidos a la propiedad.

At around noon and understandably we could not get our room yet. So we waited. We got our room and had no air conditioning and we were given the room
That faces the street. We can hear all
The traffic and noise from the street, we were given an extra fan that didn’t work. When I asked for assistance or move to another room we were told that we couldn’t get accommodated. We then asked for breakfast and they told

There's no air conditioning nor ceiling fans so ventilation is limited to small window.

Open courtyard that all the rooms face so anyone talking will wake you up, which happened to me several times.

Construction work was happening while I was there so noise from that all throughout the day.

The building is very unique in that the inside lobby is really a courtyard. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly. My only “negative” is that very few rooms have air conditioning. The rooms without do not have a window to open to let in cool air so sleeping was probabilistic

We had a terrible experience at Hotel MX Condesa and feel compelled to share our experience. Based on the positive reviews, I expected a comfortable and welcoming stay, but it was anything but that.
*front desk staff was consistently rude and agitated
*Our bathroom was completely unusable—the tub and sink were backed up, and the toilet was clogged.
*getting toilet paper was only done once we took the empty roll to front desk
*bath towels had a bad odor
*When we brought these issues to the staff’s attention, there was zero empathy.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. A refund would be the least they could do to make up for such a disappointing experience.

If you’re considering this hotel based on good reviews, BEWARE—our experience was the complete opposite. Hopefully, management takes action to improve.

The rooms need some renovation. Some of the furniture it's old and falling apart.

The first two nights were a little rough to sleep. They room didn’t have a/c nor windows that could be open. They don’t have any additional floor fans to borrow. The last nigh was so much better due to the fact that it rained which made the weather temps dropped. It was a nice room and the staff was great. Sheets, floors, and TOILETS were very dirty in our freshly assigned rooms. Really gave me and my family (5 rooms reserved total) the ick. Even their lobby bathroom was a disgusting mess throughout the entire days. Cleanliness is certainly not a focus. I didn't eat their complimentary food because if they don't prioritize a clean space, I cannot trust their food preparation.

My family booked a total of 5 rooms here and all were lacking in cleanliness. Upon entering our rooms for the first time the toilets were DIRTY, the sheets full of hair, and the floors with lots of gunk. I really do not think these things were cleaned. All of our 5 rooms and 11 guests were disappointed and grossed out.

This area was perfect for me and a friend during our first trip to CDMX. The hotel is so pretty and matches the Roma Norte area. The room itself was small but perfect for two people. No AC but it did have a fan and windows that open. I brought a white noise machine to drown out the noise from other guests and the street. The breakfast was delicious and free so you can’t beat that. I would definitely stay here again.

The vibe and decor was just captivating. The staff were super friendly. The only knock I have is some signs of mold in the shower and the shower door did not close completely. The room was sparse but comfortable and had everything I needed. Note: No A/C but it does have a fan which was fine. I would leave a window open during the day for ventilation. On the positive note, it is a fairly mice hotel in excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.

On the down side, maintenance could have been better. My room had some unpleasant whiff (mould? drainage?).
There are no real windows, only glass door to the patio, which can get very noise on weekend nights as people are back from their outings.

Good: Good location. A receptionist spoke English.
Sad: Due to the ongoing wall repaint in the corridor my room stunk. Design of the building, stone floor and stairs make it impossible to not hear voices/noise around reception and cafe area during the night and early morning. Wall sound proof quality allows to hear voices from the neighbour room. Coordination between staff. A receptionist put me in cafe area to charge my phone, in about ten minutes another lady kicked me out because the area was closed. Waiting after check out area has no charging outlets and have sitting space to accommodate no more than 10 people.

The property was clean and aesthetic and safe. However, the rooms were tiny. The beds were hard and there is no privacy between the restroom and your bed and there are no amenities in the rooms. They do provide towels, soap bar, and shower gel. The bikes in the photo are just for show they don’t allow you to use them.
